141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XC][OFFICIAL] PoS/Privacy on: June 30, 2014, 10:10:36 PM
Alarm going off AGAIN this time hitting under 120K. My sign to buy.... to bad I only have .5BCT right now :/
it's reaching 120k or less at least two times per week...

Seems that way. Every time I buy more it seems to go up, then to come back down a few days later, its like a cycle. What worries me is am I getting too deep into this coin. Not that I doubt it, but the market is so dang funny. You see other coins with all the issues, go up and up, this one is one of those who does not seem to ever have any real issues, just bounces in a tight range.

Guys, DRK fluctuated from 120k-160k sats for nearly 2 months before it broke 1m...

Wink shhhhhhh

Shhhhhhh...

Thank you all for your patience!

The X11 payment from last shift has gone out finally.

Pool is resuming normal operations albeit still in test mode.

Next shifts are due to end at 3pm (UTC+1).

Many thanks,

Sta @ HashEvolved.com

Woot!   Scrypt and x11 miners coming your way.

Quick aside:  My wife asked me yesterday why the office was so much cooler Smiley  I told her I switched to a new mining algorithm (x11) with my GPU rig.  Her eyes glossed over and said 'ok'.

all these news incoming and volume are very low, whats going on? The price is cheap but few people are buying, I read many has been burnt with the last dump, and now are pretty scared to invest again in XC. It could be this the problem?

Just picked up another 0.5 BTC at these prices... WOOT!

So NO proof given! Please don't tell us our method is less then advertised without any thing else then your word

Lool, poor newbie in science.

Even when this method will be patched, the science already prove that is impossible to be 100% anonymous, so stop be arrogant -_-

http://www.cs.tau.ac.il/~tromer/acoustic/

Eat that arrogant chinass.

ps: really you hate me just because it's written "darkcoin" in my signature? pretty stupid....

I don't agree with your approach Perl, but that acoustic attack link is pretty interesting stuff.

With this style attack, is this only possible with the wallet open and sending a transaction?

Anyone have any idea when we can expect payment for our x11 mining efforts on hashevolved.com site??  I had rentals pointed at it for around 5 hours of the last shift (at over 200MH) and now I can't even see the stats for that address (XaBHWdASdPhz9QZui9Bc6CFUizKHonGkA8)  :/

I'd like to know whats happened?

Hi JCPoon, and everyone else.

Here's an update:

We are currently having connectivity issues with the server itself, so administering it, is not proving difficult, it is actually next to impossible. As such we have decided to take the pool down, till our ISP sorts out our packet loss issues.

We can tell you that the previous shift for x11 works out to about 220 XC and will be paid as soon as our connectivity to the server is restored.

We have decided to stop the pool until that happens and till we can confirm that the x11 payment has gone out.

Please note - This does not mean that any work you have done in the current shift is lost, it's just been put on hold, i.e. your shares are safe.

I would like to say that we are working hard to resolve this issue, but truthfully we're at the mercy of the ISP support team and their bloody 'line tests'.

The absolute worst case scenario is that everyone will be paid manually, however this is something we're not prepared to do just yet.

Please ensure that your miners are off or been switched to backup pools till you hear from myself or Dan.

We like to thank you for your understanding.

Sta @ HashEvolved.com

That's awesome, but please don't let this distract y'all from the Rev2 release.  I was one of the people hashing over the weekend there, and I can wait.  This is a 'nice to have', and the coin/tech itself can do without.

if it was a dark copy cat, it would fork about every other week

Oh snap...

Ouch vrc what a dump..if they are smart they would move over to XC.. Let's see.

Monero following suit.

scam revealed or fud ?

Well that's interesting marketing...  Adopt anon persona... slam coin... seems like this could be done with any coin.   I'd like to see their 'proof', but I don't like the condition of only if you carry their message.

Never mined x11 before, but now's a good a time as any.   6 card 750 ti rig pointing to :5555 with new ccminer 3.5 -   Anyone know what MH I should expect on x11 with this rig?

6 should get you around 13 MH/s with the latest ccminer (be sure to use the 3.5-5.0 with the 750ti)

Allright, getting 2.1 per card now.  Pool reporting topping out at 12Mhs - (these are just the stock 750ti...no OC, no FTW, just 750ti).  Trying the 5.0 version of ccminer, and I'll switch back to the 3.5 here in a bit.  OC settings with precision at +125gpu/+500mem.   Gonna let it run for a while to make sure it's stable, then I'll try out the 3.5 ccminer version to see if I get any better.

Also... just picked up another 0.5 BTC worth of XC and cracked my first beer of the weekend so... yay!

m8 dont get me wrong, but, buying 6 750ti to mine scrypt is like buying a mini cooper and going off road. Let the pool take its due, 5,5MH for 6 750ti seems low, my 660ti gets up to 2MHZ on latest CC miner alone, and I know for a fact that one 750ti can get better than that, while running cooler and not needing so much watt.

Were I you, I would definitely hit the cudaminer thread, you totally need to finetune your cards if u dont get more than 10MH.

TL:DR 750ti has the best MH/watt/investment ratio for x11, you need better settings

Pool now reporting north of 13 Mhs so cheers!  Thanks everyone for the direction!

II am liking that my GPUs are not burning up and that my wife .....

^this.  20 minutes after switching from scrypt to x11 my room got cooler and my rig is just humming along low and cool.

But right now i see accepted job in my miner with no reject but the frontend of the pool tell me 59233 rejected share and 0 accepted.

I'm also seeing on the site, 0 confirmed (in x11) but 236536 unconfirmed.

No offense taken, but I think your analogy is all off:  It's like buying a monster truck and never taking it off road... or buying a race car and only driving it to starbucks.

Getting 10.5 Mhs now on the x11.  If I'm using ccminer, would I still hit up the cudaminer thread to do some tuning?

Never a dull moment in XC land.

This weekend we are looking to test out the XC Multipool.

We need SHA256, scrypt and X11 miners for testing the backend.

If your interested in testing - head over to http://www.hashevolved.com/ to get started.

We may need to restart the pool at times for updates, your miners should automatically reconnect when we do.

thanks,

ATCSECURE

im sry but if u had 6 x750ti, what did u acquire those for if not x11?

Scrypt - but now I see the error of my ways... this rig has never been cooler, and it's only been mining 20 mins x11 after switching from scrypt.  Time to start overclocking tune up.

Getting 4 to 5.4 Mhs range currently as the pool is reporting with it.

Is there an instruction sheet available?

What rig are you running?  GPU card?  What OS?  I got mine pointed over there pretty quickly.
