1401  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which of this is plagiarism ? on: May 13, 2023, 06:51:47 AM
Based on my experience, what I see is this: if you see that a post is written using AI and then submit it to the moderators for review, and they agree with you by deleting this post, the user will receive a temporary ban. You must be sure that the post was written by AI. You can compare the recent actions of the user with an unexpected change in posting, i.e., suddenly the account began to write competent and large posts. In this case, there may be a temporary ban.
In all other cases, feel free to send reports to the moderators; they will draw their own conclusions and make further decisions.
1402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Internet is one limitation of bitcoin on: May 12, 2023, 02:58:40 PM
Isn't something that your freedom to use internet? For sure the government announced something regarding to the down of internet services, but if it was permanent and not temporary then I definitely not let it slide since there's a lot of people in a country that are relying on the internet like home-based jobs, communication via internet and also the crypto industry. I couldn't even imagine a world that there's no internet since my money sources are from online. If that's the case you could try the recommendation above mentioned about satellite but it's my first time hearing about it.

I hope that the problem with the Internet is temporary. Read the news: in Pakistan, the government shut down the internet indefinitely due to popular unrest. https://technoblender.com/pakistan-internet-restrictions-could-be-indefinite/
Innocent people are forced to accept government decisions. I don't think the lack of internet will last long.
1403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend's investment in Bitcoin on: May 12, 2023, 01:29:54 PM

Another topic dedicated to the story of investing mother-father-brother? Smiley

500$ for the first investment in bitcoin. Isn't it too risky? And if a newbie friend makes a mistake with the address or something else, it will be a shame. Why not try with a small amount first to practice?

By the way, when did your friend buy btc? Were there high transaction fees back then?

Yes, with a salary of $400, a friend invests all $500; why waste time on trifles? Grin
But something else is interesting; read the posts previously written by him. He recently did not know which wallet to use himself, being a newbie, with registration six days ago. And of course, who better than him to agitate a friend to invest in Bitcoin?
OP, the story is made up; you are not new here, and you know how and what to write in order to get merit. As you can see, people are already fed up with such tales. But for diligence and cunning, you five

I will not ask OP why because he is used to starting weird threads such as these:
...

Did not even look at their post history, I figured it was just someone who wanted to do something because they 'know better' and was going to spend days of time trying to do something that would never work. Just figured I would help them along that path.

Yes, you are right. As the OP stated in his previous posts, he will only listen to users without a signature, since he alone is busy with important business.
I do not think that all the advice will benefit him. In response, he will throw out another bucket of rudeness and rudeness. I wouldn't waste time on it.
1405  Other / Meta / Re: Imgur images suddenly became invalid? on: May 12, 2023, 11:45:32 AM
The errors of this service do appear regularly on the forum. I found a couple of threads with the same problem.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5242734.msg54278788#msg54278788
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5289234.msg55590719#msg55590719

But people continue to use it, and in the same way, they lose their images from time to time.
The forum has excellent service that is much faster and more convenient; in addition to that, you can use it. https://imgbb.com/
I've been using it for a long time, and fortunately, there were no problems.
1406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: with the high transaction fees btc makes me stronger to hold btc. on: May 11, 2023, 03:36:58 PM

1: having expensive btc transaction fees makes me stronger to hold on to btc because I don't want to waste my money on expensive transaction fees.

To make you strong, as you put it, you don't need high commissions. The fact that you are not selling your bitcoins at this time is not strength, but greed. See the difference? Strong hands mean you don't care about volatility or commissions, whatever they are. You have a certain period that you planned to invest in.
1407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is it to keep your bitcoin investments secret from others ? on: May 11, 2023, 03:17:14 PM
There is a proverb, or even two, that can be applied to the topic.
"Money loves silence" and "Your language, your enemy"
I think everyone understands the meaning of these two proverbs. Many people like to show off, telling, or showing on their social networks, or to their friends about earning in Bitcoin. Boasting, people put themselves in danger, which can come unexpectedly from scammers. There are too many envious people and other dishonest people in the world who can go to crime to take what they think someone else has. The most ridiculous and at the same time terrible can happen to someone who boasted about the amount of bitcoin in his wallet but did not have the amount he was talking about. It will not be difficult for bouncers with a wrench to find out his passphrase from a wallet, so the most expensive “gold” is silence. No matter how much the earnings are, there is no need to shout about it, vanity is a bad quality that never leads a person to good.

Geoff Kendrick, the head of forex research at Standard Chartered, believes that if the US defaults on its debt obligations, the price of BTC would rise 70% to more than $40,000. He called a possible default an unlikely event that could still caouse serious consequences. Therefore, investors who consider BTC a safe haven will pour their funds into the major coin if the market falls.
If a default is declared, the surge in BTC price won’t start immediately. The surge would be preceded by a fall of around $5000, after which the coin would rise by $25,000. While BTC will follow a bullish trend, prices of other cryptos may decline.

As Bitcoin Ordinals gain popularity, many experts believe that the technology will evolve and improve in the coming years. In particular, we can expect:
• Improved functionality
• Development of infrastructure projects
• Expansion of the scale and scope of adoption.
Such developments should make the cryptocurrency ecosystem more integrated.

1409  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is Poses a Great Challenge for Delayed Gratification on: May 11, 2023, 11:38:37 AM
OP, your brand of car is probably obsolete in four years, despite the increase in car prices. Do you still want it, or are you looking for a new one?
Nowadays, it is absolutely impossible to save up for anything of value without investment. Money lying at home "under the pillow" will certainly depreciate. That is why people use loans. Money must always "work", that is, it must be profitable. In my country, there is also a strange pattern, used cars become more expensive than new ones, that is, when buying a new car in the past, it cost less than now, being used. Demand will always create supply.
But I am sure that you have had a good experience and will be able to decide what to do with your deferred fiat in order to increase your capital in the future and fulfill your dream.
In addition, being a fan of the desire to have a car, not chatting with friends, is such an occupation, because it is friends, if they are real, who could help you with buying a car.
1410  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is buying merit parmited on: May 11, 2023, 09:50:09 AM

I didn’t see anywhere the Op said he wants to buy merit, he didn’t say he is having intention to buy or sell merit. The account was created this year and the Op don’t really post frequently, so I Will believe the Op is still a newbie, and I don’t see anything bad in asking about what you don’t really understand about the forum. The Op asked a simple question and you should have answered easily.

You did not take into account his posts, which were deleted by the moderators.
https://ninjastic.space/user/collinscoinz

OP, what happened to you? You have been absent for some time. Did the moderators give you a temporary ban? But now you again decided to spam the forum by opening new topics, and even with a more frank purpose of your stay?
I understand that the first merit is difficult for many, let me give you one as a motivation for you to more valuable posts. Try to accept the forum as a source of valuable information, and not as a source of income. When you accept this, and learn to read and not just write what comes to mind, your merit will come to you for free.
1411  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Merit] Share your best posts/threads with Fillippone to be merit assessed on: May 11, 2023, 09:24:11 AM
Please great fillippone am realy happy for what you are doing for the forum, giving room for the growth of other people especially the newbei,am confused here so that is why i wanna ask some question to clear my doubt, this your promo if i may call it that way,is newbei included because am a newbei and although i might not have a quality post now to warrant this merit promo, but am trying to develop my self.so i just want to know if the newbei is included.

OP, I see that the question of merit is the main goal for you. On this topic, you are a regular visitor. Among other things, your question has already been asked here; it's time to show a different quality of posts, right? Smiley

Greatings great initiative, fililipone, thanks very much for the hard work you have done to bring this forum this far, your work is amazing in this forum God strenghten you,is newbei permitted or qualified to post or reply to get a merit, because am new.thanks big boss.

1412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can a beginner in the forum significantly grow? on: May 11, 2023, 09:05:39 AM
OP, you are being very careful. The forum does not pose any danger to you, but your questions literally scream about it based on your past posts.
You are on a forum about Bitcoin, and here is a lot of information about it. What's more, you're in the newbie section, where people like you are joining the conversation. Why don't you read the topics in this section, for starters and for general understanding? Among other things, you, with your caution, need to read the rules of the forum.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.msg7955645#msg7955645

I can offer a large and interesting catalog of topics from a member of our forum who has collected a lot of information.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5277049.0

But you can also learn more from other sources that users will provide you with soon.
Everything depends on your efforts. It is quite easy for a beginner in the forum to grow if there is a desire. Smiley
1413  Economy / Reputation / Re: Are they too high quality so easy to rank up? on: May 11, 2023, 08:11:30 AM

But there are some users with quality posts that are not much different from my quality, but they are already ranked above me. I asked what they did to make it so easy for them to get it.

OP, you're leaving out one small thing. You are on a forum, and earning merit also means that you will in turn send your merits to other people. But I don't see any movement in you, although, of course, your balance is not great.
Since a person behaves in relation to other posters, namely, he keeps his merits for some significant post, you can think the same about other people. Until you see people to whom you are ready to give your merits, the movement of merits that the administrator meant will not occur.
Look at things more simply, do not demand much from people, and do not value yourself above others, and people will be drawn to you.
1414  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you Spending Money the Wrong Way in Pursuit of Happiness? on: May 10, 2023, 02:53:41 PM
OP: First, find out what danger a.pdf file can carry for users. I would recommend opening such files less and less often, especially posting links to them on the forum.
On the topic, I think that no one has the right to decide who and how to spend their own money. If I enjoy buying cars more than charity or traveling, then who's to say I'm wrong? We're freemen, aren't we? So why should people listen to someone to follow the crowd effect? Each person is an individual; someone likes the little things, and someone likes one-time large purchases. Who here will judge what is true and what is not? Who are the judges?
The phrase that touched me the most was that I should notice the happiness of others. Why should I? I'm not interested. Be individual in everything and live your life.
1415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's nice to be back here. on: May 10, 2023, 08:09:49 AM
OP, your registration was in 2020, and you came here as you were from another forum. I read your story. The big pursuit of merit, the desire to rise in rank, and the behavior of a newbie who teaches how to and not to behave on the forum do not pass you off as a newbie.  We see this often. Further, your whole story is completely immersed in discussions about Bitcoin. It is rather strange that you, who know all the advantages of Bitcoin, got burned investing in altcoins. Smiley Huh

And yes, why do your transactions from the subscription companies you participated in go back to another account? Are you sure you didn't mix anything up, or is your friend, who owns luxury cars and other riches, Alucard1? Grin

1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When using Bitcoin to make purchases, do you feel bad? on: May 08, 2023, 01:25:57 PM
You ask a question about spending Bitcoin on this forum, a place where people are big fans of Bitcoin. No wonder, you will hear thoughts that are in line with your assumption of regret when they spend bitcoin. But if you ask this question somewhere else, you will hear the answer: I see Bitcoin as money with which I can buy something.
It all depends on how people understand the value of Bitcoin and in what capacity they are ready to accept it. Satoshi didn’t just mean holding bitcoin, did he? He assumed people would be bank-free, so why should you care whether you spend your bitcoins or not? You have the freedom to dispose of it as you please, so if you are not ready to spend it, then keep it at the price you want.
1417  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is bitcoin a good option for a beginner in Cryptocurrency? on: May 08, 2023, 12:50:46 PM
OP, Zaguru12 is right in his remark. What do you want to hear? You have come to a forum that is completely dedicated to information about Bitcoin. Read, your posts show that you know about the bear market, and so on; you are not a beginner. Why ask questions to which you know the answers? Why this circus?

1420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The world and bitcoins: the matter of global acceptance on: May 08, 2023, 08:07:31 AM
Forgive the OP, but I see your suggestions as too utopian. How can I get funds back from fraudulent projects? Who will be engaged in the search for scammers? In my opinion, this is nonsense; who needs it if the state does not want to accept Bitcoin? Also, you have combined both Bitcoin and altcoins, which is a big difference.
Therefore, if we talk about the adoption of Bitcoin, then the problem at the moment lies with regulators who cannot come to terms with its decentralized nature. As for other shitcoins, this is not the place to talk about them in a good way.
