1401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cyrpto vs Fiat on: August 01, 2016, 12:25:03 PM
I don't know if this thread has been created before, but I would like to know your opinion on Cryptocurrency versus Fiat.

If you could tell me why too. What are the benefit of each?  Smiley

i think it doesn't matter how many more topics about this subject are created and how many people reply to it, nobody will undestand the difference really until they have tried both systems themselves for some time.

obviously we have all used fiat so we don't need more experience there, so i suggest you use bitcoin for real like in going out and buying something with it to feel for yourself what the difference is.
1402  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there ever be another bubble in Bitcoin? on: August 01, 2016, 12:21:33 PM
A bubble, yes, i am sure of that, will it be the same as we saw in 2013?
I am quite sure such a thing will not happen anymore. The markets it totally different then in 2013, more resistances, more users (who will cash out etc.).

don't be so sure. the dotcom bubble was massively larger than any bitcoin bubble and it involved all the top line people everywhere in the world. bubbles happen in the largest markets. bitcoin's freaking tiny.

the reason there hasn't been a bubble in bitcoin since then is because there hasn't been any demand for it ever since 2013. if demand grew faster than people willing to sell it then it's bubble time again and sellers are just as paranoid at missing out as buyers.
How can you say there hasn't been a bubble since 2013? What do you call the price of the last few months,  organic growth?  The truth is with bitcoin you can only call a bubble a bubble in hindsight,  if the price drops back down to $250 this whole period could be classed as a bubble.

a bubble can not keep itself up because it is artificial and more importantly unstable so it will burst not go down slowly.

the bubble at this point was the $780+ and it bursted down to $630-$666 range and has stayed there for well over a month.

and yes if it continued down this path and was at $500 today i could agree that this was a bubble, but it doesn't seem to be one.
1403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: August 01, 2016, 12:17:38 PM
well, yes. but i can't get your point here.
these are all obvious things that you need in trading. and everybody who has make a single trade or even have watched a market history knows that this is a hard job but not completely unpredictable.

if it was totally unpredictable then all these traders who are earning a living would be considered gamblers and they could never make any money. they are predicting the market so that to earn money.
1404  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skills vs Luck *poll* on: August 01, 2016, 12:12:06 PM
buy and hold is luck.
trading is skills, because if you are lucky while trading, your luck wont last forever. these type of traders use to make something like 50% in a samall period of time, and break their account when luck ends.

i agree, but buy and hold can also mean long term investment with analyzing the situation, which has nothing to do with luck but it is more like using your skills to predict the market in a longer period of time.

although i am not denying the effect of luck in every decision that we are making in trading even if we use our skills.
1405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth Classic opened the way for Bitcoin Classic fork on: August 01, 2016, 12:08:05 PM
the only similarity between ethereum classic and bitcoin calassic is the word "classic". and it stops right there.

and if anything, ethereum has proven to everybody that a hard for is a terrible idea which should be avoided at all costs. and as we can see it has driven the price down drastically and also it is causing a lot of fights which will end up destroying the coin for good.
1406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: August 01, 2016, 12:04:29 PM
Not possible with the amount of interest in it.
This is what is fueling all it's success right now.

At this moment I don't think it will dissapear since there is too much money involved.
But in 40 years, sure that's possible.
of course bitcoin will never disappear, whats up with those 40 years? i think that is a really dumb guess because bitcoin in 40 years will be even more popular than right now

i think 40 is just a random number he throw out there because i can't really find anything happening in the year 2056 (which is 40 years from now). and yeah bitcoin can disappear but in a very longer time and only if in the future there is a brand new technology that can make bitcoin obsolete, there is no other way.
1407  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Changed my life has it changed yours? on: August 01, 2016, 12:00:44 PM
i am very happy that there is a thing like bitcoun in my life becuase it gives me money about 50$ per month which is not much less or not much more . but it is more for me against that we have nothing .
thank you nakamoto

i am glad for you but you should really consider doing some more real job in the real world instead of only staying behind your computer and doing micro jobs with micro payments. if you get yourself a real world job you would stop being poor and start earning real money.
1408  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I earn much bitcoin? on: July 31, 2016, 03:00:28 PM
Ya might get bitcoin on the signature campaign and then use it to trade will get more bitcoin. But for trade to be studied in detail so that it can benefit a lot. It would be more effective and I think easy to do.

I don't think trading is an easy thing to do. I just recently entered the game and immediately lost several dollars after buying a shitcoin which went dead two hours later. You should really know what you are doing if you want to make money with trading.

sorry to hear that.
but what did you expect? did you think you could just waltz in and start filling your pockets with thousands of dollars easy money. no my friend you have to lose money, and take hits to learn things and then make profit.

even in a new job you don't start making money right away, they first give you an internship without pay then you learn slowly, and after a while you start making money.
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Soon Back To Sub 1 Dollar on: July 31, 2016, 02:55:35 PM
Hopefully eth price does drop further and ETC goes up to where ETH is at at the moment.  I think soon enough both are destined to fail but at least hopefully i can squeeze the last bit of profit out of it that i can.

i agree, ethereum still has some life left in it so it is not going to die this soon and will continue to stay up but the massive drop will happen eventually. also for now it seems like the most attention is on ETC but it is too risky at the same time.
1410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Putting money in lottery is gambling too? on: July 31, 2016, 02:48:49 PM
it seems like in this board people are making the same topic over and over again, and only the name of the game is chaning.
all the topics are like this putting money in blank is or is not gambling.

and the answer to all of them are the same, it doesn't matter what you are putting your money in, as long as you are taking a risk against the odds and risk is involved you are gambling.
1411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: July 31, 2016, 02:43:05 PM
Worse mistake i make when gambling is drinking, never drink and gamble because it's a recipe for disaster.
When drunk and gambling you're much more inclined to say those bad words "let it ride"

gambling while drinking is one of the worse mistake ever, I saw a drunk gamble on a very reputable site he lost very big amount so quickly and next day he start crying when he got his sense, so it very true never gamble when you drunk.

haha, why did you think in all the casinos (the offline physical casinos) there is alcohol being served! that is because it is beneficial for the house if their players are out of their mind drunk and lose their money in their house so they can earn even more both by selling alcohol to them and also taking the rest of their money Wink
1412  Economy / Speculation / Re: We'll be at 10,000+ by 2026 on: July 31, 2016, 02:38:21 PM
That price is very high and i think i cant imagine right now that the price of bitcoin will hit at that price..
I think the price of bitcoin can be in the future 2026 is 5k value or below..

Yeah we already got a very high price for bitcoin. And I don't see it happening it just to 10.000 in 9 years. My idea about the price of bitcoin is that it is limited.
At max i see the price some day would reach 5000 dollar. From there a period of stability will come, just like we have in traditional currencies.

$10000 is just 16 times of the current bitcoin price. If the price of bitcoin double every year, it will just take 4 years.

The chance that the price will double in just one years is minimal. The chance of that happening 4 times in a row is near impossible.
we will never know what will happen in bitcoin in every year. I think it's really going to happen if in one year bitcoin prices continue to rise to the height. if bitcoin really have such a high price in the year 2026, I think bitcoin is something very important and very luxurious at the time, and I'm sure it would be money that has the highest value.

10,000 USD pre BTC is one of thsoe numbers that has been around for a very long time ever since the price went to the moon the first time (the big pump of $1200) and ever since i was using bitcoin i can't really wrap my hear around this number and think of any possible way at all that bitcoin can reach it even in 2026 or any more time in the future.
1413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prize is dropping? on: July 31, 2016, 02:34:38 PM
it is a process that every other market goes through it, maybe longer in bitcoin. the price goes down because of some dumps and news to test the bottom and check to see how ready the but support is, in order to let the price shoot to the moon afterwards.
so prepare for a jump back and some more possible down trends like this and then a big rise.
1414  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Batch Payments on: July 31, 2016, 02:30:40 PM
Do you mean a batch job or cron job which sends payments every month to a particular address for example?

If so, as far as I know there is not such a service yet. But it is not hard to program, if you urgently need it.

because of this
Quote
I would like to be able to pay my suppliers by uploading a file with say account/btc address/amount from my accounts system.

i think OP means Pay to Many feature in a wallet, and he wants to make a payment to many recepients by doing this, kind of similar to what signature campaigns do.

and this feature (with the name i said) is available in all the wallets that i have checked so far.
1415  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: July 31, 2016, 02:27:11 PM
yes bitcoin will be get more powerful in 2017 because maximum people get awareness about the benefits of bitcoin.

I agree with you that bitcoin is going to be powerful by that time and for sure there are a lot of investors that are going to be interested with bitcoin.
Just like what happened this year that everything went smooth with bitcoin and good things did happened for this year.
And so it is for next year.

you have to understand that this is a slow process with a lot of obstacles in its way. so the adoption will take a longer time than normal because for example the media is preading some lies to show bitcoin as a bad thing, the government is sometimes setting up some rules for using or not using bitcoin which makes it always harder especially for the businesses.
1416  Other / Archival / Re: What would you say to people who advice you to sell all your bitcoin? on: July 31, 2016, 02:23:01 PM
i never take advice from random people on the internet so, i don't even listen to them in the first place.

even if i read any of their topic that would only be because i am looking for a good laugh.
1417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Odds of finding a fellow bitcoiner. on: July 29, 2016, 03:48:20 AM
Just today, I was on the bus and I was fiddling with my OTG cable to send a transaction on my phone with my Ledger wallet. I looked to my right, and what where the odds? The guy next to me was doing the same! We started talking, and we just kept talking!

What are the odds of you meeting a bitcoiner IRL?

P.s. I was not taking into the window.

this is wonderful, it had to feel good.
but sadly in my country i think the chance of that happening is nearly zero because so few people even know about bitcoin. let alone use bitcoin hardware wallet. and those few who know bitcoin, know it as an "account" on blockchain.info which is really wierd.
1418  Economy / Economics / Re: How can i make earnings from my site without google adsense ? on: July 29, 2016, 03:44:09 AM
Hello every one this is my website - bitcoinlovers.com
Sadly this site was not approved by google adsense.I made some articles there but i though after it get the adsense approval then i will keep writing more articles but now what to do.
Is there any other way so that i can make earning from my site instead of google adsense.

from what i see your website is brand new with only a coupld of articles and no traffic at all. google adsense is one of the best advertising networks with higheset payments so they are so choosy about whom they accept.

you should improve your website first by writing original articles and not copy and paste. and also generate some traffic over time then they will accept you.

meanwhile you can use a-ads for a tiny earning with bitcoin. and the rest like coinmedia will also check your rank and reject you if you have a low rank.
1419  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much drop this weekend, July 29 thru August 1? on: July 29, 2016, 03:39:26 AM
We all know a drop is incoming. The only question is how much? I'm thinking a drop to $640, by end of August 1. What do you think?

no. actually the real question is, who is this "we" you are talking about because nobody knows or even thinks price can go down.

unless you call $2-$4 a drop there is nothing different in the market to indicate any kind of drop.

so you are either dellusional or desperate for cheaper coins.
1420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I buy: BTC or ETC? These are the big questions. on: July 29, 2016, 03:29:24 AM
What should I buy: BTC or ETC?

what should you buy now?
ETC

why?
because it is being pumped, and there is a huge profit to be made here.

what should you buy later?
Bitcoin. because ethereum classic or no classic is just a pump and dump coin with no future especially since the developer is incompetant.
but bitcoin's future is a sure thing, and it has already been proven to be successful and growing.
