141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expectations for March?! on: March 10, 2023, 03:45:20 AM
Just as everybody else was saying, I also don't expect much huge changes on this short amount of time.

I've seen a couple of threads with almost the same question as this one. The only thing that varies is the time period, still my answer is the same not unless there is something that can provoke the economic situation that can hugely affect crypto.

There are even companies related to crypto who withdrew there investments yet there isn't much change on the market price, and that's enough proof for me that on this short period of time there wont me nothing much to expect.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter becoming Worlds biggest Financial Institution? on: March 09, 2023, 03:04:23 PM
~snip~
Meta had big plans to connect the whole world within an unique payment system, if Twitter tries to do something similar, I have no doubt the same regulators will come after Elon Musk to stop him short and not allowing social networks to compete against banks.  Roll Eyes

It may seem that these two men and their companies have something in common, but Mr. Mars is a much bigger fox and manipulator than Meta-Man, who underestimated the system. On the other hand, a man who receives billions from the budget as support for his green-space initiatives certainly has many more friends in influential positions and a greater chance to push his project through. The thing is, how to find the perfect balance between making the project successful, and on the other hand, not being in competition with the USD.

We'll just wait and see. For now, it seems Twitter is losing more than earning new users since Elon took over. There are more who left Twitter than the ones who are attracted to it and signed up. So I guess first things first. Before making Twitter the biggest financial institution, how about restoring its image and reputation first? It is noticeable how popular Twitter users are slowly leaving the platform. It's such a waste to lose the likes of Andreas Antonopoulos, for example. Twitter has lost a wealth, a lot of brilliant minds.

Everyone has the right to choose whether to use this or that online platform, and people who for some reason do not agree with the way of management and the new policy of the company have already clearly shown this by deleting their user accounts. It is true that many famous people have left that platform, but also that they have already found alternatives - the world will not stop if you are no longer on Twitter.
That's why most users don't want to use the platform anymore. People are now doubtful because of his constant changes on his decision. If the users are already hesitant, how much more the investors? First and foremost I know that he wants business but, how can a business run smoothly if he as the CEO or the owner doesn't receive enough support not only from his consumers/target market but also from all those who invests on him.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: To cut financial ties with original family benefits you in the long run on: March 09, 2023, 01:57:02 PM
I don't know and I also don't think it is applicable to every country in this world, coz to be honest, here in my country, financial independence from the family is difficult. First and foremost, because of the tradionally filial piety we inherit, our parents become a liablity in a long run. I'm not saying it is a bad thing, but it could be a wall that prevents us from financial independence.

From middle class to higher class families, we all follow the same set of traditions. This is why sometimes it will take almost double the amount of time to build up the career to become successful. In the end it really depends upon the person although you could think that it is really a hustle to achieve what you to become successful.
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2023, Bullish or Bearish? on: March 09, 2023, 11:04:46 AM
We are still really staying at the bearish level, I don't feel that we are entering the bull season yet, I think it will be a few months before it happens in my opinion.

I've noticed recently that many communities are anxious about the return of the bull run, and I also think that many of our bitcoin enthusiasts have saved up somehow because they don't want to be left behind again... But the problem is that no one knows when the bull run is. So all we have to do is be prepared for anything that can happen in the market.
No one really know what's going to happen next, but IMO this year will either maintain or rise slightly. Based on thr economic situation we are in right now, it is not yet time for those big whales to move their assets (not that we know what they will do next), coz if they do, they will the ones who will be the most affected on this inflation.

But of course that all depends on their mood, besides that, if there is anything huge to happen that disturbs the economy, for sure it'll impact cryptocurrencies as well.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin can't be robbed on: March 09, 2023, 08:28:33 AM
I found another story. The robbers broke into a bitcoin ATM, and they were able to take out some money.
Ironically, next to them was an ordinary ATM that contained banknotes, but for some reason, the robbers did not pay attention to it.
http://iradiophilly.com/conversation.php?idConversation=8526
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF6tmzCRWos
In the fact the robbery can't rob any amount of bitcoin from Bitcoin ATM but their purpose is get some money from it because Bitcoin ATM allows people to purchase bitcoin using cash, so they think can get cash out by stealing bitcoin atm machine.

This same case was happened in the Barcelona in the past 2021 ago. There were at least 158 bitcoin ATM machine surround the country at that time based to data from Bitvoin ATM Radar that can be tracked by location. that was such a high number in Europe. Therefore, it may be one of the reason that interest Robbery willing to steal bitcoin ATM.

Reference :
Thieves rip bitcoin ATM from Barcelona crypto-store
This is either one of the two;
1. Reason  you stated above why they tried to robbed it or,

2.They just think it's a normal ATM.

Even if we say that they are aware that it is Bitcoin, the fact that people are trying to purchase something using currency also made them curious and thought "let us try earning a quick buck"  Grin
146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC would rise again? on: March 09, 2023, 07:34:51 AM
The title isn't specific and if ever anyone see that they immediately reply of course. Trading alone makes the price rise and fall so generally speaking yes it will rise again as long as there are people using the currency.

I do get your point that companies don't want to compromise their money because of so many guidelines you need to follow which can be a huge shackle. It is also true that although people are slowly learning the existence of Bitcoin and crypto, they are still hesitant when it comes to investing and adopting to it.

In a long run? Yes, I think it'll eventually rise but, to be able to break the ATH, it still needs a huge amount of money and time.
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: The BTC deep continues for the next SIX Months. on: March 09, 2023, 07:04:36 AM
It's only to be expected on volatile assets such as Bitcoin to have this unusual movements on the market. It also doesn't mean it will deep for the next 6 months or so, the same goes for the opposite. A lot can happen during those times and we could only expect the unexpected when the time comes.

I understand that it's not wrong to be prepared for anything that might come, but during the time I was taking my sweet time off the forum and the crypto industry, I still see news and other articles related to crypto, and nothing much has been different or nothing much changed aside from a trading company that filed bankruptcy, and for me the market's movements are pretty normal.

149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if a change in people's views? on: March 09, 2023, 06:11:31 AM
Let's just put it on a scenario that they will "actually" sell it. Do you think most parts or countries on this world can support that sudden change? I think nope, it's because not everyone has the ability to adapt into modern technologies and use it for their daily means. There are also several factors to consider before jumping into crypto industry:

1. Internet Accessibility
2. Gadgets
3. Financial Literacy (including education regarding crypto)

There're more factors that can be added on this list but these alone proves that it is impossible to change the way how the world works. For us who grew up adopting crypto it is easier for us to adjust in this modern and technical problems, but how about those who are inclined to traditional methods? How about those 60 years or 70 years old people from low income economy? As far as I am concern there're lots of people with the age 50+ and above from 3rd world countries who relies on fiat and are still working to sustain themselves on day to day basis.

So thinking about this scenario actually happening is clearly impossible.
150  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SIM Registration: Anong Dapat Ipag-alala? on: December 14, 2022, 03:33:37 AM

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, December 12) — Old and new mobile phone users must register their SIM or subscriber identification module beginning Dec. 27 under new rules issued in line with the law.
The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) released the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 11934 or the SIM Registration Act on Monday.

Existing users have six months to register the SIM or it will be deactivated. Owners of deactivated SIM have only five days to register and reactivate.
New SIMs sold will remain deactivated until end-users complete the process of registration.
The registration must be done electronically through a secure platform or website to be provided by the telecommunication companies to their subscribers.

Users will be asked to give some personal information like complete name, birthdate, sex, and address. They must also provide a copy of an identification card.
The IRR also states that any information and data obtained in the registration must be treated as absolutely confidential and shall not be disclosed to any person.

Telcos may disclose the full name and address of an end-user only in four instances:

*in compliance with any law obligating the telcos to disclose such information in accordance with the Data Privacy Act;
*in compliance with a court order or legal process upon finding of probable cause;
*in compliance with a subpoena issued by a competent authority pursuant to an investigation that a specific mobile number, was or is being used in the commission of a crime; and
*with the written consent of the subscriber.

"The confidentiality clause in the SIM registration shall take effect at the point of activation and shall continue even after deactivation of the SIM and for as long as the end-user's data is still retained by the PTEs (public telecommunication entity),” the IRR stated.

“For this purpose, the point of activation shall mean the time when the concerned PTE receives the required data or information from the registering subscriber/end-user," it added.

Fines and jail time await violators of the law.

151  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How effective is the covid vaccines ,Is it trustworthy enough on: May 22, 2022, 03:45:30 PM
These talks about the covid vaccines as to whether they are good or not, needed or not etc., has been going on for quite a while now and people are still divided. But regardless, it doesn't matter if you are like ke who lives in a country that restricts people that are not fully vaccinated. Here, like some other countries, it doesn't matter whether you like to be vaccinated or not because regardless of your views, you will still need to get vaccinated. This is because you will jot be allowed entry on shops or any establishments if you do not have proof of vaccination. You also cannot work nor travel. What the government said was optional was not really optional. It's like these bastards are toying with the people.
152  Economy / Economics / Re: Using plants as a savings account on: May 22, 2022, 02:39:39 PM
This is actually not a bad idea. Too bad though, not a lot of people are willing to put in the effort for these type of things. Because let's face it, taking care of plants isn't easy and requires tons of time and work. It isn't something you can just decide on a whim without a plan. Not to mention the basic knowledge required to nurture plants since every plant is different form the other having different needs to survive let alone grow well. This is why I really respect farmers that has acres of lands filled with a wide variety of plants. These people are amazing and something that the world cannot afford to lose.

154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin calls on: May 22, 2022, 01:50:31 PM
~
Now that you mentioned day trading. I would say that top 10 coins in CMC would do although it was a pretty rough experience for me when I was learning day trading back then in Binance. I am not sure how it would go for NFTs though as I never ever touched them ever. If you're going for the trends, sure! Go for NFTs though I cannot recommend ya NFTs.

NFTs are actually pretty fun brother, not inky do you get to collect artworks that catches your interest, you also get to make some profits by flipping hyped NFTs that are not the type you want to hold for long. There are tons of people right now that are flipping NFTs for profit which is why tons of NFT platforms have popped up ever since the NFTs became famous. Even on the bearish market there are still people creating, buying and selling NFTs on various platforms. I suggest you try it out, really worth your while.
155  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sideways huh! on: May 21, 2022, 05:55:28 PM
The decline can be said to be there again whether it will go down to 20k or even drop below $20k.
Everyone is still in doubt to buy and hold bitcoin so hoping for its price to go up to $40 and above even though for now it is very impossible.

Right now, I don't disregard any possibilities anymore. I just stick on spot and leave behind some extra funds to buy on greater dips if they ever do happen. Some people right now are even speculating drops that could reach 12k-19k range. Although Bitcoin is doing well this Saturday, I am not disregarding the possibility of a huge dump that may or may not happen in the coming days. I am bullish but I prefer being prepared I don't wanna regret seeing prices go so low but I don't have any more extra funds to buy and DCA. I basically am satisfied with the numbers I currently have. They're on spot anyway so I'll just wait this storm out and only move when I see drastic changes regardless of direction (up or down).
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin fall below $30k on: May 21, 2022, 04:32:08 PM
You guys predicted it well that 30k will come but it doesn't mean that your next prediction will be accurate again and as we can see the price now is stabilizing at 29k and the month of may is slowly coming to an end.

After every new month people expects that the price will get better so maybe by the beginning of June, the price won't go down again but it will only go up, up to the point where we can make a new support and that will be above 50k or higher than it. By that said maybe you guys can start stacking bitcoins now. Don't be greedy and wait for more lows because maybe this is the last time we will see bitcoin below 30k levels.

The way the market has been going since November last year, I really don't know anymore. Maybe it's just some error on my indicators and how I interpreted them in the last couple of months but I am still not too confident with btc right now. Although, it's doing good this Saturday and may possibly do well also tomorrow but it can also go even further down. Some are even speculating prices around 12k-19k which aren't that far fetched as well but either way, I won't be over buying or over DCA-ing. It's also what I recommend to most newbies right now. It's good to stack on bitcoin and other great altcoins out there on bearish seasons but if you think you have already invested enough, then don't invest any more than you already have. Always leave extra for better prices or moments where there is a huge chance of reversal with a lot of confirmations on your chosen indicators.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: If inflation is rising, why isn't crypto more valuable now? on: May 21, 2022, 03:37:36 PM
It's still doing better than most long term investments though. A change in time frame while looking at your charts will be able to easily fix this worry of yours. Although, it only applies for long term investors and not the weak-handed people or to most of the leverage lovers specially those doing high levs. Not that I'm generalising or assuring anything but yes, this is the case most of the time.

Now, although mass adoption is happening faster than ever,  the economic crap is messing thing outside of crypto a lot. Which means not a lot of people are eager to risk investing on crypto other than those that really understand this industry or the people that are really pro-crypto. While people are looking for better investments, people are also hesitant. Unless the whales themselves initiate a huge buy pressure, the smaller people won't have that much confidence to invest. At least that's how I currently see things in this industry.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin calls on: May 20, 2022, 08:00:30 PM
was wondering if anyone has some good altcoin calls like for day trading, i heard about them as well as NFT calls and seems like a good way to get into investing... I know people sell these "calls" so ill be willing to pay.

It would be better if you just try to learn for yourself but I understand, it is quite a hassle starting from scratch. A better way would be trying out a paid one. There are quite a lot out there and some don't only give out calls for apot trading but also for leveraged trades along with calls for good potential start up altcoins. Some also help you learn more about trading while giving out those signals. Of course, not all are legit and the effectiveness of profitability depends on the signal provider which varies depending on your budget for signals or calls. It would be better if you skip looking for people giving out free signals or calls since most of the time, you are just being used to pump and dump an altcoin. Be careful op and good luck. Hope you find great deals.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sideways huh! on: May 19, 2022, 06:00:32 PM
Yup, it definitely seems like we are entering a sideways scenario. Heck, I even think that we are already within it and the ranges would be 20k+ to 40k. Atill though, I am feeling a but bullish and currently expecting a breakout to 41k. Although it wouldn't be happening that fast but it think it'll happen anywhere before the third quarter of this year. The prices we see right now are definitely good prices to buy for spot and if it goes lower, just DCA or wait the storm out.
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Trying to identify the bottom.. on: May 19, 2022, 05:16:45 PM
Great post. It is pretty difficult to for nd the bottom but we can get close to it using indicators that suit our trading plans or way of analyzing chart's price movements. It was nice that you quoted what most of the newbies tend to misinterpret most of the time which is the reversal of trend from bearish to bullish vice versa. Most of the newbies expect an immediate pump just because the selling pressure is subsiding a lot. Which makes them create bad trading plans that usually ends up getting premature profits or worse, even suffer losses due to impatience caused by wrong expectations/hopium.
