On the gigamine website I can see 96.2g/hash at http://gigamining.com/mgpumon/ and 17.6 ghash at http://wa.gigamining.com:81/mgpumon/.

Can we see the other 86.2 gHash anywhere?

Thanks

There is more equipment hosted elsewhere, but does not have bamt installed so there are no nice monitoring pages.

Congrats to BFL.

They couldn't have possibly hire a better person to resolve the current issues and suspicions that people are having. Anyone who mines at eclipse knows Inaba and the service and dedication he provides for the miners of his pool. The transparency he offers attest to his honesty and you will find none other like it anywhere else. Integrity and willingness to go above and beyond wat is ask or expected every time. Time and time again he never fails to impress.

For those that don't aren't familiar with him, you will soon see. Keep up the good work man in all that you do.

Good luck on the step your taking

Agreed 100%.

So with 150Ghash he has 1% of the whole network, that is crazy Smiley

He's a little under 1.2%.  Shocked

Damn no bites.

Yes I did mis-read.

1. Giga does indeed seem to be shilling hard for Pirate and claiming to have met etc etc. I had questions about his honesty due to relations with BFL. Now he endorses pirates obvious ponzi scheme and mocks anyone for doubting such an obvious scheme - I have no doubt Giga is directly involved in the long con (or is trusting idiot with to much money).
2. He still cannot verify pirate (hey look a photo).
3. No argument.

Since I am "shilling hard for Pirate" I will quote what I said in the only other thread talking about meeting up in Vegas (and specifically not going to Defcon).

It seems that many of the posts since my "I've seen a pirate post" claim that I am somehow lying or misleading people on the forums. Here is the simple truth.

I brought my brother-in-law to Vegas to hang out and meet some people related to bitcoin. We've had the opportunity to meet pirateat40, reeses, Goat, copumpkin, pidgeons, Coinabul, Partrick from Intersango, OneFixt and his girlfriend, BurtW and Scared. I've probably missed a few people in the list.

I must say, meeting all of these people has been a pretty awesome experience. Pirate is a nice guy and we had a great time playing craps (BurtW taught pirate, Goat and I how to pay), roulette and 3 card poker. I also got to spend some time in the poker room with OneFixt. We've eaten dinner together, talked bitcoin and it's future and played some games in the casino.

Does this make me an expert in what pirate does? No.

For all of you that claim that because I've met pirateat40 I am now somehow responsible for his actions, well, you're logic is flawed.
1407  Other / Off-topic / Re: Las Vegas / Defcon July 27th weekend on: August 01, 2012, 04:14:39 AM
Amazing isnt it - Also Giga VPS who was BFL's big shill in the early days now shills for Pirate.....
Then we have the multi trillion air that flew to BFL to reassure everyone (ask me anything, LOL SORRY CANT ANSWER ANYTHING YOUR FUCKING DUMB FOR NOT SPENDING MORE WITH BFL).

I'll bet you didnt meet any of the well known forum shills, ie Giga.

mem,

Maybe you should look through my post history to get a clue about what you are saying.

Regards,
gigavps

I'd just like to say I'm calling bullshit on the pirate photo. Here's the list of people I met during Defcon, and none of them are in that picture. I find it hard to believe that none of the people I met can identify anyone in those photos from our offline discussions - or I haven't see a post from them confirming it. If you're on this list below and spoke with anyone at defcon in that picture, speak up and correct me.

  • SethSethSeth
  • AndrewBitcoiner
  • Teflon
  • eCrash (teflon's friend)
  • Mike Caldwell
  • BitBlitz ?
  • Alexmat
  • Elliot (asian guy from LA)
  • The anti-forensics speaker dude

Hi Tuxavant,

I never claimed to be going to defcon. I have said this multiple times. I sure you met coingenuity (coinabul) and phantomcircuit who can verify that I was in Vegas along with others in the photo.

I'm not sure what your problem is.

Regards,
gigavps

Its strange how you missed inviting who I consider the one person in the bitcoin community doing more for mass adoption than all of you combined..

Im in awe of Tuxavants dedication to Bitcoin..  and I applaud him...

Almost nobody, including yourself, contacted me about meeting up in Vegas. I posted in this thread early on that I would be there.

How do you figure that it is my job to invite people?
1410  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Look at a pirate, eye to eye if you dare. on: August 01, 2012, 03:19:18 AM
We actually met up with Tuxavant, Coingenuity and Patrick from Intersango on Sunday afternoon at the MGM Grand poker room.

Sorry we missed you sethsethseth.

Wat? Oh no you di'nt! I was at Defcon all day with my talk and challenge. Now lets hear how you confused my name with someone else. This will be ripe.

O whoops, must of been someone else who's IRC handle started with a T. I was a little busy playing poker in the poker room. Go figure.

It was tuxblackedo who came with the other two to the poker room. I have corrected my original post. I knew it was "Tux" something.  Tongue

The only bad thing here is that photo full of poindexters is making all the money. Notice the only one traveling with a female is the guy on the left that looks like Andy Gibbs daughter. I don’t begrudge any of them the money now. They need it to get laid!

Well, I don't know about you, but I'm not sure a smoke filled casino is the place for my 5 month old to hang out.

Otherwise, I would definitely have brought my wife with me. :p

Just letting everyone know that I was hanging out with Tuxavant, Casascius, Andrew Bitcoiner, and a bunch of other forum people for most of the weekend at DEFCON and never saw any of the folks in that picture.

We actually met up with Tuxavant tuxblackedo, Coingenuity and Patrick from Intersango on Sunday afternoon at the MGM Grand poker room.

Sorry we missed you sethsethseth.

Edit: I corrected who came to visit us above. Sorry for the confusion.

Shooped. You heard it here first, folks. Grin

O jeez. Maybe pirate is really the love child of George H. Bush and Margaret Thatcher.  Tongue

Thanks to all of you that came and sorry I couldn't spend more time with everyone.  I know a few of you were there and didn't get a chance to meet you.

Here is everyone that showed up.

We will do it again!!!

Uh oh. Now there is a picture of me and a bunch of other people with pirate.

Does this prove that maybe we should all take off our tin foil hats for a minute?  Roll Eyes

My money is on Pirate being the woman.
If pirate is there, my money is on pirate being the photographer.

I will take that bet:)

I can already tell you that you have lost the bet because my bro-in-law was taking the photos.  Tongue
1417  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Look at a pirate, eye to eye if you dare. on: July 30, 2012, 04:42:57 PM
Consider how this appears from those outside looking in.  Some of the biggest names in Bitcoin meet with the 'biggest dog' (known, that is) in Bitcoin.  Yet, after this meeting, not much at all is said.

Thanks for your post. I can appreciate you being open and honest about your desire for me to confirm or deny facts. Consider my point of view though. I would like to think that I have a pretty good reputation on the forums because I have always tried to be helpful, share information and be respectful (most of the time). I hope I have earned this respect / trust over the last year and I would like to think that it is worth something.

That said, all of pirate's detractors here on the forums are on a witch hunt. If I confirm or deny ANYTHING, they will twist what I say to fit their point of view and keep the flame war going. So, I am in the unenviable position of "damned if I do, damned if I don't". The hostile environment created here is not conducive to sharing information in a way that is either helpful or respectful.

I have confirmed along with others on the forums that pirateat40 showed up and we had a good time.

You guys are so ridiculous sometimes.

I've dared to looked at a pirate, eye to eye, and I can say that I'm happy that I did.
