1481  Economy / Gambling / Re: This guy gave a whole prototype of "how live roulette scam us" on: June 07, 2023, 09:19:50 AM
~ They are just bad losers, I am pretty sure you have met a lot of them not only in gambling but in life, they are the ones that cannot tolerate things not going their way and they even get mad when losing an insignificant board game or another non-transcendent activity.

So when they lose a lot of money when they gamble, they cannot help but to think that somehow they were cheated and create elaborate conspiracy theories about why this happened to them.
I agree with this. With many millions playing online roulette around the world, of course there are cases when gamblers lose more than expected, and some of them start creating these conspiracy theories. What they don't take into account is the opposite cases, when people win much more than expected. That's what makes the game attractive: you are not always losing exactly 5% of your money; you can lose all of it, or you can win a lot, depending on luck.
Leave the opposite cases, the same people, if they have won in a previous session they wouldn't even consider that, and as soon as they lose all their money or a higher percentage of it, they will start blaming the casino for that and will surely say that they have cheated them while the actual fact is that you will either win or lose since it's gambling and it's based on your luck.

Losing or winning more than expected is what the nature of gambling actually is, and that is what makes it fun in my opinion. You shouldn't enjoy gambling if you already know what the outcome would be, the expectation of winning something good makes you wanna keep gambling, but sometimes, it goes the other way around.

That's right, but not all people understand it. If they on a single number, they expect to win within 36 spins. And some of them are so "smart" that they they come up with the idea that those spins shouldn't be necessarily made by them. They just stand by and watch, and when a certain number wasn't hit for a long time, they start betting on it expecting it to come up soon. In some cases it does come up and they win, but what they fail to realize is that it's just luck, it's not like their "strategy is working" and it should always be like that.

What can I say? He's a high roller. Give him your ref link! Smiley

But if seriously, it depends heavily on his income. He can be still a responsible gambler if he earns like $10k per month.

LoL, I think you make a good point here 😂.

That's true. If it's in finance, the guy is really dopp. He's a professional in his profession, and it's indeed paying him off every damn fucking day. He's not really making $10,000 per month, but in the kind of business he does, he doesn't earn less than $100 per day (am not kidding).

Okay, then he makes $2k-$3k per month, and when he loses $100 or $200 he can afford to lose it. For someone making $400 per month $100 is huge money, and something is not right with such person if he bets this amount at once, but for your friend it's affordable to lose $100 to gambling once in a while. If gambling makes him happy, he can work more effectively and make even more money with his job, and who are we to judge him? He is a responsible gambler, imo.

there are many people who make a lot of money from their referral bonus and it has become a topic of discussion among freelancers, then the referral bonus is not a waste of time because your job is only to spread it, you don't spend money for it

be smart and take advantage of every opportunity you have

Not only that. You have to be sure that the link you are spreading does not lead to a site which scams its users. So, you have to be familiar with the site. Not only you should be playing on it for a while, but you should also try to withdraw your winnings and see how it went.

And, actually, with more 10k free rolls played now I'm waiting for that 10000 number to pop up any time soon. Smiley

I looked at my statistics and I am currently at over 16 500 free rolls, which means that I can hope for the jackpot, maybe even sooner than you Wink

Of course, everything is a matter of luck, it can happen today, and maybe only for the next 10 000 free rolls. However, lately I have had a little more luck and today I rolled 9990, which is not a bad win.

Is there such a thing as bad win? Smiley You won, that's what counts. Congrats, mate!

As for our free rolls made, as @arallmuus said here, the chance of hitting the jackpot, the coveted 10000, is 0.005% for all of us here, regardless of the number of rolls, but you know it, I'm sure, as many of us here do. What we don't know is who of us will actually hit it. We'll see. Wink

The Luck Kami-sama is always with me since I start being positive that I will always win I start my game. This is one thing I learned on my return of gambling from a long break. I’m always afraid to lose before that’s why I keep panicking when I lose huge percentage of my bankroll.

Right now, I can keep a chill spin even though I’m down 50% of my bankroll and still positive to recover my losses/gain profit. Sometimes I have a rough start but positive thinking keeps me back on track because I always hit consecutive huge win from bonus when I start my game badly.

I'm embarrassed to say that it was for the first time I read the name, Kami-sama. And now I know it's a Supreme God, or, in other words, the God of all Gods, it's not just a God, alright? And while reading about Kami-sama and playing on Bitcasino Billion at the same time, I was gettign these small but nice wins

more often than usually!

I didn't win anything big, but wasn't it just a beginning? Not bad for a start, eh?

Thanks for the tip, @AbuBhakar! And, of course, thank you, @Kami-sama! Smiley
1486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: June 06, 2023, 01:43:24 PM
~ And in part social media has played a big part on this, now people do not stop to think if what they are reading is true or not, they simply react to it, which in turn generates a reaction on other people which either support or condemn their exaggerated reaction, which then generates a reaction on other people and so on.

So if social media was already useless as a means to inform yourself, AI took it a step further and made it completely useless.

But still, can we use AI to predict outcomes? And to what degree can we trust it? It's not like everything it says is bs, right? It's capable of a lot things, very helpful things, I mean. Currently I have a feeling that it all depends on the prompt and your analyzing the response from AI. People who are not good at it say AI is useless, but maybe we should just learn how to utilize the thing?
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: June 06, 2023, 09:00:46 AM

I agree and in fact there is more chance of a  land based casino to cheat more than any online casino can do.They the physical machines can be opened and the RTP can be changed to different levels and can go up to 46% for the player and 54% for the casino which is something you will never find in an online casino as the worse case scenario here is 84% for the player and these are very isolated cases while most of the time is 96-97% return to players. This is just a trick to get more customers but the good thing is that each of casinos have their own unique "clients",old gamblers like to go to land based casinos as they have grown up with these machines while the new generation prefer to play from the comfort of their home.

I read somewhere that they are not allowed to change the RTP without informing regulators, but I'm not sure the if info was reliable. Can you provide a link to where I can read about it, please?

That may happen once in a loooooooooooooong while to hit it big after some one has lost a lot of money but most likely you will lose money trying this "trick".

I'd say it's just a bit more likely than not, provided that the house edge is around 5%, it's not "most likely". Smiley

Guys, what is your progress in this [$3,000] Royal Club of Originals Week 34|Video Poker contest?

I was saying previously that I got 3 full houses but no four of a kind, but couple of days later I finally hit it:

As I said before, hittting four of a kind in Video Poker is easier than in a real poker game, and yes, it actually didn't take me long. Smiley

Hurry up, guys, the promo ends in 40 minutes. Good Luck!

Hello everyone,

TrustDice team here!
I just wanted to let you know that some of your recommendations in this topic have already been adopted and implemented! We are integrating Litecoin and Dogecoin at the time of writing, and we'll shortly formally launch it. To be on the safe side, ETC is two weeks. We may also soon start integrating TRON.

Thank you for all your suggestions! And we are listening Smiley
TrustDice Team

It's nice to see that what we write here becomes more than just words. Thank you, TrustDice team!

Just one question, because it's very interesting to me, and maybe to others too.

What else, apart from integrating some altcoins, have you taken from this thread? Or, maybe you haven't taken anything yet, but you are considering it?
1493  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: June 05, 2023, 09:54:44 AM
~
Gambling is pertaining about taking a bet for a certain game or whatsoever which do involves money or simply with having the risks, if we are speaking on something which is a free bet but still have
the chance on winning some prizes then it is really that risk free or not really gambling at all.

~

I've been thinking of it and realised that for some people it is still gambling, even though their money is not at stake. What is at stake is their mental health. Suppose they win that free bet and start gambling from then on. Later they may become gambling addicts, and isn't that a terrible loss for them? So, we shouldn't say to those people, "It's not gambling. Go ahead!". Although there's only a small percentage of such people we still should care about them.
1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: June 05, 2023, 09:01:25 AM

The odds have changed drastically over the past few months. A couple of months back, Trump was having much more favorable odds when compared to Biden. But now he seems to have fallen behind. This has to do something with Ron DeSantis announcing his candidacy last week. None of the opinion polls are having DeSantis with more than 20% of the support for GOP primaries. But the sportsbooks maybe assuming that he will be able to consolidate the anti-Trump section within the GOP in the coming months. And at the same time, Biden doesn't face any challenge within the Democrat Party.

But from what I see, gamblers give DeSantis less chance than a week ago

Actually, the chances of all of them above have dropped a little bit since a week ago. Do people think that someone else apart from the trio will have more chances eventually?

Let's not forget, guys, that we are talking about bets here, it's not the Politics&Society section, is it? Smiley

I personally don't like Trump and a big part of the GOP, but I would place ten bucks on Trump with the current odds

if I was sure he wins the election. But actually I won't bet a cent on him, because he's not gonna win. Not in this universe, anyway.
Well, it's a bit both isn't it? I mean it's a betting topic, but also the betting is about politics, which means that anything any politician does impacts the odds as well. ~

You know, I agree with you. I don't want to be the guy shouting "Digression!". No. Sometimes, what seems like a digression is actually relevant. Let's not just go purely political here, that's what I mean.
1495  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: June 05, 2023, 08:13:31 AM
~
~ It's not possible where I live because $800 per month is considered a very good salary here, so saving $1k is out of question. But I think I can contemplate the possibility of saving 30% of your income. It's impossible in my opinion. It's too much. And those guys earning $3k per month, I'm sure they are living in places where everything, food, electricity, medical care and stuff, everything is more expensive there, so, they couldn't afford saving that much.

1/3 or 1/4 or 1/10 is not the point.
My emphasis would be this:
- Borrowing money in the form of loans to cover "ordinary" needs is a bad way to go. You borrow $1, but you will owe $1 plus interest back. Which means you'll have a bigger need to borrow tomorrow. And it's a vicious circle. The solution is to change your income and/or change your consumption.
- You need to constantly strive to improve your financial health. Both yourself and your children. And the way to do that is the way to develop your skills. There is always time and opportunity to be found. Even if it's very hard. Otherwise nothing will change. It's very simple - it's foolish to expect change if you keep doing the same thing every day.
- You need to limit unreasonable consumption - from food to things. A lot of what you acquire has no real value in your life
- it is necessary to always think about the FUTURE. You can't live "here and now"!
- It's necessary to form a "financial cushion", this is just about 1/3, 1/4, 1/10 ...
- It is necessary to form a set of passive income

It all seems a bit complicated, but ... you have to do it and it's not so hard! You may not be able to do it all at once! But without changing anything your life will stay the way it is ...

I agree with everything you said except the last sentence. There is a saying in economics: "If there's no growth then there's no life in it." If we are not making things better then our life will not stay the way it is, it will be getting worse. So, basically, we have no choice but to grow. We should be improving our knowledge, our income should be getting bigger, and our living conditions must our living conditions must improve along with it. We must be moving forward, we can't afford to stand still.

1497  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we headed to a nowhere economic direction ? on: June 04, 2023, 12:37:11 PM
All the things that you have seen OP are just negativity, maybe you really stress in your life seeing how bad is your government system. Well, I'm glad that our country isn't bad as your country. But I will tell you that stop relying on the government strategies, they are not actually helping you. That is why we should look for an opportunity to grow our finances and become financially stable. If the banks are not reliable, then better use them to run a business or do anything that would do to make more money. We make our own economic direction, not them and not the government.
Not many countries are able to provide social security for the population, even if there are good social programs, then you should think about relying only on yourself in any situation.

You definitely should think about relying on yourself, but on yourself only is hardly possible. Maybe you shouldn't expect some financial help from your government, you should earn money yourself, but you can expect banks and shops working and order on the streets and stuff.

Negative feedback about the government is a common occurrence, people always want to get more than they have, but not all economies are capable of this.

And it's a good thing, people should always want more, that's how economic progress is achieved. Only in dictatorships like North Korea all people are happy with their government, but it's not good for the economy, they are starving. Well, not this guy in particular

but regular people in there, most of them.

Guys, what are your achievements on The Roo House by Pragmatic Play? I just played it for 20 minutes with $0.20 base bet and here's what my biggest win was:

Not enough to allow me buying twitter, but it's nice innit?
with 30 cents base bets , you come with 6 dollars? that is not bad to take home and come back the next day trying more luck .

It's 20 cents, mate, so, it was even better than that. Smiley

Quote
What about you, guys? I'm sure some of you won more than 30x of their bet on The Roo House slot. Share your wins here. Smiley
not on me , because I am not that lucky at all but since I am small players with limited time and capital , I may say I enjoy the gaming and if I won then this is just a bonus.

That's a perfect attitude, in my opinion. I'm trying to see gambling exactly this way. Keep it up, friend.

Guys, what are your achievements on The Roo House by Pragmatic Play? I just played it for 20 minutes with $0.20 base bet and here's what my biggest win was:

congrats on the win, i keep wondering how much money you spent in that 20 minute section putting in 0.20$, because if you spent 20$ in every section and you won 6$ then you are still with 14$ of loss and also when you come back to play with the 6$ will have greater chances of not winning much and at the end of the day you will lose everything, I think that gambling based on luck should only be seen as fun and also if the person wins a big jackpot that covers all losses then at that time the person you have to stop playing for good to avoid playing again and having more losses and even reaching the scenario of losing the whole jackpot, well when I played plinko at the beginning I was lucky to be winning 3$ in the section

So I got excited and continued playing with the hope of winning a lot, but unfortunately instead of winning, I started having a losing streak until my balance reached zero, which irritated me the most and that when I was lucky I could make up to 2x the value of the my deposit, it was already a good 2x profit but my stupidity in continuing to play led me to lose everything, I had to tell myself that it was time to stop, and I stopped playing and just stayed in sports betting, if there is anything I could conclude and understand that it is very difficult to have self-control in gambling that depend on luck

That's a good question! Well, you are kinda right, not in this particular case, but, of course, I don't always win. Sometimes I lose $5 or $10 during a session, and since I have more on my balance, I think to have the strength to stop before I lose even more is a win for me. Losing $10 in one session is already over the limit for me, but still, when I stop and I accept that loss without wanting to recover right now, I feel like a winner.
1499  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: June 04, 2023, 11:08:16 AM
~ We should try, I would say. No one knows how to raise children properly. What we do know is that having enough money is not enough. Kids of rich parents would be perfect, if if it depended on money only. But we all know that in mane cases they are far from being perfect. So, we should focus not only on saving money for our kids' future, but also on their early education, because you can't compensate the lack of it with money.
You're right, but saving money is also an important point if one of our goals is educating children. even today if you want your child to acquire good knowledge you also need money for that. So, raising money is very important for the future. we can teach our children good knowledge while we save. however, the positive effects of saving are numerous. In fact, besides education, you can increase your business or investment by saving consistently.

No question about that. No way I'm trying to say that money is not important. Money is very important, and I encourage everyone to earn it and save it if possible. I'm just saying that in the case of raising children having a lot of money is not enough for success. In other words, in the modern world people with low income still have a chance to raise their kids properly, they just need to find balance between earning money and educating their children.

Any comment on this?

https://twitter.com/robertsepehr/status/1662917294379655170

The US media has been largely silent on this story. The released pictures and videos are extremely graphic and if it was anyone from the GOP, then that individual would have been arrested by now, but to jail and his political career would have been finished. But then it is Hunter Biden, who belongs to the left-wing political spectrum. The only platform that is covering this story is Twitter and any related posts are being removed immediately from other platforms such as Facebook.

Well.. I got one article from Fox News:
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/nearly-10k-photos-hunter-bidens-laptop-hit-web-truth-transparency

There about 40 people in the category "Next President" on sports betting sites, and there's no Hunter Biden in there, so, I don't understand why is it relevant. Oh, the FoxNews. You know that Fox News is pro-Trump propaganda, right? And they are so desperately want to denigrate Joe Biden that they resort to such dirty methods as citing Russian media known for their constant lies. FFS!
