So what about our phenix coins at catpool.co?

Should we inout adress for phx in account or?

Are you guys getting a major amount of rejects from catpool.co?

15 mins into mining. 0 rejects.

BTW catpool admins, when everyone starts you will get flooded with 16 diff shares. If there is a way to start vardiff at 64, or even 128 I suggest you do it.

Maladante what are your hashrates with 280 and 7970? I assume around 740 for 280, so 730 for 7970? I think you could get the same hashrate at 7970 running 1040/1450.

What is your spec
Post a pic of your mining rig with a dog drawn on the side and I will send more then a few

1st floor: block erupters, asicminer blade and jalapeņo
2nd floor: 3x r9 280
3rd floor: 3x 7970
4th floor: 2x 7990

...

I'm not greedy, don't need the coins, feel free to give them to someone with a smaller rig Wink

That's one mighty shelf. How do you stand all the noise? I run a single HD7990 and that "blow-dryer" is unbearable. Already ordered a water cooling block so I can manage to run it at full power 24/7 without going insane.

Also, what PSU are you using on top for the dual-7990 setup?

I undervolted as much as I could and it got a bit cooler and more silent. But it's still very noisy, so I just got used to it. The good thing is that I'm saving a lot on house heating Wink

The PSUs are aerocool templarius imperator 1150. I'm powering one of the 7990s with one cable from the PSU above and one cable from the PSU below, as the rig below doesn't need as much. Then I always have to power up the 7990 rig after the 7970 one.

Are your 280x voltage locked? Already tried msi and gigabyte, nasty voltage lock with 1,2V. using a lot of wattage...

And its pain in the ass that 280x do the same job at 1020/1500 as 7970 at 1000/1450. Next revision my ass...

It's all sapphire cards, not voltage locked. The whole rig runs at around 3200 watt. I use the same settings for both 7970 and 280x models, 1040/1500, and get barely 10 kH/s more on each 280x.

Have a look at this BIOS undervolting guide:

http://www.cryptobadger.com/2013/10/undervolting-in-linux-via-modified-bios/

It went smooth for my sapphires and I think it's supposed to work for any brand.

Thanks for the tip but to undervolt with bios, find the right value, seems to big of an effort. I miss my 7970 rig with unlocked sapphires Wink

Its strange that you get more kh on 280x than on 7970... I had mines 7970 on 1001/1450 for 710kh/s, with a total of 780W. Right now have the same speeds with 280x but 900W... And 280x at 1000/1450 are going like 670kh/s, so thats 40 less with the same clocks Sad

I'm back to Poolerino Smiley
This difficulty is killing us.  130Mhs and no block yet Undecided

Check your minner configuration, see my screen:

I'm using cloud sever with 8 CPUs in total got 5. Must be something wrong with your settings as Im getting more blocks than you and my hash rate is much lower.
My 5 cloud servers cost me in total $10 for 12 hours/$0.238 per hour: http://dogecoin.ga/dogecoin_mining_cloud_servers.htm

Dude seriously, I cant tell if you are trolling or not... You really think your every accept is a block?

Hey,

Just wanted to inform all that I was able to generate wallet address and coins are coming through to cryptsy, no fork.

So 3 days ago it was working and then something crashed. I have ticket with cryptsy, hopefully they are looking into it.

No working pools as of now.

Anyone able to send glx to cryptsy? I imagine that if you had address generated in the past it should work normally. For some reason I cannot generate mine Sad
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Announcing Galaxycoin - GLX, the new PoW/PoS coin, no premine! on: December 16, 2013, 09:46:52 AM
I found a block, but I have no transaction in my wallet. Even though it popped up and said +64.00 Galaxy Coins and my wallet says 1 transaction it just will not show up in my wallet. Is there a way to fix this?

When it happens like this, then its an orphan. you can confirm by oing into debug console from help and type "listtransactions"

I was successfuly mining for whole day, found around 30 blocks, the question is how to sell them... Cryptsy is having a problem generating address for glx, I am afraid we all may be on a fork. One stable damn fork Tongue

Quote from cryptsy:

The market was automatically suspended due to a couple reversals. We will review the reversals to ensure there is nothing wrong with the chain or coin (most likely there is not) and we will reactive it once that review is complete. Your balance will return once the market comes back online. Follow the twitter feed to know when we reactivate the market.

I bought some Grandcoin yesterday on Crypsty and exported it to a paper waller. Today I don't see it even Grandcoin listed on their site. What happened?

Made a ticket about it. Was fine 2 hrs ago. What worries me most is that gdc is gone from balance page :/

someone can explain me how coinchoose calculate a 46000% profitability on CinnamonCoin?? is this a coin we mine H20?

Seems cin difficulty is 32, not 0,18 as coinchoose reports, hence the error.

I have a problem:
https://i.imgur.com/i47whTR.png
No, I didn't type "http://" in front of it. Not when launching from this .bat: "cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333 -u 1Dotjmmhp49ynms2rz95e2ZDBh2GJTpkWw -p x"
or copying that line into cmd and then running it.

Why am I using cgminer 2.7.3? Cuz gpu

Try like that:
cgminer.exe --scrypt -o middlecoin.com:3333 -u 1Dotjmmhp49ynms2rz95e2ZDBh2GJTpkWw -p x

Hello everyone,

I am back to mining with 3 280x. After 2 months break I started with multiport, had many problems with stability but thought they are connected with my hardware not pool itself.

After I ruled out everything that could be wrong with cgminer setup, network and gpu settings I switched to coinotron and stats remain the same but suddenly all my restart and hang problems dissapeared.
Then I tested WDC solo port and no problems as well. Few months back I had the same problem with middlecoin, everytime the pool switched coins there was a chance my whole pc will just crash into oblivion. But at that time multiport solved all my problems. Also wdc solo port reports strange 10min and 1min speed of 1,6khash and 4khash. All speed charts are off the scale for me, varying from 10khash to 40khash...

Bottomline:
Why is multiport causing my cgminer to crash and in some rare cases hang whole pc?
Whats wrong with 1min and 10min speeds when mining solo ports and whats wrong with speed charts overall?

Thanks for any help.

I still cannot mine on eu pool. Either I cant connect or I get stratum disconnect after few secs or just all my cards perform at 600 instead of 700 Mhash. Me an eu pool dont get along Wink

Anyway now US pool is starting to report strange things aswell. Like spamming pool diff change between 64 and 512 8 times in a row or something like:

Json argument invalid, auth failed, null, (while this happen i get getwork failure but happily miner resumes normally.)

The pool shouldn't have anything to do with the hashrate reported by your miner (or are you talking about the hashrate reported by the pool?)

What is the exact URL you're using to connect?

My exact command line:
"--scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool1.us.multipool.us:7777 -u fredeq.1 -p 123 -o stratum+tcp://pool1.eu.multipool.us:7777 -u fredeq.1 -p 123 --intensity 13 --worksize 256 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 -v 1 -g 2"

I have changed US server to have highest priority cause of the problems. After you added few servers to eu lately I switched(to check if its ok on eu), mined for a couple of hours without problems, then some long restarts, then my miner reported 1,8 instead of 2,1Mhash + my earnings dropped from ~0,035 to ~0,021BTC.

I agree that pool should not affect cgminer results but middlecoin was able to hang my whole pc once a day. Issues stopped when I switched to multipool. So there is definately something with those merged pools that can affect client computers. Let me add that I can mine any single EU pool without problems.
