1501  Economy / Securities / Re: WARNING: Crypto::stocks currently not allowing withdrawals on: June 02, 2014, 05:10:51 PM
I almost listed something on Cryptostocks, but think I will wait and reassess before I do. What we need as a community is to not accept these low standards of service. I really like the idea of what Cryptostocks provides and there definitely is a gap in the market for it, but their execution is terrible. Does anyone know of similar security exchanges? Havelock Investments seems decent, but there are very few securities listed on their exchange.

Havelock's volume is a few times that of cryptostocks. While the variety of shares is important, its better to list on an exchange with good volume than an exchange with no volume and tons of listings (such as cryptostocks)
1502  Economy / Securities / Re: [Crypto Currency Management IPO] Official Thread on: June 02, 2014, 05:08:05 PM
Ok you seem to not understand how this is being structured. We are only selling 1000 public shares at 0.05 BTC per share. The rest are being privately held by us. This means that we are only paying out a min 12% per share to our public shareholders. Per public share (which only 1000 are being sold) each publicly held share can expect a min of a 12% return equivalent to 0.006 BTC for the year (with the occasional Special Dividend)! Thats definitely reasonable and not outrageous. But don't take my word for it just follow along and watch us do it. We've put up all the information on the blockchain for you to see. Also check us out on twitter @CryptoCM.

I do understand. Perfectly clear. You are holding 99,000 shares, and you sold 1,000 shares. "Only" 1000 shares at .05BTC is still 50BTC. How is this worth even 50 BTC?

You still didn't answer my question asking how much money you have personally invested in this.

This is so grossly overpriced is unbelievably. Say we follow your math you need to make .12 * 50 = 6 BTC a year profit in order to maintain that promise. Your mining gear is worth around 3 BTC, do you think its magically going to turn into 6 BTC? Or, your just going to pay dividends with funds you receive from other investors (if you are "legit") which would make this a ponzi scheme.

Not only that, but you are reserving the right to tank the price anytime you want by holding an insane 99% of the venture.

If you want to value this at 50 BTC (which is still way overpriced) the 1% of 50 BTC = .5 BTC --> .5/1000 = .0005 BTC per share (for the 1,000 your selling). Please explain how you still plan on paying back investors through means other than giving them back little parts of their own money.

Rage on Acoin! Crypto.Scammage is selling 1000 shares of whatever. So what? Who cares? Did you know that a KNC Jupiter would have already mined over 6 btc year to date? Or are you just padding your "Signature for rent: I post several times a day (Not spam) PM Offer"?

Ah, brought in a troll account to defend this "company"?

If you invest in this, I feel no remorse for you.

A KNC jupiter will not make 6 BTC throughout the entire year. Not close. If the difficulty stayed the same rate, it would take 7-8 months to get 6 BTC from a Jupiter. Im done posting about the bullshit of this listing, to the OP, you should admit your a scammer or that you don't know what you are doing. Its either one of those two, Im hoping scammer because if you truly think your business is worth what you say it is, you are just another dimwit in a world filled with them.

1503  Economy / Securities / Re: [CRYPTOSTOCKS] Project Reviews on: June 02, 2014, 04:58:50 PM
I wonder - Even if Cryptostocks fails, how bad is that for us as shareholders?

Cryptostocks holds no money, right? We HAVE the shares, and if the share-issuers are honest, we will keep owning the shares, even if the plattform dies.
Cryptostocks is supposed to be nothing more then a trading-plattform.

I would say, the share-issuers should just leave cryptostocks and go to Havelock.

My problem is, if CS comes back online, I would like to leave - because the warning signs are there. We had this situation once. I don't want to wait for a third time. But its not so easy this time. I like my coinfarm, my return and my msp shares. So what is the reasonable thing to do here?

Not to sound rude... But you probably should stay away from investing. Of course cryptostocks holds money, thats the big issue. People are not able to withdraw / deposit their BTC or receive dividends. Getting a list of shareholders isn't difficult I would imagine, so who owns the shares is not going to be a problem.
1504  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Buisness] Selling Ownership of tetraupload.com [VPN / Cloud Storage] on: June 02, 2014, 04:53:39 PM
btcrow.com is a good escrow

also a few hero members that offer good escrow services
1505  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Buisness] Selling Ownership of tetraupload.com [VPN / Cloud Storage] on: June 02, 2014, 04:28:31 AM
Yeah, really caught me off guard when he ended the auction over a week before it was ending at just $500 with the sites claimed revenue. Than when he didn't recognize my bid earlier, showed he was purely looking for bids.

Sorry about your loss arij
Always use escrow unless you trust the person (would still suggest using it)
1506  Economy / Securities / Re: [WEBB] IPO, Round 1=== on: June 02, 2014, 04:23:54 AM
0 profit. Thanks for being semi truthful (Theres no way you have "built" hundreds of sites unless your just plastering the same bleh template over all of them)

Anyone that invests gambles in this is bonkers.

This really belongs in the gambling section:
"Gambling
Gambling and all "investments" that are so risky they might as well be gambling (HYIPs, pyramid schemes, etc.)"

1510  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: June 01, 2014, 09:10:23 PM
Its very plausible FC has interests elsewhere. Its a bit questionable to see how they ended the last month with a loss. This business is valued in the hundreds of millions (IMO its overpriced), and its share prices have taken a bit of a tumble recently, check out the orderbook on havelock. While some of its attributed to the recent increase of the USD value, its still losing ground regardless of that, yesterday each share was valued at ~$240, right now its at $170. Bit nerve racking considering this is by far the largest BTC business
1511  Economy / Securities / Re: [WEBB] IPO, Round 1=== on: June 01, 2014, 06:43:33 PM
Please list the hundreds of sites you "built"
1512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A large sum of money, where would you keep it? on: June 01, 2014, 06:35:40 PM

Well done! Imagine if you'd started with 1 BTC ;-)

Exactly. Rich get richer, poor get poorer, where's the decentralization and altruistism? There is none. It's just another Wall Street fueled by greed.
Well, what did you think was going to happen? Bitcoin is money, that's all. There is no altruism in the protocol, it is utterly free of morality. However, there is a HUGE difference with bitcoin. Bitcoin is completely fair. That is not to say you are given anything. But both you and Bill Gates compete on the same field. He may be able to afford more than you, but he can't game the system like the rigged NYSE. NO ONE has control over bitcoin and that is the fair part.

Not true. Currently very easy to move BTC market. Even a million dollar flash dump of coins could move the market. Imagine if Satoshi dumped his 600,000+ coins. BTC would lose nearly its entire value.

To OP:
I wouldn't keep more than 40% of your BTC in actual bitcoins. To be completely honest I can't see BTC going above the $1000-1500 for a long, long time, if ever. Don't get greedy. Keep 5% in fiat to sort everyday bills that you can't pay with BTC just yet (IE Groceries). Keep your fiat in cash, theres no need to use a bank unless your looking for a loan. You can always cash deposit if a large payment is due. I would put 5% in BTC related investments (Such as CBTC, SCRYPT or other established crypto business's), they typically pay high returns in dividends. I would keep 15% in silver and 10% in gold, silver is typically more stable than gold, and also has a much higher potential for increase. Buy physical gold/silver and store it yourself. You can buy silver/gold with your BTC through many channels, so it would never go through a bank. I would keep 5% in the chinese Yuan which has historically performed very well, and will only increase in value as China continues to move forward into the future. I would also suggest putting 10% towards mining (I would suggest PBMine, very cheap rates and nice site). I would also keep 10% in LTC, if BTC goes up LTC will most surely follow. I would keep the last 10% in a hotwallet (use a very good password!). You can use this 10% to purchase stuff off of overstock.com, direct TV (if you are near them) and other similar places to avoid having to use fiat.

So it'l look like this:
30% BTC (Cold storage)
5% Fiat
5% BTC Related Investments
15% Silver
10% Gold
5% Yuan
10% Mining (If you purchase mining contracts with PBmining il split the referal bonus with you 50/50)
10% LTC
10% BTC hot wallet

1513  Economy / Securities / Re: [CRYPTOSTOCKS] Project Reviews on: June 01, 2014, 05:22:48 AM
How would it not make sense?

They likely pool all resources together (it would be stupid not to), so when dividends are paid a user is credited "x" amount of coin, and they don't have to pay transaction fees. Wallets are either down or they are going scam, but dividends should be being credited as usual

What do you mean they aren't going scam? operators have already scammed large amount on multiple occasions, zebras don't change their stripes.

I didn't say they aren't going to scam. I said it would make sense if the wallets are down but dividends are still credited.
Anyone have any insight as to when these guys are gonna be back to normal? This is getting really annoying and considering they're like a mini-Havelock they need to keep glitches like this from happening into the future.

My guess is either owner vanishes, gets "hacked", and theres a small chance that its an honest mistake (and if it is a detailed explanation is needed). I would give it 2-3 days tops before saying for sure that the owner is a scammer, and right now he's at best negligent
1514  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Goat owe me 3740.35 BTC on: May 31, 2014, 10:28:11 PM
^^He says its a non english speaking country "Also,it's not in English language", the majority of the world doesn't speak fluent english

And to those saying Goat doesn't have to pay it back, he absolutely does. And if Gurrty started threatening Goat, thats completely understandable. How would you feel if someone holding nearly 2 million dollars of your funds was posting pictures of purchasing lamborghinis and showing off wallets, but refused/delayed to pay you back what your owed?

Regardless of the terms of the contract Gurrty has a strong case for his claim in court, hopefully he gets his BTC back.

Didn't you use escrow?

And glad I stayed away from this.

"Building and support of this project cost 20 BTC."
Yes, it looks like it costed $10,000+  Grin

Can buy a nicer looking script for a couple hundred bucks.

If you expect this to be taken more seriously show the traffic / # users / profits of the project so far in order to make your valuation make sense
1520  Economy / Securities / Re: [WEBB] IPO, Round 1=== on: May 31, 2014, 07:13:01 PM
How about those numbers
Im earning around $3 per month from various bitcoin properties. I need writers and funds for traffic acquisition and monetization. I am not a very skilled writer so finding passionate word crafters is one of the first steps to take.

$3/Month revenue, 10BTC / $6,000 valuation?

You're really asking for an unsecured loan, not an investment.

Actually, its more than $6,000 / 10BTC. Its a $60,000 / 100 BTC valuation. He's offering a 10% stake for 10BTC, the remaining 90% stake he is retaining
