Have you ever been able to use novaexchange?
Yes i did. Works fine in the past for me.
I've been using moveexchange - they stopped trading just a few days ago - seems like the market still isn't active even if the wallet is online
Will be different soon i hope!
https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_XMG/

market should be open now, they sent me an email.

Cheers

I am getting a high percentage of rejects on several algos, but the rejection percent doesn't display next to the individual miner under details. Sometimes the percents just disappears, other times it slowly goes down to 0. No settings in my miners have changed. What's up with this?

I'm not sure if this would be related to higher rejects but my kernel connection tracking table to getting full and perhaps it was dropping connections. I had different values setup in the system config for when it boots but seems they were not being applied.

I changed them yesterday manually and not seen those kernel messages since. I'll need to remember to check them each time the server get rebooted.

Hi Dev ^^

Can we expect to see HashTap back?

If so, when?

Thx =)
I"m not sure yet. The functions it needs to post pool changes and login have been disabled on the webserver.

Newbie questions here:

I will have an L3+ and D3 in soon and I'd like to know the accurate URL, Username and Password combo for the L3+ and D3 for using zpool

I am guessing:

L3+
URL: stratum+tcp://scrypt.mine.zpool.ca:3433
Username: My Bitcoin Address
Password: c=BTC

D3
URL: stratum+tcp://x11.mine.zpool.ca:3533
Username: My Bitcoin Address
Password: c=BTC

Also...  In which particular case and why will I need to set a custom difficulty?  How would I know that instead of the above, I would to specify difficulty, and what would the difficulty be for an L3+ and D3?  Thanks.

-o stratum+tcp://<algo>.mine.zpool.ca:3433 -u wallet_adress -p d=64

I'll be getting my D3 later this week so not sure of what diff it should be running at, but my iBelink 11G runs well with d=54 so I suspect the D3 to be somewhere around there a well. maybe d=64

I don't have any L3's so you'll need to play with that one. I would let it try finding it's own diff.... then once you have an idea of where it should be, try setting the fixed diff around that.

Otherwise, everything looks fine with your URL's  etc...

I've re-enabled magi on the pool They've implemented new rules for PoW blocks so the luck swings will be even larger as there will be less PoW blocks the pools can fight for:

Implemented a block generation rule: PoW / PoS blocks are mined / minted by following a pattern: 1) at least two PoS blocks minted between two consecutive PoW blocks, or PoW blocks generated every 10 minutes; 2) at least one PoW block is found in five consecutive PoS blocks, or PoS blocks generated every 3 minutes;

2 pos between each pow

ok... looks like we just found a block.

so I'll leave magi running and re-enabled on www.zpool.ca

cheers

What we are seeing now is the new Pow - PoS rules being effective and keeping mining low.

I'm not worried at all

so this is normal then:

ThreadRPCServer method=submitblock
ERROR: AcceptBlock() : proof-of-work block violation (prior PoS not seen or wait 10 mins) (height = 1481839)
ERROR: ProcessBlock() : AcceptBlock FAILED

Yup, those are the rules being effective.

- Implemented a block generation rule: PoW / PoS blocks are mined / minted by following a pattern: 1) at least two PoS blocks minted between two consecutive PoW blocks, or PoW blocks generated every 10 minutes; 2) at least one PoW block is found in five consecutive PoS blocks, or PoS blocks generated every 3 minutes;

- Difficulty adjustment will be changed to four-block exponential moving average. When there is violation in aforementioned PoW / PoS generation rule, the difficulty remains unchanged.

ok... well I'll let it run for a bit longer and see if the pool gets a block...

anyone have any idea what is a good dash pool?

or are people just gonna use nicehash?

Mine will be going on www.zpool.ca but I guess I'm biased.
