581  Economy / Economics / Re: Rebuttal: Rich Mindset vs Poor Mindset on: September 27, 2022, 02:46:03 AM
I dont like joining debates about this rich and poor differences when it is in social media because there are a lot of stupid people there who don't think first before they put it in words using their keyboards. Yes, they are called the keyboard warriors to be precise. I am avoiding them for most are pessimistic ideas and you won't learn anything from them but just fuels your stress.

I like what you have done though, protecting the poor who have dreams. But there are a lot of poor people that are just too lazy about anything and are just giving up with their dreams, so they tend to just put the blame in their parents or their God.
This is case to case basis.
Because there are also rich people who won't keep their riches if they stop working. So hardwork is still necessary and once they become lazy their kingdom will fall.
582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anderson Silva vs Jake paul who you bet on? on: September 26, 2022, 02:29:58 PM
I'd love to see Anderson Silva knock down Jake Paul but this is an obvious win for the Paul Brothers production. Anyway, it's just entertainment, I am not sure if they will give their all here. Even in the press conference that happened there's no spark at all. It's too peaceful. You will have the kind of idea that it will be scripted. Betting, I will be wise to bet for Paul even if it's not much profitable.
I wish this will not be a game that will bring down the reputation of Silva before he fully retires.
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in micro cap altcoins? on: September 26, 2022, 01:20:10 PM
If you are hungry for risk, then you can take this path. Micro cap coins are mostly for short-term profits which can also be found in trading instead of investing. So, if I would choose then I'd take the trading part of it so mentally I am prepared about what could happen than invest with it and be stuck thinking of future gains.
But as you mentioned in your opening, it seems like your portfolio is already solid. Maybe you are really looking for something to play with.
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 24, 2022, 08:49:37 AM
The good thing is that they got Iggy at the tail end of his career, that's why he was able to play that well and become a finals MVP and if I'm not mistaken the win started the franchise to become what is is right now, dominating the league with Steph.

So just right for the Warriors organization recognizing what he did and yes he can mentor the young members, those who will follow the footsteps and continue their dominance.
They got him for cheap and yet he was the Finals MVP. I think that's worth every penny to sign him again like an appreciation gesture for doing a great job at both their offense and defense. He doesn't even need to play anymore just like how Dirk Nowitzki was guiding new players in the Mavs while he still has a contract.
I sure think this will be the last year of his career. I see him having a job somewhere in ESPN or TNT after this run.
585  Economy / Speculation / Re: What can we expect from this statement of Michal Slayer.. on: September 23, 2022, 07:19:33 AM
It was proven that there's no accurate prediction when it comes to Bitcoin. I believe that as history tells it.
So, would you believe one guy that says Bitcoin will go here and there this time and that time. I guess not or should not.
Most investors want the bigger number especially when you are a bag holder. Creating a hype is their priority so they can take advantage of the pump, sell it and then buy back when the value sinks. It's all business for them.

586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 23, 2022, 05:19:45 AM
Since most of the crypto casino nowadays offers free withdrawal fee on most of the cryptocurrency sometimes immediate withdrawal after the game is very convenient now but for players like me that usually play on irregular basis, I really want to leave my balance on the casino so that I can play immediately whenever I like.

I only leave money on casino balance if it’s less than 1000$ or less but this is only applicable on casino that I used for more than a year.

What about you guys? Do you leave your balance in your casino balance or you withdraw immediately regardless of the reputation of the casino?
Whoa! That's a lot of money you are leaving. I only have $300 worth of cryptocurrency balance in my favorite sports bookie. I won't go higher than that and I mostly withdraw my profits.
I don't like leaving that much, not that I don't trust them but it's just my way of doing things when it comes to money.
Yes, just like you it's for an immediate bet when I see a game that I like, not slots or dice because I stopped playing them, more on sports betting.

587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meta universe on: September 22, 2022, 03:50:54 PM
Now on the market, more and more projects related to the meta universe. Tell us what you think the future of this is, and what projects inspire you?
As soon as a new project appears that pays a good reward to users, then immediately there are many cheaters with hundreds or thousands of multi-accounts who make good money on it. Until there are effective methods of dealing with multi-accounts, the real indicators will be very different from official statistics.
I've seen this and experienced it. Multi-accounting right now is like a norm in gaming and other applications. Worse, it's the developers that are giving the tools on how they can do it. They sell it.
Once rewards are seen through 1 main account, they will try to take advantage of it by creating more.
Security about this should be their first goal.
But that will rely on looking at every IP and it's a lot of work. What if one household honestly have different person that is using one connection?
It will take time before they could see a healthy way to prevent it.
588  Economy / Economics / Re: Going to war means let's ulter the economic progression on: September 21, 2022, 01:40:29 PM
Yes. But a country whose main product is ammunition and weaponry will be in good business here. That's why they are the ones who are questioned for creating war because of their businesses. We all know what country that is.
They are paid differently, it's either power or like a loan shark that will topple the economy of the country who participate in war for years. Debt is a powerful weapon now. You can even control one country or city just because of it.
Economic progression will definitely slow down before they can stand on their own again.
589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will digital dollar be a threat to bitcoin? on: September 21, 2022, 11:54:40 AM
It will be successful, I do believe that. It's not like many of Americans are still using literally cash, most are using credit and debit cards so when it comes digital, it will be more like an upgrade again.
Is it a threat to Bitcoin? No, so does any fiat that is change to digital.
It goes back to the sample of credit and debit cards. They exist and yet investors are buying Bitcoin. It's not really because of usage but more like preparing for the future.
590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 20, 2022, 03:46:54 PM
So it might be change on him, perhaps coming off the bench. So there will be a lot of experiments on coach Ham, on how he will have to find the perfect fit in this new Lakers.

Speaking of coming off the bench, there's a rumor that Westbrook might probably become a part of the Lakers' backup squad for the first time in his career since his rookie days. Westbrook is always part of the starting lineup the entire his career.

Schroder will now be the starting PG adding to that.

Maybe part of Coach Darvin Ham's plan. Let's see.

Ooh, that's like a liver punch to Westbrook if they implement it. I am not sure, maybe this will be good. If it's not, then he could just change it back.
Spice things up a bit unlike what Coach Vogel did benching Dwight Howard which is still strong even at his age.
So, we might see Westbrook decreasing in minutes per game. That's his plan that he had been telling after he was announced as the new coach.
We will see, it's difficult to judge now. If it works, Lakers bandwagon will be back.
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is always one step behind the competition on: September 19, 2022, 01:53:44 PM
It's the hype of the long-awaited big change. I doubt it will be long unlike ICO, NFT, and others who made the trend for quite a while before it calmed down. Maybe because it's brand new, from POW to POS, how will it happen. From high charges in fees and slow transaction to an expectation of cutting it down in cents and less traffic.
But it's not happening yet but imo, that's all I want to witness and maybe others have the same expectation.
592  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does anyone think it will be much harder to buy bitcoin later on down the road? on: September 18, 2022, 04:20:22 PM
Depends on your country restrictions. But if you can access reputable exchange then it won't be a problem too.
I don't think there will be a time it will be harder to buy Bitcoin. When its value grows there will be more people that will be willing to sell when they want out and take the profits.
Selling might actually be harder when you put an order that will be higher than the current price so it can cover the transaction fee and other stuff that needs to be paid.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 18, 2022, 11:37:10 AM
I'm thinking, what if Westbrook will fail again and Dennis will provide what the team needs from Westbrook? For sure, he will get a big reward for that, will be offered will a big contract while Westbrook is gonna be up for a trade. It's weird but it's possible as Dennis is just a consistent player, more if he is given more minutes.
Westbrook has 1 more year in his contract if I am not mistaken. That means the Lakers could shoulder this if they are not pushing a championship this year. But that's not the case, they want the win now and rebuild later. Maximizing the strength of Lebron while he still has the speed and body to give them more trophies.
WB is not a failure, he did what he can on a roster that is broken with injuries and less skillful roleplayers.
Schroder on the other hand has something to prove, it balances their needs if ever the Lakers will keep WB.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fan Tokens on: September 18, 2022, 09:30:31 AM
I would not look forward on that even as a sports fan. I'd rather go to the game buy memorabilia and try my luck for a player to sign on it.
That will be better than an NFT item which value could go lesser as time flies by than a real thing that could be displayed in your house and boast to your sports friends.
They keep on advertising the Sports NFT's because there's not many buyers. It doesn't really work. Lower your expectation for it to gain value.
595  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 17, 2022, 07:21:10 AM
I work remotely and I can say there is more distraction unlike when you are in office.
It's easy to say to plan everything but you just can't follow those effectively whenever you feel like you can do some work later.

Hardcore discipline is necessary if you are working from home. If you have kids, there will be time they will disturb you and you cannot just say no to them, everything had to be explained or else they will feel like they are not loved.
It's different from coming home from work and they greet you with joy.
The time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are also changing if you are distracted.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 16, 2022, 04:25:30 PM
An update regarding the Sarver incident.
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/34600876/phoenix-suns-minority-owner-jahm-najafi-calls-robert-sarver-resignation
Quote
Phoenix Suns vice chairman and minority owner Jahm Najafi, the team's second-largest stakeholder, called for majority owner Robert Sarver's resignation in an open letter to team employees released on Thursday night, saying there should be "zero tolerance'' for lewd, misogynistic and racist conduct in any workplace.
So that's how they punish their majority owner.
NBA should learn from this. A ban and $10 million fine is not enough, and what's worst is they just punished him with just 1 year so next year he can do it again.
He should step down. That's the right thing like what Jahm said in his open letter.
Just imagine how awkward it will be when he goes back and does these things again in the shadows.
597  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach 45k before this year ends. on: September 15, 2022, 03:55:02 PM
I do agree with buying now than regret later but the $45k is kind of a in a doubtful situation.
It's not that I underestimate Bitcoin because I have seen it surprise me most of the time but with how bad the economy is right now after spending the resources during the Covid pandemic, it's difficult to see a big impact that would hit cryptocurrencies in the investment perspective.
The less fortunate who had been investing small amounts are gone, all we have left are whales trying to manipulate the crypto market and they are waiting for the right time to sell. When? It will be at the time the small investors are back.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 15, 2022, 11:34:30 AM

Many are saying that the penalty for Robert Sarver is very light a $10 million fine and suspension for a year, just a walk in the park for him, and they added that Sarver should get a heavy punishment and I think once a racist will always be racist, and his punishment should be like the one the Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling got, and that is a lifetime ban, which would be fairly fitting for Sarver, but then they explained that Sarver's case is different with the Sterling case that is why they will have different punishment which is I definitely don't understand,

I read this article yesterday and thought they were hard for him to ask $10 million for just saying racist words. I guess they do this kind of stuff nowadays to further stop the racism in the US and you might get yourself in trouble when you say those words no manner what you are thinking. When they say this is really nothing to him then I won't be saying much because rich people sometimes really don't know where to spend their money anymore and though this is some kind of over penalty, it is really good if it will be donated to some foundations that are really in need of it.
Considering what happened during the bubble where most black men were fired from their jobs and others were killed, yes they are increasing the punishment for racism especially in NBA where the NBPA is pushing their rights as an American and not like a different human that is still chained in slavery.
This case about Sarver should not be missed too even if he had a good position in the Suns.
18 years as an executive, the question for me is "Why just now?"
599  Economy / Economics / Re: MAP of cbdc adoption over the world. on: September 14, 2022, 04:10:51 PM
It's okay let them do it, waste more money in projects that are not even far from using the banking system.
Then there are applications now where you can send money even with slowest internet. That's their real enemy in this business and perhaps they should just empower that and use one application that will be beneficial for the money.
I still don't understand why they are doing this. Fiat will stay and nothing can prevent that but using CBDC is not the answer to strengthen it or speed things up.
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does altcoins actually have the potentials of generating benefits to investors? on: September 13, 2022, 04:44:21 PM
You just need to find that altcoin with high volatility. That's first when it comes to trading.
Then, see to it that you can take care of it by monitoring the price movement at almost 24/7 of your life. If only your money is on the line.
Altcoins are meant to make you money in the short run, that is my opinion. It's not something to HODL at long term although there are exceptions like Ethereum.
