1261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without money, the knowledge is a waste on: June 17, 2023, 10:02:52 AM
Why do most link to @Obari's post and link it to the forum? Be honest, everyone involved in signature companies today: how many of you would be investing in Bitcoin if you excluded your participation and receiving money from signature companies? Do not dissemble, but I am sure that there will not be many of them if you check that the majority withdraw money to exchanges and fiat.
Therefore, take @Obari's post as separate knowledge about something, but due to the lack of demand for any knowledge, sometimes it becomes useless. Let me give you an example: students who write here that you cannot get a job in your country, what is wrong with you? You know everything; are you educated?
But if you had connections or money, then you would be more successful in getting a job, since now the rule "you're to me, and I to you" does a lot. To find the sweet spot of work, sometimes you have to pay for something.
The same is true for Bitcoin. How many of you would be able to get a job by excluding this forum so that your knowledge of Bitcoin would come in handy?
1262  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Potential newbies on: June 17, 2023, 06:02:40 AM
So newbies on this forum have made nice contributions to this  forum . however my question is apart from post quality how else can u notice a potential newbie on this forum.
Does post to merit ratio count?

Where did you come to such a conclusion? Personally, I have not seen any benefit, except for creating topics about newcomers in topics that should not contain such information.
Who are you trying to fool, OP? Flashing new threads all over the forum don't make you an important person. Newbies are different. If you want an opinion on yourself, then a few more threads like this, and you'll be labeled a useless shitposter.
1263  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pirated Windows builds with crypto stealer on: June 17, 2023, 05:44:10 AM
Any software that is offered on torrents with supposedly already hacked activation keys will necessarily contain not only a Trojan that steals user data but also many other viruses. I do not think that here, on the forum, this will be news to anyone. It has always been, If you want something for free, you must donate something in return.
Moreover, the Windows system itself is a "sieve" that passes viruses everywhere, and if you use a system to which other people's hands are attached, it is easier for you to simply send your funds to a hacker.
It will sound trite, but the call not to trust Windows has been very relevant for several years, despite all the efforts of Microsoft.
1264  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Stop Teaching When You Need To Learn. on: June 17, 2023, 05:26:41 AM
When I was without a merit I wanted to make this same mistake even when I know nothing but I got orientation from my senior colleagues here that made me to retrace my step, what most of lack is orientation, I got the knowledge that it is more better for us as newbies to read and make more research on everything we think that will help us and and other members of this forum to learn before we make contributions or even teach forum members, As the name implies that's what it is, A newbie is novice with little or without a knowlegde of Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency in general as far as Bitcoin talk is concerned so you ought not to teach when you know nothing, is just like walking faster than your shadow, am very impressed with this thread and I will adhere strictly to this piece of advice as I see it thanks.

You still keep doing the same. You are still without merit; having five merits says little. I followed your history; you don't listen to advice.
The presence of punctuation marks in a sentence will not indicate your literacy. You were advised to use dots in sentences, just like capital letters. But there is no change.
In addition, this is not the first time you repeat the same thing about how beginners should behave.
In the end, start with yourself.
1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can One's Religion Compel A Compulsive Gambler To Quit Gambling on: June 16, 2023, 01:51:58 PM

Is it possible that he will continue playing but secretly?

Is it possible to play secretly with someone you believe in? I think that in every religion, there is a reminder that God sees everything. Who will this player be trying to fool? If he considers religion to be a new trend and being a believer is just a consequence of fashion for him, then I think that the passion for both the game and money will prevail in his "religion."
Christians have an expression: "You cannot serve God and mammon", so for a real person who wants to follow the laws of religion, there should always be only one choice.
1266  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Pig Butchering Scam! on: June 16, 2023, 12:27:57 PM
By staying vigilant, practicing good security measures, and relying on reputable sources for information, you can help safeguard your investments and reduce the risk of becoming a victim of such scams.

Recently they are co.inf with dating or hook up. If a man is not smart he will just fall for victim. These scam is happining mostly in the social media so if you are not be careful then you have yourself to be blame. Don't give them attention when they chat you up.
And another one they normally do again is the sending of the referral link please don't click it. They targeted audience right now the uses of the social media. They are bringing new method to scam victims everytime.

All right. All fraudulent activity very often gains the trust of the victim. That is why it is very dangerous to leave your data, photos, or stories about what happened to you on the Internet. Fraudsters ingratiate themselves under different guises. If a person is lonely, then he will hear the response of a scammer lover; if he is looking for a job, then a scammer's employer or a psychologist is waiting for him, who supposedly will help him become morally stronger and open his own business.
The Internet has long turned into a place where scammers swim like fish, but as long as they manage to catch naive people, such schemes have existed and will continue to exist.
1267  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most underrated tip to avoid losing Bitcoin: stop being lazy! on: June 16, 2023, 12:11:21 PM
It's high time to wake up and stop being lazy and too vulnerable for an attack, if we are to consider most of the scam taken place, the ones we are the major cause of it are many and we are found responsible for them to have taken place because of how we carelessly handle things, i believe that it's not everyone that is good at keeping things safe but when it comes to your financial asset, it's a must for you to learn how to secure yourself and maintain a good and standard security practice, there are hunters looking for prey to feast their teeth through your mistakes or carelessness.

I remembered a recent story that happened in Russia. The official was given a bribe in bitcoins in the amount of 1032.1 BTC.
The funny thing is that he kept all his wealth, that is, the keys to the Bitcoin wallet, on his work laptop, in the most ordinary folder.
Just like that, sometimes people who commit a crime, through their own stupidity, lose what it would seem difficult for others to find.

https://www.gamingdeputy.com/the-head-of-the-tfr-received-a-bribe-in-bitcoins-and-hid-it-in-the-pension-folder/

Sometimes people are lazy, thinking that all warnings are nonsense, and nothing bad can happen to them. But one who listens to others and knows how to secure his funds will never fall into the trap.
It's trite, but true: our security primarily depends on us.
1268  Other / Meta / Re: Bounty spammer meets AI Chat generator. Can they be banned on the spot? on: June 16, 2023, 11:44:01 AM

I'd like to see a second opinion on this user Smiley

There is nothing surprising. The user, as he was Russian-speaking, remained. More precisely, he is Ukrainian, and the events of today, as well as the need to participate in a subscription company, force him to write in English.
I don't think it's the use of AI or other tools. These people, who are inside the events of the war, constantly monitor the news taking place in their country, and I think it is not a problem for them to retell the events in English.
1269  Economy / Reputation / Re: Mahdirakib Insight on: June 16, 2023, 09:31:39 AM
In general, I hope that this drama will stop. During this week, about 4 topics related to that local board were opened.

I don't call this drama. I call this talking about what needs to be talked about in this section. If it turns out that statistically we have proportionally more cases from a given region, let's talk about it. There may even be more naim027 alts active and participating in that local board. Let's talk about it. Otherwise, what is this section for?

This local section can consist of five people if not less, given that Bitcoin is prohibited in their country. In theory, there should be very few users.
Moreover, watch how accounts grow in any contest. It doesn't matter if it's a pumpkin carving contest, a pizza baking contest, or some kind of drawing contest. I get the impression that in the entire forum, the most talented and "handy" people are from Bangladesh.
Even a blind person will notice that every second member of this section is a newcomer, appearing where merit can be obtained quickly and easily. And then everyone moves on to the discussion of gambling. Just a template for action.
Therefore, I am sure that both Naim027 and LDL farms will grow faster as more competitions like this take place.
1270  Economy / Reputation / Re: 'John Abraham ≈ naim027' Coincidence or Connection? on: June 15, 2023, 03:06:55 PM
Be careful with requests to review post histories because although you mean well, and you helped me to rank up with my main account with a review, it has also been commented on in the thread that he may have many other alts or be part of a farm, which have several things in common: posting on the local Bangladesh forum, in the Wall Observer thread and having participated in the pizza contest.
So you're using this account to do what, exactly?  And I don't suppose you'll reveal your main account, but if I'm wrong I'm very curious.

One of the few who does not hide his alternative account.

1271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A portion of my clothing store's weekly profit is invested in Bitcoin on: June 15, 2023, 01:40:50 PM
Another account came to the forum for the pizza contest. OP, how does your country feel about bitcoins? All your colleagues are very concerned that Bitcoin activity is prohibited in Bangladesh. But if you are an active investor, where are you going to exchange fiat for bitcoin? I say this because I often visit your local section, reading concerns about the use of Bitcoin.
1272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop stressing kids with bitcoin on: June 15, 2023, 01:27:50 PM

I want to know if there are people who also share same opinion with me and please lets just discuss rather than argue

That's right, OP. The study of any subject will be interesting only when there is practice and motivation. What is the point of explaining to a child the benefits of Bitcoin and its value if he has not formed his own opinion about money?
And above all, children have a lot of subjects that they have to study and learn to prioritize what they like best. But by teaching Bitcoin, you are teaching a child the love of money, and sometimes it is more important to find your own calling and not just love and passion for money.
1273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Interested in investing in Bitcoin my childhood friend after losing business on: June 15, 2023, 01:11:20 PM
How many accounts do you have, OP? You appeared on the forum for the pizza baking contest; therefore, you can hardly be called a newbie, since your goal was defined as getting merit. But you, like many from your country, Bangladesh, forgot to mention that Bitcoin is banned in your country. Therefore, talking about investing in Bitcoin and, moreover, campaigning your friend would be another crime under the law. As I have repeatedly said on similar topics, it is strange to me why people advise people but cannot show them the right way out. Show your friend the way to the forum. If he is not a stupid person, then he will find the right answer for himself. It's always better to hear the opinion of the majority of people, have several options, and do your own analysis.

I really don't get your point of view for this thread; it just seems pointless. You know quite a lot of things already, which is enough to expose you to more new and educative contents. What do you want now? because you don't have any serious question you have asked on this thread. It's a good start that you have 28 merits and 28 activities; that shows a good start for yourself, but it doesn't call for any celebration; just stay cool and keep learning since you already know what to do and how to find yourself around the forum.

I will explain it to you. If you use a translator, you can understand the essence of the post, which says that the more often you flash before your eyes, the more often you will be remembered, and merit will be given faster.

Ngapain gan, kebanyakan yg komentar disana cuma formalitas buat tugas signature. Kecuali agan suka dengan gambling.

Eh kok gini ya.. maaf gan, tidak seharunya newbie kasih masukan ke seorang jr.member

What the OP doesn't realize is that his useless flickering can irritate users with his frequently asked questions, to which he already knows the answers.
And many will simply add it to ignore so that it does not interfere with reading.
As an example of someone who is already starting to get annoyed. Grin

I DON'T MAKE POSTS JUST TO INCREASE MY COUNTS OR JUST FOR THE PERSON IN QUESTION, I BELIEVE THE NEW GENERATION WOULD GET READ AND KNOW ALOT WHEN WE CEASE TO EXIST IN HERE.

For example, in the question about plagiarism, the OP is obviously hypocritical:

Is this forum strictly against plagiarism? then what if I quote a part of another website's sentence as a reference argument in the discussion? is it a violation?

look at the date

I think plagiarism is a bad act. Even though I am a beginner, all forums prohibit plagiarism. It takes decisive action so that it does not become a habit. I am a blogger, plagiarism is a cursed act
1276  Other / Meta / Re: Old posts aren't moderated on: June 15, 2023, 06:46:12 AM
When you go to report an old post ...

This topic has been raised several times already. For the first time, changes about sending old posts appeared on April 11th. I'm surprised the OP doesn't know. It has been discussed many times that no one in their right mind would read old posts, much less pay attention to useless posts. As someone recently said, reporting old posts is interesting to someone who is looking to improve their reporter stats, nothing more. But you need to think about what kind of burden you add to the moderators by parsing old posts.
At the moment, the topics are just as full of garbage, especially from those who use the toy of the AI tool. It would be more useful to clean the forum from such rubbish, as it has been proven that very often information from AI is incorrect.
1277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife on wedding. on: June 14, 2023, 10:35:29 AM
I have always believed that two spouses should have joint property after marriage. But the OP has already divided part of his property, giving half to his future wife. It's a bit wild for me. Are you going to share absolutely everything with your future family?
If I were the bride, I would certainly be delighted and set conditions, since the groom gave me half, and then in the future let him forget about them, knowing how wasteful men are and how quickly he can sell his bitcoin. Grin
As far as bitcoin knowledge goes, you OP as a groom will be honest if you first teach your girlfriend how to handle a wallet and everything so that your gift does not look like fiction, since the bride’s seed phrase should be separate and you don’t need to know her seed phrase.
1278  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful and don’t promote a scam campaign on: June 14, 2023, 10:01:50 AM

That means he don't know what he's talking about since he just ignore all of it and continue to wear the sig of well known scam casino. People like that doesn't really mean the words of advice they say to help people to avoid scam or anything that can avoid other to help those scammers, since the only one they care is to gain from the casino they promote and they just spam to count up and reached their weekly quotas

This is proof that everyone has their own price. If something cannot be bought with money, then it can be bought with a lot of money. It is precisely because a few accounts have neglected their reputation and this scam company has started paying them that bad reputation accounts find a place in this forum. Everyone has a choice of which way to go, the forum is free, exactly like people are free in their actions. I think a few of the accounts promoting this scam also have alternate accounts, ranting about what's good and what's bad.
There are many people who will scream about morality and morality until the question of price arises before them. In our world, everything is bought and sold, and it is simply useless to expect decency from everyone.
1279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best board to focus on as a newbie in the forum? on: June 14, 2023, 09:32:23 AM
I'm beginning to understand the forum better by the day, but I'm still under a learning process, cause we learn everyday and I'm big on receiving advise from older members
I find it easier to post on gambling, economics, politics and several others, but I want to know which board to focus more on as a newbie, what's your say on this? I'm open to learning from your opinions.

OP, your post history is already five pages long, and you're still asking which board you should post on.
It would be right to ask you the question, "For what purpose are you here?"
Just let's not be cunning and say that you are new to crypto. I see posts where you write that you have bitcoins—that is, you have experience with them.
So what's the problem, then? I'm starting to think merit is the problem. Do you want to improve your rankings quickly but find that the boards you love aren't getting enough merit?
I understand you correctly?
1280  Other / Meta / Re: Offensive words on the forum on: June 14, 2023, 07:56:21 AM
OP, you are making an accusation, and although no one personally offended you, there is one more thing that was written to you in the reviews. Are you a Fuso.hp lawyer? Although it seems to me that he is not aware that someone decided to protect him,
The whole post is designed for "at least one merit"?
Get used to the fact that you are on the Internet, where courtesy will not come from everyone and everyone sees the situation in their own way. You should not be a snowflake at the slightest criticism.
Take care of your account; it will be much more useful.
