Hi!, Thanks!, good to know, soooo profitability still good. I could put more rigs on it (a couple of gigs, that are currently mining ETH) but i'm not sure that LBC is more profitable than ETH right now. I'll wait then yes, even if there was another 20-25GH on the pool you'd all be laughing but we're doing fairly well for the speed we're at right now. boom, there you go. the more miners the more blocks will be found.

I dig is LBC why do I get the BTCD? -o stratum+tcp://lbry.mine.zpool.ca:3334 -u my lbc address -p my worker but i get the btcd???
You need to have c=LBC in your password for all your miners. Info is on the main page about using specific currencies. -o stratum+tcp://lbry.mine.zpool.ca:3334 -u my lbc address -p my worker c=LBC??? this? and my 500+LBC is lost? -o stratum+tcp://lbry.mine.zpool.ca:3334 -u my lbc address -p worker,c=LBC Yes, it's been converted to BTCD already. Details Extra Algo Diff ES** Hashrate* Reject* ccminer/1.8.1 c=lbry lbry 1 this ? I look wrong. whats the exchange ticker for lbry? LBC

Starting this Friday I'll be away on holiday again for ~12 days. I'll be travelling around Belgium so will have mediocre coverage but mostly just wifi hotspots.
Does anyone know if it's easy to simply buy a sim card for an iPhone 6 and just use local providers?

Hi! Question: is it me or LBC didn't find any block in the last 12 hours?, I see no payments of any kind (any status) and I am still mining at 0.8 GH with three rigs. is this because of variance or the coin tanked variance grasshopper, variance. It's been 19h since last block and at current speed & diff it is estimated to find a block in 12h. I'm thinking another block will pop soon.

I don't have this address BTCD means my LBC with BTCD is lost You can try this and see if it works for you: In your LBC wallet you can: dumpprivkey <address you were using> Then install BTCD wallet and import that privkey: importprivkey <address you were using> and you may be able to recover the BTCD.

Since yesterday everything in my wallet is calculated in SYS! I didn't make changes in my settings! here is the screenshot paste your command line.. im guessing its in there.. I'm using Baikal miner: URL stratum+tcp://quark.mine.zpool.ca:4033 ALGO quark USER 1JWTPPa47ChmGHn4LUbv35E9A1hECFXoVB PASS x Make sure you have your pass include your desired currency: x,c=BTC Many wallets use the same address version and it's important you do it every time. Tried! No change! Payments to this address remains in SYS I just switched to multialgo on another BTC address and all is working fine by now my current pass for the 6 algos is: x11=1,x13=1,x14=1,x15=1,qubit=1,quark=1 your miner connection actually shows: SYS Sys (SYS) 1JWTPPa47ChmGHn4LUbv35E9A1hECFXoVB c=BSTY (78.83.*.*) and 1JWTPPa47ChmGHn4LUbv35E9A1hECFXoVB is not a valid BSTY address so it fails that, then the first wallet to validate 1JWTPPa47ChmGHn4LUbv35E9A1hECFXoVB is SYS. Just make sure you're using the correct setting for the address you want to get paid in or strange things can happen.

BTW, i been keeping track of my payouts on the SHA256 pool for a few days and its right on the money.. mining bitcoin id be making 0.007404 and here i am making 0.01198145 a day.. not too bad..
so im guessing whatever coin we were mining that wasnt paying us, got purged when you took the dead coins out of the pool few days ago.
Thanks for confirming this. Thats the only change recently.

My miners can not connect to your pool since hours. They use the correct ports and no changes were made. What is up? Pity, I have to use another pool unitil you have fixed the problem...
I've posted many times that the host names have changed. they need to be <algo>.mine.zpool.ca SHA: sha256.mine.zpool.ca SCRYPT scrypt.mine.zpool.ca and so on...
|
|
|
Port redirects for SHA256/X11/SCRYPT are no longer active. Make sure you've updated your miners to be using the proper hosts.
Cheers

It's pathetic, too because some of us actually have coins sitting in this pool that were never paid out although it was requested. So basically the owners of the pool stole money from us that isn't theirs. What a scam.
There were many warnings about this pool, its your own fault you kept using this pool. feel free to drop by www.zpool.ca, payouts every 6 hours if you meet min 0.005 and everything 0.0005+ paid every Sunday. Cheers

hehehe - hell no ... i have a great deal of respect for both you - and the work you put into the community called zpool ... if i were grammatically incompetent as this guy - i would probably shoot myself in the leg and call it a day ... tho he did try - and i do ( purposely ) misspell words ... i have nothing to do with either the review page - or the comment ( people call THAT a review? ) that was left ... besides - i ALWAYS post as chrysophylax ( or chrysophylax69 if i couldnt get the original name ) - and only as crysx here due to the kerfuffle with my original profile 'chrysophylax' ... soon - all posts will be done through ( and with ) chainworks industries ( cwi ) ... ALL posts ... no - you have been a good dev and a good pool for the granite and ozziecoin communities - and when i asked for removal due to the high hashrates zpool has ( driving diff skywards ) - you responded with speed and the respect i expected from you as a quality dev ... if there was a way to track people like this - there would much much MUCH less scam posts - and scam people in this community ... I am not on here as often as i like now - due to work commitments - but will always check in ... btw - thefarm STILL uses zpool as a primary pool to mine with ... #crysx thnx for clarifying thought it was a bit off

Yes, I know the "official" NMC repo doesn't have it, hence why I didn't bother linking it. What I'm talking about is that fork has NMC patched and has getblocktemplate enabled. snailbrain said a couple years ago they didn't know how to do that and that NMC didn't. So now, I've shown a working NMC repo and thought I'd pass it along and ask that HUC do the same? I'd like it add it to my pool, but HUC needs updating...
Does Huntercoin Core have getblocktemplate?
No. The official Namecoin repository had getblocktemplate, but we decided to disable it due to compatibility issues with a planned upcoming fork and BIP9 (we decided to re-enable it "soon", but that has not yet been done). The repo you linked to is outdated, and thus still has the "non disabled" getblocktemplate. Huntercoin Core will do the same as Namecoin Core, which means that it currently does not have getblocktemplate but will have in a few weeks. (With the caveat that you need to manually fix the returned blocks to be valid merge-mined blocks.) thnx

Guys,
when I try to start stratum with huntercoind I get this error:
2014-02-03 10:26:09,764 ERROR mining # CoinD does not support getblocktemplate!!! (time to upgrade.)
Can you support getblocktemplate, or is something else wrong?
namecoin/huntercoin does not have getblocktemplate but, maybe there is some trick or patch - possibly some big btc pools have some idea - (with merged mining btc + nmc) for now will have to wait - maybe will add in the future There is... NMC I just installed has getblocktemplate... maybe you can check it out and update HUC? https://github.com/UNOMP/namecoin-corebeen 2 years now after all Not sure what you are talking about - Namecoin Core (whose official repository is not the one you linked) has getblocktemplate disabled, although we are thinking about re-enabling it. We also already have an updated version of HUC, called Huntercoin Core. Check out my posts a bit up in the thread about that. Yes, I know the "official" NMC repo doesn't have it, hence why I didn't bother linking it. What I'm talking about is that fork has NMC patched and has getblocktemplate enabled. snailbrain said a couple years ago they didn't know how to do that and that NMC didn't. My comment on the whole "incorrect estimates" part: (gloves coming off)
I don't see anyone blaming Crackfoo for the problem, But I am blaming him for not taking the issue seriously. I've seen absolutely no interest from him to either investigate it or fix it. I even offered to help but no response. Users deserve an explanation. Are estimates incorrect or is someone skimming? The fact that the deficit is so consistent around 20% is also suspicious of a systemic problem. It is likely not a coincidence it's an order of magnitude bigger than the fee. Are we paying 20% fees due to a misplaced decimal point? It's been discussed before and as I said then, I'm not a developer and the src is there and to help if anyone knows anything better. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1260863.msg13835948#msg13835948
