141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest winning streak on Blackjack on: October 01, 2023, 06:26:09 PM

This is my first time experiencing this kind of long winning streak for playing blackjack for a long time. I started my balance at 100$ and ended with 322$  due to this crazy long run of winning streak and some side bet win.

I'm only using minimum bet this time because I don't want to change my momentum once I increase my bet which affect my decision making. My previous record was 10 winsteak before this but this time I voluntarily stop gambling since the dealer already shuffle the deck for 2 minutes which I believe I might lose when I still continue.

What's your longest winning streak in Blackjack? You can share here your record such as screenshots to inspire other player.
Graz on the winning streak. Also what a number to stop on lol, if you know, you know.

For me the longest winning streak is something like 9 wins in a row i think. It happened a few years back in a crypto casino of some sort. I remember because they started delaying my withdrawal and while waiting i managed to bust it all Cheesy
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino security - What changed since 2017 Las Vegas attack? on: October 01, 2023, 06:23:47 PM
Nothing changed on the policies and for the fact the number of mass shootings reported kept increasing year by year and here is the reference.

Casinos and resorts may tighten their security system after that particular incident but if you want something that needs to be changed then it has to be done on the policy level to see any actual change.

Democrats have no intention of doing it as well but they said they are going to make changes in the gun licensing regulations.
The thing with the mass shootings is, most of them are gang related shootings.

As for tightening security, thats pretty difficult, especially if dealing with a rogue shooter. Im guessing airport style scanners at entrance could be one way of trying to reduce it. But an arsenal like that would probably go in from a side door anyway.
143  Economy / Gambling / Re: Restricted on casino bonuses on: October 01, 2023, 06:17:04 PM
I have seen this before. if you dont have a string feeling/connection to the casino it migth be better to go and look for another one. Who knows, maybe they want to play the brutal KYC game with you at some point going forward.
If you do however continue playing there, best of luck to you!
144  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Sportsbook to handle large bets? on: October 01, 2023, 10:10:24 AM
I have iver 45 million wagered with stake and 20 million with bc, im looking to switch to a new sportsbook is there any on here that can handle decent limits, i contacted rollbit and a few others and they claim the provider increases them as they wish and theyre legit $200 for NCAAF lol
This you Gainzy ? lol
On a more serious note, maybe its time to contact a non-crypto casino somewhere ? A few of the traditional ones might be up for the task. That sayd, looks like being a high roller has its drawbacks, people literally afraid to take the money Cheesy
145  Economy / Gambling / Re: Plinko Simulation – BitcoinPlinko.com (Medium/Low Volatility) on: September 30, 2023, 05:37:37 PM
I guess it is pretty good way of just playing some plinko when you want to but some casinos also offer either free play or fun credits to play with. So i guess both work fine.
It wont be repeatable in any sense but might be interesting to see how many of the largest multipliers you can hit in like 10k rolls.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ban from a Casino for Nothing Other Than Winning Too Much Money on: September 30, 2023, 04:18:04 PM
I have heard about this happening both in online and physical casinos aswell. Sadly there isnt really anything that can be done about this either because it is in the rules that the casino can ban/stop providing service for anyone they dont want to serve essentially.
Its extremely scummy but at the end of the day, is what it is.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - December or January in Saudi Arabia on: September 30, 2023, 01:08:54 PM
This should be a pretty exciting matchup! I would put my money on Fury tho, he seems to be at the top of his game. Also the pre-fight shttalking is going to be epic, bet Fury gona get some shorts that go up to his neck so anything Usyk does is under the belt lmao
It's already been epic, both of them are trolling each other in social media even before the fight is being announced. And yes, it's just a matter of time before this became official and I would say that no one is surprised to see the fight being held in Saudi again. Because we all know that there are a lot of money flowing in Middle East so it make sense.

Fury will ofc first need to get past Ngannu without receiving serious damage, if he manages that, i think he wins this.
It think that what his team is expecting for Tyson Fury. He could toy Francis though before breaking him down. He just need to used his skills and not to get tagged by the power of Francis and he will be ok.

Oh yeah, Saudis have the money to make both of them very rich (not that they aint well off already) so it makes sense that the largest fights happen there.

I fully agree with him toying with Francis but he does have to stay on his toes because that dude does pack a punch. And sometimes all it takes is a freak shot from a side and its over, have seen it many times before.

149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 Oscar Awards bets and discussions on: September 30, 2023, 05:35:35 AM
@noormcs5. Where to bet on the Oscar awards? It is in your signature hehehe. The sportsbook I checked only has the odds for best director and the best movie categories. In your sportsbook it also has the categories for the best actress and best actor which I will copy and add later.

In case what is everyone's favorite picks?

@Rikaflip. Oppenheimer is the favorite! This is what I have speculated when we were discussing movies during the last Oscar awards hehehe. Will Christopher Nolan win his first oscar? There is a conspiracy theory that the academy hates him hehehe. Also, Oppenheimer was a good movie, however, good for watching at home only.

I think Oppenheimer will most likely go home with a few. It seemed to be generally praised by critics and movie goers so it will be a solid bet. It would be so funny if Barbie won aswell, not because it is good, but just to be a sign of times lol
I think The Color Purple will win something aswell, i have no clue what it will be, but im pretty sure it will get something given to it.

151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading can ruin you on: September 29, 2023, 11:55:01 AM
Trading is most times profitable and sometimes challenging to traders
I agree with what you said but i will make a point on the first part of what you said. In fact 95-99% of all traders loose money. A extremely small % of traders make money. So it would instead be: Trading is usually not profitable and always challenging.
Its a 0 sum game out there and most of the people joining in have no idea what they are doing. Its as bad a sgambling if not worse.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: September 29, 2023, 09:38:45 AM
The vast majority of the games are chance based. The few exceptions where you could make an argument about skill being involved would be poker and sports betting. Luck still playes a huge factor in those aswell but at least skill/knowledge has some role to play in predicting it correctly.
153  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do hacks still occur? on: September 28, 2023, 06:58:40 PM
Why do exchanges and companies that offer bitcoins/crypto related services still have security vulnerability that they get hacked? Are they not supposed to be professionals with securing their system, or have learnt from the experience of other companies that were hacked?

Is it not possible for the system to be impregnable?

Actually there are WAY less hacks, BUT the hacks are much larger. Back in the hacks were almost a daily occurance, or at the very least a weekly thing. BUT since the amounts were much smaller, we did not even hear about them.
Now that the hacks are much larger, they are way more visible.

As for the cause. Some them are most likely insider jobs. As for actual hacks, a huge factor is the NK state effect. It has been revealed that NK state hackers have been behind many of the largest heist. They are untouchable. Even if you find out who did it, you cant go after them.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Changed the game you gamble on? share your story. on: September 28, 2023, 06:51:48 PM
Is it the game you started playing as a gambler that you still play till now? Is there any gambler in this place who was used to playing a particular game before but never was successful winning or did not win enough and then made up their mind that it was time for a change in the game you gamble on. Which game did you change from, and what did you change to? how long did you play the game that you are deciding to stop playing because of the bad outcomes?

I started with dice basically from the beginning of dice games in crypto (oh man was that a long time ago). I tried a few other games aswell like plinko, crash and mines but in the end the simplicity and speed of the dice game is unmatched. The largest wins ive ever had were on Dice and the largest losses aswell, would not have it any other way Smiley
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next narratives in the next crypto bull market? on: September 28, 2023, 01:54:40 PM
As others pointed out it will probably be related to some big players. I have a feeling it will be also related to Blackrock - not even sure how the decentralized everything crowd will try and spin the fact that the more big money enters, the more centralized all becomes. But that is going to be the narrative, like it or not.
156  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blaze.com Crash II seeding event on: September 28, 2023, 01:51:12 PM
We’re excited to announce that we’re releasing Crash II game in http://Blaze.com, so we welcome you to our seeding event for Crash II which we would be releasing soon. For this seeding event we are following the same approach we had for Crash and Double.

I think it is very bad form to link to http://Blaze.com and not tell the users it redirects to https://blaze-1.com/ - this creates all kinds of negative impressions for the users. How can they know it is not a scam.
Also it appears the game is offline / "experiencing techincal difficulties, so trying it or testing it is impossible.

157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Apart from the bitcoin core, are there any other way to store bitcoin? on: September 28, 2023, 06:23:54 AM
Since I believe it will be better if I first understand bitcoin's technical side before I proceed on the forum, I am currently beginning my journey with it from a technical standpoint.
But as I was researching, I found out that I first needed to download a file called the bitcoin core in order to start storing my bitcoin. In light of this, I want to know if there is any other way to store bitcoin besides downloading the core. And which is safer.

And if there is, I'd love it if the senior members could assist me with it. It seems to me that utilising the bitcoin core on a mobile device won't be much easier for me, so please let me know if you know of any way to store my bitcoin without downloading the complete bitcoin core.

I have personally been using the Electrum wallet and it was been great. If you do however plan on getting a large amount of Bitcoin i would suggest you get a hardware wallet as those are much safer. I have been using Trezor and havent had any issues with it. There are ofc other options aswell and many of those can be found in the links others posted
158  Economy / Gambling / Re: CryptoPhysicist - Your trusted crypto casino scientist since 2015 on: September 27, 2023, 04:34:09 PM
Hello, it's Jaakko from CryptoPhysicist here. I have been reviewing crypto casinos since 2015 with my old review site until in 2020 I decided to sell the site away. I have been away from crypto casinos until now when I founded my new site in August 2023.

https://cryptophysicist.com/

The site is still fairly new, so only one review has been published so far, Bspin.io: https://cryptophysicist.com/reviews/bspin-io/
Please give feedback of the review to me here or to my mail: jaakko@cryptophysicist.com

I would be happy to read your experiences about Bspin.io also here. I would like to add them to my review also if you have any experiences, good or bad. To keep the user reviews trustworthy, I will probably weigh experienced Bitcointalk accounts more and first add them to the review.

Why I am back and how CryptoPhysicist is different from all other review sites?

The internet is full of review websites and crypto casinos are no exception. The biggest problem in many review sites is trustworthiness. Almost always, the reviews sites earn affiliate income and it is hard to know if the reviews are independent and unbiased.

The temptation to recommend an inferior casino can be too big to resist, especially if the casino is offering you a great affiliate deal in return (trust me, I know this happens a lot).

However, my mission on CryptoPhysicist is to stay 100% independent. I will only recommend crypto casinos where I would play myself or would recommend to my friends.

I will test, analyze and review all the casinos myself. Everything you see on my site is created and written by me. I don’t even use any designers (which you can probably tell), coders, content writers or translators – it is just me.

If I would recommend inferior casinos or write things that are not true, you probably would be disappointed at some point and never come back to my site. So there is no intention for me to recommend casinos I wouldn’t play in myself.

My aim in the long term is to create the most useful and trustworthy crypto casino review site out there. So I am not after quick short term affiliate rewards and I am not for sale for the crypto casino owners.

To read more about me and the idea behind the site:

https://cryptophysicist.com/about/

I had a look at the review you did and i like the overall style of it. You were Pretty thorough in your approach. I also like the quick guide that allows me to glance over it fast.
I do feel however that the main page needs some more work - this could be my personal preference.
I would prefer if the Review section was more clearly noticable, maybe a completely new homepage. Right now it feels like i land on the "About Us" page.
