1461  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin ever be safe for any investment ? on: November 15, 2017, 04:49:26 PM
Safety assurance might be considered as our top priorities when it comes into investment. Because I'm pretty not all investment can provide this, but with bitcoin you can certainly found it. It has been proven for how many years and nobody can take it down. Though some of us are experiencing of being hack by but it is in minimal only. And this is all happen because of being careless in their keys.

I agree, bitcoin exist for years now and its already proven that its safe for investment. Those early adopters already enjoying their profits from investing in bitcoin way way back so I know its very safe to invest on it. And the best part is bitcoin price is increasing yearly which is very good for investors
Those early investors are just lucky that they do get in on the earliest days of bitcoin which they would really able to see their investment grows for how many thousands now but reality thing on here is that theres no such safe investment knowing that bitcoin can anytime crash its price which would really lead up on huge loss on most people who did invest on peak prices which means theres always a risk if you didnt get in on the right time specially if you do short tradings then you will most likely suffer this one.
1462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Optioment.com Scam? Or the best trader ever? on: November 14, 2017, 09:06:31 PM
It looks like you advertising you website badcoins. Don't fool us here in bitcointalk.

This seems to be the new method for spamming ponzi sittes. The owner of the site will post links to their websites asking the forum if they were legit, knowing fully well they are not but hoping to snare a couple of gulible "investors"
If you did actually tried to read up on the link it is not actually a ponzi site but a list of those ponzi being listed there the main thing here is that they somehow advertise on the site that they do mention just pretending that they are asking but on newbie minds will really fall specially the greedy ones. 2% on weekly basis profits is too big and too good to be true which is really a scam.
1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam on: November 14, 2017, 07:42:35 PM
The best strategy is not to invest in ICOs. You can always invest later once it is available for trading and/or once the project proves itself.
The best strategy is to decide from case to case what the best strategy is.
We should really have always a basis if we do invest or not and as you said decision would really depend on the situation.Even though most ICO nowadays are scams but there are still some project which are really worth to join to which means we should really be careful on selecting and analyzing which one is it but this would really be a tough job for us.
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: November 14, 2017, 03:58:11 PM
I do think that bitcoin is sound money since even though the value either increases or decreases due to supply and demand(like gold). I do like the fact that bitcoin can be transferred faster than gold(depending on where you and the buyer lives). I don't like the fact that sending bitcoins has a fee but I suppose that there is no way around that. I wonder what will happen when the maximum amount of bitcoin has been mined.
For me bitcoin is sound money, Because value of bitcoin is getting higher in the near future. And if you will willing to wait and satisfied the value then you can sell your bitcoin. And some of the bank now accept bitcoin and someday you can buy stuff using bitcoin.
It is money. Why do people in this thread seem to not understand, and it also seem that they don't have the knowledge they need in order for them to comprehend to the situation that everytime we use Bitcoin, we are doing something like what Money do. And obviously it is money, its just that they exist in a different dimensions; physically and digitally.
It is indeed money since we can able to exchange it on our local fiat money and there are situation on where we can able to make use of our bitcoin on purchasing something online or any services but only possible on some countries or places which do accept or adopt bitcoin. I dont know for those people who dont hear about bitcoin as money. It do sounds money but on those people who dont know about bitcoin then  expect what would be their answer and their own choice.
1465  Economy / Economics / Re: How to train your money for costly bitcoin? on: November 13, 2017, 06:18:08 PM
Given the situation of bitcoin prices are growing higher and more higher since last few weeks is becoming more and more difficult to keep up with the regular small fixed amount of purchase. Earlier for 100 dollars a month or bimonthly I was able to see the reasonable amount of bitcoin ( or should I say satoshis). Nowadays the prices have gone high which feels real good for existing amount purchased so far. However at the same time getting clueless about how much should be put aside for regular bitcoin purchase. Because for 100 dollars the amount of satoshis we get is nothing.
What do you think how to tackle the problem of investing in bitcoin on regular basis with prices going high and higher?
Get used to it since you cant change anything and we do know prices would really be not the same anytime on bitcoin on which if we did tend to buy $100 before and after we would really able to point out on whats their difference and decision if we do tend to convert it basing on the monetary value of our own currency before you do put some money or you would just decide to follow your old traditional ways of buying bitcoin.
1466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin comeback? on: November 13, 2017, 04:29:54 PM
Bitcoin seems to be trading in the $6000 to $6500 range. I can't see it breaking out of that - we'd need some big positive new. Either that the Lightning networks were ready and usable (which they're not at the moment) or a consensys blocksize increment (bringing back segwit2x) or the futures thing actually gets going.
I think miners and traders are now moving back as they already gain a lots of money with that bitcoin cash drama looks very familiar moves when the forks approached before after this we will see another new height, bitcoin really a profitable investments in the long run.
The hype is over on bitcoin cash and now people are going back to bitcoin again as we can see on its price it did able to recover again and climbing up to reach the 7k price point which i do eagerly to see for that thing to happen since i did able to bought cheap bitcoins below 6k price which i am already on profits now and luckily i did able to ride with the waves and now making money on doing short trades.
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SNOV.io decentralized lead generation service on: November 10, 2017, 06:43:15 AM
The team is very active. There is no such thing as collecting money, the promise of burning tokens is given. They already have a functioning system. This project can be a nice surprise when it enters the stock market process. But today they have invested only about 6000 dollars, it is getting slower.

Yeah I mean if they don't burn the tokens then hell will break out. I is a promise they have to stick to or otherwise people will just leave it and there will be zero demand for this.
They will surely burn it after iCO maybe, some projects and Ico burns amount that are not bought while ICO runs, i thing snov team will do that way too.if not they might have other reasons to keep, soon they might update us since they are always active.
They would surely burn those tokens if unsold because keeping it wont really be nice on the eyes of its investors. It would really be meant to be burn for sure. I don't know whats their decision hopefully they would do the same thing.
1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs for investment on: November 09, 2017, 06:55:41 AM
anyone give some info about ICOs?
whats the category of good and bad ICO for investment?
how to detect it SCAM or NOT?
Speaking of ICO's? There are lots actually and almost they do pop out on daily basis. Detecting which is scam or not? Then it is totally depending on investors research skills because no one would able to identify which one is good and which is bad this is why investing on ICO do really have the risk on losing money if you are not careful on choosing one this is why we should really need to investigate if a certain project do have a potential or not.
1469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10k before or after fork on: November 09, 2017, 03:34:46 AM
What fork are you talking about? If you are talking about the segwit fork, then let me tell you that it has been cancelled yesterday, and everybody is aware of that, you are not going to receive free coins and bitcoin is not going to be upgraded because this whole project has been rejected from the blockchain community, and there is no way that it can be implemented.
Maybe they are considering to do it in five months from now, but nobody knows exactly what is going to happen with segwit.
Maybe hes not informed yet and didnt even read the recent updates about the fork thats why its still proper to tell him so that he would able to know and wouldnt really expect that there still a fork on this month of november. Just have some anticipation on the past that this fork will really not get the support that they do need and i justified my own observations. We wont really know on when but for sure it would be moved out either on upcoming months to come but who knows?
1470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best way of getting profit after few years, purchase ETH or ICOS ? on: November 09, 2017, 03:03:41 AM
Please comment your choice.
I would go for ETH and on some ICO which means i would really go for both but majorly on ETH since we know this is one of the best altcoin as of now in the ranking which we can really presume that it is stong compared on some altcoins in the market and talking about ICO investment you can possibly get some profits if you do hit the right project but as of the current state on where there are lots of ico launched recently then i can say the chance on getting profits is somehow dimmed.
1471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning a Living from Altcoins on: November 08, 2017, 06:04:13 PM
Please how can I earn some money with Altcoins. I am new and clueless. I don't have resources to mine Altcoins but I am really interested in earning some money. Thank you.
Its not an ideal thing for you to think off that this kind of thing because trading wont really guarantee you that you can able to make a living with it because we do know that our profits wont really be constant because theres no such perfect trader and talking about altcoin it would really be risky because it is more volatile than bitcoin itself which means we cant really be sure on selecting which one. Treat this as a side income not making it on a main source.
1472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Resistance level of BTC on: November 06, 2017, 06:05:44 PM
What resistance levels do you have for BTC, and at which level would you buy a lot of BTC if it got there?
When we do say about resistance level then we should see the ATH since thats the point on where the price didnt able to break out which means resistance if we do base on technical terms and you wont really be dumb on buying on those resistance levels and now we should really wait for the pullback or price corrections after the fork event because this is the time on where prices would really be cheap and the best time to buy cheaper coins.
1473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price Worth $7500 on: November 06, 2017, 04:10:39 PM
That's a good news for going up of Bitcoin. All people who invest in Bitcoin now are hoping that result. With altcoins, I don't think that they will recover soon.
They will recover soon and you would able to witness that thing after the fork when people are already cashouting their free money came from b2x which do normally happen after a fork which we already witness on past forks.Alts do actually recover after the event but gladly to see bitcoins price did able to hit up new heights on a short period of time.I do really hope and making some targets on hitting $10k price soon.
1474  Economy / Economics / Re: Best strategy to profit from crash on: November 03, 2017, 01:44:09 PM
I will be honest, I regret the day that I did not start with bitcoin. It was in the very early days, value was still around $1. But I calculated that the costs of mining would exceed the value of the coin. Then around 2011 I had some money to 'invest' and considered bitcoin. I don't even want to calculate the value it would be now, that's just frustrating  Grin. But hindsight is always easy. If we could look into the future we would all be millionaires the next day.

But I could not stop following it because I like the technology and also the economic aspect. So I believe the point of investment is just gone. Even if it go's up to 100.000 this still would 'only' be about 10 times the value now, so not the mega profit from the early days.

But I'm convinced that bitcoin will crash some day. Not because of envy, but there are a lot of things pointing to a tipping point. A bubble for sure. The question is when will people realize this and when will the fall start.

So I'm pretty sure about this and this time I don't want to miss this opportunity. The question is, what would be the best strategy to profit from this crash? I thought CFD's and short-selling, but when it go's up a lot, I don't have the equity to hold the positions and they will be terminated/margin call. Also I don't trust the brokers, will they pay when the fall is huge?

We can discuss about a crash yes or no, but for me this is not a question anymore. The only question is, how can I make sure not to regret this opportunity this time.

The thing here is that all of us dont really know on what would happen on next day and talking about crash its possible in anything either on forex, stocks and also to bitcoin which isnt really an exception. The important thing here is that we should really knowledgeable on the possible moves that we would do. Missing out golden opportunities cant really be avoided since we are just humans.
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SNOV.io decentralized lead generation service on: November 03, 2017, 08:48:04 AM
The amount of investment in two days is similar. Is not updated instantly? or is it fixed investment?

I am sure you have collected much more investment. Smiley
Im confused on what you are trying to say here. If you do base on the token sale it do have significant bonus on each week and if you do mean on the bar meter then it would really update instantly on how much funds been raised already.Talking now they are already getting $730k+ on their token sale along with their presale sold tokens.
1476  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin rise to $500k in three years? on: November 02, 2017, 11:52:54 AM
So guys, what do you think about McAfee prediction - will Bitcoin jump to $500 000 till August 2020?
$500k on 3 years time? Not possible even if we do compare on the current rally on bitcoins price as of now then it wont still really be sufficient enough to reach out that peak price since its really too much to consider.
Even talking on 20k usd would really be already hard for sure. Adoption is still on the move this is why we can still hope for more price increase compared to its current price.
1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CARTAXI is a SCAM. Please don't invest in it again. on: November 02, 2017, 09:46:28 AM
I didn't like it from the first sight. Their bounty brogram offers too much for legit project. It's strange but at ICORating the risk scope of this project is low.
This is my first impression on the project which those bounty % allocated on its marketing seems too good to be true but yet it did able to deceive me to participate on signature and for 8 weeks time turns out to be a waste of effort since they did change the allocation after they did able to hit the hardcap.Lots of people on bounty section do really get frustrated on such decision.
1478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret when it comes to Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 05:51:55 AM
I'll start off with some of my biggest regrets, and the one which I am most upset about is selling my Bitcoin early. I was one of the people who were able to get into Bitcoin around the price of $400-600, and at that time I even owned a couple of Bitcoins. I saw some profits and I sold off all of my Bitcoin, I was too scared to expose myself to the risk of being involved in Bitcoin and I got out. I would've loved to have a couple thousand dollars laying around, but that's me.

Also, gambling. I gambled a good amount with the bitcoins that I had at the $400-600 mark, if I would have that back now it'd be worth a fortune.

Anyone here have any regrets?
I can say that most common regret on here is that we didnt even tried out to buy bitcoin when it was still cheap wayback on previous years. Those regrets cant really be avoided since we did already witness on how did bitcoin able to manage to increase its price in a matter of 8 years. We would really think that if we did able to come in earlier we are probably rich as of now.
1479  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: November 02, 2017, 04:45:54 AM
Bitcoin doesn't reduce unemployment but bitcoin reduce the poor people. Bitcoin help people out from the current econony system that use fiat as currency, this is bad. Why?  Because the inflations is like country government takes the value of our money without our permission.
Yes that you can say that. Actually poverty will not be going to end in any way. Either bitcoin develops in everything, or government starts taking steps about it. Still you can’t just end up poverty. But yes, there are so many people who have developed their financial status just because of this. So yes, bitcoin have played an important rule for eradicating poverty so far.
Proverty just right when you do not have any chance to make money. Therefore, if Bitcoin can become famous in the unemployed community, I think we will not see they are still the unemployed in future. Bitcoin can provide many opportunities and anyone can also get these opportunities.
Yes there are a lot of people who are financially well just because of this coin and more of it bitcoin has so much attraction that people are investing in it and doing trading while doing jobs and as in past many had left their jobs and yes at some extent bitcoin is reducing unemployment and those who have skills they are doing online campaigns to earn in bitcoin and that is giving benefits to a lot of people on globe.
This is really an opportunity for those people who do have idea or knowledge on tech but for those people who dont have any idea then  its really a miss opportunity for them to make money and do changed their financial state.Im once a person who dont have job but luckily my friend did introduce to me about bitcoin and i decided to get serious with it and now im earning sufficient.
1480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: November 01, 2017, 04:01:53 PM
There are several rules of thumb that are widely said, but unfortunately we donīt always follow. One of them is we should reinvest part of the earning. Itīs also a mistake to reinvest 100%. Another point to be taken is that the market is hard to beat. So we are daytrading like hell, loosing sleep hours, and when the maths is done, we may have been winning, but not as much as we would for just holding. Because in these markets BTC is skyrockting so sometimes is very difficult to overcame that  growth and beat it.
I have problem with greedy. The good rule is not reinvest 100% of profit but i am always fall in the same hole many time. Now i am trying to skip greedy.
Holding bitcoin or any other altcoins are test you how long your patience growth, sometimes even the price of crypto currency are not right due to they want to earn income they sell it immediately then we realized when bitcoin raised up that if I wait for a few days or weeks my earnings will become more expensive at all.
All the people who have invested in bitcoin want to earn more and more money, and the reason is to overcome all their financial problems in the present and in the future. If I have problems in this day I will definitely sell some of my bitcoins to easily cover my financial difficulties and to hold some for my future purposes. The more bitcoin I hold the more profit I will earn in the future. Time is money.

This is what im doing which i do really make use on my bitcoin holding or even on altcoin for long term and i do only cash out when i do need some money on some crucial or emergency situations which if theres only some situation that it isnt really necessary to get some then i wont really do it. Trading and holding do really need patience.Depending on which coin you do hold up.
