581  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60k price recovery achieved on: October 15, 2021, 07:18:23 PM
As another poster mentioned, surpassing $70,000 is highly likely to happen before the end of the year.
What if we compare this bull with 2017 or even 2013? If that's what going to happen which is more likely as the trend says, I guess we could see an easy $100k while if history is to repeat itself as of 2013, someone said $288k seems not much unrealistic.
582  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 15, 2021, 06:23:21 PM
If we compare October 2021 with October 2017, in December 2021, where are we heading to?

584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OPEN {T-20 World Cup Prediction Pool} 0.00035 BTC Entry Fee on: October 11, 2021, 07:10:03 PM
I will soon send the fee. Having a sponsor would be cool enough to increase the pot but sadly, I guess you won't have one as there's no much people joining the pool. It would be better if someone can talk with stake or some other casino which offer cricket bets. Maybe we can get someone.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Lightning IDO platform on: October 11, 2021, 05:47:19 PM
Recently through the help of coinmarketcap, I came to know about Lightning IDO platform which launches tokensale on their IDO platform. To get access, you must have hold few thousands Lightning Coin. For 5000 of Lightning coins, you will have the advantage to invest $250 worth of coins and thus the max limit increases.
Don't you think it sounds like just another pyramid scheme type business? I was wondering if there are a lot of other such platform. Well, I know how tokensale of Binance launch work though.
586  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coinbase support experience on: October 11, 2021, 05:09:30 PM
Coinbase is more popular for delaying the support service but I guess you shouldn’t be much worried as at the end, you will get everything fixed. I have seen people complaining about the delay of support; they are always late but in most cases, you will get the solution. Don't be hurry and create same request twice. That will delay the process more.
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Participants Only] [IPL 2021] Prediction pool and discussion on: October 11, 2021, 04:59:10 PM
Once again, RCB fans are going to be hurt. I had picked RCB in the pool and had a bet placed of 1 mBTC which seems wasted already. KKR is having an easy win. Vishnu will now lead the pool I guess if KKR wins which is almost confirmed unless team Virat can fix something LOL.

Let us have an update. Once, the thread is created, I will send the entry fee to the pool address.
Thanks JSRAW for organizing the pool.
588  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your thoughts about Bitcoin in years to come on: October 11, 2021, 04:42:42 PM
I know some day every nations of the world will dump the paper money and go for something better like the Blockchain world in running business  and everything.
It's very possible that in the near future, no fiat money will exist in our hand. Everyone will use cryptocurrency but what's that exactly? I mean which one will be used? Well, every nation won't dump fiat money. Govt will introduce centralized govt currency which will have no much advantage for people supporting bitcoin. The model will more likely be USDT or other stablecoin peg to fiat money.
589  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Decentralized Exchanges Vs Centralized Exchanges on: October 11, 2021, 04:35:10 PM
Apart from the benefit of KYC, I guess users will have more stable market as most CEXs are manipulating the market movement. Last night, there was a big drop of BTC to $50k for a while but it was to liquidate the future traders position. If DEXs are mostly used, there will be no party to have our fund on custodial and no one will be able to manipulate the market by our funds. Well, still, there will be whale but without the help of CEX, they will not be able to influence the market much.
590  Other / Meta / Re: Maximum posts allowed per day on: October 10, 2021, 06:39:03 PM
So 40k posts maybe 41k
My godness, such a huge number of posts you have in the forum? Will it be wrong if I assume you are holding the title of most total post?
I barely create 10+ posts a day; can't even remember if I did ever. I used to spend quite a long time here learning bitcoin and some other technical issue which I didn’t have any idea about. But now, it gets hard to spend such huge time.
591  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Future of crypto exchanges on: October 10, 2021, 05:46:10 PM
FTX is being so generous and will probably be the leading one in the near future. Apart from that Kucoin has some big withdrawal limit without going through KYC. Therefore, they are likely to have a benefit.
I guess there will be time in the coming years where DEX will be the leading exchanges. It needs time to build up. Most people in crypto are very new in this field and they may even have no idea how DEX works. They get attracted or derived to CEX like Coinbase, Binance mostly.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Participants Only] [IPL 2021] Prediction pool and discussion on: October 10, 2021, 05:35:28 PM
CSK is going to final! Ruturaj Gaikwad playing responsibly and probably end up chasing the target. It's 24 required from 12 balls. Ravada & Curran left to bowl.

Sign me up if the fees are around $20. 0.0005 BTC or higher at current rates is closer to $30 which needs to be lowered in order to attract more participants.
I have no problem but lowering the fees would be reasonable I guess as not many would be interested to join if the fee is high.

Edit
Ruturaj gone  Lips sealed I didn’t have even thought Avesh Khan will come into action as he was quite expensive tonight without a wicket and he got the best one now.
593  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A few cryptocurrency abbreviation on: October 10, 2021, 05:22:36 PM
At first look at the title, I thought how come COOLCRYPTOVATOR has created the same thread which has already been created few times but after looking at the resources in the thread, I felt like, "Don't judge a book by its cover" LOL.
Your title is quite old/repetitive but the resources it has are quite different and I must say it was a great read for me though I was pretty known with most of the terms.
594  Other / Meta / Re: Maximum posts allowed per day on: October 10, 2021, 03:45:27 PM
There's no limit and there must not be any limit. If you can make 100 posts a day, there's nothing wrong with that. There are people posting 50/60 or more posts weekly but they are not spam while there are people who posts 10/20 or even less a week but all of them are garbage/spam.
Why would it be limited?
595  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: LONG TERM INVESTMENT REMAINS THE BEST on: October 09, 2021, 09:01:41 PM
Dollar Cost averaging has always been the best for long term investing in bitcoin. If you are looking for holding long, make sure you have set up a period and follow that all time. For Bitcoin, it has barely been loss in case of a long term holding.
By the way, I guess you better know how much risky investing in altcoin; more riskier when it comes to long time investment.
596  Economy / Reputation / Re: Little Mouse and RapTarX - What is this connection? on: October 09, 2021, 04:42:47 PM
Interesting indeed. It just happened but I am going to enjoy it :-D
Maybe RapTarX accepts Little Mouse's apology and removes the feedback now, but that will make it looks like they might be alts again.
I received few PMs from Little Mouse explaining why he didn’t respond to my PM all these days, apology & to remove the feedback. This could have been better solved if he had responded me earlier. I was desperately looking for his response which I never received. Hence the feedback. Since I got PM & apology from him, I considered removing the negative tag and changed it into a neutral.
597  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DCA: calculating orders size to cover current loss? on: October 08, 2021, 07:00:00 PM
You want to recover your loss?
In general, DCA works if the holding period is long. No one can guarantee you a profit but you can check it out yourself here- https://dcabtc.com/
I can't exactly got what did you mean though. There's a thread I made long ago on DCA with some holding period. This can be an example; doesn’t necessarily will have the same output now as well.

598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Participants Only] [IPL 2021] Prediction pool and discussion on: October 08, 2021, 04:15:28 PM
Ishan Kishan was dismissed for 64 off 32 balls in a devastating inning. Great batting
That's 84. Great effort by him and the team as well. It could have been more than 260 if some of the middle overs wouldn’t be such low scoring. From 9th over to 13th over, MI scored only 33 out of 30 ball I guess. It was an easy 260+ for them and they could have a chance to qualify for the play off. Now, they need SRH to restrict at 64 runs. Could they or were they able to fix the match LOL.

Yeah, I know. I am wondering how many will be interested to pay for an entry fees.
I'm interested to join the pool if there's enough participants. Count me IN.
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Participants Only] [IPL 2021] Prediction pool and discussion on: October 07, 2021, 06:39:00 PM
Benchoo MI is out, not officially tho but they are out.
Hell yeah, there’s no way MI can qualify. I have run a calculation to check it out but they don’t have a way to qualify. Even checked with some impossible RR for them LOL. I was planning to take the challenge above but I couldn’t LOL.

IPL final without MI! What a surprise! Who would have thought? I thought they would be winning 3rd consecutive trophy but they couldn’t qualify PLAYOFF.
600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can't decrypt the wallet on: October 07, 2021, 05:12:21 PM
So try to look for your wallet.dat file and open it with a notepad.
Try this one if you are certain that you didn’t put a password though I believe you have put password to make sure no one can access which you may have forgotten of. Nevertheless, before opening with it notepad, make sure you have copied the Bitcoin file and stored it somewhere safely in another device.
By any chance, is it possible that anyone else had access to your Laptop? Besides, if you have the address you filled BTC with, you can check it through explorer & be sure that your wallet haven’t been compromised already. Good luck.
