Aeon is now down under 20k satoshis. I cancelled my remaining orders to buy on and below 15k satoshis. I reckon if it goes down there it might take another long time to go back over 20k
I am very disappointed in Aeon's performance in the market.

this post needs further discussion. He is probably a pioneer in evidencing three different token categories, even if his definitions are easy to understand. maybe differenciated DEXes will become standard in the future. however we are too early IMHO, as DEX concept and use struggle for their early existence. as soon as the volume allows, better move to individualize payments, securities and commodities, categories who exist in the real life. |

I was thinking about this over this weekend. Are we the shitcoin? I criticize Ethereum and other cryptocoins for being centralized but I have not looked at the coin I support more objectively.
We have low market capitalization, a very low volume orderbook and the code is very outdated, but soon will only be a Monero copycat.
Also, if I wanted to dump all my coins, I can't because it would crash the price. I am not saying I am a whale. It will not take that much to crash Aeon.
we are responsible for our invesments. the general debate is not very quiet presently, many rushing presently in cryptos, but also a huge fud, and a lot of fighting. i do not feel more insecure here. there is really a lot of shitcoins. at least here there is a cohesive attitude, and apparent clarity. Yes we should but that is not the point. I am asking, objectively, is Aeon a shitcoin? Are we the only people loving it because we hold it? @boomboombazookajeff. Yes, I have to be honest that the only reason I am still holding Aeon is because of smooth and stoffu because I trust them, and they are the only developers who can get Aeon out of shitcoin status if it was that, I agree that it is a delicate phase. I hope we shall go out quickly. but technical issues have to be fixed. |

Is decred simply a payments coin or are there other use cases for it? Also, do they plan to gain partnerships or is it more of a "store of value" coin?
DCRtime, Politeia and a lot of kinds of smart contracts can serve many purposes in decred. I'm the community manager from Brazil. We have a large decred community here. Here are two examples of Brazilian companies that use dcrtime as the basis of their business. my life savings was 28kk$ and i put 20kk$ on cardano (3march/0.30$). now its 0.17$ im hodling but im dying inside i cant sleep/eat.  never put money into over hyped projects also when i see anything mostly spammed by noob accounts over and over the alarm bells start to ring. agreed. try functional systems, not pure promises. they can be deceptive later. |
