1461  Economy / Lending / Re: 1 btc loan needed - multiple investors ok - possible high payout on: January 09, 2016, 04:43:52 AM
You can't  read I guess. Its more like a 70% chance than zero. I ❤ trollers
Oh and by the way he's the one who just gave me the negative trust with zero knowledge of me. Thanks buddy ! High five !

Wrong on so many levels.  You do not have a 70% chance of 20X'ing your money.  That is impossible and the casinos would close if this were possible.
Second, I was not the first one to give you negative trust, you had another one on there from someone who didn't trust you.  So that is two times being wrong in less than 40 words.

I have all the knowledge of you that I need to accurately say that no one should trust you with any money and you probably don't have a higher education than high school.  So I put this challenge out there and if you can prove me wrong, I will change my trust to positive, delete my posts, and send you 5 btc to use in your gambling scheme.

Its a very simple challenge, prove to me, mathematically, how you have a 70% chance of turning 1 btc into 20 btc.
1462  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2 x Antminer C1 with complete Cooling systems. Ready to Ship from USA. on: January 09, 2016, 03:59:37 AM
How much were you looking to get for the C1's?  My brother is looking to expand his mining operation and these would make a nice addition at the right price.
1463  Economy / Lending / Re: 1 btc loan needed - multiple investors ok - possible high payout on: January 09, 2016, 03:57:46 AM
As you already said, this is ridiculous and has no chance of happening.  You are offering zero collateral and on top of that, you are telling people your going to gamble with it.  Sounds like you have a problem and need to find some help.

Obviously this user shouldn't be trusted with any amount of loan.  Do not send OP anything since you have a zero percent chance of getting it back.
1464  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice Stats - Playing on Better Bets off Moneypot on: January 09, 2016, 03:55:34 AM
Again, don't be greedy.  You can't sustain a win streak forever.  Walk away with your profit, it will be much sweeter than when you hit that loss streak and give it all back.

1466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the danger of buying Bitcoins with ID from a bank? on: January 09, 2016, 03:46:20 AM
As long as your not doing anything illegal it really shouldn't matter if you give them your ID or not.

of course, but becuase of the stigma around bitcoins I would prefer to avoid unwanted attention from the "authority." I guess that would be my concern.

Ok, then don't use a bank transfer.  Localbitcoins is a great way to get bitcoins, you will be paying a higher premium though, so that's the other side to consider.  You could also try buying giftcards (such as WalMart) and selling them on the forums, although it could be tough with a newbie account as trust is a pretty big factor.

EDIT:  BTW, the only time the authorities would get your information is if there was a need for it.  Just because the bank takes your ID, doesn't mean they send it to any government agency.  They simply do it incase the government comes asking (which in my opinion, if your just transferring money to an exchange or something, there is a very very almost zero small chance it would be an issue.)
1467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the danger of buying Bitcoins with ID from a bank? on: January 09, 2016, 03:37:06 AM
Hello,

I live in a small town where Bank of America, Credit Unions and other lesser known banks are. BoA was pretty much my go to place since they were the only ones who didn't require ID but they do now (as of November). I just want to know what the dangers are of presenting my ID to the teller and what they do with the information.

Are there any other safe alternatives? I don't know how safe it is to meet the seller in person with cash for a bitcoin transaction

They need to keep a record of transactions and information about the person for KYC purposes.  It basically is to make sure that the money isn't being used illegally and that the proper taxes are assessed.  As long as your not doing anything illegal it really shouldn't matter if you give them your ID or not.

Localbitcoins is a great way to buy bitcoins with cash.  I probably meet someone every other day and have never had a problem.  You just have to find a trustworthy person and meet in a public space.  I always meet at McDonalds and just sit in clear view of the counter.  Always goes flawlessly.
1468  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (WTS) Bunch Of Old Mining and Networking Equipment, Accessories, and Other on: January 09, 2016, 01:18:04 AM
Where are you shipping from?

Shipping will be from 66062 in KS
1469  Economy / Computer hardware / (WTS) Bunch Of Old Mining and Networking Equipment, Accessories, and Other on: January 08, 2016, 11:01:00 PM
So with the move into a new house, I figured it was time to go through my stash of various mining equipment and paraphernalia that has accumulated over years worth of mining.  I have quite a bit to list and will be adding things as I continue to go through my boxes of old equipment.  If there is something specific your looking for just post below and I will see what I have.

All payments will be in bitcoin at the Coinbase rate to the address on the next line.  DO NOT PAY TO ANY OTHER ADDRESS!
1GXc5XkUW9prdaNWtjMoiZj7VdD9fAKpph
If asked to pay to a different address by any account please let me know so I can flag them.  There are accounts who have tried to impersonate me.

Shipping will be paid for by the buyer.  Most items will be relatively cheap and should be under $10, some heavier items may be higher.  If unsure, please work out with my shipping costs before we make a deal.

OgNasty can be used as escrow if the buyer so chooses, but the buyer will be liable for any escrow fees charged.  I have a long and proud history on this forum, so escrow should not be necessary, but I understand the necessity and security of offering it.

Items will ship within 48 hours of receipt of payment (not counting weekends).   If this will not be possible you will be alerted as such.

If there is no price next to the item, please feel free to make an offer, if its fair, I will most likely accept it.

is there any method but android app to get code for google verification? maybe my android app is wrong Sad

If you have not reset your 2fa since hashnest changed the domain for 2fa to bitmain then you will need to disable 2fa then re-enable.
Your codes should then work for withdraw.

how i can disable 2fa? i have tried it, but i am not able

Click on your name at top right of hashnest page and choose profile, you should find the 2fa option in security settings, called Google verification.

ya, but when i click on it, there is Unbundling Goolge verification and i must enter Google verification code but when i am entering, also it gives error

Have you synced the time on your PC as well as your phone and the google app?

If so, wait for a new code to appear and then attempt to disable, might take a few tries.

If this still fails you will need to raise a ticket with Hashnest.

i have tried everything but nothing changes. i have ticket already opened, but they aren't canceling my google auth. Sad

Does the website just seem like its going slow or does it quickly tell you that the code is invalid?  I was having a problem where it would just sit there  and load and then tell me wrong 2FA.  I think this is because the server was taking too long to verify the code and it had already moved to the next one.

You may just have to keep trying, it eventually worked for me.

Just a quick thing I noticed.  January 14th is not Monday, that is next Thursday.

As you mentioned, Quickseller agreed to fund this loan! I just wonder the reasons to create this thread to look for 3 BTC loan again!
The purpose of creating this thread is to make the loan public so to prevent any kind of dispute that may arise in the future, not that I am anticipating one happening.

Received and correct. Much easier to keep everything open and public to see we have both agreed to terms. There are plenty of people on this forum who know my identity and can attest I am not Quickseller, nor do I live anywhere near him.

I had also received this email yesterday and am glad I deleted it, not sure if a phishing scam or not.

They said they do this every year, but I don't remember receiving it last year or the year before that.

Mine showed up today - I never told him what name to put on the envelope so I'm guessing that's what held it up.

Plan to buy more soon. What's the going rate for these? Prefer to buy in groups.

Just got my order in, from my conversation with him it doesn't sound like you can buy them in groups, but every couple of weeks shouldn't be an issue.

Can't wait for mine.
1476  Other / Off-topic / Re: I will invest! on: January 06, 2016, 10:24:45 PM
If your looking to get your bitcoins to work for you, check out Hashnest, Bitfinex, Poloniex, and Haobtc.   These all provide some sort of investment mechanism where you can start to earn returns on your bitcoins.

Just because they have been around a while doesn't mean they can't scam though, always be cautious and never invest more than you can afford to lose.
1477  Economy / Economics / Re: HOW do you get gold onto the plane...? on: January 06, 2016, 09:33:32 PM
Forgive me as I have not had need to take gold out of the country.  But why can't you take gold onto planes and what would be the reasoning for taking it out of the country?

Again no judgement or anything, I really have no idea why you can't take gold out of the country.
1478  Economy / Goods / Re: Cheap Chipotle | BTC Only on: January 06, 2016, 08:25:25 PM
Woah, just saw this thread.  I am interested and am wondering if you would ship this out first and then allow me to pay you once I receive the cards?

From what I understand, you are charging $11 for 4 burrito coupons?  Please correct me if this is not right.

Also I saw a post back that you will release how you do this?  Care to PM the way if I promise just to verify that it is legal and not use it and just buy vouchers from you?

1480  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: January 06, 2016, 05:52:25 PM
I figured that was what was going on and tried that a few times, but to no avail.  Perhaps the server was just running slow(er) yesterday or something.  Ill try again today in a bit and maybe they have it fixed.

I had this issue and fixed it thus:

Disable 2fa code in site settings (This worked flawlessly first time for me)

Then , either:

1. Re-enable 2fa with fresh code then withdraw.

or

2 Withdraw, then re-enable 2fa.

Hope that gets you up and running again.

Psh, it doesn't work the first 2 times I try it, then the third time goes right through.

Oh well, at least withdraws are still kind of working.

Thanks for the advice everyone.
