Sorry if this has been asked/answered already, are those accounts traditional UK based bank accounts, or Isle of Man/Guernsey type accounts?
UK bank account. Not that it would matter, they all have Faster Payments I only ask, as Marc Warne (Bittylicious) apparently still cannot get a standard UK bank to entertain his business after nearly a year of trying, going by his recent BBC Radio 4 interview. I know, neither can CoinFloor (so far, anyway) or any of the other exchanges that have attempted it. Care to share, how you have managed to secure this banking arrangement?

You value a company over $500k with no record, no sales and not yet fully functional exchange?
Do you have a working demo that you can show to potential investors?
To accept fiat deposit and withdraw, you will need a money transmitter license. Do you plan to acquire the license? And how much does it cost to acquire such license in UK?
We have a working demo, bank accounts and hardware. We don't need a license in the UK, although we will be getting one. That costs £50. Yes, a whole £50. For US and Canadian customers we are hoping to work with Crypto Financial, they do have the licenses. Dark Escrow
Would anyone be interested in this? The idea is that i would run a nxt orderbook but unlike a normal orderbook it would be kept secret. If you placed a buy or sell order you wouldnt know whether it would be filled, you wouldn't know who filled it, and most importantly it wouldn't move the price of nxt. This sort of thing would require a very high degree of trust granted, but i think i have worked very hard to earn the trust of this community. My fee would be higher than normal, im thinking 2% instead of my usual 1% because i would have to manage the orderbook and everything also. Also this service would be for serious players. Small fish can just go to the exchanges and they dont have to worry about moving the market, so this would have a minimum order size. What do you guys think? would anyone be interested?
Granted that since protecting peoples privacy would be an important part of this service, if you would be interested feel free to tell me so in a pm instead of in this thread. If i get enough people to agree to place orders than ill go ahead and start this thing.
Reminds me of the WOLF project. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=471166.msg5200255#msg5200255The dev has lost interest. They are looking for someone to replace him and revive it.

haha. my asset is the only asset where its a great thing for nxt if the price crashes *edit* wait maybe shortnxt? I think the Silver asset would be a better hedge against a NXT price drop right. Doesn't NXTShort have no or negative value if the NXT price goes up? I wasn't 100% sure how that asset works. it works the same as the silver asset but is like a financial instrument. if NXT/BTC rises, the shortNXT price goes down and vice-versa Cool, So is all the buying/selling of it with the asset maker, or are others trading NXTShort with eachother? thanks. I'll watch the candlesticks and wait for the inevitable retracement and pick up some NXTShort. Asset issuer is placing bid/sells i think once a day. But you have to trust the asset issuer to payout when he says he will. Otherwise this asset is just worthless junk. Be always aware of the counterparty risk and check out the 2nd party (in this case Lophie iirc) Edit: also checkou the payment formula, it is not a linear output!Thats something thats puzzling me, when Nxt doubles/triples from here. Is it logarithmic down to 1 or something? I don't remember it fully but it was something like this: % of NXT/BTC performance is reversed every 24 hours: If NXT gains 10% on a day, than NXTshort will drop 10%. If NXT drops 10% on a day, than NXTshort will rise 10%. This is obviously very flawed, because if NXT gains more than 100% on a certain 24hour period, the price goes subzero? I guess Lophie has his ways of dealing with those situations. Cheers Me thinks, Lophie is going to be a busy boy for a few weeks!

...Alex Salmond.
He is going to need his own crypto-currency soon!

But will dogecoin also have this logistic price rise.
In my analysis, no. Dogecoin is failing in its coin emission schedule making it prone to 51% attack. That can be repaired by making it ever-inflationary though. But the network effects favor that there can only be one all-purpose crypto, and clearly that is Bitcoin, and this is evident from the constant price erosion of DOGE - the holders are slowly returning to BTC. I have found only one coin except BTC, which has a good enough potential to even be around in 3 years, to warrant an investment. And that one is Monero, MRO. Second generation coins like NXT, fail very big time in that all the coins are premined. I can never believe that 100% fiat "coins" could ever become voluntarily used. And I have 1000 years of monetary history behind me showing that at times people have rather died than used the state-mandated fiat. Good luck trying it without having the monopoly of coercion behind you! How much %, of those 100% Nxt premined coins, would equal enough utility and critical mass, to be called a successful premine?

DGulari had some great points a few posts back - I couldn't agree with him more.
Just wow.

Other than the fact it will probably be academic anyway soon, it would not be that difficult to convert existing shares to an asset on the Nxt Asset Exchange, and distribute accordingly to existing shareholders new Nxt accounts. They then can be traded on the decentralized AE. http://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/wiki/Asset_Exchange

Anyone got some new information?!
Unless someone actually starts to disrupt Jons day-to-day life, expect the same insulting non-information, that his lawyer told him to play out. Baffles me why not one person has thought it valuable to take a trip with some recording equipment, some questions, and a goal to expose damaging incompetence. Wheres Coindesk when you need them!?
