Can I request addition of block_reward to explorer API? Thats the last variable I just cant figure out. Doesnt have to be current, from last block will be just fine, whatever is easier for you Actually, there is no problem to calculate reward without using any additional tools. https://github.com/novacoin-project/novacoin/wiki/Proof-of-workHowever, I've sent your request to explorer's maintainer. Hah I was browsing internet for ages looking for that formula, thank you very much!

Hardfork is coming at block 307770 (approximately at July 30)
This is a mandatory update, please update your wallets (source on github and windows base core clients have been updated, mac and SPV clients will be updated later)
Changes:
1. KGW has been replaced by DGW v3. Solves Time Warp Vulnerability in KGW. In addition, DGW is much more responsive (mitigates multipool issues better) and up to 50 times faster (this is important for non-C++ SPV clients in Java and Python language)
2. New reward system: Base reward reduced to 20 coins per block and now reward depends on the total network hashrate (using formula 20 - 5 * sqrt (hashrate in Gh), but not less than 5 coins per block. This reward, depending on hashrate, then reduced gradually by 2.5% every week from July 30. Thus, after 4 weeks of hardfork, with network hashrate of 4 Gh, reward will be (20-5*sqrt(4)) * 0.975 * 0.975 * 0.975 * 0.975 = 9.03 EXE. Reward, depending on hashrate, also mitigates multipool issues to some extent, and hashrate values used in formula are being calculated on the base of last 60 blocks for more responsiveness (in contrast to standard in-coin calculation using last 120 blocks)
Please add current block_reward to explorer API.

I just need current_difficulty, block_height, and total_coins (with normal decimal point). Standard data to make profit calculations going For most CN coins I am getting data from cryptostats.com, but they dont have Aeon and Moneta.
|
|
|
Got any standard API for that, or planned?

Thank you, actually someone reported 290 with 216W. Anyone else with power usage? Btw I have added XMR and few other CN coins to my site.

Can any of the block explorers create an API with block_reward? I have been trying for ages to calculate a proper formula of reward changes. Each time it changes differently.
100000 * 0.90**( ( stats.last.try(:blocks).to_f - 14300 ) / 35280 ).floor - this is now one step ahead. I was using it without "14300" before, then it was one step behind...
