Well, that sounds a bit suspicious. You should have to enable and confirm it before it's activated. I've used different devices including my phone to access the site, and I've never come across this.
Do you check your emails from Polo for logins from new IPs?

It's difficult to say because their support has been very slow lately. They should be responding to tickets faster now, but some people have been waiting weeks for a response.

2FA is done through Google Authenticator not SMS. If you didn't save a backup of the seed - which Polo warned you about - then you need to replace the battery in the iPad. Only other option is to verify your identity with Polo via help desk, which will probably take longer to sort out.

Well I just sold a bitcoin for some pocket cash. $1980 a coin net, BLAH. However the machine only offered me $580. Bearish....
Then 10 minutes later I got a text from the owner. "Would you like more money?" "Sure, another $1400 would do.". "Oh we have that in the machine we'll free it up for you..."
Guy got seriously cheap coinz.

Lost all my earnings and a chunk of my 2k due too leverage and intoxicated, slowly getting it back. Also do want to get into normal
You need to be disciplined. Only takes one drunken stupor on leverage to wipe out a position that you've diligently worked at for months/years. I guess most of us have taken on too much risk and got stung at some point though. |

Alphabay, a huge anonymous market which supposedly pulled an exit scam on its users. Could possibly be a reason why Bitcoin's price is going down right now. Chaos is ensuing right now as other anonymous markets are shut down as well or closed their doors to new registrants as people flood to find alternatives.

Bitcoin is getting segwit and there will be no hardfork. Once the market understands this reality, BTC will hit all time high in no time and you want to be holding 100% of your wealth in it when that time comes.
Save for some miracle, there's going to be a hardfork to 2MB later in the year. We also have the split in the codebase, with miners trying to corporatize the code. |
