1461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: July 20, 2016, 01:47:26 PM
Since bitcoin is an internet currency that can be turn into a actual money. And Bitcoin too is known on Government but still government can't observe bitcoin that good. So I'm thinking if Bitcoin has tax??

Edit:
Now I know that bitcoin doesn't have tax but Transaction does..
Where do these Tax go?Government? And what kind of tax is it??

I think bitcoin dont have tax. Because government or other people dont know who is the real satoshi and ofcourse this is not like other things that need to pay tax in the government. And i think the creator in blockchain is like the government that need to pay tax or fee so that you can send bitcoin. This is only opinion if i have wrong please correct me.

you are so wrong my friend.
government do care about about taking taxes from anybody who is running a business with bitcoin and they may not care so much about satoshi but they would really want to know it. as they have already questioned some developers before.
1462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever paid more than $700/BTC for any amount of Bitcoin? on: July 20, 2016, 01:41:00 PM
since i didn't know about bitcoin when it was above $700 a couple of years ago then no i didn't pay anything more than $700 for bitcoin but i certainly would have if i knew about bitcoin back then.
1463  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Techniques on Earning BTC?? on: July 20, 2016, 01:33:24 PM
trading is so complicated not advisable for a real newbies because most of the time just trusting your instinct will lead you losing more of your investment it takes time before you can master the proper ways of trading needed more time and more patient just for saying mate.

yeah, i agree that trading is not at all easy and it is not good for a total newbie but also at the same time it is not that hard to learn and overtime any newbie can become a master of trading.
1464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who will be the next victim for Vitalik to dump his Ethereum IPO scamtokens on? on: July 20, 2016, 01:30:23 PM
there will always be so many victims who get fooled and buy into the pumps and get dumped on as soon as they buy and lose their money and give up trading after a while.
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: management of risk and money on gambling on: July 18, 2016, 03:35:15 PM
you should always practice risk management and also money management because money is involved and if you don't want to get sucked into the gambling hype and lose everything you should do it. for example i always manage my money by setting a fixed amount for different things like putting 0.05BTC for gambling 1BTC for trading, and many more.
1466  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the next BIG event after block halving that may boost bitcoin price? on: July 18, 2016, 03:29:24 PM
i think there is no need for any next big thing because bitcoin price is looking good and rising over time.

but if you are looking for a news, i think anything positive about the block size can be powerfull enough to make some big changes and raise the price up.
1467  Economy / Speculation / Re: We will break $800 they said... on: July 18, 2016, 03:25:33 PM
looks like kwukduck is depressed and is sitting in a corner huging himself because all of his history is talking about bitcoin failiure and crash to $100-$200 and he has been saying it for years and now that price is rising consistantly that is a big hit in the face because i never see him make any posts these days Cheesy
1468  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: July 18, 2016, 03:22:08 PM
I am not gonna sell my bitcoins too, cause price nowdays is slowly risig up and maybe later it's gonna reach $700. It will be enough for me personaly to sell.

$700 is not difficult to achieve now, and  may be we will see that price in next few weeks, and $700 is a good price to sell bitcoins and secure some descent profits.

It is better not to sell at $700. The $800 price could be reached in just a few months. So please be patient.

anybody who have made an investment in bitcoin would want to see some returns so just holding and not selling forever is not a good option either so if you think $700 satisfies you then sell and if you think price will go higher to $800 then wait.
and don't forget that you don't have to send everything at a price like $700 you can sell something and take the profit and enjoy it and hold the rest.
1469  Economy / Economics / Re: Have $20 worth of bitcoin, how to earn more with it? on: July 18, 2016, 03:16:56 PM
try altcoin trading, 20$ btc is enough to start trading altcoin...buy altcoins that are good and sell it to higher price
yeah i think that might be the easiest way of making money with bitcoins as the cryptomarket is unregulated and you can do there nearly whatever you want in my opinion

also you might try making some bitcoin to fiat trading, if you will be lucky it will also allow you to make some decent money in my opinion and that will be really great i think

Yes trading is the best option as it will allow you to make some good profits over a period of time if you can handle  the trades smartly.
It is a good idea, but it requires a lot of time. (Put an an, talk with the seller, wait for the banking wire or meet them in person and finally buy bitcoins again).
I wouldn't do it for 2$, but better be working washing dishes or even asking people 2$ for domestic housework (mow the grass for instance).

OP is holding $20 and not $2, I am not into trading yet but I don't there is any involvement of banks in online trading, you can simply buy and sell coins in fraction of seconds.

i have no idea what Barnabe means by 'talk with the seller", "wait and buy bitcoin" but there is a bank involved in trading if you want to deposit or withdraw money (cash) to your bank instead of cryptocurrencies and you have to wait a while until the exchange confirms your identity and lets you deposit/withdraw money.
1470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Losing Passwords & Wallets... on: July 18, 2016, 03:12:42 PM
The only way is to make a tutorial implemented in the actual wallets, before you use the wallet, it would explain you how to do it an secure your stuff. You have for example Electrum doing a good job with this, it tells you to save the seed and stuff.

all the wallets have some kind of warning that pops up and tells the user to backup and/or encrypt the wallet with a strong password.
besides i don't think making a tutorial or a pinned thread on the Beginners & Help section changes anything, because it is their money and those who are wise enough will think of making a backup and reading those warnings in the wallets themeselves.
and only those who are not so wise won't do that and when they have lost their money they will start searching about what happened and what they can do now!
1471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippine government will soon regulate bitcoin operations in their country on: July 18, 2016, 03:08:13 PM
With the issue of hackers of amassing huge amount of money and the issues on Money Laundering the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is looking forward to create a cyber surveillance division whose function is to monitor and implement virtual currency regulations in the country. Having seen the increase of bitcoin users in the country and the huge amount flowing in bitcoin activities, the government has included bitcoin in its watch list. Soon there will be regulations and policy covering bitcoin operations in the Philippines.

you should add some links for things you post here so we can research further about them easier Smiley

anyways, i think this can go both ways (good or bad) because usually regulations lead to more taxes and people and merchants staying away because they would have to pay more taxes or get in troubles for unpaid taxes,...
but also it is good because it also can lead to more people trusting bitcoin because it is regulated and approach it which will help the mass adoption in long term.
1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cashout $53 with one post on Steemit on: July 18, 2016, 03:03:53 PM
I don't see this as being sustainable.
Many such systems already in place; I'm a user of constant content, pay and be paid for real value web content...
But, good luck anyway, one or two of these social media blockchain utilising thingamajigs will be great I'm sure.

i couldn't agree more.
i wish it good luck too but i have seen many projects like this which tried to create such community that pays you for content and look like reddit. i don't want to name any names because you may think i am advertising but i have seen many sites like this paid in bitcoin (tips) for posts and replies, also there was a forum that was supposed to share the revenue of the site with its members based on their number of posts (points) and many more before it and none of them are alive today because they died in maximum of one year.
1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can people be buying eth right now? on: July 18, 2016, 02:58:22 PM
most of the buys you see these days are either manipulation by the big whales and also these manipulations as always lead to many gullible investors to start buying again in fear of missing out which leads to some dead cat bounce.
1474  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: July 17, 2016, 01:19:08 PM
I think that i am gonna pick bitcoin in this contest because i don't know what to do with gold and how to invest it right. But anyway at my opinion gold is much more profitable as bitcoin.
Even I would choose bitcoin coz I don't have to pay taxes for btc if I earn it but while buying gold we have to pay taxes plus gold can be stolen but its very difficult to have ones bitcoin wallet.  And due to scarcity gold have reached its peak while btc is still rising.

Yes investing in bitcoin seems to be good choice at a moment as price will rise in future so if we invest now in bitcoin then it can give us best returns in future.
I thought you did not have to wait too long to be able to get the profit in investment bitcoin yeah it could be excess bitcoin in the appeal of other investments such as gold. if you invest in gold you need a long time to be profitable. different when you invest in bitcoin
yeah bitcoin is very flexible for the investment as due to its liquidity and easy to use/spend but gold can be risky to keep at your home and also not idea to invest in for a short time !
If you are an investor of gold that would already mean that you are a rich person that can safeguard your investment, with bitcoins you don't need to spend for the security because you can just store it online and you just have to make sure you keep all your personal information private.

not really!
what you say is only the case of those who want to buy thousands of dollars worth of gold and keep it in their home in form of gold bars. but you can always invest in gold by purchasing jewleries or there is a website (i don't recal the name) that you can buy it from a legit place and don't get the physical gold but only have it in their safe and only invest in it and take the profit out.
1475  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: July 17, 2016, 01:14:22 PM
Most of the people here predicted that halving will take a big leap for bitcoin but it did not happen. I also thought that one because rewards will be lesser so they need a higher payment. Now, what will be next? Who will take the lead to take it up once again. Surely I dont know but in my opinion it will be the whales again.

those "most people" that you are talking about have only made a half speculation about bitcoin price and halving.
the fact of the matter is that halving will have a big effect on the price but it takes time to see the real effects. it is too soon to see any rise while there is still many coins leftover from the old high reward blocks.
1476  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does Bitcoin price now will be Stable or it will sti go up??? on: July 17, 2016, 01:07:32 PM
Hi guys i want to get your thoughs about bitcoins price for this month or even in future, do you think bitcoins will stable for this succeeding months? Or it will surge up to the top?.

Because i really wondering what will happen now since halving is done.

it is hard to say, it can move up tomorrow or it can stay stable this month and the month after it .
although i think the later is going to happen because in the last halving it took 2-3 months before the price started to rise up and before that it was stable just like now. so it is possible that history repeats itself.
1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum - Time to buy or time to sell? on: July 17, 2016, 12:51:06 PM
the time to act on etherum changes a lot every day. right now eth is having a lot of crisies that needs fixing before it can move forward. and even then, people are having a hard time trusting this coin anymore. that is why the price has gone down so much.
1478  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Bitcoin wallets are best to use? on: July 17, 2016, 12:45:07 PM
all bitcoin wallets are good as long as you are downloading them from the official sites/links and be careful not to get the wrong tampered with wallet.

also you have to choose the wallet based on your needs so there isn't only one good wallet for everyone.
1479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: July 17, 2016, 12:42:06 PM
bitcoin is an investment for me so because i never go "all in" for any kind of investment, for bitcoin i didn't go all int either.
but since bitcoin is a long term investment for me and i have been buying it for a long time now, i have increased the amount that i invest in bitcoin over time too and i think i am somewhere around 50% in bitcoin.
1480  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why YOBIT allow to buy dead coins ? on: July 17, 2016, 12:34:44 PM
it is simple, because YOBIT never changes anything about their business, anything that gets in, never gets out.
they just add new coins without even checking them first, so there is no surprise that there are alot of dead coins there and nobody ever removes them. because there is nobody to moderate that place Smiley
