Ouch, hope you get them back.

To anyone disturbed by diff calculations - pools use old algorithm.

1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.5 Released! on: February 13, 2014, 08:25:35 PM
People don't get it.... Multipools are not going anywhere, at the correct price doge is the best coin to mine for long term(Infinite supply)... What multipools gonna do is, they just manipulate the market and adjust the price so that the coin is profitable again.... Beside doge and litecoin, they can't trust anyother coin for longterm earning.... So they will adust the price around 300-350 when the halving occurs and'll keep mining it.... We are not going to lose any hash power...

Quoted! Soon ~1000 diff according to me.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.5 Released! on: February 13, 2014, 01:15:18 PM
May I know why do you start calling names?

Let me explain the price I stated:
For some time we have hovered around 140-160 price and it was stable. When we lift off, it was the start of the doubling. I think everyone is expecting to double the exact price at the time of halving.
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.5 Released! on: February 13, 2014, 12:58:13 PM
845 Blocks left !

Edit : 837 !
what are we expecting when we hit the 100,001 block, will price double Huh will it grow 50%

Few days ago I stated the pump to go 280-320 max.

Difficulty will lower as a result of lower profitability, that is the only thing that will happen Tongue
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sapphire Radeon R9 290 - Thread Concurrency! Cant get it up. Tried everything. on: February 12, 2014, 10:07:08 PM
Hello miners.

I have just installed new 290 miner and I had the same error -61. After some time I figured out that bins in cgminer folder are causing problems but that was not all.

I have copied cgwatcher from my 280x miner and it was messing with the config, so if you have some old watcher or cgminer I suggest you go with clean download to see if problem persists.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ANT • Antimatter • LAUNCH >> 6pm EST << TODAY+ POOLS ADDED on: February 11, 2014, 09:21:03 PM
I wonder why one of the pools is showing the network is at 468 block Wink
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SCRYPT JANE] UltraCoin (UTC) - Newly Launched on: February 11, 2014, 08:29:16 PM
Does cgwatcher work with scrypt-jane? Have not been able to make it work. Keeps asking for url even though it's listed in the pools tab. The miner and config files show in settings but there are no arguments showing. What am I missing?

I run my just fine but with arguments, not conf file
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SCRYPT JANE] UltraCoin (UTC) - Newly Launched on: February 10, 2014, 10:11:05 PM
So is there any possibility of this coin going on Cryptsy?
Seems all other coins go on it really quick except UTC?

@bumface
1. Have you contacted Cryptsy? Any feedbacks?
2. What about BTC-e? Have you talked to them about it?

Please chill we are still young with this coin. If we went on cryptsy right now it would be just big pump and dump.
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SCRYPT JANE] UltraCoin (UTC) - Newly Launched on: February 10, 2014, 05:08:49 PM
Whats all the fuss about 14.1 not working ??   I have 2 rigs running 14.1 and mining perfectly...

And the plot thickens Cheesy
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN: WORLD FIRST COIN MIXING FEATURE] 0.56 HARD FORK UPDATE! [TIPS] FedoraCoin on: February 10, 2014, 10:16:20 AM
I had this plan to first invest in fedora, cash out around 92000 blocks of doge and buy into it. Sadly someone slowed down kgw and halving for fedora which means I first should invest in doge, cash out and buy in here.
Oh well you cna never know Smiley

In other words Doge has all the attention now. People are buying in thinking the price will double when the reward is halved, maybe it will go 280-300.
Bottom line is hold to fedora. When doge hype with halving is over(probably still 5 days) then cash will switch to other coins.
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SCRYPT JANE] UltraCoin (UTC) - Newly Launched on: February 09, 2014, 04:52:17 PM

I am using ultracoin miner as well. Last thing that comes to my mind would be drivers. I have 13.11.
It's not a driver issue. Some cards are better than others. My 7970 does 730kh/s on LTC but only 500kh/s on UTC and I've tried at least 200 different conf. settings.

Its lower on scrypt-jane cause it is supposed to be lower. And how you sure it is not driver issue? scrypt-jane doesnt work on 14 drivers at all...
1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SCRYPT JANE] UltraCoin (UTC) - Newly Launched on: February 09, 2014, 03:31:46 PM
Fredeg this is what i am doing...see anything i can do diferent?

Think I have leetpools connected now but not getting the hashes out of my 280x cards I would like.  Thanks

Getting 570 each with 1050/1500. Btw I never run those setx thignuies and i am good with both scrypt and jane.

I don't know why but ever scrypt config i try doesnt seem to help, i did get the cards to eventually run 500khs each but had to use msi afterburner and clock them to thier limit to get the 500khs. I can scrypt mine other coins at 730khs each card without any oclocking. Maybe my ultracoin miner is a problem? I use cgminer for the other coins but this UTC miner may be causing it?

I am using ultracoin miner as well. Last thing that comes to my mind would be drivers. I have 13.11.

Anyone getting high hashes with 280x cards? I can't seem to break 450 each card. Check my post to se id you can help.
Thanks

570 per card with "common" settings. You have problems with scrypt hashrate aswell or jane only?
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN: WORLD FIRST COIN MIXING FEATURE] 0.56 HARD FORK UPDATE! [TIPS] FedoraCoin on: February 08, 2014, 10:55:21 PM
80 blocks to go!
By the way the old block explorers are broken atm and the owner's away, there's a working one over at http://198.144.178.108:2750/chain/Fedoracoin though.

Also in case anyone is wondering coin mixing will probably take another week, but don't worry though as I've been hard at work, here's a changelog of things added so far:
Quote
0.60 changelog
    - TestNet support
    - Beta coin mixing support (single mixing node right now)
    - Add RPC user system (users stored in database, can be added by admin account with adduser/authuser commands)
        - Add passwd command (users can change password / admin can change user passwords)
        - Add admin-only command root to find root username
        - Add rootuser to getinfo command output (admin-only)
        - Add whoami command to display logged in user name
    - Add getchainvalue command to display total mined coins
    - Updated alert key + new alert creation/signing/sending commands
    - Allow RPC server access from JavaScript requests / web wallets
    - Change miniTIPS/tinyTIPS to thousands and millions
    - Update block checkpoints
    - Update int64 -> uint64
    - Update NSIS script + icons
    - Rearrange code (no more warnings!)
    - Fixups for MSVC 2012 / Qt 5
    - Fix genbuild.sh

NOTES:
    - still need to add mixer node announcements/revokements etc
    - sendtoaddress command still doesn't take user / users addresses into consideration yet

Technical info of above:
    - fix testnet (generate genesis block, update merkle root, update checkpoints)
    - update alert keys
    - add generatekey/createalert/signalert/sendalert admin-only commands
    - add Access-Control headers to allow client-side JS to connect to RPC
    - add RPC user system
        - add adduser/authuser admin-only commands
        - add root (find root username) admin-only command
        - add rootuser to getinfo output (only shows for admin)
        - add whoami/passwd commands
        - changed certain commands to only run if user is admin

    - add beta coin mixing support (still have to add mixer announcements/revokements/network testing)
    - add "anonymize coins" checkbox to send coins form and update rpc commands to allow :mixed after addresses
        (see help messages for sendtoaddress/sendfrom/sendmany)
    - add mixing fee display
    - hide boost warnings (no more warnings!)
    - change miniTIPS/tinyTIPS to thousands and millions
    - add getchainvalue command (total mined TIPS up to block N)
    - update checkpoints
    - update int64 -> uint64
    - update nsis logos/icons
    - fix nsis script file
    - rearrange code
    - fixups for MSVC 2012 and Qt 5.1
    - fix genbuild.sh
0.60 will be a nice update Smiley
Now that I've updated the alert keys we (the developers) can send alerts through the network informing people about updates and changes, etc.
Also the new RPC user system means that you can create extra RPC users who only have access to certain accounts they've created on the server, allowing anyone to host a web-wallet!
We'll probably talk more about web-wallets later on when we have more news to share Wink

Good to see you are still around Smiley Invisi, if you were the one to arrange multipool help back at 270 diff, maybe you will be able to get them to help with last lets say 20 blocks Cheesy

So whats with leetpools again? I even tried changing DNS server, created new worker... Still no connection!
I was finally able to get my 1 rogue miner connected by changing the domain in the bat file URL from .com to .net My other miners are still using .com with no issues. Go figure!  Huh

.net did the thing, thank you very much!

fixed my problem also... weird, they don't list .net as a server anywhere

.com site just died on me and i switched to browsing dashboard on .net Wink
