1441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My coins percentage down on: December 15, 2021, 02:27:23 PM
Not all altcoins will feel the market crash but most of it will when Bitcoin and Ethereum is down. Where does it go? I think that's the main question we all want answer with. There are three gateways right now rather than two, in my opinion. Before it's just cash and stablecoins. But now, it could be riding the hype for an NFT item. Sell your alts for a different name, coin, ticker or project and expect it to make more gains than the previous investment that you made.
Why it's difficult pin point where the money went? There's just too many altcoins in the market now and tracing it all will be a lot of work.

I am trying to jog my memory on where I found the name of this gambling site. Perhaps, the little advertisements that was input in different articles that I have visited. It's a good thing there's a Gibraltar gaming division that checks on this kind of operations or else victims will just pile up without even knowing the reason behind it.
Quote
Gaming Division reported that the casino wrongly used the logo of the government of Gibraltar and even placed a false license number from GB on its footer.
Wrongly used the logo of the government.  Grin Whoever did it is a newbie in underground jobs.
Quote
the casino encouraged its players to upload documents that confirmed their identity to a totally different website.
KYC in a different way. Wow! Unique but not safe. That's a red flag already if you are the one sending the documents.
1443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 14, 2021, 01:58:59 PM
Two games of the Chicago Bulls will be postponed due to Covid-19 health and safety protocols.
Who are the players left to play the Lakers in December 20?
Quote
That left the Bulls with the eight available players, the league minimum to field a team. That list includes two players on two-way contracts in Devon Dotson and Tyler Cook, another signed to a 10-day contract last week in Alfonzo McKinnie, and rookie Marko Simonovic, who has played most of the season in the G League.
https://www.theoaklandpress.com/2021/12/14/covid-issues-prompt-nba-to-postpone-bulls-vs-pistons-and-one-more/
Good news is the postpone part. Bad news there is a next day game against the Rockets after the Lakers. 2 sure losses will be added in their record.
Not even sure if the stars will be back at December 23 versus the Raptors which might make it 3 losses if they are not permitted yet. Results of the test must be negative first before re-entry.
1444  Economy / Economics / Re: This what poor people need on: December 14, 2021, 01:18:00 PM
If u guys need more directions how to organize this proper way then ask.
I know where this is going.  Grin Are you trying to be hired by someone here to be the fund manager? You took the effort of a long input for every details and even used poverty to float the way it should be done.  i.e. investments in mutual funds.
But, if no one will work for McDonalds then where would some people get their food? If we all inquire to whatever you are proposing then will there be no more poor guy in the world? I don't think that's how it works. It's called balance. There will always be a McDonald crew especially if he/she is just a starter in working then those who badly need experience will do it.
This may not be the right place to get some investors because we opened our eyes to cryptocurrencies industry and most of us will just invest it there without the need to hire a manager saving us more money.
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel about the looming Metaverse boom? on: December 14, 2021, 10:13:06 AM
There's the ease to put value in the coin they want to inject in it by using the blockchain technology.
Metaverse has a lot of definition for different users and they have their own in the gaming industry just like one user above. Shared virtual world, I think that's the true definition of it. I don't know about interactions though as I don't see myself talking to anyone after buying one space of that world.
The only interaction that I saw is the marketplace where different users are buying and selling.
It has a lot of future compared to the basic role playing game where you just play and keep your character strong and buy avatars. Here, there's a chance for profits with a bit of investment. More like other coins where you wait for the value to grow but here you are playing while waiting.
1446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 14, 2021, 08:33:31 AM
Amanda can bring a lot of fans which I guess If I have to create a conspiracy about it, Dana plans to have a trilogy for the two to make more money and that for the rematch Amanda will win. A cash grab for UFC promotion.
Oohh some good theory there. It's possible and they have to make as much money as they could while they are letting fans watch the game.
Soon, a new variant will come out and we might go back to the bubble style. Stay at home and just watch pay-per-view.
I tried reading back to all the analysis that was made and all are 90 percent for Amanda to take the win. Maybe, just maybe it was all a bit scripted by Dana for the purpose that you said. But we have no proof of it and just be thankful it was an entertaining match.
Right now, that fight will be on top of my upset list.
1447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 14, 2021, 02:46:45 AM
Did I watch the Warriors/Pacers game in Indianapolis or was that in San Francisco? The fans are expecting big time for Curry to reach the record breaking number that they forgot to root for their home team.  Grin
A win for Golden State Warriors from a miracle shot by Looney.
2 more three points for Steph and obviously he will be doing it in New York, the Mecca of basketball at Madison Square Garden with a fully packed seat.
1448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 13, 2021, 06:24:44 PM
It looks like Kevin Durant proves that he can still carry a team to a victory even though he has a past injury but KD still shine. Determination and positive thinking make Kevin Durant unstoppable.
No Harden No Irving that's why KD have so much time to play and I think they got a good decision then Kd carry his team and also his teammates doing great so they win a scored of 116 to 100.
He can. There's no hype with the Brooklyn Nets now because of the Warriors and the Suns previous battle to end the streak, Curry breaking the 3 point record and Lakers performance level which is unpredictable. But soon, there will be again when Kevin Durant keep this up.
The Nets have a deep roster and that's what missing with other teams. Harden can rest and Irving can waste more time avoiding the vaccine but their role players can step up their game and join Durant on his quest to be steady as the number 1 seed in the East.
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to the crypto market now? on: December 13, 2021, 03:55:01 PM
Yes.
If you browse coinmarketcap, it is just bearish for most of the known cryptocurrencies. But go deep, you will see other cryptos are gaining. I think there is a switch that is happening in the shadows. It could be by purchasing NFT's or a new coin that is not hyped yet but whales already got the initial news about it.
That's all the reason I could see for now because no bad events are happening outside and the expectation for December pump is still on going.
1450  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe good time to loan money to invest in crypto on: December 13, 2021, 02:59:59 PM
I am not recommending that kind of attack when it comes to investment. You should've saved the money while Bitcoin is still expensive rather than risking it with a loan then finding yourself in deep shit after it. We don't know what tomorrow will bring or the next month or year. But going too far as taking a loan and risking it will be a bad idea.
But, if there's someone you trust that could wait for a long time before being paid then so be it. Just don't go borrowing money in banks as I am sure they will be in your doorstep or your accounts once you cannot pay at the right time.
1451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 13, 2021, 01:41:54 PM
Julianna Peņa +650 underdog. Damn, I was shocked with the result too. How many gamblers lose their money on this event?  Grin Even Joe Rogen might've put all his money on Nunes.
That brawl on the second round was the best and I am raping the replay.  Grin That kind of thing doesn't happen a lot of times so yes it's entertaining and I wish Nunes the best and maybe train her stamina to get the title back.
Congratulations to Peņa.
1452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 13, 2021, 10:28:28 AM
Speaking of KD, nobody talking about the 51 piece he put up tonight?

Yes, because we are not surprised anymore, he is a great player and he can drop that numbers anytime. Durant is now the leading candidate for MVP, I must say based on my observation, and as he continues to play impressive basketball, there's a huge chance that he'll win the award. Brooklyn are really a good 4th quarter team, 30-13, that's the dominance they have.
I am surprised.
That's a guy who recovered from an Achilles injury and yet his mentality is way stronger than other players who didn't experience the same thing he did.
51 points in 41 minutes. 41 freaking minutes!!! He can play that long now. But before that a lot of rumors was thrown into him being paid too much by the Nets. No Harden, No Irving, No problem, KD can carry it.
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse and blockchain on: December 12, 2021, 05:44:20 PM
They are dead so let's forget about them rising from their tombs.
Metaverse is the new trend and it works especially in the gaming industry. That's why NFT's does work too, this is not the traditional era anymore and MMO's before are not getting that much support because of the pay to win system.
Now, a part of that profit will be distributed to the players instead of just wasting money over and over again. I spent much in MMO's before but now I don't need to. Invest some and take it back after a few weeks or months which is genius.
1454  Other / Off-topic / Re: COVID-19 Pass without Vaccine on: December 12, 2021, 04:05:20 PM
Do you mean fake vaccine cards? If that's it then....
It will happen eventually but will you really jeopardize your own health just to go to the mall and satisfy the need to feel the comfort of an airconditioned space?
I was worried about this too but when I saw the QR code in the card then it gave me a bit of a relief. That's authentication. Though, it will depend on the security of the establishment if they will produce machines that will authenticate the legitimacy of it. I think they should for everyone's safety.
I am just outside once every couple of weeks for necessities and the grocery is still not looking for the card as long as you wear your mask.
1455  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 1XBIT campaign could be the next longest running campaign even with scam reports on: December 12, 2021, 12:32:39 PM
It will all be okay once they clean up their mess. It's been 7 months, and still we see gamblers telling their experiences on how bad the service is.
I don't have anything against them but we all want our money to be in safe hands. We want to deposit and withdraw our money anytime we want it to with complete numbers.
It's not just about the signatures that we should look at, it's what's within. They can go 2 years running this campaign but what about the unsolved history regarding the service itself? Should it all be sugarcoat by on time payment in signature advertising?
1456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 12, 2021, 09:54:14 AM
Bulls were missing Demar in this game but the Heat were also without their two main players (Jimmy and Bam). Lowry and Herro also had okay numbers but they still dominated. Looks like this team will go deep into the playoffs again.
Chicago Bulls should also find a way to use their bench players and gain chemistry with their star players.
It's not just DeRozan that is out but also Jones Jr. who had been in the injury line due to Covid. They should expect this to happen most of the time and create adjustments to gain wins like a short-handed Miami Heat.
Memphis Grizzlies is an example of a winning team like they are not affected badly with Ja Morant's absence.
1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to Ethereum after the release of ETH2.0? on: December 11, 2021, 03:05:21 PM
1. ETH miners will become obsolete because the system is changing from Proof of work to Proof of stake.

2. The gas fee is expected to reduce a lot, atleast by 100 times as per theirr prediction because the transaction per second is going to be hiked.

3. More projects may prefer ethereum back again because of the decentralized nature unlike BSC.

in general, what you say is true. there will be a change of consensus from POW to POS, which will have a big impact on the ethereum mining ecosystem. Block capacity is also increased, this will affect transaction fees and speed. but for the third, it doesn't seem right. because even though eth2.0 was launched there are many other good networks too. that means ethereum is not the main choice now.
Maybe. It may become a house of the rich if the staking process will just be profitable for those who carries big amounts and the usage had been forgotten. I am hoping for the normal to be back. Smart contract - cheap and fast transaction - good output. But as you said, the competition now is higher than it was first announced especially in the ICO era where most of the projects are using Ethereum as the top option or because there is none yet and it's the easiest way to create an offering.
Now NFT projects are choosing either BNB or they will create their own chain like what most games does now.
1458  Economy / Economics / Re: The CIA Is Deep Into Cryptocurrency, Director Reveals on: December 11, 2021, 01:34:20 PM
Here they go claiming anything that is good and dumping everything that is trash. They even said they created a lot of cryptocurrencies and I bet those are stablecoins that having been popping out like mushrooms trying to confuse people of where their money should go.
But I highly doubt they are the ones behind Bitcoin or Satoshi is in their midst. This is all just something to shake things up although I doubt it still work nowadays. Human eyes are already opened because of the internet and they will go deep just to get the facts and not rely on what the government said.
1459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot Machine Strategy? on: December 11, 2021, 10:46:11 AM
That seated slot machine should have not dealt with a jackpot for a long time before you take the spot. Then, there is the waiting time on how long the person will play there. It's a difficult strategy but could be worth it with patience.

Back then, there were cheating tools that was used with slots and just a week ago I saw one in social media about the story of that man. I forgot his name but it was a documentary of how he created the tools and he even bought a machine just to tinker it and find out how he can create the equipment. Investment.
As for strategy, I only have the superstitious idea to be bad luck at one position so I switch to another machine.
1460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 11, 2021, 02:36:11 AM
Of course people will be harsh towards Lakers, there are two reasons for this. One is the fact that they have the most championships in the history of the league which makes them not really loved, even when they turned into a horrible stage after 2010 and had a very bad 10 years, they still ended up with a championship right after thanks to Lebron and AD and the bubble. So other teams fans hating Lakers is not a new thing, they end up getting at least one championship every decade, and that sometimes feels a bit difficult for other teams to care for Lakers.

Secondly they built a team with Westbrook-Lebron-AD, and that trio is an amazing one, definitely high up there with any other team, and their other players are not that bad neither, so in theory they should be winning most of their games, maybe not at the top spot but at least in fourth seed at the very worst case, they are playing very badly compared to the roster they have.

Good point. I can still remember the Warriors also ended up being hated by a lot of fans because of their championship history. I even asked a friend why he was supporting Portland Trail Blazers at that time while he is not even a fan of them. He said "I just want to see the Warriors defeated. That's all."
A usual reaction of people when they see someone reaching the top. Pull them down!
They even said its the Warriors fault to be hated for taking Durant as they were already a star studded team which we all know is not true. It's just that their plays are better than other teams.
