Do not get blinded by the big  numbers you see in hyip sites,  they are not true. In some situations they may be true,  but they probably will scam you after some time.

In no situations are they true.  They will always steal your money and the only reason that they are still around is because people try to get in earlier than everyone else.  If people would just stop sending money to them and not be greedy, they would go away.
902  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: 1HourlyCoin - Is this legit? on: September 10, 2016, 03:36:58 AM
There is absolutely no way it is legit.  Always remember that if it sounds to good to be true, then it is.  There are no free handouts ever.  Send anything there and its gone forever.
903  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Collision Finders Pool on: September 10, 2016, 03:33:31 AM
Sweet to see you have a Windows version out.  I will try to get it tried out this weekend, but I may be a little busy since tax day is coming up, in that case I will try next week at some point.
904  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it stealing when you get the funds from an address you find? on: September 10, 2016, 03:31:12 AM
Your case A is obviously stealing because of your evil intention. Grin  You do everything just to gain something even if you know that it is from the other person.  You exerted effort just to have bitcoins that is not yours.  In case B it is just pure luck.  You have not done anything wrong as it is already in that bitcoin wallet.  But would that happen?  I mean having already a fund with the wallet address that is newly generated?

Are you saying that not having evil intentions makes it not illegal?  If my family is starving and I rob a bank it isn't illegal because I am doing it for good?
905  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Taxes on Bitcoin on: September 07, 2016, 10:00:34 PM
Collecting taxes is the responsibility of that country/government which or which the particular service is provided and as bitcoin is not yet approved by any government then why will we pay tax to any government? at the time when they will approve it then we will think about that.

Sigh, so misinformed and stupid.  The responsibility to pay taxes is on the people.  That is why YOU fill out a tax form and YOU report what your taxes are.
906  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Poloniex Lending Bot Service on: September 07, 2016, 03:57:33 PM
holy mother of idiocy... memo to myself: you shouldn't operate heavy machinery like your BTC wallet before you had your first coffee.

Eager to try this service, I just deposited 1BTC to my bot credit account, thinking this deposit would be used for lending. I hope this is not as un-refundable as the small notification in the frontend tells me to be... Let's see how flexible the site owner is Smiley

beware!

I am not really sure "beware" is appropriate as he mentions multiple times and has warnings that that is not your deposit account, and anything sent there is nonrefundable.  I would assume he will refund you, but you never know.  If he doesn't you could potentially sell your bot credit at a discount and earn at least something back.
907  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [$30] BRAND NEW FITBIT SURGE | ANY COLOR & SIZE on: September 06, 2016, 07:23:21 PM
Just checking in if my FitBit was ordered or not yet?  Thanks for any updates that can be provided.
908  Economy / Economics / Re: How legitimate those 600% ROI claims are? on: September 06, 2016, 07:22:16 PM
First rule, if its too good to be true, it probably is.  Another way to think about it.  If someone could consistently return 300% to 600% daily.  Even starting at a dollar they would control the entire worlds supply of money within a month.  Why would they need your investment when they can make returns like that?

Simply put, its all a scam!
909  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Taxes on Bitcoin on: September 06, 2016, 07:11:00 PM
Bitcoin and taxes are always so interesting topics for all of us. But I think, so countries collect taxes from the country then must make the bitcoin special rules about bitcoin. And of course the country must also have inventories bitcoin.
but i think upto now no country has any rule for paying tax on bitcoin, and the main reason is that bitcoin is still not accepted by the states, so we can only expect tax on bitcoin when the states will accept bitcoin.

Do you even read the posts above yours or are you just trying to get your post count in for your signature campaign (btw I am sending a message to your campaign manager that your not supplying any helpful information and just spamming threads that you know nothing about).

If by, "the states" you mean the United States then you are so wrong it isn't even funny.  Read a few posts up and stop presenting wrong information just for your post count.
910  Economy / Speculation / Re: We would be 1000+ if bitfinex didn't happen on: September 06, 2016, 05:41:09 PM
Don't get greedy and want a super quick increase in price.  Lets take a long time and gradually move upwards at sustainable levels.  That would do more good for bitcoins name than any hacking attempt.
911  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Electrical company keeps checking my box! WTF!!!! SOS plz HELP! on: September 06, 2016, 05:37:37 PM
Don't worry so much.  Your not doing anything illegal by mining bitcoins (assuming thats what your doing).  If they ask questions just answer truthfully and youll be fine.
912  Economy / Gambling / Re: JETWIN.ps #1 BITCOIN SPORTSBOOK / BITCOIN CASINO [LIVE-HD] / FREE SLOTS on: September 06, 2016, 03:41:58 AM
I wanted to thank Jetwin for continuing to provide my favorite bet in baseball, whether a game will go into overtime or not.  I was up over 2 btc at one point this year, and they continued to offer the line unlike Betcoin that took it away last year when I had been winning furiously on it.

Thanks for the smooth transactions and great site.

Any ETA on when mystery box will be added back?

Thank you for your time and work as liason between Haobtc and investors.  You were always great to chat with and get some great pictures of the Chinese mountain side and surrounding area.  Good luck with your new position.
915  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: September 05, 2016, 04:16:50 PM
They exchanged 1.1% of BFX back. Just wow !

With such a low repayment rate, it will take them many years to get back to square one. I guess they are clutching at a straw to keep their clients from going away for good. But there is no way back...

What are their trading volumes now?

Well that depends.  Where did the 1.1% come from?  If that was paid back based on trading volume, I wouldn't hesitate to buy BFX shares.  They will pay it back relatively quickly at that rate and there would be a nice little profit for share holders.
916  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [$15] BRAND NEW FITBIT SURGE | ANY COLOR & SIZE on: September 01, 2016, 12:55:00 AM
Hey sorry, I wasn't able to get online yesterday. SebastianJu has messaged me, I'll message him back

I would have responded sooner, but I didn't receive any reply from SebastianJu until now. I was actually suprised at his response.  Since he's demanding a 0.01 "tip" I'll pass since the escrow fee is over 12% of the original purchase fee. Also, Monbux never replied either, and I refuse to do business out of escrow. Nothing against you or SebastianJu, but I'm so tired of ppl posting shit only to recant and change their so called "fees" or "tip" at their discretion.

Don't be cheap.  .01 is hardly anything to worry about and is completely fair given that he is giving you a piece of mind about a transaction.  I have escrowed in the past and charge a 1% of the holding fee if your interested.
917  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: August 30, 2016, 10:54:18 PM
So my list is working now, for some reason it wasn't at first, but no matter.  Follow up question to the list...Can I specify if I want to search for case sensitive and insensitive per address?  Or is it all or nothing?
918  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Taxes on Bitcoin on: August 30, 2016, 03:12:10 PM
Here is a good way to think about it, and will apply to just about any country.  If your net worth increases, you will most probably owe taxes on that.
but i think there is no tax on bitcoin any where, because no state has yet formally legalize bitcoin, and governments impose taxes only on legal things, but the government do not impose tax on such things which are illegal or having no concept in a state. therefore i do not think so that there is any tax on bitcoin.

That is so far from the truth it isn't even funny.  In the United States (and I assume most countries are like this) you still have to pay tax on illegal things.  If i go out and sell an ounce of weed and make a profit, I still have to pay taxes on that profit from the sale.  So even though it is illegal (in most states), I still owe taxes on it.  There are many famous cases of this where they couldn't nail the crime boss for anything related to trafficking, but got him hung up on not paying the taxes from the profits.

And furthermore, bitcoin has been classified as property in the United States by the IRS.  So the IRS has taken a position on what bitcoin is, which makes it very clear on how it should be taxed.
919  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: August 29, 2016, 07:56:38 PM
How to check for multiple patterns?
I have few patterns that I want and it will be more fast instead of generating one by one...
Thanks Smiley

With a name like forumaster, one would think you could use the search function of the forum.  Perhaps you are master of a different type of forum?

 Use the -f option

-f filename

the file should contain one entry per line
you should also output the results to a file when you do this

-o filename

note that this should be a different filename the the input filename

Ahaha, it's only a nickname, in this forum I'm still a newbie and I can't merge forum and newbie for a good nickname xD
Anyway thanks, I will try this

Not exactly sure what I am doing wrong, but when using a notepad file as my list for the -f option, it only finds addresses with the first entry in the notepad file.
920  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Announces the Antminer R4 and APW5 Power Supply, Designed for Silence on: August 29, 2016, 06:40:35 PM
Its funny, they claim that this is for the home miners, who coincidentally were the ones who footed the bill for the original S1 units they made and bought them in drones so that Bitmain could grow, only to release better products to try and swindle those home miners again.

Shame on you Bitmain.  Without home miners you may not have ever gotten off the ground, and now you pull this crap with absurdly high prices.
