Massive game today at Anfield. Liverpool should win but you just never know in these type of games. We are better in pretty much every position on the pitch but this is football. Looking forward to the game, should be a classic.

OMG, no one from Sportsbet's BitcoinTalk Pool predicted even a close result:

My pick was 3-1

there were 12 picks with the same result, and all the other picks, from 1-2 to 5-3, all of them were wrong obviously. No one could predict that Liverpool wouldn't score a single goal at Anfield. Extremely rare case, but his time it was reality.

For the sake of experiment, again, I went to the Live RTP section on Bitcasino.io

and there he was, the winner, PINE OF PLINKO 2 by Relax Gaming. So, I decided to play it for a bit. With €0.10 base bet I made more than 100 rolls, and here's my best wins during the session:

2x of my bet was my best win? It felt like those oldsters were laughing at me.

Just know this, guys, sometimes live stats just show what's going to happen to your game too on this slot. Sometimes for some forked up reason a slot just doesn't deliver, neither in the last 24 hours, nor in the last week, and nor even during the last month

You little sneaky bastard

you just robbed robbed me out of ten bucks! Don't smile at me, you'll never see me again!

But I left my favourite slot Bitcasino Billion for dessert, and, of course, it didn't let me down.

Plenty of multiples, two of them 10x, were waiting for me there. So, the dessert was sweet enough to make me feel great overall. Smiley

What a loss I got yesterday! Missed only one game

and I lost my 10 matches multibet! What a shame.

I wanted to compete in the Perfect 10 Week 114, but what's great is that it's more than 5 days left still. I will try my luck again. And you guys, don't forget to participate. Good Luck!

Multibets seriously depends on luck. Odds higher than 2 are risky enough, but when you make multibet with several such odds - the risk increases faster than profit. I make sometimes multibets with odd between 7 and 50 but it is mostly for fun. I can`t say that it brings me more money than single bets.

Well, I 'd say multibets do bring me more money than single bets, but maybe it's because I make them more often. It definitely brings me more fun becuase when you win with 100x or 150x of your bet on sports it's really cool, innit? Once I almost won 200x, but I cashed out 48x before the last game was finished only to realize later that I was right in my prediction and I could win 200x! Anyway, my personal record wasn't set that time and even today it's still around 150x.

~ Meanwhile, a man finds it very difficult to express this, so in the end he expresses this through his hobby, namely gambling.

Yyep, and there's nothing wrong with that in my opinion. If it makes you relaxed after a hard day, do it mate. Just don't go over the board, don't break your limits, and you will never become addicted. With drugs, on the hand, it's not like this. You can take heroin or crack little by little and become addicted one day totally unexpectedly.

What "instinct" are you talking about? We can see about it in movies and read in books because it makes movies and books more interesting for some people, but not for me, and I hope not for the most part of the educated people. If you want to talk about it seriously, tell me what is the scientific basis of this information? How do you imagine this happens? A piece of information going back in time and reaching your brain so you could make a bet based on your "instinct"?
I also confused about what is meant by instinct because instinct is kind of behavioral pattern that has been there since childhood without being learned and is usually hereditary, and of course this has nothing to do with good betting results.
If you only rely on instinct then obviously no casino will develop because they lose to gamblers, they lose to the instincts that gamblers have, this doesn't really make sense if the chance of winning could be greater if it was based on instinct.
As far as I know and in my experience in gambling, there are only three factors that can make gambler win, namely knowledge, analysis and also luck.
If the gambler can have these three factors then the chance of winning will be greater.

I'd say, only good luck would be enough. Smiley Your knowledge and analysis is nothing when luck is not on your side. But let's be realistic, no one can be lucky all the time. And then we see that in reality all the other factors start playing a role. But then again. as every gambler knows, you can do everything backwards and with the help of good luck you can win still.

as another top game is taking place this matchday, with bayern vs. stuttgart, i was able to negotiate another promotion for all participants of our bl-pool with Steve from sportsbet.io.
this means that tomorrow (friday) all participants will receive a free bet and can use it within the 3-day period Smiley

and please remember your picks - tomorrow will be my reminder to all those who haven't thought of it yet

Very nice, thank you fr the freebets, what did we do to deserve it =)
~

Absolutely nothing. Smiley I thought I did do something. I thought I won 10 USDT free bet from BET-FREE-6-6 competition, but as I see now, it was just a gift from Steve. Thank you, Steve!

Like you, @buwaytress, I bet it with pretty good odds, over 5.00

But, unfortunately, "The match between AFC Bournemouth and Luton Town FC has been abandoned due to a player medical incident." The match was suspended after Luton captain Tom Lockyer had earlier collapsed on the pitch. And although technically I was kinda right betting on the draw, in fact I just lost my free bet, because "kinda" doesn't count as right. Bad luck.

But let's not make something bad out of something good. It was a gift and it was amazing! I just think I need a bit more luck next time. Smiley

Guys, I hope all of you are aware of the ongoing Frosty Flippin' Fortune Giveaway on Roobet:
Good Luck! Smiley
I also never miss this, eventhough they only give 0.01 USD per open and 0.03 USD if you successfully flip Mr. Roo logo (Heads). I think I only get that amount because I haven't wagered on Roobet this whole month. I think this is just like a rakeback they just make it look interesting.
How about you? What is the average amount per open you claim in this Frosty Flippin Roobet giveaway? You didn't provide in this post 😁

This is what I get too. I do flip the coin each time I'm there, so, most of the time it's 3 cents. Smiley What's funny is that today I decided to wager a bit on slots to see what happens to the rewards and I won a pretty nice amount, more than 100x of my bet:

So, whatever the reward is going to be the next day, I'm already happy. Smiley

@Betwrong can you confirm anything from there?

Yes, I will definitely post here in this thread when refund is done or there's any news regarding this matter. As of now, I have nothing new to report. I think if they'll manage to do it within one or two upcoming weeks it would be great.
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: December 18, 2023, 11:59:24 AM
~

To me, it is a signal that bettors and users of casinos had a early impression about Trump chances, they may have assumed that even though Trump could easily secure his nomination for the Republican party, they did not actually see a reliable Presidential candidate to take over the Biden's Administration. It seems that now things have changed in the midset of those but betted for Biden and those who were not considering to do so for Trump.
Basically, many of those people wait for the polling to give them some clue on where they are supposed to put their money, in the case they wish to have bigger and better chances, however, I have come to the conclusion the American political landscape is going through an era where polling cannot be as trusted as people used to. After all, we have seen several times in a row how polls give Republicans an advantage over Democrats in the lastest local and midterm elections, fruitlessly to the dismay of Republicans.

So I do not know what to make out of this, bettors may feel this incoming election will be different or there has been some rumors on both candidates' campaign strategies I have not read about.

Maybe most bettors don't know yet either. Actually, what we have right now regarding the odds

is a typical situation when it's hard to say who's going to win. We can, of course, place our bets now, just for fun, but probably it's better to wait until we are closer to to the Elections, but then again the odds for the most probable candidate will be low then.

~ What do you think? This is an insanely move on oneself to stop addiction, something done right? Would you do the same if such is possible in your country?

Apparently, he's done a good thing with banning himself from gambling. And now he's free from his addiction. Maybe someone explained him that poker machine(or as it's called Video Poker on online gambling sites) is not something where you can win because of your skill, it's a totally luck-based game like slots and dice and many others. Fool or hero, you ask? This guy is a hero, in my opinion. We need more heroes like him.
634  Economy / Economics / Re: Pay discrimination on: December 18, 2023, 10:15:08 AM
There has always been a huge difference in the pay scale between the white collar jobs and blue collar or skilled labor wherein the later one put in more effort physically and do more hardwork than the earlier one.

Should there be market correction done for skilled labors?

Some will say that an white collar employee is more mentally drained out hence they deserve better pay but people who do menial job stop working the world will just rot as everything cannot be done but robots and AI.

Absolutely. Skilled labors must be paid more than unskilled ones and in many cases more than "white collars", but isn't that's what's happening in the world?  Who's paying white collars more because they are "mentally drained out"? You are paid according to what profit your work brings to the company, not for how tired you are.

It's sometimes sad to see how they are treated disrespectfully, be it a waiter, delivery workers, cab drivers, carpenter, or construction workers as they are the pillars and without them things will start falling apart. I know some of these can be automated but not everything.

People in what kind of shithole treat them disrespectfully? Just move, man. In most of the world, no one treats workers disrespectfully.
635  Economy / Economics / Re: Which do you prefer on: December 18, 2023, 09:41:37 AM
~
My question is guys which do you prefer, a steady monthly salary which you know that no matter what, it must come once the month ends or a business/ trading/ any other thing which you can do that you earn base on performance and you have the capacity to earn ten fold of what a civil servants might earn if you are good at it, but there is also a possibility that you may have a bad day in the office which you may even incurred some loss.

Which do you prefer an why.

Most people would prefer the latter, especially when they are young. It even seems more profitable money-wise, to earn ten fold all the time and then have a bad day once in while when you earn nothing. But the reality, of course, is more harsh than that. There can be bad weeks, months and even years when you choose to live independently, and for that many are not ready.
636  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: December 17, 2023, 12:10:00 PM
~ It is true that gambling have become modernized, technology have affected and changed almost everything, trying to stop gambling right now will only push people into the older ways gambling was practiced before the internet came into existence.

And also worthy of note is that, every activity in life have their pros and cons, their advantages and disadvantage, gambling in itself is not a bad thing to do, abuse is what lead many people into becoming gambling addicts, those who respect the rules of gambling always enjoy and have fun doing it.

Sorry, I don't understand what do you mean by that? You mean gambling addicts after undergoing a therapy start gambling in land-based casinos? Are there such cases? Because I think it's harder to get rid of internet gambling addiction, and people who are cured from it will not even think of going into land-based casinos.

I totally agree with the second part of your post though. It's not gambling itself that ruins people's lives, it's abusing it is what's bad.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: December 17, 2023, 11:16:56 AM
~ For example, an alcoholic might start drinking at their job.

A gambling addict might start gambling at their job.

They are different things, but the behavior is basically the same. They are doing things at times that they shouldn't be doing them.

And most likely, both of those scenarios will end up badly.

I'd say, drinking alcoholic beverages at your work place might end up worse than gambling, but I understand that it's open to debates. At least you are not intoxicated when you gamble, and can stop at any moment and continue with your work being absolutely sober. It's kinda hard to do that when you are drunk. But I know that there are cases when people are "drunk" from gambling and they can't do their job with a straight head.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: December 17, 2023, 10:43:15 AM
Obviously, gambling is a business; gambling only becomes a way for us to become addicted to it. But gambling itself was not the main reason; instead, the main reason was that we were driven by greed to become addicted to gambling because we experienced winning by playing gambling on the gambling platform.

There are still many gamblers who use casinos to gamble, but they do not become addicted to gambling or develop an addiction to it because they know how to limit themselves from gambling. In short, they are responsible gamblers.

Right, and they would laugh after reading "Reckless gambling starts after a win round". What? After a winning round they collect their winnings and cash out. What kind of a greedy person one must be to start gambling recklessly after a win round? When are you going to stop then, after a losing round?
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: December 17, 2023, 10:19:16 AM

But I don't agree with this conclusion.  If the game actually uses a 100% provable fairness algorithm and all processes associated with the distribution of cards proceed according to a deliberately random mechanism, the algorithm of which is deliberately hidden from AI access, and AI is also completely unable to obtain information from this algorithm in any way (well, for example, roughly  speaking this is simply a person randomly drawing a card from a deck of cards at random and there is no connection with electronic machine algorithms).  In this case, it seems to me that the AI poker game will be just a game with a very strong opponent.
And it is not at all necessary, since the player will lose.

Just look at the videos showing AI beating top poker professionals on YouTube, and I think you'll agree with me then. And it's not that AI "knows" the cards of the opponents or something like that. Everything's fair in that regard. AI is just playing better. It calculates the probabilities of this or that outcome after this or that move and acts accordingly and it works in the long run.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll) on: December 17, 2023, 09:21:54 AM
Look at this situation: I am playing a certain slot with 0.50$ stake, next spin would pay 10x.... but what happens if i increase/decrease stake before that spin that was supposed to pay 10x??
There's no way you can predict that the next spin would yield a 10x win. Each spin is random and independent of each other.
In the case of the slot having progressive mechanics like collecting wild (for example Bronco Spirit etc.), you'll lose progression after you change your base bet.

If the progression isn't lost after changing the base bet, tell us here mate what the title is so we can taste the sweet glitch Grin

I'm interested in this progression thing. I was playing Candy Jar Clusters by Pragmatic Play the other day, and I'd noticed that there were these jars to the right of the reels

collecting balls/candies like this

and I mistakenly thought that when the jar is full you are immediately getting free spins or something. But when nothing like that happened, and I kept playing and adding new balls to the full jars, I think I've figured out what the progression is. With collecting balls you are just increasing your chance of getting free spins from, say, 0.1% to 0.2%. Your chance is still very slim, but it's true that it keeps increasing with every new ball collected.

What do you guys think?
