141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitget exchange on: March 14, 2023, 12:21:24 PM
Personally I dont try a lot of exchanges for my personal trading (I am only a binance and bybit user), but I did try bitget before because of some deposit bonus offers ofc, lol. I must say their customer support is very quick in responding and solving queries. I had a long conversation with them regarding some issue and they were responding everytime. You can trade with some amount in this exchange, especially their native token, which is quite volatile Cheesy They are not upto the mark for P2P trading yet (atleast for me). Still using binance for p2p.
However, I never go all in on any exchange, always diversify to be SAFU.

I suggest you to move this thread to "exchanges" board.
142  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pyramids movement is discouraging. on: March 14, 2023, 11:41:35 AM
According to a data (by Kaiko)[1], the bitcoin market depth on the top exchanges has hit its lowest level since may 2022. This resulted in rapid fluctuations because ppl are more interested in market buying/selling rather than increasing the depth of orderbook by putting limit orders.
Also the USDC and svb tension got added to the volatility which is why we saw a straight dump to under 20k then shot back up due to forced buying pressure ( institutions and even exchanges themselves converting their large portion of stables into BTC).
But dont worry, its just one side of BTC, it will again get stable somewhere and give us another chance to think. Wink Btw, I see ppl complaining more during times of silence by btc lol. You must be excited that btc is moving like this. Easy trades in between.

Not accepting bitcoin? Needs to get moved to altcoin section Wink
144  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase to Suspend Binance USD (BUSD) Trading on: March 14, 2023, 01:58:34 AM
Seems like coinbase have officially removed BUSD pair trading starting today according to their most recent tweet.
So, does this now mean that binance and coinbase are no longer friends and won't support each other in any further crisis in the future ? The crypto space is gonna get divided badly 😅

Btw, Im just curious whom do you guys support if you wanna have stables (just for trading purpose)? USDC or BUSD ? Im pretty confused but I do use binance myself here currently.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is the last chance to exchange stablecoins for Bitcoin on: March 13, 2023, 01:15:25 PM

My benefit came from the small amount I converted from stablecoins to bitcoins. But if I had deposited coins I would not have seen this income.  Bitcoin price is likely to rise a bit moAnd I am very happy to see my benefits.
I am happy for you as well mate. But I suggest you to book some of your gains here (atleast 50-60% so you can have something again to reinvest later) as the market is still unclear about the next FED's commentary. There is an emergency meeting today regarding the silicon valley collapse and JPOW will have a speech as well. Then tomorrow again a new CPI data will be out. Markets could react brutal in both ways. Also, technically 22.8k is a resistance on the 4hr chart (200ma). It wouldnt break it easily if the news isnt on our side. There's a good chance to revisit 20k again before going up imo.

EDIT: Woops, seems like I was brutally wrong about my prediction. It pumped in straight line beyond the resistance lol :/
146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Experience about trading in btc on: March 13, 2023, 12:47:40 PM
most people trade or use bitcoin to buy a house.
Not most people, but the ones who already got a huge capital.

however, you sold it instead.
I think there's also a famous youtuber (who got similar thoughts like the OP), called the bitcoin family guy who sold his house and went all in on bitcoin in the very early days. Now he and his family doesn't work anymore (I guess lol) and yet live a very luxury life. You need a combination of luck, timing and faith to be successfull with these type of risks.

@OP, if you got 2 houses, its definitely worth it Wink What is life without any risk?
147  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting now. on: March 13, 2023, 11:42:12 AM
Trezor would be the best investment you could ever make.
Just to add, Some ppl can't afford to buy a trezor since their investment in crypto itself is much smaller than the cost of trezor. You should recommend other security tips like using paper wallets, never save your seeds online, etc. And once their investment gets larger over time, they can switch to a hardware wallet.
P.S.: I hardly use a hardware wallet for myself, but Im still safe coz I know what precautions to take Wink

My Countdown to ___Member Rank
Number of Merit(s) left: 02

If everyone would have supported me a little I would have reached my new milestone.I only need two merits to reach the next rank.
Congrats on your new rank up mate. With the help of lizarder, you are now a member of the forum. Wish you a more longer and brighter journey ahead for the upcoming months.

My Countdown to Member Rank
Number of Merit(s) left: 5  4

Thanks guys Smiley
You shouldn't even try to ask for merits with your current forum activity/posting style. Posting only in bounty threads wouldn't help you fetch merits. I wanted to help you out, but stepped back after checking your habit. Try to be active in discussion threads, help others with any technical knowledge you got, then you might earn some merits. Best of luck to you as well!
149  Economy / Speculation / Re: The SVB failure will help BTC alot. on: March 13, 2023, 05:27:08 AM
Becuase people will realise you can't do a run on BTC as it is provably 100% backed. As more banks fail, if they do, the people in the queues and thier freinds and the media are going to realise you can always transfer your BTC.

Fiat does not look so "stable" vs btc when fiat can effectively go to zero overnight, becuase your bank failed.

You're absolutely right. Also the failure of SVB and collapse of few companies would force ppl to convert their assets into BTC. The USDC collapse was also shocking along with SVB (although short lived) and CZ said he is converting most of his stables into BTC, ETH for safety in his most recent tweet.
Lets see if the current situation could trigger a bull run. The panic dump is most likely over imo.

It's good news that everyone has the opportunity to raise their sats every time people fear just because of the news of a big financial institution's failure.
Non-believers will never learn actually. They sold during mtgox collapse, during binance regulation fud, during ftx hack, now during svb collapse. Its gonna be the same story everytime again and again. Only few real ppl who got heavy faith (like us), gonna make it.
150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we get the fed pivot right now? on: March 12, 2023, 02:51:54 AM
If the fed pivots then Crypto and stocks should rally. The hint is in the bond markets. Currently they are rallying like crazy.
I think the most recent dump started after Powell's speech just a few days ago about interest rates. He still believes that the fed will keep raising rates this whole year. The crash was maybe further catalysed by the USDC collapse ?! Seems like its not about the fed's action which moves the markets, but its only about their commentary where people react the most. They should pivot soon anyway as the economy keeps tanking which was their main mission.
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else agree that mtgox payout is keeping bitcoin down? on: March 11, 2023, 01:49:11 AM
And once again mtgox changed the date as expected lol.
"Mt Gox registration deadline pushed from March 10th to April 6, distribution deadline pushed to October 31st". However, the price still fell under 20k even after no big bad news. Feels like the market reacts more to the commentary of the fed rather than its real actions.
Side note: Added more to my btc holding position right under 20k. No stress at all Wink
152  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 05-Mar-23] on: March 06, 2023, 01:28:38 PM

153  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Best and Secure HWW ( Hardwarewallet ) on: March 06, 2023, 01:03:51 PM
I would stay away from Ledger they leaked customers data but they continue to advertise and generate data. Trezor and Passport are probably the most secure because they have secure elements and are available world wide. I do not like some parts of trezor because they have tried to diversify and include a exchange and shit coins but the security of the wallet is good and better then most other wallets.
Yeah, considering the past activities we can say that trezor has quite good advantages over ledger in terms of privacy. However, one who travels a lot might opt for ledger as it offers mobile application, i.e., ease of connection on the go via bluetooth service (on nano x), etc. In case of trezor, you have to carry a USB cable everytime for connection.
It depends on what type of user you really are otherwise both are good imo.
154  Economy / Reputation / Re: I've been hacked (Electrum 4.3.2) on: March 06, 2023, 06:31:28 AM
All of julerz12's debts have been paid off.
WOW! Glad to hear this. Your dedication towards your work and patience really paid off julerz12. Salute you for making a comeback and not giving up Wink Your reputation should become more stronger than before after overcoming from this tragedy.
So, now only Yom!x remains!!
155  Economy / Gambling / Re: I got frusted please help? on: March 06, 2023, 06:25:06 AM
As little mouse suggested, you gotta have some wagering requirements everywhere. Also, what do you mean by no
min. deposit requirement? How would you play with no deposit ?
Also, I'd suggest you to post a list of all casinos that you've already tried so you dont get repeated recommendations from the ppl.
As for me, I would say try stake.com (min. withdrawal limit is 2.5 usdt)
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else agree that mtgox payout is keeping bitcoin down? on: March 06, 2023, 06:10:38 AM
Even I felt weird for a while with the current dump in BTC price (from 23k to just under 22k) because the US markets didnt fell with us this time. Could be due to mtgox related fear but this release will not happen this year I can almost guarentee that although nothing is certain. SPX already crossed well above 4000 again so btc will again catch up in a few days (judging by the negative funding rates = short squeeze incoming).

158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I dont predict btc price here just scheme how instutions and whales do it on: March 03, 2023, 06:14:17 AM
Your idea was great it can be true but that is just speculation it would be great if you share your chart with us ?  Smiley

and Speak of the devil the bitcoin just crashed from the week's peak point of 25K to 22K today. More buying opportunities?

Thats a higher low in your chart. I would blindly buy it here keeping a stoploss at 21.2k . (just beneath the previous low).
I had a buddy who had a trading method like this that he used to trade stocks. He called it a strategy but to me it seemed all he was doing was more or less just guessing.

He was correct for a while, it was like intuition until he became bearish because he expected a double dip recession and ended up losing all his account balance shorting.
You're right there. Almost every strategy involved in trading is a pure guess. I have seen many ppl come up with their strategies like the OP, and they ended up getting failed after working for a while. The key factor here is how fast can you shift your mindset with a rapid moving dynamic market. Sticking with one strategy fails in the end, need to keep changing (which is most difficult part for most of us humans).
159  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Withdrawal small amount of BTC from Binance on: March 02, 2023, 01:48:33 PM
I see a lot of people suggesting Binance's P2P but I don't think that would help. This probably depends on the payment method you want to withdraw to, but from what I've seen, most users are not willing to trade for such low amounts (as you can see in the limit/available column).
Depends on the country, some asian countries (like India) even got 5-6$ minimum payment limit using reputable p2p  traders in binance.

I want to say thank you for the suggestions.

I ended up converting to USDT and then sold the USDT as euro to my debit card and everything is fine.

BTW it wasn't about the amount of money it was just a waste to sit at forgotten account for anyone wondering.
Glad to see things worked out for you finally. You should consider locking the thread since your problem is solved now.
