Crackfoo, are you going to drop payment support of BTCD next month when the Komodo ICO starts?

why would I do that?

BTCD devs have all said they do not have the time to support BTCD anymore since it can not do what they needed it to do for Supernet. That is why they created Komodo, to be BTCD's replacement. Though it is true none have outright said they are not going to continue development; although James did say he would pass BTCD's code on to a new dev team and get them up to speed with the coin if the community could find one...

ohh... bleh thats just lovely. I guess I will.

On a similar note, I've been tossing around the idea of dropping the PoS coins altogether. I haven't been able to find someone willing to help me automate it.

got disconnected several times in the last hour or so, everything ok with the sha256 pool?

Last stop causeConnection failed: Connection refused

should be ok now. looks like it was someone misusing the diff settings.

if you dont want to compare them to "realtime pps" at least compare them on zpool itself, the api and the pool itself (described in multialgo switching on zpool.ca) serve different algos based on profitability, which is not giving appropriate results estimates

Why is my hash rate dropping about 10% after 8 hours? Is that any problem with the pool or am I doing something wrong?

not sure. what algo are you using? haven't seen any other reports of similar issues.

skein. Miner says 520 and on my wallet page is approx 500. but after 8 hours it starts dropping to 420. I have tried different miners from tpruvot or klausT but that is even worse. These miners hashing 450 or 520 respectively but on the wallet page there is only 360 or 420 respectively. I have Gigabyte gtx 1070 G1 and Pentium G3220 with 8GB RAM.

are you using a specific diff or allowing it to auto adjust?

multiply each estimate *0.65 before posting and everyone will be happy to see growing cleared earnings Grin
probably less miners though  Wink

really though.

I guess if you didn't get the jist of what I was saying the short version is. If you don't want to get PAID more than other pools, you may want to look into switching.

just switch, answer to the problem doesnt matter, just switch, i am seeing that it doesnt matter about some miners, just switch, cause you have plenty of miners on the pool that will fill your pockets so it doesnt matter, starting to sound a lot like corporate or walmart or something lol, if you dont like it switch, to big to give a real reason. i will switch now problem, without trust there is nothing guys i hope it works out for you, happy mining

no, just tired of the broken fuckin record. The code is there, I didn't build it, nor am I a developer and nor did the current dev build it. If you know where the issue is, submit the code fix to the open source repo and I'll happily pull and merge it into zpool.

I have nicehash miners running now almost since the pool started and the continue to earn so it's not really my problem to cradle everyones testicles to make them feel good. The pool is profitable so if you can't figure out how to do it properly why am I responsible? Whats the secret? Hire a developer to build you your own intelligent bot.

Since the interest and profitability for myr-gr, sib, c11, veltor and lbry has been low the past 30-60 days I'll be considering dropping them at the end of the month.

seriously it kind of doesnt really matter.. the estimate is irreverent..

you look at the paid balance and there you go.

you can work out easily how much you make per day.. take that as a reality not an estimate.

Your quite right. The estimates are nearly anecdotal but seems to be the problem so I think the best way to solve that is redesign the front end with a minimalistic style of earnings displays.

I've not seen anyone complaining what they get paid in the end? Aside from them not getting paid exactly their estimate. Which if they did would make zpool payout 20-30% more than any other pool? Which is really quite impossible without me doing it for charity and constantly paying  out of my 9-5 pocket. Sorry I'm not hear for that. I'm running the pool src as it is and considering its nuances with the complexities involved in tracking and paying out thousands of miners everyday in 150+ including BTC. I think it's working pretty well.

It's like anything in the consumer market, the absolute best price is shown,  but is not always what reality is but if the bottom line beats all the rest... Enjoy.

joule says it needs updated and its currently top profitable coin.. just checking to make sure we arent mining something that wont pay us.

I'm not aware of any updates for joule. Not sure why it reports that error.  If you look in the explorer you can see all the wallet versions. Pretty sure we're on the latest.

Hi crackfoo,

I have solved  my diff problem eliminating decred algo  from the scrypt. Seems that put it on the multialgo hash power setting generate some kind of problem. Sentence was:

Quote
SET PASS=%ID%c=DGB,skein=173,x11evo=4.66,lyra2v2=14.1,x17=3.14,neoscrypt=0.387,myr-gr=25.8,blake2s=0.685,nist5=16.7,c11=5.00,lbry=90.8,decred=1.02,stats

Do you see something incorrect in the algo name or similar??

Thanks

hrmm this was a problem before since it was simply matching the first character (d)ecred and taking it for the diff. thought Epsylon3 fixed that...

Block explorer doesn't seem to be up to date, or is the chain experiencing problems?

We have a basic explorer here:

www.zpool.ca/explorer/VLT

Looks to be about 35m since last block is all.

Crackfoo, veltor is on Yobit, so is it OK to mine now with c=BTC?

Yup! Feel free to jack this into your multi algo scripts now.

Starting this Friday I'll be away on holiday again for ~12 days. I'll be travelling around Belgium so will have mediocre coverage but mostly just wifi hotspots.

Does anyone know if it's easy to simply buy a sim card for an iPhone 6 and just use local providers?

I use a no call card of this type in my last travel to Japan (with the advantage that in Japan I didn't have any limitation in consumed bandwith by the provider) and the result was really, really good. DOn't know the Belgium company, but probably you have a lot of reviews in the net.

https://www.prepaidzero.com/product/belgium-2gb-prepaid-sim/

OoO thanks for that. I'm guessing I'd need an unlocked phone as well.. hrmmm
