641  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: AirGapped Hardware Wallets on: September 24, 2021, 05:12:01 PM
According to the website, coldcard is only for bitcoin. Don't it require any upgrade? For instance; supporting LN may require an upgrade? I'm not sure though.
In case of Safepal, upgrade is optional. You can still go with current one all the time but that wouldn’t give you the benefit of using the latest coin edition in wallet. Other than that, that's okay to use as airgapped wallet. I haven’t use it yet but seen one review in youtube and seems fine as it doesn’t require you to be connected with any other device directly.

Some tipbot would be cool though, like on Reddit. Smiley
That would cool IMO. Twitter is having that feature as well. If I'm correct, tipping with bitcoin in Twitter is now available in iOS version and will be followed by Andriod soon as well.
An on forum tipping bot would also be cool; having an wallet for all but that's risky as well I guess, subjected to be hacked.

643  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ranks of bitcoin hodlers. on: September 24, 2021, 03:57:03 PM
I always have heard only about "whale"; never even heard about the term "shark" I guess, I can't remember actually. Well, according to this, though I was not planning to share, I'm in "CRAB" though the amount is far less than "Octopus". I had purchased quite a few bitcoin along with savings from my earning through my freelancing services. It was quite good amount but I sold it earlier. Now I hold a little amount but from the current sideways price, I'm planning to again DCA so that I don’t have to miss the potential pump.

Will RCB be able to win today? I placed a bet for them but the score so far isn't satisfying so far. In the 2nd leg, it turns out a nightmare for me in the pool. I'm barely winning match now. Is it 1 point in 5/6 matches, or 2? I need to check out LOL.
645  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, please be aware that Bitcoin.org is compromised! on: September 23, 2021, 03:18:39 PM

Actually the website was not hacked. An DNS flaw was exploited and the traffic goes to a malicious website with odd SSL certificate.
And, strangely, for me it seems to be working now. But CloudFlare did look into the problem though.
Great that it sorted out this way. Otherwise, a big scam would be a matter of time only. We could probably see the biggest scam as the domain is the major one.
I don’t know what's wrong but I can't yet access the domain; checked right now again and it’s still same for me. Anyway, thank you for the links.
646  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, please be aware that Bitcoin.org is compromised! on: September 23, 2021, 03:03:56 PM
Any update on this? I can't still access the domain. It's quite unusual; sad to see the main bitcoin domain has been hacked though the amount hacker stole luckily wasn’t that big. Probably because it was figured faster.
If any update is posted anywhere, please share me the link if anyone have.
647  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking for beginner/new crypto traders to interview on: September 23, 2021, 02:59:47 PM
How do I know this is not a scam? You would rather go through some survey platform to obtain data you are looking for. I just have visited the url and it seems a video conference is going to be organized. I don’t think you are going to get a lot of responses. I would give it a try if it was a survey only through some kinda form.
648  Economy / Gambling / Re: Yaybet.com - Slots Live Casino & more! |⚡️ Instant BTC/ETH/LTC Cashouts on: September 23, 2021, 01:41:25 PM

Actually, the same thing on the withdrawal process. If I read it right, user will be required KYC if they withdraw in any amount on the site.
Is it mandatory to verify KYC?m for fund withdrawal or it's just a limit for non KYC members? If so, I guess very few people would join and gamble there; at least I wouldn't gamble there. These days I can see so many site popping up with mandatory KYC.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Karnataka ( A state in India ) they introduced bill in assembly to ban o.gamblin on: September 22, 2021, 02:38:20 PM
Not surprised as this is common here in India. I guess last year I have seen Delhi to ban online gambling (correct me if I'm wrong, I can't remember ATM). I don’t know why the hell they ban this. People with enough age must have the right to do whatever they wish to do with their money.
Well, they can't prevent online gambling for sure. There are a lot of casino which allow playing with VPN. Bad move from them IMO. It would be good for them if they could simply bring gambling under regulations which could potentially bring them revenue.
650  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] 500play.com Signature Campaign | Full Member+ ~ Up to $70/Week on: September 22, 2021, 01:40:50 PM
From the available crypto withdrawn options, I learned that for bitcoin and ethereum withdrawals, we need to pay network fees for transactions and for all other coins (LTC, BCH, XRP, XLM and EOS), 500play.com covers tx fees.
I did with BTC as we were supposed to get paid with BTC & that's what I prefer as well.
Regarding the fee, this what we supposed to get if anyone haven’t noticed yet.
If you are charged a withdraw fee it will be added to your balance the following week (exact amount).
651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Participants Only] [IPL 2021] Prediction pool and discussion on: September 21, 2021, 06:20:26 PM
you enter in 20th over to find only 4 runs, after scoring 180 runs you can't even get last 4 runs in that over
KXIP needed 8 run from 12 and 4 from last 6 balls. I don’t know why the hell KXIP do this all the time at the last hour. It was supposed to be an easy win but they ended up being a shit. Is it fix or the beauty? I don’t know. I don’t have a word to say here.
Lost the point again  Undecided
652  Economy / Gambling / Re: NEW Flush.com Crypto Casino - ♠️ $BTC ♦️ $ETH ♣️ $DOGE ♥️ $LTC on: September 21, 2021, 05:21:42 PM
I just tried visiting their website but the web page "This site can’t be reached". the problem might be on my side. can anyone confirm if the website is down?
It's same here as well. I was trying to check out the site but got the same error. I guess it's probably problem from their side as they are on prelaunch.
Have anyone checked the form? I don’t think it’s a good way to conduct the competition. They could have it run on their own website.
653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Participants Only] [IPL 2021] Prediction pool and discussion on: September 21, 2021, 05:10:39 PM
Though RR was pretty strong, I picked KXIP. They are playing good so far. KXIP needs more 89 run from 63 balls which seems easy unless they lose wickets faster. KL Rahul and Agarwal is having good partnership.
I placed no bets today. Lost the last two matches and looking for a break  Cheesy
654  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Question about the seed words and their safety on: September 20, 2021, 05:43:28 PM
Why do you need to store the seed secured? Answer this question and I guess you will find all the answer. Put them into one place only instead of 2. To keep it safe & secured, you must find a fire resistant place. Be sure that it’s secured enough. By the way, you can buy a suitcase which is fire resistance. I guess I have seen someone posting a few days ago here about this issue.
655  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀📈 Satcrash.io - No KYC - No blocked countries - Low min deposit🚀📈 on: September 20, 2021, 05:33:34 PM
How long does it take for a deposit to reflect on my account, I deposited for over two hours now wanted to try out your site
According to their deposit page, it says BTC deposit should be reflected in the balance once you send the BTC; it doesn’t even require 1 confirmation for deposit while for withdrawal, your deposit must have 1 confirmation.
Why would it be such less while they said instant.

It is likely that the site does not allow for mobile phones usage since it works fine on PC but not on mobile device.
It works fine on mobile; I'm on mobile now & checked it. It works for me.
656  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Found Hal Finney? on: September 20, 2021, 05:01:56 PM
I read somewhere that Hal mined the 78th block and that he only mined for a little while before turning it off forever. Seems like this wallet is him.
https://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin/wallet/59649
Are you correct on this? Hal said he mined block 70-something. That doesn’t guarantee he mined 78th block unless he shared it somewhere; you didn’t share a proof either.
This is the address of Hal Finey where satoshi sent 10 bitcoin- 1Q2TWHE3GMdB6BZKafqwxXtWAWgFt5Jvm3

From this address, I found this address- 142SuQBUHiBAmcQgNL9Dbhj1aEYuCRmtSv which received 0.69 BTC & some more before. This address is connected to the 10 BTC satoshi sent to Hal Finey. Out of the 10 BTC, as said above, 0.69 BTC was sent to this address & they are still there with a total balance of 6.89 BTC.

Did you mean Adam B is satoshi? Confused but I don't think so.
657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 19, 2021, 04:52:15 PM
1.77 odd for Real Madrid on sportsbet.io; good deal I guess. Real Madrid is in quite good shape in the last few matches under Ancelotti. I guess they will have an easy win tonight unless Valencia somehow become a nightmare for them.
I'm going for Real Madrid to win and both team to score. I'm so confident about the win but confused whether Valencia will have goal or not though they had scored goal in all the last 5 matches.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Participants Only] [IPL 2021] Prediction pool and discussion on: September 19, 2021, 03:49:26 PM
Great comeback by CSK!
Ruturaj was excellent; so does Bravo at the end in his style. I didn’t expect CSK to set a target of above 130. They were in trouble indeed. I had a bet for MI at the beginning and placed more amount with low odds. But this seems risky now for me. Target for MI is 157 & that's not going to be easy.

Ruturaj is now the highest individual scorer against MI for CSK.
659  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Thread creation way to support the forum. on: September 18, 2021, 05:31:23 PM
each time you create a constructive discussion thread
The last thing we need is more low topic threads being spammed in the name of "helping the forum".
I believe you missed this part of the post, and also the moderators are there to delete low-quality thread.
I believe you missed the way of ads displayed here. They are not from any advertising network. Rather, they are from forum ad auction. IIRCc altcointalk has a feature of reserving the 2nd post of a thread for displaying google ads. For YOUR info, it's not altcoin, nor it’s using any google ads or any other sort of ads network. This make no sense at all.
We everyone is here for learning something, sharing our views on cryptocurrency. If you don't have to share anything, why would you even bother to create a thread? That's spamming for sure.
Once again, please don't miss the point that YOU are in bitcointalk & not in any other shitcoin forum.

Do you have any other recommendations to use instead of Exodus for Exchanges?

Depends on the amount actually. If your volume is high, you are unlikely to get an exchange which will allow you to trade/exchange without KYC. However, there are few swap sites which allow without KYC but their volume for non KYC member is small as well.
You can try to trade here in the forum. Exchange your BTC for any other coin and trade them in exchange like Binance & Kucoin which have a big limit without KYC.
