I mine at deepbit - so what. It works so it saves me pissing around and spending my time making other things work. My time is worth something.
If I pay 3% on a couple of coins/day for the last six months that I've been mining (on and off) that's 11 whole coins ($50-$60) - I'm unexcited by that as it's trivial.

I have pm'd him and looked at post history. Might help if they just said so in the OP.

Looks like the expanded version of the formula I posted. Great how games of chance differ from games of skill.

Icarus, the Bitcoin Credit bureau has been discussing the request. We will do blocks of 25 coins at 15% of principal. I will pm confirmation of my sending an additional 25 coins if this is acceptable.

Hi, just to clarify with reference to your pm, you have 100 coin.
How much extra are you after, taking it up to 150 total or a different number.

Active lenders, hero status required? Ok Senior status or greater so we can include Kluge.
I don't know to laugh or cry. But I do appreciate the work you put in. You're on my radar - pm sent. Patrick

Patrick, The WoT is at otc-bitcoin.com http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratings.phpNot necessarily a solution for your purposes, but it could be used as another step in your precautions. I.E. Another, you trust, could verify the KeyID and <nick>. Thanks - I have looked it up occasionally.

Another very old ( non active) user that appeared from nowhere asking for a loan....... be careful
I'm yet to see one of the "inactive account" scams write sooooooo much. A six month payback at current prices sounds about right (+/-50%), but the interest rates might be prohibitive currently.

A few observations: - I don't use IRC or #bitcoin-otc - I don't use linux or the gpg command line command (but I think that's what it is) - I don't really want to understand SHA cryptology, but for some people it helps them feel safe.
Going back to read the other stuff now.

You just signed up, oh, and; whats a britcoin?
Good luck! at least im not dumb enough to get my account compromised You make a compelling argument. Terry has a long history on the forum - he did something a long time ago, but it would be funny to see if his account got hacked here and then asking for loans. Otherwise - watching.

Is there anyone willing to give me a loan of 3 BTC with a small fee? Even though I'm a noobiew?
Why would anyone lend money to people they don't know on the internet is beyond me. And frankly, I can get better rates from Tony Soprano. Actually, PatrickHarnett gave me a loan of 3 BTC with 5% for something like 2 weeks. Some people are willing to trust eventhough they don't know me. The reason he trusted me is also beyond me, but I'm very thankful for that and I'm going to return him the coins (not that I wasn't going to do that). Tony Soprano might collect your fingers, or you could fall off a building"accidentally". I'm not an idiot (my avatar might be, and I'm not that fond of smurfs - too many bones). 3 coins is small for me, and might be large for mmbrefman, but the benefit to him in paying back and getting rep is valuable. They could just sit on the loan for a week and repay (not needing it at all) and that would work. Patrick

I have forwarded the remaining 76 coins required. Repayment will be 83.6 BTC on or before 21 Feb.

***** scam warning *****
In order to cover up a largely inactive account there are a stack of useless posts over the last day. 4th account like this in the last week.

I'll disagree, but that's a point of view.

I have said on pm ad I'll say it here publicly that I don't think it would be good for either of us to do another loan at this point. Further, it is good lending practice to see someone pay off all of their loans before making a new loan.
For loans to people with computers or transfers, that just gives some collateral that we can seek compensation from.
In the "real" world, banks lend money to people who don't need it. If you can't demonstrate you have more than you need, you're shit out of luck.

Looks reasonable. PM me your deposit address and I will provide the repayment details.
edit: coins sent

Quick question, are you making an interest payment along the way?
