141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Instagram bans ICO and crypto ads on: February 01, 2018, 01:36:35 PM
They are right, just trying to protect their users from the people trying to run ico's stealing other people's money. Too bad for the projects that are meant to be serious.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinsMarkets Update on: January 28, 2018, 04:32:24 AM
Aaaand another exit scam. I've seen so many exchanges go down and out like this, it will just never stop.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USD Thethers just unraveled here's the Crypto Meltdown on: January 28, 2018, 04:10:12 AM
WOW

If this is the end of tether, you can bet your hard earned BTC that it will fall... and fall hard. If you think you saw a bloodbath of crypto in early January, just wait and see what this CAN do when the fake Tether additions are kept from the markets.

If this is the scam that brings down crypto, how ironic will it be? Digital currencies were mostly used because people hated the fact that central bank printed money as they wanted. Now, tether seems to be doing the exact same thing! How's this for decentralized currency?

Tether got popular, and it's pretty amazing people and exchanges adopted it like this. I will never really trust it.
144  Other / Archival / Re: Are you worried? on: January 26, 2018, 07:38:44 PM
Since the market is going down and down are you worried about your Bitcoin? I saw someone asking what to do with his/her bitcoin? S/he has 12 bitcoin. What are you doing with your bitcoin?

No I am not worried , I have seen too many times like this from 2014 , the only result is that the price of bitcoin is from $200+ to  $10,000+ now.
So let's just hold bitcoins , a new level of price will be here.

When you have been riding this roller coaster for a while and have experienced enough dips, it does get a lot easier.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of hacked Japanese exchange on market on: January 26, 2018, 07:35:31 PM
Such people really ruin things for a lot of people, every hack has it's effect and things will usually correct though.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the defintion of a "Utility Token" according to SEC? on: January 26, 2018, 01:30:13 PM
See a lot of ICO that dont want to work US citisens is this bad for investors? Looks like they to fool investors if they are afraid of SEC? Am I right?

It's mostly affecting american people so it doesn't really matter for the rest of us.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success? on: January 26, 2018, 01:27:15 PM
Been seeing projects' Telegram groups blow up and I think that's an attribute of success. Personally, when I find a project, I do judge them by their social media presence. How active a telegram channel does say a lot with their demand.

With the rise of groups exceeding Telegram's 50k member cap...what do you guys think?

Article: https://news.bitcoin.com/telegram-followers-the-new-metric-for-cryptocurrency-success/

Yes, surely telegram is a measure to check ICO success rate.

The number of followers in an ICO telegram is a sure shot way to judge its popularity and grasp in the market. Followers are either taking part in the ICO or planning to take part and currently on telegram to check the performance of that particular ICO.

Also, the telegram is a great way to interact with ICO admin directly and this interaction usually reflect in great success.

Telegram users can be easily manipulated, if you are participating in a serious ico don't use the telegram numbers as some sort of measurement.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you predict coins will be stable again? on: January 26, 2018, 01:14:01 PM
Probably never. This is unpredictable, of course, it makes no sense to make any predictions about price. But volatility is one of the main signs of crypto currencies. The market will always fluctuate. It's just sometimes weaker and sometimes sharp.

You're right, never. Too many bad projects around to be able to say altcoins as a whole are stable. There are some stable altcoins out there though.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: January 26, 2018, 01:12:36 PM
Altcoins have become a huge part of crypto. To me it's really simple, if bitcoin survives altcoins will survive.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arsenal FC promoting cryptocurrency on: January 25, 2018, 11:49:15 PM
Pretty cool news. Football has such a wide audience, let's hope more clubs or companies will hop aboard.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: January 25, 2018, 08:15:10 PM
I think it's a good time to invest some. I managed to pick up some cheap coins here and there.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blood-Bath Over? on: January 25, 2018, 08:11:47 PM
Looks like the market has stopped bleeding for the time being. Seems like they found a new consolidation point right now. I'm interested to see which direction it will go from now on. Definitely  been a rough couple of weeks with all this red in the market

If you look at past times we should be getting  a decent price rise in the next few weeks. I also think the closing of the first futures market could have it's effect.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rebellious, can repeat the path of ripple? on: January 24, 2018, 04:57:07 PM
Why would you compare this token to ripple? Are they going to fork ripple? I don't see any similarities, could you explain?
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: R.I.P Ethereum - The Pre-Mined ScamCoin is dead on: January 24, 2018, 04:55:20 PM
Congratulation with your holdings. I know that you are already getting good profit. But same with the holders of Ethereum, we also get good profit because it has a good support by the community same with litecoin. I think no need to bash Ethereum because both coin is a good investment.

There is no scaling problem for the ETH. So it could be used more and price will rise again.

How is there no scaling problem with ethereum? Where do you think the network congestion comes from?
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of the latest scam from HyperTV serial scammer now called cointvnews!!! on: January 24, 2018, 04:54:00 PM
Such a shame some people don't want to earn their own money but instead resort to stealing other people's money.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ROLLBACK OF SMARTCASH on January 8. 2018 Did we loose our funds ? on: January 21, 2018, 02:35:29 PM
cryptopia is delisting it due to that... i think thats enough confirmation... ))

It caused delisting on Cryptopia because the devs did not inform the exchanges in advance, invalidating all their transaction after the
rollback block.

the prob is that the smartcash btc talk is self moderated and their discord too, hard to ask questions there...

We are not delisting from cryptopia please check the link https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/News

What does this mean? Cryptopia will be closing Smartcash markets so for me it means delisting, right?

Due to recent issues that have resulted in SmartCash performing a chain rollback, Cryptopia has suspended trading for this currency and will be closing the SmartCash markets.

Good we don't need centralized coins. A rollback is just not done in crypto. Especially not a rollback you try to hide from the public.
They deserve the delisting if true.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL LITECOIN RAISES TO 1000$ THIS DEC on: January 21, 2018, 02:33:09 PM
I don't think the litecoin whales will allow it to rise that fast. If it can get there at all, in my opinion litecoin is not worth 1000.
Time will tell.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hollywood Coin -HWC on: January 21, 2018, 02:31:31 PM
Why can't hollywood use bitcoin? Or an established digital currency? Why would they want to use a digital currency at all actually?
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammed on: January 21, 2018, 02:30:16 PM
I would say almost everyone on here has been scammed at some point in some way. Whether it's by directly investing in a scam or by investing on the base of false promises or being scammed by an exchange. Many here have had their issues.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Litecoin die? on: January 19, 2018, 09:34:41 PM
I dont think so. Litecoin is the 4th cryptocurrency so far. There are sayinh that it is the silver coin. I think it will go up in the futere :-)

I don't think that litecoin is dying but the fact that it's the 4th crypto doesn't mean much to me.
