1042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN: Give people time! on: August 13, 2023, 09:52:00 AM
The best example for people to become interested in Bitcoin will be your success. Although I stick to a more modest way of life, I don't like people who shout at every corner about how they made a profit. However, on our forum, I often see people who sincerely want to interest their loved ones or neighbors in investing in Bitcoin. Based on this, you will always be able to catch a person's attention with Bitcoin by showing what advantages they can get if they have witnessed your previous life and how it has changed.
But if you have nothing to be proud of, then leave time for people to grow up with their interests.

Your early posts tell us that you are not bad at navigating; why do you need another topic? In addition, your nickname is quite funny; it implies that its owner has a sense of humor as well as the ability to learn.
Try to learn how to search for all the questions you are interested in using the search. And only after you do not find answers should you create a new topic. Try to match your name. Smiley

Two useful topics, after which, after reading and understanding, you will definitely become literate in the field of bitcoins.

I think that the OP will not be offended if he receives a statement in the trust that he is someone's alternative account, as was the case with the PytagoraZ account.
I've always assumed that an alternative account that wants to masquerade as a newbie will be more modest, supposedly not inciting people to speculate about its true appearance and origin.
But yes, alternate accounts are allowed, and given one neutral or negative tag, beginners will create a new one with a clear conscience.
Not a problem, right, OP? Smiley

Nice question there👍. Post writing is one of the major problems facing some members. Although I'm still learning about It too but I think there should be serious sensitization on this  issue . From knowledge I've gained from the forum and older members post writing, a good post must contain relevant information about the topic being discussed by everyone and also should hacmve a very good format such that it is presentable. Also it should be according to the rules of the forum.

I just sent you a PM with clarification on the correct formatting of posts. Be careful, please.
1046  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Statc Stealer, targets crypto wallets and sensitive information on: August 11, 2023, 08:25:58 AM

So we should be really be careful of what we click and downloaded in the net right now specially if we are using the same pc or laptop for our crypto related activities including wallet softwares as we might be the next victim of this kind of malware.

It's bound to happen someday. People working with Windows are doomed to receive widespread surveillance from the manufacturer and regular attacks from hackers. Of course, hacker groups like Lazarus will not mess with small users, however, their partners do not disdain small prey. And most often, lovers of Windows systems fall for the bait. But in no way am I overestimating the merits of Linux systems, and the fact that they will be a panacea for viruses, nevertheless, the use of these systems and constant monitoring for security will become some guarantee.
1047  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As an undergraduate, is it advisable to invest my trustfund in Bitcoin? on: August 11, 2023, 06:57:55 AM
You have a big advantage, OP. You are young, and along with your education, you can start learning about Bitcoin. I see the date of your registration on the forum; do you read the forum regularly? Moreover, in your local section, many people can become good mentors for you, answering the questions you need. Challenge yourself to understand what Bitcoin is. Don't rush to invest your money. What you write is that you can get rich by investing in Bitcoin, just as you can lose everything in one moment, not knowing all the details of Bitcoin.
Therefore, visit the forum more often. If you have a real goal and persevere towards it, you can create a better future for yourself with the help of Bitcoin.
1048  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there a possibility to Fix Neutral Trust? on: August 11, 2023, 06:34:36 AM
OP, what are you doing? You're linking to an AI-created topic instead of just blocking it.
Cantsay suggested that you open a separate thread to resolve your issue. But you resurrect an old thread, and then you write, quoting the big post in the thread where your AI bug was discovered. And now another topic for the newbies.
Why so many? Close this topic too; it is enough to write once where you were caught, but you were silent until the need made you scream all over the forum.
1049  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: well thats aren't far from the truth on: August 11, 2023, 06:13:22 AM
OP, a couple more months, and you'll be considered registered two years ago. Do you still think that someone owes you merit? If the forum proceeds from your worldview that quantity should prevail over quality, then we will go back to the past. It was from this that the forum ran away when merits were invented.
But back to you: why do you need merit? Will you look more manly by selling your products?
Sorry for the irony, but your posts do not show that you are interested in something here.
I like a good expression: "What you radiate is what you receive."
1050  Economy / Reputation / Re: Another unfair trust/feedback from user Timelord2067 on: August 11, 2023, 05:47:51 AM
If the user hasn't been banned yet, the moderators or admin may not think it's necessary.

In addition, the creditor did not show that there was a violation in the non-payment of the debt. Why is it necessary to demand from people what they have agreed upon among themselves? They are free not to report the consequences of the deal at all, and as long as we don't see complaints, I don't think anyone should interfere.

Timelord2067, with all due respect, why do you have these problems inciting other users to hate yourself? I never understand this. We are far from each other; why show a person strength or power at a distance? What do you want from this? There are many other things on the forum.
1051  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: August 11, 2023, 05:30:13 AM

I think it's just an excuse if someone didn't notice if they get feedback from someone because there are many sections show feedback score. Moreover the feedback is shown in trusted feedback and it's already leaved since a month ago.

You are right; there may have been some inconvenience from the neutral tag, and fathafraink got worried.
I took a quick look at his posts and found another one that shows the use of AI.

6. Update drivers and software
- Keep your laptop drivers and software up to date, such as graphics drivers, BIOS updates, and any mining software you use. Updated drivers often include bug fixes and performance improvements. But, you also need to know that sometimes there are cases where certain drivers are used for mining, for example like me who uses an Acer Nitro 7 laptop that has a GTX 1660 Ti gpu, where I once had to use certain drivers to get hashrate. which is better than using the latest Driver version.

I want @fathafraink to see an example of what a disservice AI can do to the future of an account. We know that AI plucks some sentences from different texts to make the text seem unique. But it's not. Look at the reports from  @light_warrior in the plagiarism thread.  Posts written by AI, but how much plagiarism happens in these posts? Some accounts are already banned.
And for such a mistake in the use of AI, you can pay dearly.
1052  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: August 11, 2023, 04:32:19 AM

I recently ran into the bad thing that is Neutral Trust on my Topic or posts, and that's because I use ChatGPT. I fully realize and acknowledge that I use ChatGPT,
I don't know if using ChatGPT or something like that can affect my account, for example getting Neutral Trust.
I'm really sorry for my mistake, ignorance makes me so regretful, In the future I will be really careful to post or create Threads/Topics on this very special Forum.
I've found this forum an excellent place to share information, and I really feel that way kindship and brotherhood in this forum. From that I want to apply for Appeal. Please help me out of this Neutral Trust problem. Thanks for all your help Friends.

Using AI tools can be compared to plagiarism. Why did you decide that you could deceive the community by publishing posts that were not written by you? And as soon as you are caught, apologies immediately follow.
You should probably reach out to whoever gave you a neutral review, but keep in mind that when you look closely at posts written by AI, you can find several sentences that clearly prove that this is plagiarism.
When the entire forum was checked for plagiarized posts in 2019, there were many banned accounts that were caught just copying a few words. Therefore, I do not think that your apology should completely erase from history the fact that you once deceived the forum. You won't get a ban, but it might be worth giving you some time to remove the AI link tag.
1053  Economy / Economics / Re: It ain't meant to be easy on: August 10, 2023, 07:12:22 AM
OP, try moving this topic to the newbie section.
But if we talk about business, then every business requires proper development and plans. The right investment, the right contract, and the right service will always increase profits. It's hard to compare it to being on a forum. Many take the forum very seriously, but the easier it is for you to take everything without accepting strict rules, the easier it will be for you to be here. People appreciate sincerity. Try it; it always works. You can't force yourself to be something you're not; it's very transparent. But being on the forum with simple goals and interests is always appreciated very respectfully.
Therefore, I would say that the development of your business is very serious and requires great knowledge, but here knowledge can be obtained freely and gradually, without planning any time frame for fulfilling these goals.
1054  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your future in bitcointalk forum depends on your effort on: August 10, 2023, 06:49:29 AM
OP, your motivation alone deserves a high mark. But I agree with the post above that astronauts are not nurtured here.
Other than that, OP, can you clarify what goals you're growing toward? This is a forum, not an institution of higher education, that will ask you in the future about what you are studying and what you have achieved.
Keep it simple; read when you have time; ask when you don't understand; but don't put yourself in a "MUST"  box.
Everyone comes with different knowledge and a different level of understanding. Do not intimidate people with rules and strict requirements; this is a forum, this is the Internet, and everyone is free here.
1055  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is all what they say about bitcoin true? on: August 10, 2023, 06:35:31 AM
OP, you're doing the right thing by being very careful about exploring the forum. Everything needs to be weighed, and only after that can you draw the right conclusions for yourself. The fact that you see expressions about Bitcoin saying that it does not always bring happiness is quite reasonable. I have read your earlier posts. You correctly start from the fact that bitcoin is volatile, and if you invest today at the same price, with volatility and a falling market, the price will go down accordingly. Based on this, people write that we cannot always be profitable. In addition, bitcoin requires great care when handling wallets and transactions, and knowledge of Internet security is essential.

But there are a lot of posts on the forum, most often from newcomers who idolize Bitcoin, personifying it as the salvation of mankind and getting rid of poverty. I think that these people are very stupid if they hope that Bitcoin is in every way a savior for them.

I urge you to approach the study of Bitcoin and forum posts with a sober eye, without being fascinated by anything, and cultivate the independence to draw the right conclusions.
1056  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Came back from long haitus on: August 10, 2023, 05:59:07 AM
Sometimes users surprise us with their naive behavior. Why do we need to know about your every move, OP?
You are back here. Maybe the forum missed you, maybe not. You write that you are ready to offer your services by participating in subscription companies. But here, you are wrong. The forum does not need you, but you need it more, and this is from a material point of view, unfortunately. Subscription companies are a perk for users, not a service for the forum.
But more than that, now you have come under the magnifying glass of users who will look at your account with a big eye.
As they say, modesty has always adorned a person. You calmly come and quietly participate in discussions. In my opinion, these are the best steps.
1057  Economy / Reputation / Re: AI Spam Report Reference Thread on: August 10, 2023, 05:34:12 AM
The account decided to use an AI tool and tell everyone about the idea of creating a forum, which is quite "surprising" for those who have been here for years.
A man made a discovery of an AI tool for himself and decided to become a "useful" poster. Grin

You can't directly earn money from the forum itself, there are five ways people have used the (Bitcointalk.org) platform to potentially generate income :-
1.
Signature Campaigns: Some cryptocurrency projects and companies run signature campaigns on BitcoinTalk. Participants in these campaigns receive a small amount of cryptocurrency for including the project's logo and a link to the project in their forum signature. The payment is usually based on the participant's activity level on the forum.
2.
Bounties and Airdrops: Occasionally, projects may offer bounties or airdrops for completing specific tasks, such as promoting their project on social media, creating content, or translating documents. Participants receive cryptocurrency tokens as a reward for completing these tasks.
3.
Marketplace and Services: You can use the Marketplace section of the forum to offer goods or services in exchange for cryptocurrency payments. This can include anything from graphic design and writing services to selling physical products.
4.
Learning and Networking: While not a direct source of income, active participation on BitcoinTalk can help you learn more about the cryptocurrency space, stay updated on the latest developments, and network with like-minded individuals. This knowledge and network could potentially lead to opportunities in the future.
5.
ICO Investments (Caution): Some users on the forum discuss Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) and investment opportunities. However, investing in ICOs or other projects based solely on information from the forum can be risky. It's important to conduct thorough research and exercise caution when considering any investment.

Follow the steps below to start Bitcoin mining:

1. Understand Bitcoin Mining: Bitcoin mining is the process of validating transactions and adding them to the Bitcoin blockchain. Miners solve complex mathematical problems using specialized hardware to compete for the chance to add a new block to the blockchain. In return for their efforts, miners are rewarded with newly minted Bitcoins and transaction fees.

2. Educate Yourself: Before you begin, it's crucial to educate yourself about Bitcoin mining, the technology involved, and the potential costs and risks. Resources like online articles, forums, and video tutorials can help you understand the basics.

3. Hardware Selection: Bitcoin mining requires specialized hardware called ASICs (Application-Specific Integrated Circuits) that are designed specifically for mining purposes. ASICs are much more efficient and powerful than standard CPUs or GPUs. Research and select ASIC models based on their hashing power, efficiency, and price.

4. Choose a Mining Pool: Mining individually might not be feasible due to the high competition and difficulty level. Most miners join mining pools, which are groups of miners who combine their computational power to increase their chances of solving a block. Pools distribute the rewards among participants based on their contribution.

5. Set Up a Wallet: You'll need a Bitcoin wallet to receive your mining rewards. Choose a secure wallet that suits your needs. There are different types of wallets, including software wallets, hardware wallets, and online wallets.

6. Install Mining Software: Once you have your hardware and wallet ready, you'll need to install mining software that's compatible with your hardware and the chosen mining pool. Examples of popular mining software include CGMiner, BFGMiner, and EasyMiner.

7. Configure and Start Mining: Configure the mining software with the details of your mining pool account. You'll need to input the pool's server address, your wallet address, and other relevant information. After configuration, start the mining software, and it will begin the mining process.

8. Monitor and Optimize: Keep an eye on your mining operation's performance, temperature, and other metrics. You may need to adjust settings to optimize your hardware's efficiency. Also, stay informed about any updates or changes in the mining software or the pool.

9. Understand Costs and Rewards: Mining involves costs, including electricity, cooling, and maintenance. You should calculate whether your mining operation is profitable based on the current Bitcoin price, mining difficulty, and your hardware's efficiency. Keep in mind that the cryptocurrency market is volatile.

10. Stay Updated: The world of Bitcoin mining is dynamic, with changes in technology, regulations, and market conditions. Stay informed about updates in the industry to make informed decisions.

Ethereum mining was a popular choice for many individuals due to its potential profitability and relatively accessible mining process. However, please note that the cryptocurrency landscape can change rapidly, and factors like hardware availability, electricity costs, and market conditions can greatly influence which cryptocurrency is best to mine at any given time.

Before starting any mining operation, it's crucial to do thorough research, consider the technical requirements, potential profitability, and associated risks.

1058  Other / Meta / Re: Is resetting a BTT account password bad? on: August 09, 2023, 07:22:40 AM
I think this forum doesn't need people who don't take things serious especially when it comes of password saving and phrase backup because I can still believe that one day he would come crying for losing his entire asset.

Sorry you mean the same forum that doesn't even verify your information when you register, the forum is one of the platforms that I have registered and noticed they don't give a fuck about anything you do. The forum is opened for everyone and you don't have to be some gurus or over serious person before you think you can register on the forum. The forum might even love the inexperienced users more so it can build them to becoming better cryptopreneurs. Just for context, my knowledge on Bitcoin isn't the same as of when I joined the forum, I have understood something's better that I won't have understood if I felt the forum only needed serious user and I didn't register.

As for the change of password discussion, there's nothing wrong in that and no body will hold you accountable unless your activities shows signs of been suspicious like the account is hacked or has changed hands due to it been sold for signature earnings purposes. Changing of password frequently Is a good security measures that we should practice because our system can be compromised of malware that steals your private information without us knowing, just make sure you can prove ownership of the account when your ownership of the account is been doubted.

The suggestion to be serious comes from good advice, so that one day such a situation does not happen.
Imagine that the OP visits a forum regularly, for which he forgot the password for the hundredth time, but he is successful on the forum, and one day he increased his rank. But suddenly something went wrong, and he could not log into his account. And he has no password or recovery mail.

I am in strange trouble at the moment. I am logged in my browser but i have forgotten the password.
I will remain login as long as i don't logout. Is there any way i can recover my password ?

I remembered this story, and it seems to me that the OP may also face this situation, only much earlier.
That is why the suggestion to be more careful, namely more serious, looks like the right advice; it is in the interests of the OP.
By and large, everyone else does not care about his future, and this applies not only to life on the forum but in general to all of life. He alone is the master of his future.
1059  Other / Meta / Re: Igebotz Nigerian Local Board Merit Source Application on: August 09, 2023, 06:00:17 AM
I also support your application. Looking at your local forum, I see that many newcomers come, and I really want to call them very diligent guys who respect the rules of the forum. They have the right to rise in the ranks and enjoy the privileges of the forum like no other. And based on that, it would be useful to increase the number of sources of merit in this locale, and your candidacy, OP, is very worthy of it. I have always said that I have great respect for your people, and I think that if the admin allowed the opening of a separate local section, then maybe he will be attentive to our requests and allow you, OP, to become a source of merit.
My regards.
1060  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Imagine life if there was know bitcointalk like this forum on: August 08, 2023, 02:35:48 PM

Learning is a continues process which I'm always ready to learn so please I'm not here because of money, I'm here to learn.

You're being a bit disingenuous, OP. Your job offer as a bounty manager says very clearly that you are primarily interested in making money.
But in no way am I blaming you. It is true that, thanks to the forum, many users can support their lives by earning, which the forum offers as a privilege. And this is very important for those countries in which there is a high level of unemployment and, as the latest news says, a difficult international situation.
However, everything can be done together. By learning and reading on the forum, you can also participate in subscription companies. There is nothing reprehensible in this; something else is important so that your interest in material terms, after all, is not so frank but more than outweighs the interest in knowing the field of crypto.
