1501  Other / Meta / Re: [Curiosity] What is the offence of Imgur? on: May 14, 2023, 02:12:36 PM

Since I can't find anyone talking about it, I am curious as a new member to know what is happening on https://imgur.com. There must be a reason for an image uploading site to just be disabled and the alternatives were left alone.

Imgur images suddenly became invalid?

OP, is your vision okay?
Do not expand the discussion, close the topic.
1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter is considered as investors with a big patience. on: May 14, 2023, 01:58:50 PM
Are you laughing? The bounty hunter and investors, you want to call it the same thing? What you call patience when participating in a bounty, I will call laziness. You are too lazy to learn, too lazy to study Bitcoin, too lazy to participate in discussions, and thereby gain the privilege, of subscription companies paying in Bitcoins.
Do bounty hunters hold onto their shitcoins until projects develop, as investors do?
Is it possible to compare you with investors, people who have money? Investors invest their earned money, realizing that they can live for a while without them.
Bounty hunters cherish the hope of getting a few pennies, which are vital to them.
Look how many complaints we hear about bounty hunters not getting paid. Tears of hard work, if hunters worked offline instead of wasting time on retweets, many would already be much more successful.

What's worse is you appear to have a bunch of accounts on this forum

Thanks, nutildah . I lost where and when I wrote about this user. But he knew for sure that something was wrong with him.
In addition, about the conversation that this account may also belong to the Zilon account. In addition to the previously found matches for the Bitcoin address, you can also see the total transactions with the BSC wallet.

Therefore, to say that the dbc23 account is clean as water would be stupid, OP.

1506  Economy / Reputation / Re: How much longer will JollyGood take to reverse his feedback? on: May 14, 2023, 10:36:35 AM
So you bought the account in July 2021 - yes?
You have chosen to abuse the trust system what do you mean by bought account. What is your proof. You drop a feedback without a valid proof. I chose to have a break and came back in 2021 July how does that mean I bought the account

I can explain or suggest Timelord2067's suspicion that your account may have been bought.

Follow carefully:

You have returned to the forum after three years of absence. Your first post after waking up (I haven't looked at the archives) shows the date July 10, 2021, 6:30:15 PM

On the same day, you send 10 merits, 5 merits per post, to the account that had a connection with the account seller. Your time to read two posts, and decide to give 10 merits, did not take a minute. Do you think that you can believe in the randomness of these estimates?

https://bpip.org/smerit.aspx?from=dbc23&to=Mistafreeze

The account itself to which the merits were sent has already been banned.

I also think that you are not the real owner of this account, but I will not leave any tags, but I can say that I do not believe you either.

Has anyone read the OP's post history? He has several plagiarisms, a bunch of open topics to which he never answers, and his second account was banned. Where does he get the desire to read something if he exists on the forum with only one intention, to write nonsense on the forum, creating dozens of new topics?
Some people do not understand the purpose of the forum, they need attention from people.  OP lacks offline attention, or something else, but his only 7 merits stand still for a very long time, despite his passionate desire to get more.
Advising him to read and develop is the same as offering an illiterate person to read the alphabet. Unfortunately, the OP is very stupid.

There are rumours that Coinbase may list PEPE soon, even if the token’s growing community has criticised the exchange as a result of an email that referred to Pepe the frog as a ‘hate symbol.’ Regardless of how that particular drama plays out, there’s little question that PEPE has already outgrown its dubious beginnings as another trashy meme token.
It currently has over 105,000 holders, up from only a few thousand a week ago. Given this momentum, and given the fact that whales are stocking up on the token, PEPE could easily see a recovery to $0.000002 and higher in the next few weeks. Bigger gains will depend on whether the token can attract a few more listings from major exchanges.

I'm pretty sure Jr. Member Web$$$ copied this post when he bumped a 13 years old topic, but I can't find a source:
The value of the digital currency bitcoin has fallen by a third in less than a week. At the beginning of last week, its value was close to $20,000.  But on Friday, the price of Bitcoin fell to 11 thousand dollars. At the beginning of this year, the price of Bitcoin was like 1 thousand dollars.  Since then its value has suddenly increased. bitcoin-techshohor analysts were already warning against investing in it.  In the meantime, its price has started falling for the past few days.  That decline is still ongoing. Charles Hutter, founder of cryptocurrency website CryptoCompare, said many people are selling bitcoins to cash out because of the high price.  As a result, its price is now falling. In this situation, economists have warned about investing in Bitcoin.

I found another post-copy.

Earlier, I had already informed the moderator about his posts. Today, firstly, he leaves his posts that do not belong to discussions of the topic; in addition, he copies them from other sources.

What is bouncy program in ICO campaign?
One of the goals of any marketing strategy is to ensure as much market penetration as possible for the product/service.  By doing so, many people can learn about the company, what they offer and how to interact with their products and services.  It helps to increase face-to-face advertising which increases sales.  Since the dawn of the digital age, there has been a lot of emphasis on social media marketing.  Using internet based platforms to promote a business.  Bowtie programs are usually an integral part of any digital marketing and promotional organization.

1509  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone used WebMoney before? on: May 13, 2023, 01:13:26 PM
I have been using this service for longer than Bitcoin has existed. Yes, everything is not simple, but for me, this is a fairly secure service. It must be said right away that if you are looking for anonymity, then in this case, this is not your service. The Service contains certificates of trust, based on which you receive limits on the withdrawal of digital money. Similarly, there is a business level that can be explained as a level of trust. The longer you are in the system and the more transactions you make without any complaints, the more confident you can be using this service.
1510  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is self-meriting possible? on: May 13, 2023, 12:12:01 PM
Yes, you can merit yourself but you would need two accounts for it. A lot people do this on the platform and they get away with it. People own multiple accounts and once they get merited on one account, they send that merit to their other account. This is very unfair because it denies other people who actually deserve the merits.

While it is possible to merit with an alt account, doing so is not recommended.
If you look through the Reputation board, you'll notice that there are threads open against those who were caught in the act of self-meriting their own posts using their alt account.

I agree, however, there are many people who do not see this as a problem. Recall the famous liar naim027 and how he exchanged merits with his alternative account Dic3L0v3r.
Since the user cannot deserve himself, and it is not possible to do so, of course, opening a second account can easily solve this problem. Moreover, it will always be a moot point whether to leave him tags or not. I think this statement from the admin says very well that the exchange of merit is not a big problem. Cheesy

If a DT member tags you for something stupid involving merit (ie. probably anything less than selling merit), then they're not going to be a DT member for much longer.
1511  Economy / Economics / Re: The thin line between contentment & living below potential, Patience & wasting t on: May 13, 2023, 08:04:47 AM

There is a lot a thin line between wasting time and patience. How can we know that we are not wasting our time doing a business?

To understand if you are wasting your time, you need to do something. Just by thinking about it, you will never feel all the joy or pain of the work you have begun. I'd say it's better to try and regret it than to do nothing. The one who once got rich took risks. He risked his money and his name, but he tried, maybe even more than once.

If we talk about satisfaction, then we can say that people are different, not everyone, and having a lot of money plays a big role in life. Look at the people in art. Artists, musicians, poets, and scientists are people of a different mindset. They rejoice in their hobbies, and not everyone immediately has a good financial situation. I would call such people lucky.

Therefore, among us, there will always be people who are content with little but feel happier than those who are constantly chasing profit. And if you look around, then there are a lot of such people on the forum today.
1512  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should use spare money to invest on: May 13, 2023, 07:09:58 AM

Is better to use small money or learn risk management first before investing especially newbies.

Is this your final result? By investing a small amount of money, you will always get a small profit. Don't forget about that too.
For a beginner who does not understand all the risks that can be associated with investments, it is better to stay away altogether. Do not rush; find out more about where and how much you can invest. Learn how to take care not to lose your investment, including all possible risks and ways to store it; be sure that you have other income that will not leave you and your family without funds; and only then make decisions.
If you think that today you will invest a small amount and tomorrow you will double it, in the end, you will lose everything.
1513  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which of this is plagiarism ? on: May 13, 2023, 06:51:47 AM
Based on my experience, what I see is this: if you see that a post is written using AI and then submit it to the moderators for review, and they agree with you by deleting this post, the user will receive a temporary ban. You must be sure that the post was written by AI. You can compare the recent actions of the user with an unexpected change in posting, i.e., suddenly the account began to write competent and large posts. In this case, there may be a temporary ban.
In all other cases, feel free to send reports to the moderators; they will draw their own conclusions and make further decisions.
1514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Internet is one limitation of bitcoin on: May 12, 2023, 02:58:40 PM
Isn't something that your freedom to use internet? For sure the government announced something regarding to the down of internet services, but if it was permanent and not temporary then I definitely not let it slide since there's a lot of people in a country that are relying on the internet like home-based jobs, communication via internet and also the crypto industry. I couldn't even imagine a world that there's no internet since my money sources are from online. If that's the case you could try the recommendation above mentioned about satellite but it's my first time hearing about it.

I hope that the problem with the Internet is temporary. Read the news: in Pakistan, the government shut down the internet indefinitely due to popular unrest. https://technoblender.com/pakistan-internet-restrictions-could-be-indefinite/
Innocent people are forced to accept government decisions. I don't think the lack of internet will last long.

Another topic dedicated to the story of investing mother-father-brother? Smiley

500$ for the first investment in bitcoin. Isn't it too risky? And if a newbie friend makes a mistake with the address or something else, it will be a shame. Why not try with a small amount first to practice?

By the way, when did your friend buy btc? Were there high transaction fees back then?

Yes, with a salary of $400, a friend invests all $500; why waste time on trifles? Grin
But something else is interesting; read the posts previously written by him. He recently did not know which wallet to use himself, being a newbie, with registration six days ago. And of course, who better than him to agitate a friend to invest in Bitcoin?
OP, the story is made up; you are not new here, and you know how and what to write in order to get merit. As you can see, people are already fed up with such tales. But for diligence and cunning, you five

Did not even look at their post history, I figured it was just someone who wanted to do something because they 'know better' and was going to spend days of time trying to do something that would never work. Just figured I would help them along that path.

Yes, you are right. As the OP stated in his previous posts, he will only listen to users without a signature, since he alone is busy with important business.
I do not think that all the advice will benefit him. In response, he will throw out another bucket of rudeness and rudeness. I wouldn't waste time on it.

The errors of this service do appear regularly on the forum. I found a couple of threads with the same problem.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5242734.msg54278788#msg54278788
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5289234.msg55590719#msg55590719

But people continue to use it, and in the same way, they lose their images from time to time.
The forum has excellent service that is much faster and more convenient; in addition to that, you can use it. https://imgbb.com/
I've been using it for a long time, and fortunately, there were no problems.
1518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: with the high transaction fees btc makes me stronger to hold btc. on: May 11, 2023, 03:36:58 PM

1: having expensive btc transaction fees makes me stronger to hold on to btc because I don't want to waste my money on expensive transaction fees.

To make you strong, as you put it, you don't need high commissions. The fact that you are not selling your bitcoins at this time is not strength, but greed. See the difference? Strong hands mean you don't care about volatility or commissions, whatever they are. You have a certain period that you planned to invest in.
1519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is it to keep your bitcoin investments secret from others ? on: May 11, 2023, 03:17:14 PM
There is a proverb, or even two, that can be applied to the topic.
"Money loves silence" and "Your language, your enemy"
I think everyone understands the meaning of these two proverbs. Many people like to show off, telling, or showing on their social networks, or to their friends about earning in Bitcoin. Boasting, people put themselves in danger, which can come unexpectedly from scammers. There are too many envious people and other dishonest people in the world who can go to crime to take what they think someone else has. The most ridiculous and at the same time terrible can happen to someone who boasted about the amount of bitcoin in his wallet but did not have the amount he was talking about. It will not be difficult for bouncers with a wrench to find out his passphrase from a wallet, so the most expensive “gold” is silence. No matter how much the earnings are, there is no need to shout about it, vanity is a bad quality that never leads a person to good.

Geoff Kendrick, the head of forex research at Standard Chartered, believes that if the US defaults on its debt obligations, the price of BTC would rise 70% to more than $40,000. He called a possible default an unlikely event that could still caouse serious consequences. Therefore, investors who consider BTC a safe haven will pour their funds into the major coin if the market falls.
If a default is declared, the surge in BTC price won’t start immediately. The surge would be preceded by a fall of around $5000, after which the coin would rise by $25,000. While BTC will follow a bullish trend, prices of other cryptos may decline.

As Bitcoin Ordinals gain popularity, many experts believe that the technology will evolve and improve in the coming years. In particular, we can expect:
• Improved functionality
• Development of infrastructure projects
• Expansion of the scale and scope of adoption.
Such developments should make the cryptocurrency ecosystem more integrated.
