601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please, I urge you to buy bitcoin! on: May 07, 2024, 07:58:09 AM
I really love all the discussion. I feel like this kind of discussion can open up doors to talking about how crazy it is we can easily just buy this stuff!

I fear there will be a day when buying Bitcoin...even 1 Satoshi...will involve hurdles.

I'm not saying it won't be accessible everywhere, and to everyone, but I'm just worried for what it will look like when 8 billion people finally understand the concept of Bitcoin, and the community on this forum.

Is it even possible? I mean, can 8 billion people understand anything? Or agree on anything? I'm not sure about this. But if, by some miracle, that happens, the price of 1 BTC can be indeed over $1 million, as some optimists predicted years ago. Those who seemed crazy even by some members of this community will turn out to be right. To be honest, I personally can't wait for that to happen.

Yes, that's enough for you, @Betwrong. With the small bet you make, it is a decent win for you.

You can still get even bigger wins later. You are one of those people who have higher luck than us who are less lucky. I've never played that slot game.

Maybe later I'll try to play it. And maybe I can be lucky too like you Grin

Thanks for your good wishes, @michellee! I wish for you, @michellee, to be among the luckiest gamblers in the future! May you achieve even bigger wins than mine. It's not impossible, it solely depends on luck and nothing else. And luck is something that we all handle the same way. Smiley

I知 surprised to see that this is a Play地 Go slots considering how good the graphics of the games compared to their previous game design which is a classic look. I知 not playing Play地 Go for a long time because they already adjusted the slot volatility to high while they don稚 buy bonus. But reading your post and the way you showcase it makes it very tempting to try this game.

Yeah, the graphics of this game is amazing. It's particularly important for people like me, who play slots for entertainment purposes mostly.

And I agree, 176.60x, which I got, is quite an unexpected multiplier for Play地 Go.

605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Fever. What are your range of thoughts in response to Lucky Winners? on: May 06, 2024, 11:09:17 AM
My thoughts have to do with the lottery winners who end up worse off than before they won the lottery, totally broke and with more debt. They had better learn how to manage their wealth and not get carried away by the drunkenness of joy when it comes to spending their winnings. Have a little brains, please.

Those are interesting stories, actually, thanks for sharing! Yes, "lucky winners" can become very unlucky ones if they if they use all the won money the wrong way. We should never forget about that and we should know that money alone can't bring us happiness. We have to be wise enough to really enjoy our winnings and for that we have to be educated. For those who are uneducated but won big money by chance, I would suggest to spend the money on education. That would be the best way to spend it.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling: Modern entertainment or highly addictive game? on: May 06, 2024, 09:50:01 AM
Both for me , because that is why this is the most popular activities in online in terms of leisure nowadays , in this people are spending so much money for such a time now and that bothers many non gambling people.

So i believe that this is entertaining at the same time addicting because that is what gamblers do now, they even giving people hard time in terms of expenses because of this addicting field .

A severe addiction is a bad thing definitely, but just an addiction the way you are addicted to Netflix or bubble gums, I think there's nothing wrong with that. Gambling is a good entertainment, and since we love it so much it's no wonder we are a little bit addicted to it.  It's important to stay in that state without going over the edge because once you step in that territory of heavy losses, massive borrowings and unfounded big expectations it will be hard to get out of there without professional help.

608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stopping the curse of losing streak? on: May 06, 2024, 08:56:19 AM
~

I use to remember those strategy during the old days of playing dice, something similar that since you think that you can't lose more than 5x in a 98% losing streaks then you'll just keep adding to your bet size to recover your loses only to find out that there's no assurance that the kind of losing streaks will take place.

You'll just ends up regretting that kind of strategy and lose a lot of money, thinking that it will bring something decent but in return it's just another bad time with your gambling sessions.

5 times in a row with 98% win chance? I've never heard of such case to be honest. But as I showed above in my post, even two losses in a row with that win chance could be enough for you to lose so much that if you are a sane person you will not continue with your attempts to recover your losses. With five such losses in a row you can gamble away a budget of a small country. Smiley
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: May 06, 2024, 07:50:30 AM
~

That is actually a real problem that I see among parents. Sometimes, when I see they play with kids (does not matter if it is gambling, board games or sports games), they play like they compete against equal adult. That is really annoying when I see adults beat kids, let say in chess, and call it as a valuable lesson, because kids needs to learn that the life if tough.

Yeah, I agree, that's just annoying to watch, and hardly it gives kids any valuable lessons. Rather, they think "when I grow up I will be able to beat all the kids around in any game too!".

I hope you realize that I didn't that kind of game. What I meant was playing a casino game, online or land-based one, in front of your kid in order to show him that it's easy to lose a lot of money in a short period of time, and that wins happen much less often than losses, stuff like that.

~
Btw, what about playing monopoly? Game with play money, but it teaches about investment, trading. If people avoid gambling in front of kids because they are afraid that kids will grow up addicted to gambling and lose money. Then why Monopoly is different? Because kids might grow up addicted to trading and lose money. Wikipedia says Monopoly is suited for +8 yo.

Monopoly is different because of the pace of the game, first of all. Anyone who ever played this game knows that there's no rush, you can take your time to think about your next move. I think it's possible that because of playing Monopoly some kids might grow up addicted to trading and lose money later, but it's very unlikely.
610  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: May 06, 2024, 06:49:00 AM
If I am to make a choice of investment on casinos token, then the only project o can give my trial to is RLB since the casino have a good presence and long term track records,  and also considering the amount of time that the token have survived the market crises and demand,  all that made the coin to have good foundation that can easily translated into impact for the token which is what will increase the value of the token.

RLB coin is now 50% down from its ATH in November 2023, but overall I think the coin is doing great. Indeed it has survived a lot of crashes since it was introduced in 2022. These's an article called "Rollbit coin price prediction 2024-2033", and they predict $5.48 in 2033:

I have no idea if it's reliable, but I personally think that the chances of that happening are high.

I believe this is also true for BTC, you must be rooted in the technicalities before having a good.head way. Which bitcointalk.org is helping so much

Thank you for your good words!

At first I wanted to write some sarcastic comment after reading this "no fruits without the roots" thing, but then I read the next sentence and changed my mind.

Thank you for your good words.
613  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to stop overthinking? on: May 03, 2024, 11:34:20 AM
Overthinking has been a big problem in most of the peoples life. Gives you a negative attitude, affects your relations with friends, family etc. How can you possibly stop yourself from overthinking when probably you have no control of what to think?

Keep yourself busy with different activities. It won't help if those activities will boring for you. You will just be thinking and overthinking while doing those jobs, so find something really engaging for yourself and start doing it.

And upon results, when they are in most losses, they cannot let it pass so they become aggressive.

Aggressiveness may be a good thing when you are fighting your enemy on the battlefield, but it rarely helps in gambling. I'm saying "rarely" instead of "never" because in some extremely rare cases people do win because of their aggressive behaviour. It happens by chance, like those cases when people hit the Jackpot in a lottery, but it happens and it would be wrong to say that people always lose because of their aggressiveness. Most of the time, however, people lose and lose really big amounts when they start acting like that. Be cool and enjoy your gambling experience without going over the edge, that's what I would say to beginners if they want to stay out of gambling addiction.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: May 03, 2024, 09:50:28 AM
Aside from wins I don't really think there is much of an achievement in gambling except your are looking at a few other benefits like stress reduction for some gamblers that take gambling as more of a fun and leisure activity.

Stress reduction is much more important, for me at least, than wins, small or big. I mean, winning $100k or more would be nice, of course, but it's very likely that it will never happen in my life. But if I win $200, those feeling I get when winning it are much more important than money itself.

Sometimes when some gamblers take their gambling goals too high they tend to lose their track of proper gambling habits. This is because some of them can begin to over stake just because they want to hit a particular target.

Right, don't aim for getting big money from gambling in the first place. Aim for entertainment and relaxation, and then will never be disappointed if you play the games you love. Winning money from it should be your secondary goal.

forum user freebitco.in PR only promotes whatever is the latest from this site's promotions and that account also announces weekly lottery winners but never seems to announce Lambo winners or maybe I missed it, but we need Thequin to clarify this why hasn't a Lambo winner been announced in the round yet? 10, even though I only have a few golden tickets, at least I still have a little hope of winning, sometimes I'm also curious about the announcement and who knows what will happen, I hope everything is fine.

Oh man, me too! Smiley I have only 3 Golden Tickets for the Round 10 but my hope is always with me. Even just one ticket is enough to have hope.

Hopefully this site doesn't go bankrupt and still has enough money for a Lambo prize to the winner,

FreeBitco.in? Are you joking, mate? They will never go bankrupt. Not in this century for sure.

I don't know for sure that everything is good enough, but there is only one answer that we can probably wait for in this thread, namely an announcement from Thequin so that everyone calms down and doesn't think negatively on this site, ~

I don't remember him saying that. Can you give me a link? TheQuin had been absent on this forum for couple of weeks in April, but he's active now, Last Active: April 29, 2024, 04:37:46 AM. Although the last post by him was made a month ago.

and they announced that "9 Days Left to Win a Lamborghini" in their tweet from Mar 29, 2024. So, it looks like it's 19 days today since the winner was determined. And no word about it neither from TheQuin, nor from freebitco.in PR. Not cool.

Unfortunately, it seems that periodic delays are becoming normal for Freebitcoin, and it isn't clear what this is related to and what is going on inside the Freebitcoin team. For comparison, if I'm not mistaken, the 9th round of the Lambo lottery ended on October 11, then the list of tickets and the winner's ID was published already on October 13, i.e. it took them only 2 days at that time.

That was really great of them. I hope this time it won't be taking much longer from now on.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: May 03, 2024, 07:50:16 AM
~
You ultimately have control of your actions.

It can be a difficult day, or week, month, or year, etc, but at the end of the day it is simply one day at a time.

You can get out of a bad situation, one day at a time. It just takes time, but if you keep advancing every day, you eventually will get better.

I agree with this, absolutely. If you are addicted to gambling, you have to decide to make one step at a time in the direction of freeing yourself from the addiction. You just have to start from something. For example, if you were accustomed to borrowing money for your gambling, say to yourself "I will never do that again!". And then start counting days that have passed without you borrowing money. Celebrate each such day like a victory, because indeed it's a victory over your weakness. Be strong.
618  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: May 03, 2024, 07:20:47 AM
~ When there is no money to gamble such person don't mind going extramile to source for funds since he has install this mentality of regularly gambling without giving break.

My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.

In regards to upping your chances of winning something big, gambling every day is surely better than gambling once a year, BUT, and that's a big "but", you have to consider how much you are spending on your gambling too. If you buy a lottery ticket for $2 once a year, you can afford it even if you are a poor person. But if you buy several tickets each day, or play slots  or whatever kind of gambling you prefer, spending $10-$20 on that every day, then even if you are are not poor, it can be problematic. So, you should always take into account how much you spend on your tries.
619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Claw Machines: a category of gambling? on: May 03, 2024, 06:42:42 AM
Hahahhaha very very good question is Claw Machines: a category of gambling? Claw machine is everywhere and kid loves it, adult people loves it I mean who dont like this game hahahah and this is personal opinion but I would condider claw machine as mini gambling machine  Grin why because I heard that the owner of the claw machines can setup how much power the claw is and if you have weak claw meaning you need extra careful and focus to win the prize

Yes, and it depends on how much current is going through the mechanism. And even if you have a strong claw, it doesn't matter how "extra careful" you are because the claw can drop the prize intentionally before reaching the prize box. Whether it's gambling or not? I'd call it a rigged gambling. It's when you know that the game is rigged and no matter how skillful or lucky you are it all depends on to what degree it was rigged before you started playing. There's a chance it was rigged to your favour, and then you are "lucky".
620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: May 02, 2024, 11:29:10 AM
~

We cannot see our future so there's a chance that after a big win we got a big loss. So in the end of the day we should take good care of ourselves in order to prevent such mistakes. Anyways patience is the best thing we have in our life cause patience is like discipline and self control so if we have that we can avoid further losses. But if w don't have that then there's a chance that we will loss a big amount of money. Cause after we won we still put our bet without knowing the possible outcome.

If you mean "patience" in that sense then I agree with you. If you call people who want to win right away and so they make more and more bets one after another, while it would be better for them to have patience and simply wait for that day when they win, I totally agree you. As it often happens in our lives, we lack patience and that's why we feel unhappy, or, what is even worse, we act recklessly staking more and more until we lose everything.
