1181  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM IPO] AcoinL.L.C; Smack_That_Ace; www.Localpunter.com [SCAM IPO] on: July 16, 2014, 01:22:00 AM
...
Now to further his stupidity:
No amendments were made, I created a TL:DR at the top that posts the same information. $4,000 in revenue does NOT mean $4,000 in net profit. The site generates $4,000 in revenue, but $800 is the net profit. Finance 101, troll.
...

Lol, do you know the difference between the words "gross" and "net"?  I suggest you learn it before doing any more IPOing Cheesy

Further, "rake" is not "revenue," "rake" is the percentage kept by the house.  Calling it "GROSS income" is also acceptable.
Forget about accounting 101, brush up on shapes and colors.

@Smack That Ace: Get good at scamming, or give it up altogether.  And find better kids to run with.  The way it is well... it ain't working for you, pretty embarrassing to watch Undecided

Are you blind? Look at what you originally screenshotted / quoted LOL
Of course rake does not mean revenue, I said from rake. As in the source of the revenue. Any nimwit could figure that out. Go back to your hiding place and cry a little more.

2:
The site has only been running for 2 months. Anyone that doubts us, is able to join our games, normally our players are on between 4pm to 9pm Central time. Infact, we will let you play with free chips, and you can keep your winnings. Its a temporary site thats supposed to be a placeholder to allow club members to play poker while the new site is developed, pages that are currently not in use were not updated (IE promotions). Proof of ownership: http://www.localpunter.com/promotions.php

3:
The client he sent you a PM about in regards of an IPO, is not about Localpunter, but about SexyBTC (a user on this site). SexyBTC is looking to raise funds to develop her idea, to which I ended up declining to do, as I don't think it will be a success in its current form. I cannot go into further details as its Smack That Ace's client and she entrusted him to keep her idea secret until its ready to launch. I will ask him to see if he can get permission to post more information here.

You must mean "net profit," my differently-enabled friend!

And actually Gross profits is an appropriate term
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gross_profit

You may consider overhead in hosting, but I consider hosting to be the cost of providing the service.

Net profit would also work, but in this case there is little difference between the two

Quote
Bro, you're illiterate.  Worse, you use words you simply don't understand. The site isn't finished.

Before you try again, protip:  Get good! Cheesy
Do you even know what illiterate means? I fully understand the words I use, and they make complete sense. Yes, the site is not completely finished but the site functions just fine currently. There are no running promotions / tournaments, thus there is no need to add content to those pages currently.
1186  Economy / Securities / Re: [POKER] Existing Poker Site IPO (Currently $4,000+ monthly revenue) on: July 15, 2014, 09:59:55 PM
You must mean "net profit," my differently-enabled friend!

Amyhow, for moar lel from the "premiere poker site"

And this site is taking in $4,000 in rake? Cheesy

Feel free to watch the games if you want to see the revenue come in, the site still needs content added to some pages
1187  Economy / Securities / Re: [POKER] Existing Poker Site IPO (Currently $4,000+ monthly revenue) on: July 15, 2014, 09:45:09 PM
D00d, if the site takes in $4k a month in rake, what do you mean when you say its "gross profit" is $800/mo?

You don't understand

a.  What rake is.
b.  What the word "gross" means.
c.  What the word "profit" means.
d.  All of the above. <==Pick me, pick d!!!

Do you not understand what the difference between revenue and gross profits are? Revenue = income earned before expenses, gross profits = money left after all expenses. Do you know what rake is? Rake is when a poker room takes a small % of the winning pot at the end of every played hand.

You should probably read the rest of it as well, I explain why the revenue is so different than the gross profits in the Miscellaneous Information section, but your itch to troll probably got to you before you got that far. Many of the members were brought in through a very lucrative affiliate program, which takes a chunk out of the revenue.

Don't make this turn into a self moderated thread
1188  Economy / Securities / Re: [POKER] Existing Poker Site IPO (Currently $4,000+ monthly revenue) on: July 15, 2014, 09:17:28 PM
...
Financial Summary:
The business is currently generating over $4000 per month through rake, with a gross profit of $800 per month...

Welp, makes about as much sense as everything else here Cheesy

Never fail to troll a thread. Do you have an issue with a crypto asset giving itself a more than fair valuation? Currently the site is on track to make more during a 1 year period in profits than its valuation, that doesn't even take into account its large growth potential
1189  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auctioning Brand New Coin + Domains! Starting Price: $50! on: July 15, 2014, 08:54:39 PM
Would bid, but why is the coins per block so slow!! Would take forever to get a decent amount of coins out there, 25 coins every 15 minutes ;(

You could change it if you want.

Loljosh is willing to make the change for 0.05 BTC.

That's a lot of money to change a single variable.

Why Im going to abstain from this. I've never attempted to build / edit a coin before and its not something I really want to do. To busy at the moment :/

If you could increase it to a higher # I will start bidding
1190  Economy / Securities / [POKER] Existing Poker Site IPO (Currently $4,000+ monthly revenue) on: July 15, 2014, 08:27:19 PM
Let me start off by saying, that I am NOT the issuer / operator of this asset. Smack That Ace, whos profile can be located here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=229097, is the owner and operator of this asset. I have been commissioned by him to handle his IPO. While I have complete trust in him (which is why I agreed to run this IPO), I also hold his ID in escrow. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Regards,
Matt (AcoinL.L.C)

Overview:
www.Localpunter.com is the premier crypto poker club, with the ability to accept 5 different cryptocurrencies. The crypto poker market is just taking off, however the niche club poker sector has remained relatively untouched, with no competitors holding significant market share. Localpunter is an exclusive poker room, capping out at only 99 members. Localpunter is also unique in having a payment processor that allows the quick acceptance of nearly any cryptocurrency. Localpunter offers a cashout system in addition to crypto withdraws, where members can be issued debit cards and receive their funds in fiat. For example, a player can choose an option to get USD through a club debit card which is mailed to them upon registration. Localpunter also has a clothing line through a partnership with a drop shipping company. The site has one employee who manages withdrawals for club members, and provides customer service.

Financial Summary:
The business is currently generating over $4000 per month in revenue through rake, with a gross profit of $800 per month. Each share is entitled to 1/110,000 of Localpunter’s gross profits. The issuer will provide for maintenance / future work out of his shares. The asset issuer has already provided over $4,000 into the project, as well as over a hundred hours of work. The site has been operational for two months. The site has one employee who manages withdrawals and customer service for $200 a month. Their wage is paid through until the end of August.

Costs:
Monthly Upkeep:
  - Hosting $100
  - Marketing $200* (Currently not in place)
  - Domain Name $1 a month ( 12$ a year)
  - DDOS protection $5 month
  - Employee Wage $200* (is covered until the end of August)
total: $106 ($506*)

Currently there are no other costs or liabilities.

Business Structure:
Localpunter is releasing 40,000 units at 0.000137 BTC (Currently $0.085) per unit, representing 36.36% of the company. The issuer will retain 60,000 shares, and the remaining 10,000 shares are held by a private investor (AcoinL.L.C)

Units offered: 40,000
Units privately held: 70,000
Total units: 110,000
Initial offering price: 0.000137 BTC ($0.085)
Total BTC to be raised: 5.48 BTC ($3400)
Total business valuation: 15.07 BTC ($9350)

Initial Fund Allocation:
The IPO funds will be used towards a facelift to the site, as well as rebranding the site to a more attractive name. The funds will also go towards further payment integration and development work, as well as marketing and content writing in order to attract additional members.

The IPO funds will be distributed in the following ways:
$500 - New website
$500 - Additional Payment Integration / Dev work
$900 - Marketing boost / Re-Branding
$1000 - Liquidity
$500 - New hosting hardware to allow for increased user load and better performance

Dividends:
Dividends will be issued on a weekly basis every sunday, and will be paid via Bitcoin.

Voting Rights:
Occasionally a vote will be brought to shareholders, in which the issuer will abstain from voting in due to holding the majority of shares. The issuer will only go against a shareholder vote if the issuer determines the vote to be detrimental to the value of Localpunter.

Forced Buyback:
Localpunter cannot issue a forced buyback unless over 75% of shares vote to do so.

Share Dilution:
Localpunter cannot issue any additional shares. However, Localpunter can increase the number of units in-exchange for current units in order to secure further funding. For example: If investor “A” held 10 Localpunter shares, and Localpunter multipled its shares by 10, investor “A” will now have 100 Localpunter shares. Any additional funding would come directly from the issuer’s shares.

Issuer Background:
The issuer has provided personal identification, held by AcoinL.L.C in escrow, as a form of collateral. Once the IPO is over, the issuer will be available to talk with shareholders through skype. If you have any questions/concerns before the end of the IPO, the issuer is also willing to answer your questions. The issuer’s identity will not be released publicly unless the issuer vanishes / runs off with funds. Note the business is NOT based in the U.S, and the issuer does not live in the U.S.

Miscellaneous Information:
The reason the revenue is significantly higher than the profit is due to an affiliate program, through which the majority of players joined through. The agents are responsible for the customer and financial service of these players and they range from countries in Asia, Middle East and Canada. While Localpunter’s employee is able to authorize withdrawal’s, they do not have access to Localpunter’s funds and/or player’s funds. Some of the revenue comes via a membership fee, with the majority of revenue being collected through rakes. Localpunter will also be offering custom debit cards and a clothing line in order to bring in additional revenue. The play limit is fairly high, with a minimum of $100 USD. The average players plays with around $400 per week. Localpunter currently has twenty-five live members who play almost everyday, increasing at a gradual rate. The asset issuer has the right to transfer Localpunter shares to a centralized exchange at anytime.

EDIT:

How many total members? $2000 would be a lot for a forum that has only a couple hundred members. 1k pageviews is not anything that special either, where did you get this valued at $3,000? 1k page views = ~$1.5 in ad money.

Scrypt mining contract from Cryptocurrency Inc. currently priced at $0.025 cent per 1 Kh/s.

Price has been reduced to only $25 per each 1000 Kh/s.

What a scam. No other way to explain making your price 1/3 what it was a week ago.
