I can't wait until these ASICs are delivered.

It's not because I want to mine bitcoins, it's just so all these whinging-trolling-all-talk-do-nothings shut the fuck up.

They'll then go back to trolling 4chan and posting CP on 7chan.

I sent an email to these guys and asked if they can mail me this item. This was the reply...
I’m sorry we do not have that socket.  We do have TC-41G

This is B22 base
TC-41G

Kind of a strange reply don't you think?

I found this, for $5.10 + shipping:

http://www.buhl-electric.com/store/p/2427-TC-41A-Bayonet.aspx

Which would appear to be the only one produced, because extensive searching turned up nothing.

They list Australia under the shipping thing, but if you hit "go" to estimate the cost the option to proceed to checkout disappears.

yeah, thats the first one I found.  I get the feeling they don't to Australia.

you could always do this:

And that's the second one I found Tongue.  looks awesome tho

On a serious note, you should probably be careful as to how many amps you draw out of a single socket. I'm fairly certain the lack of bayonet-type splitters is due to their usual use: confined spaces, and portable 12v systems (cars/boats/motorhomes), where drawing too many amps could result in shorts, burnt out electrical components and catastrophic fires.

I plugging in two 9watt LED remote control light bulbs.  not a giant draw  Cheesy

1431  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Difficulty decreasing? on: November 20, 2012, 02:56:09 PM

There is no logical reason to expect the price to go up.

This is how I think it'll go...

block reward halves

miner receives less money

Miner asks for more $$ per bitcoin mined.

Now I don't think the ask price for 1BTC will double right away, but I think that it will trend upwards.

A man can hope and dream can't he?

O.P.
Looks like the difficulty might be going down? I know it's only a drop of 0.8% but could it be the start of something?

Does everyone think this is because everyone is starting to sell their GPUs, in anticipation of 1/2block.

I personally think (hope) that when the block halving happens difficulty will either go down(a lot), or Bitcoin value will double (*crosses fingers*).

either way, I reckon this is how it will go until our ASICs start rocking up.

Looks like they've gone broke.  Which is a shame, used to be able to sell bitcoin at a higher rate than MTgox.

This might explain why it look them nearly 2 weeks to send me my cash.

Anyone else know anything?
1440  Economy / Services / [0.9 BTC BOUNTY] Find me a bayonet light double adapter on: November 18, 2012, 12:07:59 PM
Hey guys!

Basically what I'm looking for is a bayonet plug (B22) double adapter.

I can find plenty of the screw type(pictured above), but none of the one I'm looking for.

What I need you guys is to find out where I can purchase one, with shipping to Australia, and it cannot cost any more than US$15 (including shipping).

I've got 2 remote control LED lights, and I want them both together, and I can control both with the 1 remote.

I don't want any extra adapters (like 2x bayonet to screw + screw to bayonet)

Here is an ebay search of what I have 2 of...
http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_nkw=b22+led+remote+rgb+-27+-mr16+-gu10&_sacat=0&_odkw=b22+led+remote+rgb&LH_BIN=1&_sop=15&_osacat=0&_from=R40&LH_PrefLoc=2

GOOD LUCK!
