i have allways 100% usage on cpu. how i can fix that? Use latest cgminer 2.6.1 and run with --scrypt option I get about 8kh/s on my 7970 with cgminer and --scrypt... Did you set your shader count? Once I set shaders, -g and intensity I was up around 260kh/s. What intensity were you using? 12 Try intensity 18.

i have allways 100% usage on cpu. how i can fix that? Use latest cgminer 2.6.1 and run with --scrypt option i fixed the cpu problem in reaper. i have 2x 6950 and im thinking which miner i should use? cgminer or reaper? what is that "--scrypt option" in cgminer? thanks for helping a noob Try using cgminer, it's more stable. The --scrypt option in cgminer is to tell it you want to mine litecoins instead of bitcoins. You also have to specify the shader count of your card. If you have trouble getting cgminer working, post your config and we can help you, or you can use cgEasy.

i will look into it... seems after the diff increased so much tyhe estimates might be a bit off was bit fast made in first round anyway ill check share count on the block for you get back to you tho Now after the diff has gone down from 10 to 8, the pool seem to give even less... At ~800khash, I've got ~4.5LTC per block, now the pool gives me estimate about 2.5LTC... Reward from block has nothing to do with difficulty, it is what percent of the total mining hash rate you have in comparison to everyone else on the pool at that moment.

I personally think the only thing about the ASIC Jalepeno that isn't going to deliver is the coffee warmer part. The hashing power, as I see it, is possible, but good luck warming a coffee cup on a USB3.0. Espresso maybe?
You'd have to do better than that. We have gone to great length explaining why we think BFLs numbers are fallacious. So you better address those arguments or at least provide some of your own. Basically as said before, they could be using multiple chips, each chip with only a 3-5x performance increase over FPGA, which seems logical and perfectly possible in an ASIC. 5W may seem pretty hopeful, but I bet they can pull it off. ASIC chips can, as I've heard, deal with pretty high temps, so cooling won't be quite as important, meaning the fan would have a lower powerdraw. I'm no expert at all, and the power draw does seem a bit low, however I can certainly see a 3-5x performance increase to ASIC chips, even with a bit older of a production technique (like 130).

As well, coblee can't just make the litecoins out of thin air, he is buying them on the exchanges, meaning that, in the end, every week the interest in BTC is used to buy LTC, increasing the price of LTC, perhaps quite significantly if this service really catches on. I'd invest in something like this, but I only have like 25 BTC.

Using guiminer and want to switch to a more powerful, robust, faster miner without having to learn all the technical details? Hello! A week or so ago, I created a simple program called cgEasy, it held the user's hand through the creation of a .bat file to start cgminer up for Litecoin mining, and since I already had the program made, I figured I'd just port it over to bitcoin mining instead. It's written in java, and launches at the click of a button. To use, just drag it into your cgminer folder (so it is in the same folder as cgminer.exe) and double-click the jar file What you need: 1.) Card worth mining on 2.) Know name of card (and my program will help you with overclocking if you want, it will tell you the default clock and memory speeds of your card) 3.) Java installed 4.) Cgminer downloaded/extracted 5.) Account with pool/solomining set up How to use: Download cgEasyB.jar (B stands for Bitcoin, my other version is for Litecoin, using Scrypt) Drag to cgminer folder Double-click -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Download: (compiled jar file): http://www.mediafire.com/?l46k9ao2f20664pDownload: (source code): http://www.mediafire.com/?zkj5s3lzsc1rc07cgminer forum link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.0cgminer download link: http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/cgminer-2.6.1-win32.zip-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------What does the program do?--Allows you to customize what color the background and font of cgminer is --Allows "shortcutting" to pools (enter btcguild, knows you mean http://mine.btcguild.com:8332). ------>Supported Pools for shortcutting: btcguild, deepbit, slush, ozcoin, eclipse, MtRed, BitMinter, Eligius, 50BTC (if pool you want to use isn't listed here, you merely have to type the full address) (If you are a pool operator and you want your pool shortcut here, just let me know and I'll add it in the next release ) --Does the work of finding out what core clocks your gpu has. It asks what card you have, you type in whatever it is (say 5970, or 6990M) and it looks in it's almost 200-gpu database. --If the card name you enter isn't recognized, you can enter oc info manually, no problem. --Standalone, doesn't require any dependencies (aside from java) --Adds ".bat" to filename if you don't add it. --Allows overclocking of your GPU --Tells you what default clock settings are of your GPU so you can decide --Allows overvolting --Allows setting custom fan control percentage --Setup a port to scan for FPGA on Screenshots: FAQ:1.) How should I format the name of my GPU when I enter it?If you have, for example, a 5970, you could either enter: 5970 or ATI5970 (caps don't matter). With a mobile processor, say a Mobility Radeon HD 3650, you would put 3650M or M3650. (basically, just the number, plus an 'm' if it is a mobile card). 2.) Do you have a copy of the source code I can compile myself in case I want to change something or just make sure the code isn't doing anything malicious?http://www.mediafire.com/?zkj5s3lzsc1rc07 3.) Can I add things to the finished bat?4.) Does this work on Mac or Linux?cgEasyB will RUN on mac/linux, however it generates .bat files, which are a Windows thing. Yeah, just open the generated .bat file with notepad. 5.) Do you plan on making a linux version?Probably not. Most people using Linux probably wouldn't use a program like this anyhow. 6) Does this support overclocking? The generated .bat file will work fine with an OC'd GPU, or you can set custom OC using my program. 7.) When does the overclock/overvolt apply? The overclocking and overvolting settings apply and begin affecting the card once the generated .bat file from my application is run. Full output sample of program: Welcome to Vorksholk's cgEasy v1.0.1B! What color do you want the background to be? 0 = Black 1 = Dark Blue 2 = Green 3 = Light Blue 4 = Red 5 = Purple 6 = Yellow 7 = White 8 = Gray 9 = Sky Blue A = Light Green B = Light Aqua C = Light Red D = Light Purple E = Light Yellow F = Bright White

If you do not know what you are doing with overclocking, do NOT use this feature! In the making of this software, I programmed in the default core and memory clocks for the almost 200 supported GPUs. Please double-check the info provided if you would like. No guarantees I didn't make a typo. what is this Pirate Pass Through all about? many of my friends is talking about it, but i can't seem to find some good info about. can someone tell mere about?, i'll love to support, but i also won't to know what i'm doing Essentially Pirateat40 runs a deposit system that pays up to 7% weekly on deposits (so if you put in 100BTC, in 1 week you could have 107, although you need large amounts to invest directly with him). People who do have accounts with him give passthroughs, where you deposit your 100BTC with them, they deposit it in pirate at 7%, and they pay you a certain amount (hashking gives 6.75%, Bitcoinmax.com 6.9%). Coblee is providing a service to do a pirate passthrough with bitcoins, but pay out the weekly interest in litecoins, a very cool idea.

The fastest way to get an estimate of how many LTC your xkH/s will mine is simply divide your kH by the difficulty

Nope, that's not correct. That is not your withdrawal address, plus look at the date. Check again. PM me if you need any help. Ahh good point, sorry for the confusion.

Deposit returned when expected, and depositor even took my deposit 1 day late!

Hello! Today I put in some time to develop a tool to make it much easier for users to solo-mine litecoins. I call it AutoSolo. It is a simple jar file that you download, put in it's own folder, and double-click. From there, the program downloads cgminer and litecoin, starts the litecoin-qt client in server mode after creating litecoin.conf in your AppData/Roaming/Litecoin directory (creating the litecoin folder if it isn't already there), guides you through the creation of a cgminer startup script, and at the end leaves you with two folders and two bat files in that same folder you started off--a .bat file to start cgminer using your config for solomining, and a .bat file for launching the litecoin client in server mode. All in less than 5 minutes and less than 10 clicks. Full post, images, description, source and executable downloads, tutorial available at http://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,54! Let me know if you have any issues with getting it running or would like to see any features in it.
