1441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: September 25, 2022, 08:48:29 PM

We have to go through such a situation for us to learn our lesson. We will not be able to learn how to have self-control and self-discipline if we will not experience losing. Most of us have been through that kind of situation where we felt overwhelmed and lost control. This scenario usually happens to beginners who sometimes disregard the risks of gambling hoping that they will have a consistent profit. Greed is human nature so we should know how to deal with it.
The problem is this is easier said than done. Self-control is definitely something that is difficult especially for those who are always in the mood and rely on such things in gambling.
We often say self-control but sometimes when gambling is done and we have lost quite a lot, things like that will forget by themselves because we have been carried away by emotions.
Yes, this had always been the case that people do really find out for this to be that easy to be done when you are on the foot of those people who are addicted to gambling. You would definitely not able to have those

self control and awareness of your actions if you are on the condition where you are just thinking on to play gambling no matter what. Some might do able to control themselves but there are people who cant really just

do even it do really sounds basic on having that discipline and good control. You cant really just get out of it if you do have that greediness inside your mind.
1442  Economy / Economics / Re: Rebuttal: Rich Mindset vs Poor Mindset on: September 24, 2022, 11:52:26 PM
Your point: The rich believe that money makes money.

Rich mindset would really be something like this always which its definitely that on point because you cant really make more money if you wont really be risking some money which is really just a basic
concept of having investment through businesses and other assets that you are tending to own.

If you do make yourself having no goals or targets in life then you would really be just making yourself remain into that poor state or life status which its never
been that appealing to have specially when you are struggling on just surviving on your daily living.
1443  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: September 24, 2022, 10:59:37 PM
I think that in the last 20-30 years in the history of gambling there have been quite strong changes that have significantly affected the very history of the development of these games.  The fact is that before the era of online games, rivals were almost always physically in close proximity to each other.  They could even quarrel and even fight if they saw the opponent's fraud.  All these features added an element of risk and excitement to the game.  But in online gambling, this is no longer the case.  And no one will give you a face if you suddenly began to cheat.  This is also why online scams are rampant.
And thus, as it were, a new page was opened in the history of the development of gambling.
The Internet has been a game changer and almost every single activity has been affected by it so it is not surprising that gambling has gone through an evolution, however we are also on the edge of yet another development which could change gambling forever as well, the metaverse is coming and without a doubt once it becomes a technology available to everyone casinos will be there to take advantage of it, as it will be a way for them to bring back some of the elements which have been lost with online gambling and that still make gambling at a psychical casinos more attractive for some gamblers.

For those who are extroverts, physical gambling is always a way to go.  These kinds of gamblers ofter take priority of socialization than solitude.  While the internet gives the introvert what it needs, I believe the technology development will make these two kind of gamblers what they need in the future.   Rollbit had already begun the possibly new era of gambling by implementing clan, this tackle more  on socialization which most online gambling lacks (there is a chatroom, yes but it is there for chats but not joint activity).  This can be further enhanced if Casino owners decided to create their own version of the metaverse of gambling.  MMORPG and gambling in one application under the technology guise of the metaverse.
No matter how these new ideas and system would be molded or created on but still it wont really beat up the essence when you do social interact with other gamblers physically rather than on facing up on your own monitor thats why there's always been a demand with these physical casinos despite of the flourishing market of online platforms.Cant really deny that changes made it too far which community could really make out
interactions even through online which is something at least easing out that kind of aspect.
1444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading is good for traders with passive mindset on: September 24, 2022, 08:59:23 PM
Yes especially if you are in this bear market, you invested in bear market we should be prepare for losses as well, not all our investment are designed in linear ptter that makes us win often of will not lose so easily.. People find hard to be patient at first but sooner or later once they understand crypto and the different cycles as well they know how to read charts in different ways will help them to be rich soon.
This habit of hanging in the market even when it goes up or down is important for new traders. What I have seen is that most of them leave trading too early because they encountered losses, the losing mindset. This quitter mindset will not carve a good trader.

Instead dummy trading solves a lot of these problems. By doing dummy, they will be sensitised to the events that commonly happen and not get crazy over ups and downs.

Sooner or later it is the ones who stick to the market and be determined about their investments are the one who end up as hardened traders.
You should really be that versatile or simply being adaptive on whatever circumstances or situations that you might faced on and its always been a part of being a trader.
You cant really just stand back and wait for the price to climb up high unless if you are a holder then it would be your choice on being that passive or idle.
We could really differentiate between passive and active traders and this would really be basing up into their own preference considering that every aspect of our actions
will be depending into our own goals and perspective into our investment.
1445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino Stake.com sued for $400 million on: September 23, 2022, 08:26:01 PM
Stake is currently the largest bitcoin casino in the world and the creators (Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani) have already made it clear that the lawsuit is false as well as frivolous. The market value of the company is estimated at at least $1 billion, and they have been in operation since 2017. And the lawsuit by Christopher Freeman is laughable at the best. He claims that he was "misled into not taking part in the creation of Stake.com". I don't think that there is even a minute chance of Freeman winning this lawsuit with such wild claims.
And I believe the same as well, if you take the time to read his allegations you can see that he is just hurt that he is not part of the success of stake and he is envious about the lifestyle that his friends are enjoying, so he is trying to hurt them while at the same time he is trying to obtain the same benefits for himself, and when the arguments that he supposedly has in his favor are so weak then it will be a massive surprise if he happened to actually win the trial and get the amount of money that he is asking for.
No one would be on their right minds on not to make themselves to be part of the success of a company that we've been seeing now which is Stake. We know on how this casino started out and how it becomes so huge.

Its understandable that its been connected on Primedice wayback and then creating other platform for giving those casino games been offered and ending up successfully. As one of the creators or owner or something like that and ending up on not to get the right share or benefit then it would really be just right that you would really be taking such initiation on suing them out.
You cant just let yourself do see that they are living on a lavish life while you are doing on the opposite.
1446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC vs Mining it on: September 23, 2022, 07:25:21 PM
This question is important and tells us about the mindset difference of holder and Miner ,
Holder don't have anything but buy bitcoin at which he thought that it will make profits as holder we need to wait until the price breaks the buy price and then it will be profitable its like you buy a ground and you want to sell at higher price but Miner situation is different he makes profits every moment he dos not care what is the price the mining machines making bitcoins and he sell them for fulfill his daily expenses for example in this case you buy a house and give it on rent , your house is still yours but it makes money for you .
If you do really love to save up yourself on the hassle then its better to buy bitcoin and hold it for long term or the time you are planning out on doing so but if you do love to put yourself on some hassle or challenge then

mining would really not bad to consider but no dumb person would really be mining without having any profits to consider specially if electricity cost is high. You wont really be definitely doing such step

and would sensibly be thinking that its better to buy than to mine which there are lots of things to be considered if ever you do decide to mine. There's soo much thing to be considered on.
1447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 22, 2022, 10:49:23 PM
12 teams will be competing for 2 spots at TI 11. It will be held in Singapore on Oct 8-12.

-snip

Kinda wondering if it actually counts as participating in TI this year if the team only gets to the Last Chance Qualifier though? Its pretty much offline tournament in Singapore as well so thats basically TI isnt it. 2 more weeks to go though, imagine all those action packed games in the qualifiers because there is only 2 slots out of 12 teams that participated
Im expecting VG and Secret would get that 2 slot for TI and this qualifier would really be hot and exciting considering that this is the last chance for them to get in and participate the internationals.

Lots had been eyeing out into their respective teams for them to support specially for Navi or even those Sea teams around.
It would really be an action packed and clashes would be happening as this would really be their last chance.
1448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO / Presale Question on: September 22, 2022, 09:47:41 PM
Use icodrops as one of your reference. They are usually introducing a new project from time to time but not sure whether they are on bsc chain. Sometime it is on other chains too. But if you want bsc network then wait for binance launchpad projects cause they are launching normally on bsc network as its partner with binance. But depends sometime the project is available too on other chains. Can I ask why you preferably on bsc? Is it because of the gas fee?
When it comes on choosing up BSC and looking into those newly launched projects you could eventually see that its price soars up plus it is really tagged along with the most popular exchange platform which it would really be that understandable that people would really be aiming on dealing on something which is really connected or related into this platform or simply they had able to see those growths or gains
on why they've decided for it to be on BSC chain and just like the rest that had been saying that investing on presale doesnt always end up on a good result.
Due to lots of project then risk is much higher when you do really deal up on the wrong project which would cause losses.
1449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 22, 2022, 08:47:22 PM

What about you guys? Do you leave your balance in your casino balance or you withdraw immediately regardless of the reputation of the casino?
Doesnt matter on what casino i've been dealing with but all of the funds which i do own or possess on a particular account would definitely be pulling out those funds no matter how small it is which im not really that

confident despite of its reputation do it had over the years but there are certain times or situations which you do able to leave out those funds for a certain period of time until you had remembered that you do still have

funds but this is actually depending on someones mind since there are people who do really have that kind of memory which cant really able to forget on something that they had recently dealing with.
1450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mentor experience in crypto trading. on: September 22, 2022, 12:06:35 AM
If you are referring about mentor then i can say that in current situations mentor is not easily accessible because no one will guide you and all of the crypto users are just concerned with cash and spreading wrong information. I just thought usable information by watching videos  and more about it i just catch good results from my crypto friends.
They're accessible, you can have them freely by following their contents. Those are the self proclaimed mentors that makes daily contents about the market.
You can assess them if they really are what they're speaking and if they have the knowledge about the market and trading. We, as audience can depict that if they're really saying what's on their mind and what they know about trading.
As long it is free then i dont see anything wrong about it but you could eventually notice if its something manipulative or dealing only with shit low cap coins then its up into your own preference whether you would

continue to deal or not.Mentors arent really that bad to look upon as long they dont charged up something for the knowledge and tips that they are giving. Its commendable for those who did for free

and not worth for those people who are asking for sub fees.Just like been saying by the rest of people on here that its better to learn on your own
and snip out some ideas on others.
1451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: September 21, 2022, 10:59:18 PM

What do you guys think of this development?
According to the published article, the reason for the ban is due to backlash they(Twitch) received from influencers.

Do you think backlash received from influencers is enough reason for Twitch to ban gambling streaming on their platform?

It's bad for Twitch because there is a huge market for streamers now that market will have to go to other platforms, we cannot blame them they need to establish their reputation, they are a fresh platform in video sharing sites and they need to be up to standard as what stated on their license, but they should just be more strict because there are good streamers and bad streamers, one example is abusing their followers you don't pm your followers to ask money it's ok to put donation but never ask them for money.
It would be not a huge loss actually considering that Twitch isnt only making money on these gambling streamers but there are still some which is excluded into this one.Yes, it might give out some % impact but wont

really be that badly be affected on coming into a point that they would really be getting huge decrease in terms of that.It is true that there's a good reputation which is needed to be sustained and maintained which
if ever there are complaints or problems which is really included or stated on their terms and conditions then it would be normal that they would really be doing such decision.
1452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin island in the Philippines? on: September 21, 2022, 09:56:00 PM
Source: https://coinpedia.org/crypto-live-news/cryptocurrency-wallet-provider-pouch-to-turn-philippines-resort-into-bitcoin-island/

When I saw this news for the first time coming from a crypto friend of mine, it was really mind blowing. The adoption of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the Philippines has taken to a whole new level in which a Philippines resort may be turning into a “Bitcoin island” by a crypto wallet provider.

What are your thoughts about this one guys especially Filipinos here on this forum? Would love to hearing some feedback, reactions or opinion from you all here.

Thanks in advance!
Anything that is related to recognition and adoption is always been a good thing or good news.Reading up on the link provided it is  been said about integrating micro-payments on 100+ small businesses around
on an island which does simply shows that they are really that too positive on what would be the outcome and affecting countries GDP as mentioned. It would really be a big convenience into those people
who had known bitcoin or crypto already and create out some buzz and curiosity into those people who do lurk around or come into that place which its impossible for it not to be noticed out.
1453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch gambling problem and Sliker issue on: September 21, 2022, 08:36:31 PM

Update: Twitch has placed a ban on off shore casinos.
https://i.imgur.com/jTqZTAq.png

That's fast Twitch may have received a lot of bad reports about streamers abusing their followers, I don't see anything wrong on doing stream on sports betting and casinos, you're informing, enlightening people and educating people on the gambling feature of one casino, anyway there are still a lot of streaming platform that these streamers can perform their streaming but they should not abuse their followers, like what Sliker did.
That was indeed fast which it is really normal on having that kind of action whenever the platform or company did received lots of reports in regarding on what Sliker did but they do only limit out into those offshore

and still alow into those platforms who do have US licensed but actually this was just a right actions that they had made but to consider out on how many been affected then there's nothing we can do about it.
Twitch isnt only the streaming platform that we know that there are several ones which those streamers or influencers would just definitely be transferring if ever they cant already
do such stream or genre on twitch.
1454  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin, Not for everyone. on: September 20, 2022, 11:45:58 PM
Overall Bitcoin is a rather interesting idea that has sparked the curiosity of millions of people. This is not for everyone because the price factor from time to time goes up and is considered very high. but I think the important thing is that we recognize the potential of cryptocurrencies and study it so that we understand where it is going.
Once you do step your foot into cryptocurrencies then you should really make yourself that fully aware on how it do behaves or even with just the basic principles on what it is so that you wont really be having that kind

of hardship or being mind boggled whenever you do encounter it.1 BTC isnt a necessary accumulation for each individual considering that the whole coin value almost 20k then not everyone will really be able on doing so

but we know that we could purchase in fractions. It isnt really that necessary to accumulate whole coin but in other peoples mindset then they do really set off that kind of particular goal or target.
1455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: September 20, 2022, 10:59:22 PM
Have you ever had an experience betting in which you knew that you were going over the limits of you finances and still continued? I have one playing a game, it was absorbing plenty of my time and despite me knowing it, I was kind of hooked on it. It was not a financial problem, but left me wondering how easy is to actually fall into a bad habit and how difficult is to break it.
I'm not and that was because I always put a limit on how much I spent.
But, I see some people just like you ended up overspending, and for some reason;
 - financial capabilities
 - betting addiction
 - no limitation

If you are a rich person or somewhat financially stable, you don't need to worry about exceeding the limits for at least you are having fun and the pleasure of doing it.
Even if you are rich then speaking about limitation or infinite funds is never been possible. You could really be finding yourself sleeping on the streets if you do make that huge losses over a period of time.Yes, it might be

long time before it do happens but when the time comes then you would surely regret which you do put yourself into a condition which it shouldnt happen if you had just that right or good self control.'
Everything which is excessive is never been good even not just speaking with gambling but also in other things as well.

Betting high would already be considered if you are surpassing into your limit and its impossible that you arent aware of that but you had just ignored it.
1456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need some advice on: September 20, 2022, 09:46:36 PM
I need some thoughts about this group I've joined a week a go. They are giving free signals for trading and I actually start earning since day 1. Are there really group like this? or Am I on the right trading group. We trade in Batex anf U-koala.
Dont know but it do sounds that this is some sort of indirect ads about Batex and u-koala.If im wrong then i would say to you that you are really making some profits then go ahead but dont make yourself that too much

confident. There's nothing better on learning up trading on your own and even if you do follow up some groups or signals then it would be wise that you should learn up those things on your own.

So that you would really be that having an idea on what they are doing and not just simply following and doing things that they are mandating for you to do so.
Lastly, as long you arent shelling out some money for sub fees then its not bad to get along with those group as long it do benefits you out.
1457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an electronic currency, can it be use for bet gambling on: September 20, 2022, 08:36:06 PM
As an electronic currency, I will like to know if bitcoin can be use in sport betting,

I think OP needed to understand that nothing like bitcoin an electronic currency, it is called a digital currency and it's beennused in playing bets, when you look at the recent casinos, there you will discover that they have varieties of digital currency their site accepts and you will evennhave your own centralized wallet address they will generate for you after signing up with them, some have the option for fiat as well while you can buy crypto or deposit it to your casino wallet address to enjoy playing games same way you could make withdrawal, i think OP should also just give a try and sign up for one of the ones here on the forum to understand better.
He do clearly still lacks ample knowledge and even with the basics on how BItcoin works or how its been applied and its integration as a payment option specially on crypto space. If we do  tend to look around then

here on crypto market where every gambling site exist does accept bitcoin which means that it is really just a standard and even having alternative payment options like accepting alts or even fiat ones.

OP should give at least some small time on making himself aware nor even know about basic concepts and applications of Bitcoin.
1458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have started teaching Bitcoin to my Neighbors on: September 19, 2022, 11:47:47 PM
I think by basing it on your name, I assume that you are Filipino? I would like to give my congratulations for you for taking the next step in introducing BTC to your fellow kabayans! I have a question, so how was their reaction? Was the teaching method gave some enlightenment to your students? Were they also attentive and willing to listen on this innovative feature?

I seriously hope that they join this forum as they will also learn at least almost every thing under the sun about cryptocurrencies. While it may be confusing at first, at least they got a head start from your discussion. Congratulations, kabayan!
When it comes on introducing something new into someone then it would be normally be divided into two possible reactions whether some might be interested and some would just simply ignore it but if we do speak out

generally on how to make money then pretty much sure that people would really be directly be interested on what are the things that someone would be introducing or telling into them and would directly engage out.

As long money talks and how to earn money then majority of us would really become interest but as a neighbor or someone who do share up opportunities then its always been suggestible on always
explain about the risk so that you wont really be ending up on been blamed.
1459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch gambling problem and Sliker issue on: September 19, 2022, 10:49:52 PM

Will this be the straw that will finally break the Camel's back and will force Twitch to ban gambling streams?
I hope it does.
If there would be some petitions specially if its on big or huge scale then Twitch might consider on having that ban but so far if they arent getting that much complaint then they would just let those people do continue on what they are doing.
If we do speak about ethical or not then it would always boils down on someones perspective, view or opinion. It isnt really just right that you would be having that sort of online begging
just for you to make out some sports betting.
Somehow, these people wont make out to have some bets if there were no people been sending some money.
1460  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 19, 2022, 09:40:31 PM
Working from home has actually become a double-edged sword to a lot of workers. It would have been better if working from home remains to have fixed time setup. The problem is that there isn't to many workers. I have heard of complaints from teachers here in my place that working from home has actually made them a lot busier than it was when they worked at school. They're now heavily loaded that the time they're spending working has actually increased. So while you're working from the comforts of your home, it isn't a big deal since you're still too absorbed in your work.
Well, it might give an advantage for some but for others, it may end up ineffective. Especially if you have other responsibilities to be done at home, then your main job will be compromised and become less priority. The reason why some workers still want to go out and work in their own working places because that’s the only way that they can focus to finish their jobs without the intervention of others.
When working remotely then the main thing that would really be affected is about socialism + health which would really be both of those things will really be making some adjustment which you should really be that watchful specially into your health and since there's no much activity nor movement you would really be making then it would be sensible that for you to take care of your health at least then basic exercise is needed.
Its true that working from home does really give out that convenience but its true that there are people who doesnt really like on having this system but rather much preferred on dealing with other co-workers
which they can make out some interaction rather than making themselves been spoiled on their own homes.Well, it does really vary on someones preference and options.
