141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC go down to <$5k again now? on: January 12, 2021, 04:06:28 PM
I can easily imagine BTC down under $30k or even $25k. But currently it's unimaginable for me Bitcoin to crash under $5K. Too many big players around.
142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bit Coin dropped 12% since morning ,where is it going? on: January 11, 2021, 03:54:25 PM
WOW, with this speed, Bitcoin may drop to under $30 000 until the end of the day!

Do you under $30 000 is a good buying point?
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paper money vs Digital currency on: January 10, 2021, 04:30:32 PM
A large majority of peoples in the world believes on paper money. They think that this is used for buying or selling goods and services. A currency which has a physically appearance in the world.
But the upcoming world is the world of  digital currency. Because it is easy and reliable way for sending and receiving money at any place in the world. We can send or receive money within minutes.
But there is a huge difference between both these two types of currencies.
So, it is very difficult that Digital currency will be adopted worldwide. Because of the users are not aware of this new technology and they are not comfortable to use this mode of payment. Because they don't believe in this technology yet.
So, how we  convince the peoples to adopt digital currency?Huh

I think people adopted digital 'money' longtime ago in the form of credit/debit cards. I didn't have any cash in my wallet for 6+ months due to the coronavirus.

In 2021, Sweden introduces its own cryptocurrency. In 2023, it becomes the world's first cashless society: https://interestingengineering.com/sweden-how-to-live-in-the-worlds-first-cashless-society

If you want people to adopt Bitcoin to this level, you must make it as easy as a debit/credit card.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When to take profit from your current bitcoin holding. on: January 09, 2021, 04:40:32 PM
The price of bitcoin started rising from 15k to 20k,from 20k to 25k, I thought it has reached the last increase this season.

The following day I saw a bullish movement again, I saw movement from 25k too 30k. I thought it will be too risky to buy when it was at 30k, but it kept rising until it was 32k. I bought some Satoshi at that price level.

Few days later it rose to 33k and started a bearish movement to 31k, I was already loosing my hard earned cash. I hastily converted it to etherum because it was performing better.

I later discovered that I made a very big mistake by cashing out at a loss, I would have waited a little. A week later, Bitcoin rose to 40k plus.

I want you to comment on this scenario, when should one cash out, as the volitality of the market is very scary.

What's your advice? Is it keep holding? What if keep holding means holding at a loss?

This is strictly individual. My advice is to sell when you start feeling overwhelmed by the Bitcoin price and start comparing the dollar value daily, or if you think you will regret it if a big correction happens.

Трудно върви следенето на дискусията когато всичко е накуп в една тема. А като малко активен активен език, нямаме отделна секция.
Ей ги балканските ни Хърватски съседи са по-активни и си имат секция Cheesy

Иначе за KYC за централизираните борси ще е абс. задължително. Но има и друг номер който ползват - данъчното облагане. В US & UK дължиш данъци на всяко преобразуране. Примерно BTC > Ether > BTC.
146  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC crossed $34K. $40K this week? on: January 06, 2021, 02:57:55 PM

Why not Smiley People are getting mad and FOMO. I wouldn't be surprised to see $40K in a day or two.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's share some of our Bitcoin Pizza moments for the new ATH on: January 06, 2021, 02:25:10 PM
Nah, it's not worth living in the past.

I bought my computer with Bitcoin when the Bitcoin was relatively high, around $15 000. But today, my computer worth 50% less and Bitcoin is 50%+.

The Bitcoin dominance dropped 4(four) percent in just two days without losing much value! Maybe finally is the alt season Cheesy
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: January 05, 2021, 03:00:22 PM
This is what I called right for your health and wealth.

Congrats on having the will to do it, and most importantly to stick to it!

Share with us first what your current mechanism to make it user-less is? How do you plan to solve disputes, etc.? Then we could give you suggestions.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The "rat poison" is worth more than Buffett's company on: January 04, 2021, 02:41:42 PM
It's not correct to compare market caps Berkshire Hathaway and Bitcoin & Crypto. The first is a multinational conglomerate; the latter is far away from this conception.

I'm pro-crypto, but we have to respect each other point of view. Even if Buffett owns a $1bn in crypto or $0 in crypto, it doesn't make any difference, both for him and for us.
152  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Български (Bulgarian) on: January 04, 2021, 01:03:37 PM

153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recovered Blockchain wallets! on: January 03, 2021, 05:04:06 PM
Nearly three years ago, I recovered portable electrum with ~0.04 BTC. It wasn't any life changing, but I was enough to put a smile on my face when I convert it into beers Cheesy

156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Happening? $31K on: January 02, 2021, 05:33:45 PM

158  Economy / Economics / Re: China Economy Forecasted to Surpass US Economy by 2028 on: December 28, 2020, 05:13:38 PM
Quote
The Chinese economy is expected to surpass that of the U.S. in 2028 - five years earlier than previously forecast - following fallout from the coronavirus pandemic, according to an analysis released Saturday.

Source:  https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/china-expected-to-surpass-us-economy-in-2028-analysis/

As stated, this is 5 years earlier than last projected, due to the effects of the pandemic. The US is not going to like being in the number two spot, and even less when India’s economy then surpasses the US after that. The biggest benefit to this massive Asian economies is the sheer number of people. The United States’ best hope of competing is to increase the number of Americans and, and quickly.

The US should be drastically overhauling the skilled worker visa program to greatly increase the number of tech workers brought into the country so that the next tech mega companies are created here, and not in Asia. This is should be viewed as an area of national security. Larger militaries inevitably follow larger economies, and the US can not afford to squander the advantages while they still have them.

It isn't a comparison because China controls their entire economy. They can print money out of thin air (you know QE) predatory loans + shadow banking etc.

They can make ANY stock go up or down , because they control their economy. It's all fake.

Though i do think China has a HUGE chance to take over europe / middle east , once they have finished their belt and road initiative.

Laws and regulations are ... non existent at least to an extent. It's like a libertarians dream. (at least somewhat)

Yeah, because the Federal Reserve cannot do the same (and not doing it right now) Grin

China is huge and they will surpass the US as a whole, but per capita will be relatively low for another 20-30 years.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: December 28, 2020, 04:35:30 PM
Could have bought it in March this year for sub $4000.

Downside risk is much greater now than it was earlier this year.

Is it the mentally challenged that are getting fleeced right now.

Most probably buyers are not people but institutional investors and companies. Also, there are new people in every area all the time, crypto is not an exception.

160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Do Some People Still Ask For The Best altcoins? on: December 27, 2020, 04:02:35 PM
I'm still confused by the people who always ask the best altcoins even though we can all see if ethereum is still in second place. Are they all still not aware that number two is the best in altcoins because the first position is bitcoin

Most probably they are looking for suggestion what alts have a good potential or worth investing. They want to know how to buy cheap and earn big, etc.

I'm sure that nobody is asking about what coin is in second place (by market cap, as Ether is not the most expensive alt).
