Theymos has said that he probably won't ever reinstate a newbie jail so it's almost certainly not going to happen. Doing so would just make those users spam the newbie jail instead and restricts all the other genuine users. In the past I've suggested that all new users are essentially shadowbanned until mod-approved so at least this would stop a lot of the bots but I think there are other ways we can deal with spam that we should look at as well rather than blanket restrictions over everyone.

I didn't know copy paste of my own post is against the rules. I admit that might be taken as spamming but if this is one post out of 200 then maybe this is not a habit of posting like this every day.
I hope someone will review at least and give another chance. I think this is not to big failure to get banned.

I have no idea how he spots them but he does a good job. This kind of thing could be a business opportunity just like the new recovery process. Specially if he is able to identify copy and past that are translation of articles in another language. The person who is reporting them should probably just be made a mod and I've suggested so in the past. Seems silly us having to verify them and handle them all. It's quite time consuming. |

From the reports it looks like you posted about Atomic Swaps Exchange in Meta. Doesn't belong there and looks like spam anyway.

The report was for "Wrong section and it is not related to wallet software and crypto." No you can not without asking. This is a major flaw. It should say which mod deleted it in the message. Then you could message them directly. Also mods that are biased get to hide away deleting on topic relevant messages and you can not prove it is them that is doing it because they will never admit it even if you ask in public.
It's like that for good reason because mods would be spammed to death with why u remove mah post 24/7. My name is on several sub boards and it's ridiculous the amount of messages I get asking why I deleted their post or banned them because people automatically assume it was me who was responsible when the vast majority of times it wasn't and I have no idea what they're even talking about. If it stated who did what then mods would just be hassled even more. We just noticed our thread was deleted and there was not even a message about it either. Just vanished. Who is we? You and your split personality? |

Is it that an odd to use something that was made 2017 against me now? I know I made some mistakes way back but it's unfair to use that now after almost 2 years. why now? Isn't that a blackmail?
I've done so many great things on this forum over the years that should be enough to make it even, I don't believe what I did 2 years ago should be used to destroy my reputation now. I think someone very powerful is behind this.

I don't know the date. You'd have to ask an admin about that. Contact them and see if they'll change it to a sig ban instead which is sometimes given. |
