481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Pump-dump groups? on: July 07, 2017, 09:41:26 AM
I don't interesting about pump-dump groups, they will not gives maximal profit for me because in trading
the groups of pump-dump is not part of strategy of trading,
the groups will not gives sign when the price will goes up and down, i am sure they will do pump or down
depend on the analisys technical or fundamental that be made by them.

they don't give you ANY profit not maximal!
and they are not even traders, they are scammers who are looking for a way to make more money and from what i have seen so far none of them have any information about trading, specially not technical and fundamental analysis.
they just pick a coin randomely based on its volume and then buy, after that they tell the group to buy their sell orders and dump on the group.
482  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 06, 2017, 12:47:07 PM
Even the blind can see that crypto Currency is making people millionaires all  over the world

no it is not.
how many people do you think held their coins when price was dropping from $220 to $180 and how many do you think bought that day, and how many of those do you think dumped when price was $450 and it dropped hard. or all the other panic FUD daram that led to panic sells.
how many do you think will dump in the coming month of August, and how many do you think will hold and buy more.

it doesn't matter that you heard a coupld of stories about someone getting rich. there is always only a handful of people who don't listen to anything and keep holding for the real long term profit.

and this is just the start. we have started the mainstream mass adoption for less than 6 months and price rise is just getting warmed up. Wink
483  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Other Alternatives for Earning Bitcoin besides Signature Campaigns? on: July 06, 2017, 05:50:53 AM
Thanks so much for the suggestion. Ive been also looking for additional ways to earn. IT seems the services page might be exactly what i was looking for.

Signature camps, are not bad but you have to be an established member, which sucks if you are just beginning to post but followed the forum for months.

if you have skills you will never find any trouble in making money, and if you don't have skills but are willing to learn some, you still won't have any trouble but it will be slow.

for example you can see many people are doing designs, like logo,... or programming,... or even trading. these all need you to have some "skills" it can be in designing using photoshop or programming in python or it can be skills in being a good trader. and all can be gained with a little bit of effort and time.
484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone ever tried medicine to control impulsive gambling? on: July 06, 2017, 05:20:02 AM
For those into gambling have you ever tried to took some medicine just to control your impulsive gambling?

Like the Magic Bottle?  Cool

wow i think that is only true about some serious cases of gambling addiction and i don't think it would even be effective either. and besides any kind of drug always has so many other side effects.

i have no idea what this "magic bottle" is but there are some medications (needs to be doctors orders/prescribed) for help with compulsive gambling but they seem mostly a "may help" kind of drugs:

485  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer: BTC/USD Price Tracking and Discussion 2.0 (Unmoderated) on: July 06, 2017, 05:10:06 AM

Ha! I would love to see how people falling over each other and fighting for those limited supply of 21M coins  Cheesy

for now nobody will even notice it, there is plenty coins to go around compared to the number of people interested in bitcoin. give it a couple more years, a SegWit activation and all the benefits and additional features coming from it and then the real fights begin.
486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Good Reason to Own Some BTC on: July 06, 2017, 04:57:56 AM
...

If you are traveling and lose your credit card, but in a country that has a reasonably active Bitcoin scene, you can sell some BTC to pay bills while "over there".

This may become an issue for us.

Here is a case for having an online wallet, "travels anywhere".

I think you have not written completely, but what I can understand is that you mean that be it any place, any time and you are out of Fiat you can use Bitcoins. Well it will depend country to country not all have accepted it as of now. Then I hope you have not forgotten the fees, this days I have to put all the transactions on the back burner because of the dam fees, I miss the good old days where there was no fees. Your idea is nice, but currently it's not globally adopted.

i think you haven't really been making any transactions lately or "these days" becuse if you had you could have seen that since the spam attack stopped last week the mempool has been empty and the "good old days" are practically back and the low fee and extremely low fee transactions are also getting confirmed.
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smart contracts on Bitcoin network on: July 05, 2017, 06:49:27 AM
what's the real usage of smart contracts anyways? i am seriously curious about this. because so far i have only seen smart contracts on ethereum and they are all ICO tokens of useless projects one after another.

so for example what RSK is supposed to do? shift all these ICos to bitcoin?!!
488  Economy / Speculation / Re: ...was that the dip ... now the bubble on: July 05, 2017, 06:05:25 AM
(snipped)
Guys like Warren Buffet tend to avoid selling in bear markets.  People acting on emotions often end up losing money because of their fear of losing too much money, even though bear markets seldom last very long.

All bubbles are a bit hazy.  If everyone knew it was a bubble, the bubble wouldn't have happened.  So all you can do is ride it out, and afterwards you can say "oh shit that was a bubble, good thing I bought ages before it" or you can say "phew good thing I didn't sell during those rallies".

However, do be warned that it's very common in bubbles (and the end of bull markets) for there to be a bull trap right after a dip.  It's a return to what you start thinking of as normal, but that doesn't tend to last.

thanks for the addition but i was just giving a general meaning of the terms. of course there are a lot of things at play when it comes to markets and different movements that must be considered, it is never a simple buy now sell now kind of thing.
and i liked the word "encouraged to" buy or sell in their deffinitions which i also used in my comment.
489  Economy / Speculation / Re: WANT TO ASK IF IBITCOIN BEEN DEVALUED TO ZERO ? on: July 05, 2017, 05:52:32 AM
as long as things are normal and nothing changes the price will continue to go up and there is no stopping it, and it will only have dips for correction.

as long as there is no serious drama any drop will also be small with bitcoin drops standard Smiley

if a serious bug is found in bitcoin that can not be fixed then it may drop to zero. but in the past 8 years or so everyone has been trying to find bugs, exploits, attack bitcoin, the hackers hard at work, but they all have been failing.
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would cryptocurrencies benefit or suffer from a global financial crash ? on: July 05, 2017, 05:27:43 AM
i say it depends on the situation of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
for example i don't think right now there are that many new people so happy to invest in bitcoin.
those who knew it before or find out about it in the past 2 months or those who want to use it as a currency will buy it but a newcommer won't because of all the drama.

but under normal circumstances, bitcoin has proven to be a solid investment. because of the demand, the limited supply, the security, and the privacy that it offers which can potentially mean no taxes too.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to create a bitcoin wallet ? on: July 05, 2017, 05:18:49 AM
when starting to use bitcoin it is best if you do some research first and i assure you that basic questions like your question about a wallet have better answers if you search than ask on a forum.
you can read bitcoin.org or that coindesk article or this topic for the details of everything you need to know about wallets.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: removal of taxes on bitcoin and recognition as currency is booming in the world on: July 04, 2017, 07:02:34 AM
You dont get it, by declaring it a currency it gives the government an easier time and a clearer perspective on what to do if they think a BTC user has allegedly broken some laws. This is also just the beginning. BTC as a currency is easier to regulate.

If you think that their government have no way of tracking BTC movements, you are wrong.
How can the movements be tracked? I know that they can check the IP addresses and link the transactions, but lets say if I have Bitcoin on a wallet, I remember the private keys and I travel to another country and use the Bitcoin. I can also have multiple IPs to prevent being tracked, along with using a mixing service to get even more privacy.

People can also send Bitcoin to other parts of the world in relatively large amounts too. Honestly, I am not that clear about this, so feel free to correct me. Smiley

there is no easy way of finding the IP address of you when you send bitcoin. and when you don't run your own bitcoin full node then it becomes impossible to do so.

the only way is to do chain analysis. and that means when you bought bitcoin the first time you submitted your documents and linked your identity with the bitcoin adress you have withdrawan to. and any other transaction you make from that address is traceable.

mixers help though. they make it nearly impossible for any chain analysis to work.
493  Economy / Speculation / Re: ...was that the dip ... now the bubble on: July 04, 2017, 06:47:48 AM
I just noticed about unconfirmed transactions and fees, it seems that the fees suddenly increase from BTC1 for 12K unconfirmed transaction to BTC3 for 11K UT right now. Don't know how could it happen but some global exchanges shows bitcoin price increases as well, maybe bitcoin rally has been started since today because of segwit activation in the next month, hopefully it could break $3000 again.

segwit2x is going to roll forward in advance of bip148 so i wouldnt be surprised if we see a bullmarket in anticipation of 2mb blocks +segwit

I see bull and bear market here and then in every speculation thread, could you please explain me which one means uptrend and which one means downtrend ?

the bull market is in finantial terms when prices are rising and are expected to rise more in the future too. so it is encouraged to buy
and a bear market is somewhat the opposite of that. where prices are falling and it is encouraged to sell

494  Economy / Speculation / Re: If I buy just 5 bitcoin today 2500$, Next 5 years bitcoin will be 15000$ on: July 04, 2017, 06:35:01 AM
If I buy just 5 bitcoin today 2500$, Next 5 years bitcoin will be 15000$

this is the way that I should invest or not?

No it shouldn't be the way to invest in bitcoin.
yes bitcoin price may reach 10K, 15K or even more but you shouldn't only be thinking about how much "fiat" you gain from investing in bitcoin. that is never going to end well. instead learn more about what bitcoin is.

bit coins is a currency not something you put your money in for a short time to get rich. try using bitcoin to buy some stuff, try to learn more and see what it really offers. i assure you that you won't regret it.

and then the profit is just icing on the cake.
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Goldman Sachs says bitcoin could rise another 50% on: July 04, 2017, 06:26:56 AM
i still don't put much value in the articles i read online about bitcoin price. it doesn't matter who writes them. and it doesn't matter if i am agreeing with it or not.

so far all the things that i have seen is mostly biased articles where people try to benefit from if someone follows it. and sometimes i see articles written by very misinformed people not knowing much about this market and trying too hard just to post an article
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Confirmation became really fast, what has happened? on: July 03, 2017, 04:25:21 AM
Indeed lately bitcoin transactions became a little faster. Probably due to the reduced number of people who transaction using bitcoin and prefer transaction using altcoin.

but where do they "transact" these altcoins? from their wallet to exchange and vice versa?
because there is no other altcoin usage. there are some very rare cases, such as gambling sites and some tiny online shops with nearly no customers that accept some of the altcoins such as Dogecoin and Litecoin but that never contributes to any transactions.

for bitcoin apart from people sending from wallt to exchange and vice versa there is always a lot of other usages for purchasing a lot of goods from the internet, digital or physical.
497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big dump, buy the dip on: July 03, 2017, 04:16:48 AM
Hello,

You clearly realised that , we are experiencing a dump. I think it will continue , I would like you though on the lowest bitcoin price in order to buy it.

Share you thougts Smiley

this is mostly a big fluctuation in my opinion. unless we break the $2300 again and enter the $2200 range i won't call it a dump. and the reasons are mostly panic and uncertaintly and the whales always enjoy this.

as for buying i will buy when the "dump" happens meaning the price went below certain levels. but that is only because i have made my purchases for this month and i am maxed out, so i have no worries about missing out on anything.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin about the free world, but not for us in the Middle East! on: July 03, 2017, 03:09:07 AM
i have never used coinbase or localbitcoins or any of the other places to buy bitcoin and i have never paid any ridiculous amount for it either.
the trick is finding the best option around you and contact them. i have found a guy who offered pretty good rates and after sometime since i made a lot of purchases now i get a better deal even. and now i buy bitcoin from him and only trade on exhanges to increase my bitcoin and dump fiat.
499  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Accept BTC / LTC / ETH directly without third party on: July 03, 2017, 02:54:46 AM
sorry i can't help you but i just want to say be careful when accepting ETH tokens, the payment can get stuck and even dissappear after a while. it recently happened due to a network congestion and forced all the exchanges to close down all deposits and withdrawals to prevent further losses.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash is safely scaling to 300+MB while Bitcoin can't even get to 2MB on: July 01, 2017, 06:49:17 AM
no one has ever bothered to do a spam attack (or the pretty word: stress test) dash or any other altcoin.

Are you kidding me? XRP, ETH, and many other coins have suffered spam attack multiple times before.

Bitcoin is special, but not so special as you claimed.

no they have not. maybe someone did a very short period of spam attack as a test for a couple of hours once, but none of them experienced any real spam attack.

and don't confuse a spam attack with a simple increase in number of transactions because price is pumping or dumping and people move their coins in a panic to sell them.
