1281  Economy / Reputation / Re: Content written by AI, spamming the forum. on: June 13, 2023, 06:28:18 AM
OP, feel free to report this kind of spam to the moderators. I can say from experience that the moderators do an excellent job with it. Just tell the moderators that the text belongs to "chatbot text".
And if any of the unsubscribes above doubt that this account uses AI, pay attention to the speed with which these posts are created—the typical work of an AI tool.

1282  Economy / Reputation / Re: 'John Abraham ≈ naim027' Coincidence or Connection? on: June 12, 2023, 02:51:13 PM
After reading some of the history of his posts, you can understand that the John Abraham account must have its own active alt, or else assume that he read the forum without going to it for a long time before he decided to log in.
In the history of April Fools' Contests, he claims to have witnessed the prank while he was away from the forum. But there is the participation of Naim027.
John Abraham remembers in great detail even the order of The Sceptical Chymist's answer, which indicates a very active participation.
If you check, the appearance on the forum of John Abraham was on June 26, 2022, which does not coincide with his participation in the April Fool's drawing.

Please follow carefully:

Most of the forum users knew something was coming from theymos. Last year The Sceptical Chymist was The Pharmacist, and I remember he wrote the first reply when theymos came up with the IQ score thing. Back then, I wouldn't say I liked how The Sceptical Chymist asked in which timezone theymos lived in because I didn't get the term he used. Last year, almost 75% of forum users were fooled because of the IQ score prank.

But if you compare it to this year. I won't say it was successful enough. People started creating threads on 30th March (Like seriously?) about the April fool. So, most forum members already know something is coming up. If you didn't get fooled, It's okay; let others. But, People are creating more and more topic and letting everyone knows, "Guys, it's April Fool, Guys, It's April Fools." WTF man? What is the point? Catching some merits? I would say we ruined it.

Biiiiiiiiiiiitch, what time zone do you live in?  It's too early for this shits.  I'm going to sell my account if this nonsense keeps up--anybody interested?

You got it. Look at the time zone theymos created this thread. This is April fools.
Let me tell everyone that, This is April Fools
If this is not, This is going to be a failure this year 2022. This event is going to be awarded in the Next Bitcointalk Community awards.

@theymos, Whenever I post, If I see another post warning while I was typing, It gives me a new trivia and my scores fall due to this. Do you believe this is my fault?

Does any reader of the forum remember the details of the answers to other people's posts?

naim027 you screwed up Grin
1283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 12, 2023, 01:05:22 PM
The meaning of the post is not entirely clear. How can Bitcoin free women from the office or any work outside the home, just as it can reward women with work at home?
OP, you are talking nonsense. Any woman can invest in Bitcoin, but for this she needs funds that she must take from somewhere, right? If you mean to engage in trade, then again, what is the difference between a woman and a man?
In addition to everything else, in our time, many businesswomen are engaged in their businesses and successfully combine family with work. I don’t know what country you live in where you don’t have the opportunity to leave your children in a safe society, but in a civilized society, there have long been children’s organizations that not only look after children but also successfully influence their education.
1284  Economy / Reputation / Re: 'John Abraham ≈ naim027' Coincidence or Connection? on: June 12, 2023, 09:58:20 AM
If John Abraham turns out to be really Naim027, then we are in for an exciting show. This guy is dodgy as a snake. I also noticed some of John Abraham's abrupt appearances in the meta and the way he communicates, but I thought I was getting shamelessly suspicious.

Mahdirakib, I've seen your previous posts related to Naim027's exposure. I respect that you keep catching him; maybe you have better reasons for spying on him.
1285  Economy / Reputation / Re: rby distrust me without any reason on: June 12, 2023, 09:43:53 AM

By the way, I just have a sharp question; I really don't know about it or may have missed reading it somewhere on the forum. The question is, "How do I know that someone has added me to their distrust list? Would someone be so kind as to point me to this, please?

You already have your own list of people you personally trust. In the same way, nicknames of people who do not trust you may appear on this list. (~Dr.Bitcoin_Strange's judgment is Distrusted by:)
If you have created your trust list, I think you understand that by adding a tilde to the name, you are sending a person to a list of people whose reviews you do not believe.
Although if there is a chance to express sympathy, I would trust you more than the opposite.

1286  Other / Meta / Re: Report plagiarism (copy/paste) here. Mods: please give temp or permban as needed on: June 12, 2023, 09:13:24 AM
My first time reporting here.
I saw these posts coming successively in a thread in Bitcoin discussion board. One copied or paragraphed the other. I thought I should report here but then I wasn't sure of the original owner. So, I had to run a plagiarism test and discovered that the original source is from here https://fnote.net/notes/rN6s9m
So, both the first poster and the second plagerised. It could mean we have first level and second level plagiarism.  Grin

Please help check if my report is bad

A typical example of using an AI tool, One account has already been banned, and the other is labeled as a spammer and continues to litter the forum. I sent the reports to the moderators, and I hope they will stop his activities on the forum.
1287  Economy / Reputation / Re: rby distrust me without any reason on: June 11, 2023, 02:49:46 PM

If he don't want to trust me, it should be in the middle of trust and distrust which is neutral, if he distrust me that's mean he not trust everything I do in this forum. It's true any user can leave any feedback, include exclude someone in their trustlist, create flag etc, but everyone are always stick with this rule LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system

Do's and Don'ts
  • Don't exclude users from your Trust list based on retaliation. It's okay to trust someone's judgement, even when he doesn't trust yours.

Do you know what you want? You added the tilde to it yourself, didn't you? So he should swallow it and put up with it? What makes you think that a person you do not know should trust you at a time when you do not believe him? I don't understand. Ignoring posts is also a way out, and you cannot know if he does it or not; this, again, is his own business.

Don't forget, personal trust lists are everyone's business.
1288  Economy / Reputation / Re: rby distrust me without any reason on: June 11, 2023, 01:14:39 PM
I just presented how JollyGood, with his trust list, explains to all the dissenters why he gave them a tilde. Smiley
OP, no one owes you anything. A person can put a tilde sign for any action, maybe rby does not want to trust you without any explanation, especially in public. And this is a better action than leaving reviews, which are sometimes without reason. Just accept the rule that you can't be loved by everyone.
1289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stop gambling (sports betting, casino e.t.c)? on: June 11, 2023, 10:20:16 AM
Some people lack the willpower to stop on time. When gambling turns into addiction, I would not underestimate its significance with drug addiction, since the human psyche breaks down in both cases. If you get up in the morning and your thoughts are occupied with only one idea of the game, just like with this idea of the game when you go to bed, you can be called a depressed person. You have fallen into the trap of greed and excitement, a vice from which you urgently need to get out.
Many specialists deal with such people; we can say that the cost of a visit to them is no less than playing games; however, it is better to give money there and get out of this mania than to become a slave, spend everything you earn, and lose again.

1291  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Goal Achievement on: June 11, 2023, 04:16:48 AM
Bitcointalk is a broad community where bitcoin technologies and informations are been discussed, so what I observed in Bitcointalk is that for me to go further I have to read what others has written properly and make my contributions to where I understand a discussion. Another thing I notice that contributes to achieving our goals easily here is by making a good sentence with punctuation marks where necessary and correct spellings because good sentence will make a reader to understand our point of view properly, observation plays a major role in achieving our goals here because when you observe some you feel thats not well explained you can ask question for more explanation or you may even quite the person on the contrary that's if you know it , seriousness is another way of making our goals to be fulfilled, I wish to be like other member who has achieve some goals in this forum.

OP, you seem to understand everything correctly, but try to re-read your text several times. Are you familiar with periods in sentences, as well as capital letters? All your text is a continuous stream, without stopping. I think you need to be more careful and stop more often when you have something to say.
I think that KingsDen could explain everything to you correctly. Smiley
1292  Other / Meta / Re: Why is this system not set up for the Bitcointalk forum? on: June 11, 2023, 03:43:08 AM
OP, if you're familiar with online security techniques and know the weaknesses in your account, you'll be hard to hack. If you do not click on other people's links, use your account separately from visiting other sites, have a strong password, and are always attentive, it is unlikely that your account will be of interest to a hacker. You should always take responsibility for keeping your data in your own hands. First, check yourself to see if you behave correctly on the Internet, among other things, sign your Bitcoin address on the forum, and sleep well.
Your safety is in your hands.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please recommend a reliable Bounty Hunter... on: June 10, 2023, 07:09:24 AM
How long do you want to run a signature campaign? If it was for a long time, I hope to hire @LoyceV, he is an excellent member, and I did not see him running a campaign soon, so he will give you good results.
I took a quick look at "FireDAO", and it's not something I want to support. It's another BS ponzi scam with "ape pictures".
@LoyceV, Hi, old friend. I am RainbowKun. FireDAO is not a Ponzi. I think you may have the wrong website. FireDAO is a project initiated by me and my team, and it is part of RainbowCity. We have been preparing for nearly a year for this project, and we are still developing code every day to ensure that it will be presented in the best possible state. In the future, I will try my best to share with everyone our ideas and concepts behind creating FireDAO. We hope to create a global community together here at FireDAO.

Why do you need all this information, in that case? You and your alternate accounts will be able to successfully promote your project to the moon, or beyond.
Or has Ratimov's theme completely exposed your alts and you no longer have manpower?

1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: June 10, 2023, 06:48:56 AM
If you really have such success as you write about, I think you will not stop until your dream comes true.
Although, as many have written here, this amount can be obtained in a slightly different way. Invest some of your winnings in Bitcoin, so at least you won't be completely broke if you lose big.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 10, 2023, 06:39:38 AM
Precisely because I am passionate, I don't play games. But I know people for whom games have become the meaning of life; they spend all their earned money on the game, lose, borrow from other people, and go back to play.
I think it's a disease. And as soon as someone has the desire to play no matter what, no money, and there are unpaid debts, you need to ring the bell and look for a specialist so that he can get them out of gambling addiction. It's like a drug addiction that should take quite a long time to heal. But, sadly, people who depend on the game are ready to lose both friends and family for the sake of one goal.
1296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend interested in investing in BTC but the friend's father does not agree on: June 09, 2023, 01:46:00 PM
I think he should listen to Dad. If your friend is still dependent on his parents and informs them about his every step, then you should not break the law. You can guess that his parents are very law-abiding people.
I wonder if you, as a friend who breaks the law in your own country, do not arouse his suspicions. If he works as a civil servant, he must choose between friendship and work, reporting to the authorities.
But seriously, why is your friend, who seems to be old enough, consulting with you? Can't he read? The best thing you can do for him is to bring him to the forum and let him understand and figure out how and why he needs Bitcoin and whether he should break the laws of the country.
1297  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Established members and newbies on: June 09, 2023, 01:28:07 PM
I know there used to be such threads on the forum but I don't find them anymore now.

You are not observant Cheesy. The Fillippone theme is very popular if you look closely. And as you can see, beginners know and use it very actively. Although, for real beginners, of course, finding such topics is quite difficult. And we see interview threads where you can get merit, pizza baking contests, and especially enterprising "newbies" churning out their alternative accounts quite easily. I think seeing such tearful topics about how difficult it is for beginners to get up makes people who know how to bake pizza smile very widely.

Yes, if you pay attention, people from the Philippines are very fond of pizza Grin Grin Grin
1298  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk is not an office on: June 09, 2023, 12:38:15 PM
Why don't do both. That's an awesome thing when hobby and making money are the same thing.

Few words, but a lot of meaning.
I can also confess that I came to this forum by accident after seeing a video on YouTube of how people earned something. I heard the word Bitcoin at the time, but I had no idea that there were dozens of altcoins that people who visit this forum allegedly received for some simple actions. We can say that after 2017, when a bounty was shouted from every iron, there were a lot of people like me. Therefore, today's newbies may come to the forum for the same purpose, but some are very hurried, and either they lack interest since, of course, the topics of the forum are quite unique, or there is not enough time to communicate here and get some privileges to earn money.
Therefore, of course, those people who are trying to learn Bitcoin, infected with the atmosphere of the forum and receiving some more bonuses, will talk about it as the most interesting place.
1299  Other / Meta / Re: Where do reports go? on: June 09, 2023, 09:29:44 AM
honestly, I don't see any sense of curiosity in your questions but it that's the case, then global moderators are responsible for checking every board.
I ask this question because I made a mistake recently, so my accuracy percentage drops ( just wanted to know how it's been calculated)

Leave it to the moderators to decide; they may agree with you, while you can draw the right conclusions for yourself. And in the same way, moderators can mark your reports as bad, so you need to accept this and think about why the report was accepted as bad.
If you have already made more than 300 reports, then you will see statistics where you can see one or another rating for each report.
However, remember the rule: "Don't worry too much about your accuracy; one accurate report is worth many inaccurate reports." And keep helping keep the forum clean.
1300  Other / Meta / Re: AI-generated post discussion thread: how to identify & report on: June 08, 2023, 02:08:00 PM
I think it's a good idea. But how should we report it to moderators? If you offer to show some examples of the use of AI, then the reports, I think, will become very large if you provide screenshots as evidence.
Are three examples enough?
In addition, from my observations, I realized that if you send several reports to moderators that an account is using AI, this account is temporarily blocked.
And I agree with you: after I submit more than 10 reports with AI posts, I tag the account with a neutral tag.

Here is an example of such a spammer.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2132496;sa=showPosts
