And decryption of one message you refer to is given in comments to one of the articles linked in my signature.
Ahh, thank you! How did you decode the first one, inserting 0's where the places to satoshis should be, or was it a different character set/language symbols?

Hello, I was reading the BitInstant article about the Mitt Romney extortion over releasing his taxes, and the address 1HeF89wMjC48bWNgWvVo7Wu3RaLW8XVsE8 ( http://blockchain.info/address/1HeF89wMjC48bWNgWvVo7Wu3RaLW8XVsE8) was revealed as the one that, if it hits $1m worth of Bitcoins first, will keep the tax information safe. I checked out the address, and it would appear someone is sending some message encrypted in binary in transactions to that address, but my (very basic) attempts at decoding it have been unsuccessful. It is possible that when a number doesn't go out to 8 full satoshi's it means there are supposed to be zeroes there, or perhaps the encryption is to a different character set. Any ideas? Post Note: it appears the other address (for releasing the tax info) is also receiving some sort of message... http://blockchain.info/address/12AP6iCwRNFQqKLStH3A4b4hw3SL6RaNgB.

I'm having trouble connecting with cgminer, and apparently I'm not the only one, any ideas? Cgminer says that no pool was found at that address, or something like that.

Awesome, someone's putting my logo to good use

Any thoughts? Why are all my proof-of-work's bad?
That's really weird, have you tried pointing it at NothinG's pool just as a control variable?

Hello! I am selling 7000PPC for 1BTC, anyone interested? If you are a trusted community member I'd be happy to go first. We could also transfer in small amounts (I send you 1000, you send me 1/7BTC multiple times to ensure minimal loss from either party running.

I tried it and had 650 Gh pointed at my pool within minutes. Delivered the full amount, plus some. Question is, at those prices who is buying shares and why? I can just buy BTC from Gox for less. BTW - I couldn't pay USD, only BTC.
If someone wants to pay me 3342 per share, heck lets talk - I got 8 G's
If GPUMax doesn't come through working on a custom pool I'll be PM'ing you.

Well balance only shows blocks that are 520 blocks old or older, do ppcoind getinfo and see if there is anything newmint?
# ppcoind getinfo { "version" : "v0.2.0.0-g09051bd-beta", "protocolversion" : 60002, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 0.00000000, "newmint" : 0.00000000, "stake" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 3647, "moneysupply" : 5569889.13000000, "connections" : 8, "proxy" : "", "ip" : "1.1.1.1", "difficulty" : 3357.31983600, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1346744327, "keypoolsize" : 102, "paytxfee" : 0.01000000, "errors" : "" } Appreciate the assist! Any other ideas? I'm wondering if maybe I should try an older version of ppcoind? I'm no expert, but the ip of 1.1.1.1 looks a bit odd....? Any experts here...

Thanks for that. Sadly, no dice. Still no "yay!" from cpuminer.
What do you mean by a "yay", a connection? cpuminer gives a yay! every once in a while when shares are successfully submitted. He probably means, "yay! block found!" I would be surprised if he mined a block so quickly, but it did happen to me once.
Eh, 18 hrs, 2,000 Mh/s # ppcoind getbalance 0.00000000 Yeah... "quickly". Well balance only shows blocks that are 520 blocks old or older, do ppcoind getinfo and see if there is anything newmint?

About how long do share purchases take to be fulfilled at the normal rate?
Someone at GPUMax has to start them manually, after which it should be pretty quick, you're looking at anywhere from 100-600Ghash/s pointed at the pool of your choice. Thanks! As well, is the ability now there for mining to your own pool/solo, not just going with the main ones that are accepted?

Tried this for litecoin.. only was getting 6.7kh/s on my 7870's.. *unamused*
However, your bitcoin tool worked BEAUTIFULLY. I was never able to get cgminer to work correctly before on my own. What is your BTC address so i can send you a tip?
Yeah, 7xxx series GPUs are HORRIBLE for scrypt at the moment, I think there is some memory bottleneck, but I could be wrong. Glad it worked! Bitcoin address: 1CkcF5mqqzmiDYSkuaFckQDhnPEZEcurZw Thanks
