I thought newbies with zero merit and less than 10 posts couldn't post links?
They are still able to embed links in texts using the URL BB code For instance: [url=https://google.com]This is a Google link[/url]

Seriously--and once people wake up and realize that NFTs are complete garbage and a fad and are worthless digital collectibles that are nowhere near as valuable as real art that artists painted on a real canvas the market for these things is going to crash--and crash hard.
I'm telling you, the emperor has no clothes on. NFT lovers can't see that fact, but nevertheless it is true. It's very easy to get blinded by hype, yet it happens to people repeatedly.
As to having a dedicated subsection: 1) It's been discussed before, as noted by Lafu. 2) They're tokens, as noted by Lafu. 3) ICOs, Defi, and some other crypto hot topics of the moment never got subsections of their own, so don't hold your breath for NFTs getting one.
Now you can lock the thread, OP.
I find it hilarious when someone flaunt his/ her NFT, someone else simply saves an image and reupload it as theirs just as his/ hers

The moment I saw the giveaway, I had a feeling it's a scam. True enough the URL in the image says it all. I don't know how these hackers gained access to the accounts of people in the high ranking of the society. I remember it also happens to some of the celebrities Twitter accounts. This is something that needs to be focused on for all the social media platforms. This kind of Tweets will somehow teach the people not to trust immediately especially If it happens like out of the blues without any previous Tweets about these.
Usually a verified account is hijacked and switched to some (controversial) influencer bearing the checkmark icon. For example, a verified community falls victim and the hacker changes the name + profile picture to be of Elon Musk. The most obvious giveaway would be the handle which is anything but @elonmusk himself. This one is a little less common.

Electricity theft, and you keep the coins so 100% theft. If I'm the employer, I'll keep your paycheck and fire you right away

Kucoin users don't have to KYC. Apart from that, Kucoin's features are simpler unlike Binance. try you can see the comparison of the features of Binance and Kucoin are very different, because in Binance there are more trading options such as spot, futures and others.
They still lose out to P2P though in terms of volumes.

Btw, i miss the userbars; I still see them on some forums, and that's a piece of history right there.

Damn, what a lucky guy! I can't imagine even betting 500$ on slots, let alone win 1.25 million $ . That's the beauty with slots; most of the times you will loose your balance, but you can get very lucky also! Thanks for the update on the scavenger hunt, makes it more clear! I wished I was that guy as well haha. Yup, I remembered there was some free tourney on a site I played on and miraculously I scored top on the Chicken Drop one. Never expected to be there, let alone in the top 100 :p You're welcome, can't wait for it too!

While I’d say Bitcointalk is good enough as it is, wen new forum software? Shh, you're gonna attract brickbats from the purists. Keep it down! By the way @libert19, congrats on your recently-attained Hero rank!

I think there are plenty who have similar opinion, but they prefer to stay silent to avoid getting shat on Yup, and we could pretty much say the same thing about the new forum software as well. Deep down many are longing for mobile responsiveness, notification bell and tipping feature

I think there's likely quite a few users here who would prefer a signature free forum, but while its not they might as well earn a little something on the side. I don't really have too many complaints about users using it like this.
Times have changed, and more people are in need of funds so the demand for advertising never waned. In fact, signature campaigns have contributed in paying off some of my loans and I'm quite thankful for them. On a side note, I'm using a browser that pays for displaying ads so I don't really mind them as well.

About the satoshi that you obtain, it depends on the price of XMR and Bitcoin and it also depends on valid shares and hash rate. The calculation above is for Bitcoin not for XMR.
Cryptotab is not actually a miner for Bitcoin they only pay you in Bitcoin but they are mining XMR that supports mining with CPU.
The only machines that could mine Bitcoin are ASIC machines and nothing more.
This. Alot of people were given the wrong impression until they actually read the FAQ: Can I mine cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin? In fact, CryptoTab software mines Monero (XMR) and converts Monero to Bitcoin according to current exchange rate. That's why your balance is displayed in BTC. At the moment, this is the only cryptocurrency we offer as it’s the most popular one, but we keep working on new alternatives for you and will update you as soon as new coins are available for mining with CryptoTab Browser. Source: https://cryptobrowser.site/en/faq/#browserSo they actually pay but of course the rates can't compare to a personal mining rig. More like a complementary feature while one's surfing the web.

Personally, I didn't join the forum to make money, but it ended up turning into that. I attribute being so well known on this forum because of campaigns. I don't feel like I would visit the forum much if signature campaigns went away even though I don't manage them much any longer. I do have a pretty decent income from wearing a signature though.
I find nothing wrong with users making money here. Hell, the admins are making a pretty penny weekly on advertising. Why would they ever want to try and cut out the smaller guy?
Let's say they stop allowing signatures, what would be the backlash of that? Well for starters, forum traffic drops by 90%. That means forum ads lose their appeal to businesses. Also leading to no income for the forum, ultimately leading to the forum closing down after a period of time. That's what I think would happen anyways. There will be a few happy members of course, but there will be no reason to keep the forum open for the 100 or so users left.
The issue IMO is the poor quality of the posters in these campaigns. That's really on the manager. If you have a poor quality poster, then remove them and let someone worthy take their place. I have been guilty of letting douchebags in a campaign because I had a large number of open spots, so maybe I have no room to talk but I can acknowledge the problem and do my part in fixing it.
This, finally someone with an unpopular opinion. Can imagine an average Joe mentioning that and getting shat on. Like it or not, signature campaigns are a win-win situation. Advertisers get their traffic and customers, posters get their funds for their expenses. That's how marketing works; volumes to keep the site alive. Solely discussing Bitcoin and technology won't pay the bills, unless they have a ton of wealth to begin with. Even without them, shitposters still exist the moment there's some sort of monetization opportunity.

KMSPico is so popular that there are countless malicious fakes, and if you are googling "download KMSPico", or looking for it on torrents, you're almost guaranteed to get malware. The original version was/is distributed on My Digital Life forum, but it's probably hard to get it, providing it's still there. If you want to pirate Windows, use Microsoft Activation scripts - it's open source and is very popular, so a lot of people have reviewed the code. Some e-commerce platforms are selling licenses from as low as a few bucks which are capable of receiving genuine updates.

Where can we see the rules or terms on how to participate with the upcoming scavenger hunt? Was searching on the site but to no avail, couldn't see the requirements. The voucher scavenger hunt has bigger prize than the christmas raffle event. Also, may I ask, if in case someone wins in christmas raffle, is the item convertible to cash like fiat or crypto?
We don't really have a list of terms laid out. As long as your account is in good standing, you are free to participate. Of course any attempts to exploit the system for financial gain or malicious intent definitely results in an immediate disqualification and suspension from the site. Other than that, we prefer to make things flexible for everyone. No prior deposit is required to claim vouchers, however the value will scale based on the wagering and deposit activity (e.g. moderate activity will TRIPLE the base value of it) The voucher values are definitely larger as they are spreaded out among all participants (including non-depositors) while the raffles are solely for bettors. If someone wins a prize, it could be converted into on-site currency (BUX), crypto or Amazon gift cards.

Or just some easter Egg that would be activated if the forum ever come this far with the number of registrations.

Is it true? I've never tried it myself because I've always thought that it's like $1 per hour at best. Well, at one point I was making probably less than $1/hour solving captures, so it would be interesting to know what did I miss back then.
Surveys pay well if you live in the US/ UK/ CA/ AU or those mainly English-speaking countries. Anywhere else and they can fuck off with frequent screenouts.

This was pretty much inevitable. What's scary is — using KMSPico is pretty much the norm when talking about the typical 9-5 low-income worker in poor countries. And then you get some of them investing in crypto to hopefully put them in a better financial situation; and now we got malware designed to steal crypto baked into the OS-level. Not sure if people still commonly use KMSPico because afaik Windows 10 is pretty much free, but yikes.
Exactly. A license, even the most basic Home edition costs a pretty penny so many tend to pirate. I used to do that (software) until I had my PC infected with malware. It was scary to say the least but thankfully that time Bitcoin wasn't existent yet.

Looking forward to the new features (including the upcoming sportsbook)! Wow, this most be the biggest scavenger hunt ever? I noted the date in my agenda so I will be prepared for it; will probably take some time before I really get how it exactly works as it will be my first time.
It's could be larger than the last one held, as the team might have some surprises along the way. But the giveaway is definitely a yes as we upgraded from a FIAT 500 to a Hyundai Veloster! I would highly recommend, but if you're unable to make it due to some change of plans, go send a friend to take your place :p
