Why don't you just send your coins to gox first?
That's what I do when I reformat mine, just in case I can't get my keys back and working for whatever reason.
zip the file with a password, and then email it to yourself

BFL has shown production boards (though has yet to show that they actually work). They are so far the only company to show a physical product.
Though all three companies, Avalon, btcfpga, and bfl have all had past products in the fpga market so it is reasonable to assume they are not scams (I hope).
I threw some cash at "BTCFPGA" but ignored the other two, purely because BTCFPGA allowed the use of a credit card. Any no show would be wire fraud, plus the CC company cover for non-delivery. The other two have managed to convince me I'd rather not take the risk until they have at-least one device out in the public, basically because they are black hole financing, with ZERO chance to recover funds if something goes wrong. um, I bought my BFL SC with Paypal...with my credit card.

'tis true.
Microwaves vibrate atoms to cause heat.
Heat itself is EM radiation. That can damage.
Sunburn is EM radiation damage
X-rays... gamma rays... All a part of the EM spectrum.
You moron. Radiation is radiation is radiation in NOT CORRECT There are 2 different types of radiation. Ionizing (gamma particles) and non ionizing (tv, radio) radiation ... With over 50 years of research there is NO EVIDENCE that ANY non ionizing radiation can cause cancer Who the fuck mentioned ionizing radiation or cancer? That was general information for the uneducated dumbarses. Dickwad.

With sitting in a 35-40 Degree Celcius Environment, they sit at about 75-80 degrees (some vary to 85%)
When they were sitting on my balcony they were sitting at 70-75.
This is with the LATEST ( 2011) bios updates, and fan set to automatic. The fans are usually zooming away at 80% (4200RPM)
