Just look back some posts & pages, anyone will clearly know what happened who sent claims, certificates, documents....

WHY THE HELL I NEED TO SEND MY PERSONAL DETAILS, WHICH YOU DIDNT ASKED, WHEN I BOUGHT GIGAVPS MINING SHARES?
WHY THE HELL I NEED TO TRUST YOU & SEND MY PERSONAL DETAILS, GIGAVPS, WHEN YOU ALREADY CHEATED ME?
HOW MANY TIMES YOU FURTHER WANT TO CHEAT ME?
HOW MANY TIMES YOU WANT TO CHEAT INVESTORS?

Hi dishwara,

Otoh has been paid all back payments owed. Naelr is still in the process and should be taken care of as soon as he gets me some documentation.

Have things gone perfectly with the claims process? NO.
Have there been delays in paperwork being processed? YES.

Getting mad and screaming through your keyboard isn't going to change anything. I have laid out a clear path for Gigaminers to claim and continue with Gigamining/Teramining. Plently of people have claimed and have been paid so it is now impossible to make statements that I am not paying out claims as they come in. This can also be proven with block chain transactions should the need arise.

Please follow the claims process and you will be paid.

Best,
James

How many days or what further me & others have to loose, so that gigavps called as SCAMMER & blocked from stealing other peoples hard earned money from this Bitcoins forum?

Hi dishwara,

Please follow the directions at the link below to file a claim and to be paid.

764  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Chrome extension update seems fishy? on: March 03, 2013, 01:11:24 AM
I would save the crx file and rename that from crx to zip, then look at the source code, and see why it needs it. Does look a little fishy thou

I'm in the bitcoin minority. I don't know anything about code.

Post a link to the extension and I'll take a look.

@Friedcat:
A suggestion: could you start an official Asicminer announcement thread, where you have few people giving accurate info... this is getting awfully cluttered.

+1
I'm watching this thread solely to see the progress on ASICMINER.

To go through all this ramblings every time to look if there is an Update is really annoying.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=49840;sa=showPosts

That link is the only page you *need* to watch for updates.
767  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: February 26, 2013, 04:46:38 PM
I've now had my claim accepted & was very promptly paid the back interest from Gigamining, I've now invested that plus enough more to upgrade all my shares to Teramining so will be watching the shipping forecast from BFL with much interest now, anyway I'm glad to be supporting bitcoin mining & the network going forward in to the ASIC age & thank Giga for getting this all sorted out.

You are welcome.
768  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: February 26, 2013, 01:58:44 PM
Why would solo mining increase the risk of the ASIC chips going offline? In fact, it increases it, because if either the miners or the mining pool fails, there's going to be no blocks solved. Hopefully there's a "Plan B" in case this mining pool goes down for some reason. And it can happen.

The cgminer GBT implementation does not work directly with bitcoind. Getwork is not an option. If you are running 6-12Th, your only options are to build your own pool using stratum/GBT or use an existing pool.

Building a pool is not easy and take a few weeks to a month to get right depending on your programming chops.
769  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: February 26, 2013, 12:58:33 PM
That is... Disappointing. I guess there is a benefit for a major network hasher and highest share producer by an order of magnitude to not use pplns

I'm not sure this is disappointing at first glance. While bitcoin mining over time will tend to 100%, reality is that a large solo mining organization could go months running well under 100% PPS. Paying a 5% fee with as much hashing power as they have looks like a good short term strategy to make sure they are making the most btc possible. Also, if BTCGuild is one of the better pools as far a stability is concerned, this is one less thing for Friedcat to worry about during these few short weeks/months of extreme profits.
770  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: February 26, 2013, 02:21:19 AM
They have absolutely no reason to do PPS, so PPLNS is certainly the right guess. Nonetheless, just because of the variance of solo (the calculation above) to PPLNS/PPS kinda makes that question somewhat irrelevant to the estimate. But yeah would be nice to know anyways.

https://www.btcguild.com/pplns_shift_detail.php?shift=2594

According to btcguild's shift pages, user id 67117 is not on the pplns shift list so they are bundled into PPS.
771  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Should Giga be tagged as a scammer? on: February 25, 2013, 08:17:43 PM
I bought 300 freaking shares directly from giga for 1.5 btc each. He refuses to continue business with me under the terms we both agreed on.
Instead of reverting the deal by paying my money back (450 - paid out dividens) he keeps my money hostage. He doesn't need my ID and stuff to revert the deal. He's the one who refuses to continue business.

Now tell me exactly how this is not scamming.

No I don't want to file a claim, I want my dividends paid out or my money back.

Please submit a claim and you will be paid.

GLBSE is not around specifically because of AML/KYC issues surrounding their activities. In order to continue, VPS must know who it is dealing with.

No payments can be made without a claim whether they be refunds or back payments.
772  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: February 25, 2013, 02:18:20 PM
Hmmm.., isn't there possibility to let someone claim them for you, just empty and give him you wallet redirect some emails, that is pretty all you need to do?

Your claim request did not include everything that is required. Please read through the posts at the link below and follow the directions.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=127437.0

Just because you want to upgrade to Teramining does not mean you should not follow the directions given.

Please send through the proper paperwork and your claim will be processed, verified and paid.

Best,
James

Is there any way to sell my Gigamining Bonds if someone is willing to buy them?

No.

Is there any advantage in doing the upgrade now instead of after your hardware arrived?

Not any longer.
774  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: February 25, 2013, 01:34:44 PM
On the 9th of Feb, 16 days ago, I sent to Quintin & James my apostilled affidavit claim plus a apostille of my passport (as an extra - in all it ended up costing me well over $150) & asked for it's receipt to be acknowledged to me so that I could know it was being processed because I have never once had one single reply from Quintin as yet to any of my emails & questions, when this didn't happen I wrote to James a few times to chase this up & he has been very prompt at replying & agreed to include me in the early ASIC mining group as I have my claim pending since before that was announced & have stated my desire to make the paid upgrade from the beginning, I don't know why James can't just process this himself but anyway I really hope that it may finally get to be done this Tuesday, the 26th, so it can be wrapped up before BFL hopefully start shipping ASICs in early March.

Hi Otoh,

I have asked Quentin to double check with his office regarding your claim and a few others. I will be getting in touch with Quentin this morning to review what happened with the check on Friday.

If you would like to scan your documents and send them to me directly, I will be happy to review and process the claim today.

Best,
James
775  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: February 25, 2013, 12:34:10 PM
Ok, but those who do their upgrade now, will get the same as the people that wait for the chips to arrive, less  their gigamining profits, right? So it is defenitely not recommended to do the upgrade now, right?

Also who does or did the upgrade, looses all rights to gigamining and runs the risk that ASCI Chips will never arrive and he looses everything. Right?

Hi bixcoin,

You can do whatever you like. Monday payments have gone out so you should have received all of your back payments and today's payment.

Best,
James
776  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: February 24, 2013, 04:53:44 PM
I'm still non the wiser on a partial upgrade.
Is it all or nothing?

Thanks.

Hi Lucidize,

I sent you am PM on the forums here asking you to email me what you wanted to do. I don't mind partial upgrades, but it is not programmed into the VPS site at this time so I will require a bit a manual intervention.

Best,
James
777  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: February 23, 2013, 10:26:42 PM
So do I get this right that by your contract, early Teraminers get penalized by being excluded from their Gigamining Profits, while others that wait until you actually have received your equipment will gain Gigamining till that day and are then free to upgrade?

No. Those who have turned in their Gigamining contracts before Feb 15th, 2013 will start mining with me as soon as I have the equipment up and running. Those who wait, will be able to upgrade but will follow the letter of the contract.

In essence, the bonuses for turning Gigamining in early is much greater than waiting as the most profitable time to mine with this new equipment is when it first turns on.

If anyone has any questions about why there is a claims process at all, you can read about it at the link below.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=127437.msg1378555#msg1378555

VPS has proven to pay those who claim.

I ask everyone who owns Gigamining to submit a claim.

Best,
James

Final request for claims

VPS will keep the claims process open for another three months through May 23, 2013.

To the bitcoin/gigamining community:

Virtual Processing Solutions, LLC (hereinafter VPS) has entered into a number of assignable agreements (sometimes known as “gigamining”), whereby, among its other provisions, in exchange for financial consideration, VPS agreed to conduct electronic data processing services and provide some portion of the outcome of this processing in the form of “bitcoins” to the current beneficial assignees of these agreements.

These agreements were offered and subsequently traded on www.glbse.com.  As you may be aware, www.glbse.com has suspended normal operations.  It is the intention of VPS to comply with its obligations pursuant to these agreements to the extent consistent with U.S., international, and local law.  While VPS is not aware of any current regulatory action involving www.glbse.com or itself, it is clear that trade in “bitcoins” is attracting increased regulatory and taxation scrutiny.  Accordingly, VPS has retained the Law Offices of Carlos M. Fleites, to resolve such outstanding agreements in a lawful manner.

If you believe you are the beneficial assignee of such an agreement, you are requested to contact the Law Offices of Carlos M. Fleites in writing at the below listed e-mail or physical address to provide the following information:

  • The tax identification number of the person or entity claiming beneficial assignment,
  • For real persons: a photocopy or scanned PDF of government issued photo identification, or, for corporations the document number and issuing jurisdiction of the incorporating charter and proof of current good standing.
  • An affidavit attesting to the beneficial assignment of the agreement, which has been notarized (US residents/corporations) or local equivalent bearing the apostille of the competent jurisdiction.  Copies of an acceptable affidavit can be obtained upon request from the law offices.

All information provided will be held in confidence and used only for the purposes of lawfully fulfilling the obligations of the agreements and not shared with outside parties except as required by law.  If you have any questions or concerns, please address these to the law offices at the following e-mail or mailing address.

Finally, since no unique identification exists for outstanding agreements, ALL CURRENT BENEFICIAL ASSIGNEES ARE STRONGLY ADVISED NOT TO ENGAGE IN ANY TRANSFER, SALE, OR ASSIGNMENT OF THESE AGREEMENTS OUTSIDE OF GLBSE, AS IT MAY RENDER IT IMPOSSIBLE TO VERIFY AND SERVICE SUCH AGREEMENTS.

Thank you for your prompt attention in this matter.
