Bitshares has a very attractive chart, isn't it?

Bitshares price chart and with the volume is more than $10 million, you can consider to add this altcoin to your portfolio.

It won't give you short term profit because Bitcoin is holding by bear and bull in a very narrow price channel. Altcoins will have to wait for signal from Bitcoin. If you invest in Bitshares, you have to be very patiently and wait for good growth months later. If it is not last 5 months of 2021, you will have to wait for the first half of 2022.

With cryptocurrency, waiting is worth because it will bring your good profit.

how to get back old BTS, as it is still (a little) alive ?

i hoped that the "old" Dan could something for us...
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: July 10, 2021, 07:51:21 AM
For some time we all where overwhelmed with the latest market crash and of course all problems with the finally very successful GOLD contract change.

I started to miss our talks about gold price which is pretty important for all GOLD token holders.

Wonder your thoughts? Where is gold price heading right now?

For me looks like gold bulls try to push the price much higher, am I right? At least short term.

see Basel 3 improvements, waiting for its effects.

147  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-06-27] Bitcoiner Mircea Popescu Dead By Drowning on: July 03, 2021, 12:50:13 AM
No way 1 million. I don't think there is any confirmation, would anyone do that?  I'd guess in the 10k range.

He claimed to have 1M BTC when it was way cheaper, but still, he was always a sort of a troll, so I'd take it with a grain of salt.

The real question is: has anyone seen the body to confirm it's actually him?

citation begins:
"It looks like that with the deaths of Mircea Popescu and John McAfee a significant amount of $BTC might be lost forever. RIP," tweeted Marder (though McAfee claimed to have been broke near the time of his death).

... Basel III unleashes gold price after 30 years controlled by paper derivatives with 100-1 leverage

thanks for this info, it looks interesting (I was unaware of this somehow).

... check into this then, it's important. Geopolitical problems of 30+ years are coming to a head. The rise of Bitcoin has forced some hands to be sure ...

... Like bitcoin or hate it, the latest rally was deeply embarrassing to everyone who’s been skimming the cream off society via the monopolistic monetary system. Their lies were laid bare for all of us to see.

It doesn’t surprise me at all that this week was the week chosen to do the hatchet job on crypto. It was also the week where the plumbing of the financial markets became so thoroughly clogged (see Whalen’s article above) that there was no choice but to demoralize the rubes who thought they would escape the Great Reset.

Everyone must be liquidated to make the world safe for German eugenicists and commies.

So, Basel III is coming to destroy the paper gold markets and destroy the money center banks in New York and London while setting the stage to bail out the euro-zone. Higher gold prices are the answer to all of these things. Think of it this way, in a world where debt assets are failing and new private forms of custodial assets are rising in mindshare, what’s the only real weapon the central banks have to maintain credibility?

Their gold reserves.

How do you, if you are the ECB, use that weapon simultaneously against your two main competitors, the commercial banking interests in New York and London and the nascent crypto anarchists? You deploy your gold and steal everyone’s thunder....

very important subject.
notably developing cryptos create doubts in ECB credibility with its perpetual increasing debts.
so basel 3 ruling introduction could solidify the basis of european banks in re-establishing thruth in gold assets

the problem is that this subject is still being discussed, not yet really implemented? and mainly in europe

another solution(easier ?) for central bankers is to induce a bear market in cryptos, which is currently tried actively.

Does that effect bitcoin?  or how does it relate to dee king daddy?

it does not effect bitcoin, but its effects its usd equivalent price

Snooze mode

Circulating Supply : 17.82M / 18.4M (96.9%)

https://miningpoolstats.stream/aeon

soon finished except tail emission

Pretty sure that’s not accurate. About a million coins over iirc. Still have 3yrs left on initial supply before tail emissions.

aeon situation evolving for the good. Privacy coins are presently searched.

then monerujoAE reappears.

160  Economy / Speculation / Re: April 14, Coinbase IPO and pump on bitcoin? on: April 20, 2021, 03:35:27 AM
At first I thought Coinbase IPO was positive news in the market, but now I'm inclined to think that it's this news that we see the current price drop... COIN stocks are a legal way to cash in a huge amount of cryptocurrencies, of which Coinbase has a lot! It's possible that the market was pumped up for six months for this... Anyway, the situation is very similar to 2017, when CME futures were launched...
In my opinion everything is not clear-cut here...

coinbase is not a very big exchange, in comparison with some giants,
it is mainly a gate of entry in the crypto universe.

Was the listing of bitcoin futures on CME made on December of 2017? I am not quite certain but I remember it was May 2017. In any case, this would be a strange coincidence if the bear market really begun on April 14, the day of Coinbase IPO. I reckon we should not be excited for an ETF hehehehe.

yes, according to my notes, launch of BTC futures was done on 10 and 17 december 2017.
however i have not kept the notice.

EDIT: looking at it, i found that:
