1501  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone try this before? on: May 14, 2020, 03:18:35 PM
If you are new in crypto, it's unlikely that you can gain profit through such prediction game. If have to have a huge knowledge on various things to gain from such trading. I would suggest you to learn more about bitcoin and invest on bitcoin simply.
1502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So it looks like Cobra is planning on passing on the Bitcoin.org domain on: May 14, 2020, 03:15:47 PM
Don't know much about Roger Ver but there is no doubt, if he owns bitcoin.org domain, the he will start cheating with innocent people badly. Cobra should sell Bitcoin.org to other, although my opinion is valuess but Roger Ver doesn't deserve bitcoin.org  Sad
That's unlikely to happen & I doubt Cobra would accept the most sweetest deal for selling it to Roger. Cobra would never be a guy to support BCH. Nevertheless, as Cobra expressed his opinion & willingness on this matter, it's unlikely that he will sell it even. He will look for someone who can care for the domain and hand over to them for nothing.
1503  Other / Archival / Re: Let's talk Texas Holdem poker hands and how to play like a PRO? on: May 13, 2020, 03:58:02 PM
I have to admit here that I have folded such hands as KK or AA
That's something I wouldn't fold; may be because I'm yet to be the expert poker guy. Earlier, I had lost 2k chips on SwC with AA on hands and there was three diamonds as well in the flop (Four including my one). Guess what, I didn't get any diamond in the turn & river. I was busted  Cry I would have folded like you did.
1504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning Network, is it a good solution? on: May 13, 2020, 03:41:22 PM
FYI:
Note many of the so called Shitcoins provide Fixed Onchain Transaction Fees that are cheaper than LN ,
and simple enough anyone can use them. Those so called Shitcoins are the last chance for Satoshi' Dream to occur.

Is this true? I guess such shitcoins fee isn't low if you compare the digit? It may be low in comparison with the price since price of the said shitcoins are too low. Moreover, such coins don't have enough tx comparing with bitcoin.

Cons:
- Transparency and security is far more lower. Since LN transaction works to allow numerous transaction outside of the main blockchain.
What's the security flaws you are talking about, some lights? I have little idea about the transparency though.
1505  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN SLOTS] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ | Up to 0.0375 BTC/w on: May 12, 2020, 04:39:44 PM
Would you consider my previous application as valid; I was not in the previous shortlist though? Either way, I know the chance of me being accepted in Chipmixer is same as the chance of Satoshi Nakamoto get revealed  Grin
1506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Lightning Network, is it a good solution? on: May 11, 2020, 04:21:33 PM
Many people seem to be fan of LN while any others are directly opposing this. I'm not an old guy here nor I'm a techy guy in bitcoin. I only know the basic which I need. However, so far, LN seems to be a good addition. But why some people say it's not good?
What are the advantage vs disadvantage of LN? Can you please put your opinion? I would love to see the both side.
1507  Economy / Economics / Re: Firm Claims Inverse Correlation Between USDT and Bitcoin Price on: May 11, 2020, 03:51:02 PM
Theoretically, it must be the oppose of what is described above. If there are more USDT supply in exchange, BTC price must go up while it's going down. Well, it's possible that traders want to be stable and that's the reason of having an inverse relationship.
When stablecoin mint a lot of coins, it refers people have more demand on USDT because they want to sell their BTC and hold on stablecoin. On the other hand, when there's low supply of USDT, it refers people have more demand of purchasing BTC.
Still, I'm confused about the reason behind the inverse correlation. I guess it would be better to have some more clarification.
1508  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Roobet.com Signature Campaign | The Honest Online Casino | Full Members+ on: May 08, 2020, 04:17:20 PM
I was about to check my wallet  Cheesy Anyway, thanks for the update. Would be better if you get some good contracts with Roobet. CMI next update (if any) if possible. I would gladly be part of the campaign.
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best altcoin wallet on: May 05, 2020, 03:40:33 PM

Desktop altcoin wallets - Desktop wallets are one of the best wallet out there. but it is not that easy to access this kind of wallet because you have to the entirety of the coin’s blockchain on your computer before you can transact using a desktop wallet.
It's not correct all the times, with Light Wallet, you can easily use every features of the coin without downloading the chain history.

Quote
1.What alt coins are supported by these wallets?
- All altcoin wallets are multicoin wallets. The only difference is the number of coins each wallet supports.
It's misleading. Respective altcoin wallets will inly support the respective coins. For example, a wallet built for Litecoin will only support Litecoin. Multicoin wallets are different and should be categorized in different.
1510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LIGHTNING NETWORK - what is happening, dead, stagnant? on: May 05, 2020, 02:59:35 PM

Miners get fees for Txs that occur on the main blockchain. If those transactions occur on L2 networks, they no longer get those fees.

Feel free to ask any follow up questions.
Although it's a very long debate and I doubt we will get a conclusion, I guess LN will be a good thing for the bitcoin future acceptance over the world. However, there's an ongoing discussion on your claim and you can check and join here- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5158920.msg54031594#msg54031594

So it really is up to the sender which one they cherish more: Having a faster transaction or saving on the those fees. Undecided
Sometimes, it depends on the receiver too, for a lower fee, it won't be confirmed within hours which may not be accepted by the receivers.
1511  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mentioning users in Bitcointalk on: May 04, 2020, 03:11:52 PM
SMF doesn't have built in mention system, howevee, there's some script or bot which you can use to mention other users in the forum. I didn't use this one though after Piggy's notification bot was inactive.

1512  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Escorw service outside the forum on: May 04, 2020, 03:03:11 PM
I don't know if they are legit but recently a scam method has been broke out with such a escrow system where you will certainly be ripped off. Scammers own an website and ask other party to deposit their BTC or show a balance of their BTC in the website which is nothing but a figure. Better you stay sticky with forum escrow service.
1513  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Way to receive email notification of receiving BTC on: May 04, 2020, 02:44:45 PM
Last time I've used blockchain.com for the job. I added an address as watch only and have set to send me e-mail notifications at receiving Bitcoin.
That's a good way to do it, I don't have a blockchain wallet though. However, it would be better if it can be done through an script by myself. I was looking for such a way. I guess we have such option to do that.
1514  Other / Beginners & Help / Way to receive email notification of receiving BTC on: May 04, 2020, 02:34:37 PM
I was looking for way to receive email notification of teceiving BTC on certain address. Is there a way to compile it? I have tried googling about it but no lucl so far but I guess there would be a way to get such notification through email.
1515  Economy / Economics / Re: Net worths if Bitcoin reaches $100,000 on: May 03, 2020, 03:29:18 PM
The amount of Satoshi Nakamoto is confirmed? Afaik, it's a speculation. Well, he may own such a decent amount and if bitcoin keeps growing above $100k, someday we will find him in the top richest man.
Wondering how Roger is still holding such a big amount of BTC.
I am not a big whale into this ground nor I will be, however, if BTC reaches such big price, I would afford to purchase my dream car someday.
1516  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Member to Hero on: May 03, 2020, 03:23:29 PM
Congrats, you did it too faster. I have been waiting for the required activity although I have reached the required merit already. Your posts and activity ratio are very interesting, you really did it too faster.
1517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2.9 BTC I found but think it's untouchable.please give advice. on: May 03, 2020, 03:17:56 PM
You can try out checking the web wallet section of the forum by filtering them into old to new. I have checked couole of threads from 2012 but all of them was blockchain.info (blockchain.com now) and no other web wallet was mentioned over there. You can try checking from here- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=222.1760 If you are lucky enough, you can get some thread on your wallet.
1518  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ SwC Poker ♣️ BITCOIN POKER ♣️ Hold'em✅ PLO✅ Mixed✅ MTT✅ ♣️ BBJ🌟 ♣️ BIG BTC🏆 on: May 03, 2020, 03:07:43 PM
No active deposit bonus on SwC? I would love to deposit a bigger amount than usual due to the fluctuation of fee which is a little lower now. I have really been addictive to this now  Huh Spending most of my times on SwC.
1519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Gambling Life During Quarantine on: May 02, 2020, 03:59:48 PM
Let me share that I have been an addictive guy to poker. Since I was having more free times these days, I tried to play poker on swcpoker and have lost a few mBTC so far. Now I have almost left all the others gambling than the poker one. It's way more addictive man, specially for such a lockdown when you have a lot of free times.
1520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much crypto do you need ? on: May 02, 2020, 03:46:05 PM
If everyone had a good portfolio management skill, I doubt we had a lot of people would be starving. Jk  Cheesy Not everyone in the crypto space had a goal of owning certain BTC, nor they plan to hold for a certain period. Most of the small investors invest a certain amount and sell when rhey got a good profit. In my case, I have been holding btc for a long time now and I have a plan to reach 10 of it someday. But that's not possible for everyone. I have been investing in BTC from my RL income. Saving the BTC I'm getting from my freelancing job as well. But not everyone will evaluate BTC the way I'm doing. I guess it's impossible to have answered the question in general.
