961  Economy / Digital goods / Re: update error topic Crypto Exchange Script 0.5 BTC [NO BUGS] & Secure! on: August 08, 2014, 12:15:13 AM
So to confirm.

You sold a script that didn't work.
Now you are charging people extra to fix that script? For 0.5btc?

You sold a script that didn't work.: the script work, you can check

What then is the website address of the site you built for the guy who says you scammed him?  And don't give us your "demo sites"... give us the site you actually built for the one who is claiming you scammed him.
this is site work
I dont scam anyone
http://coinpal.net/

Coinpal is a known scam. Not to mention it looks way different than ecoinstrader. Lets see the script you actually made, on one of these "demo sites" you have, add your username in it.
962  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] CasinoBitco.in Bit777/Peerbet CBTC Thread- NEW LIVE STATS PAGE! on: August 07, 2014, 09:39:11 PM
mr_e and AnoinL.L.C -> This is fair criticism, so hopefully my response doesn't get lost in translation - if it does, please don't hesitate to reach out to me personally and we can continue chatting.

The wheel itself, meaning it's fairness and randomness, was never broke - the defect revolved around users being able to bet more than 1% of the available bankroll. This surfaced in early May and (I agree) its something I wish we identified either before or shortly after the purchase in late February. To say it should come out of management's pockets is not the solution to this though, the equivalent would be for me to say "My team nailed the World Cup last month - that ~+15 BTC we took in should go directly to me and my guys". Goes without saying this is not how you run a business.. CBTC is a company - and unit holders share in the success and failures of the company, we are more than transparent with details and we strive to continue this level of transparency and be more successful.

Regarding the buyback / retained profits: Any further acquisition is literally the last on our minds. We clearly have learned a lot with the Peerbet acquisition (see above) and need to really finish upgrading CasinoBitco.in and cleaning up PeerBet before we even consider any other consolidation of the marketplace - but in a few months when we are in a good spot, I wouldn't want us to not take on more opportunities if the situation is ideal.

Before our next scheduled dividend (end of Q3), we will find a happy balance between unit buyback as well as the bolstering of the bankroll. Any decision will be properly communicated with all unit holders via the Havelock Update feature as well as our monthly reports. We just as frustrated with the low price as you are - but at the current price point it does seem like a great opportunity for us to start the buyback on the cheap.

Because the player is a good, consistent player - and at the time (and even today), I don't believe he knew he was taking advantage of a defect - he was just playing.

At the end of the day, we put ourselves in the player's shoes and imagined what it would feel like to hit essentially a jackpot - then not get paid out. The management collectively debated a few options and ultimately we decided it was in our best interests to do right by him and all our players - so we paid him out.

"Our biggest expense in July was a 19 BTC payment for a user which won over 30 BTC
playing the PeerBet Wheel with only one spin. As discussed at the time this occurred in May,
there was a defect in the PeerBet application which allowed users to roll and potentially win more
than 1% of the bankroll this defect was addressed shortly after this user won. Worth noting,
while this actually occurred in May; the user that won agreed to be paid out 11 BTC at the time of
the spin, and the remaining BTC to be paid in July"

Why are we paying out for a defect?

All these defects are very concerning... I remember a few months ago where someone on Reddit had been arguing with you about a number of possible defects on the site and your complete denial that there were any. Now it is costing us a lot of money and it seems like they just keep popping up. As a programmer I would love to know how a wheel game - a glorified random number generator - could have such a large hole. I really hope this is the last of it.

I have to agree with mr_e on this.. A wheel game is incredibly simple, even with the invest feature. You could have one developed in a ~month from scratch, easy. Most likely 2-3 weeks. CBTC has been in possession of Peerdice/wheel etc for what, 4-5 months now? Thats absolutely ridiculous. The defect should go out of managements paycheck, not having a script checked over before entrusting it with tens of thousands of dollars... I can't even.

The share buybacks is good, however the funds being put towards the buyback are also being put towards bigger bankrolls / acquisitions and development? I think the acquisitions should slow down, as the sites currently being operated need to be fixed up first. Why not set aside ~20% of profit to development, and 30% to buybacks? Its very vague to say the least right now. Also, whats the current bankroll across all sites (Bankroll owned by CBTC that is)? Currently the "x" factor for CBTC is how much bankroll it has... The current share price is pretty pitiful. First time I have seen it under $.04 in value (currently at $.03), as well as dip below 5k satoshi. Buybacks can't happen soon enough Smiley

Glad to hear that acquiring more sites is off the radar for the meanwhile. However, Im still baffled how a mistake in the code that significant was able to sit there for months without it being fixed. Was the script tested with more than the allowed max bet? A casinos first priority should be making sure their games work as intended, and testing them thoroughly before bringing them to the market. Maybe you should offer crowdcurity bounties across all the sites?

And could you please PM me the current bankroll of all the sites if you don't want to publicly post it here, as its currently one of my biggest concerns with CBTC.
963  Economy / Securities / Re: BitDice.me | DogeDice.me - Invest in 1% House Edge Biggest Dogecoin&Bitcoin Site on: August 07, 2014, 05:12:07 AM
Thank you all for the feedbacks.

1. I saw that Dooglus had and still has topic here about investing into JD, thus I also posted here as it related to investing.
2. I posted information about DogeDice here because it's biggest dogecoin dice site available and people invest there. We have the same for BitDice, but as I said and @AcoinL.L.C confirmed because we do not have big bankroll, players prefer something more reliable where some already invested a lot of bitcoins. Trust is hard to get.
3. BitDice has been re-opened, because when we implemented investing option, we closed it for a week (we moved from DO to OVH, had DDoS), and then re-opened with updated version. I will prepare statistic for bitdice.me as well.

PS: @AcoinL.L.C DiceBitco.in might have some of our options, however they can not get our speed. I do not know any of the sites maybe except JD where site can process hundreds of bets per second.

Don't get me wrong, your site looks good, just DiceBitco.in has a bankroll much bigger, thus safer to invest funds with :/

Il be sure to try your dogedice though Smiley
964  Economy / Securities / Re: Less Than Half Price Coinpal.com Stocks - 18740 stocks to go! Escrow allowed. on: August 07, 2014, 04:56:10 AM
These are not worth .001. IPO flag is on because the asset issuer is a scammer, this whole asset is a sham. The shares were trading at 0.000057BTC before the IPO flag was raised.

Yeah because we didn't see a website or conclusive proof of any work. I invested 50 grand, so I took legal proceedings. The owner isn't a 'scammer' simply for the fact he is going to have to pay for this.

We know his name, address, fathers business, one way or another he will have to stick to his word. If he doesn't then it's large scale theft and his parole officer knows about it. It's just a matter of waiting between now and next month. He already owes me a huge amount in dividends so I don't care about the shares.

His father owns a profitable business and he actually got his father involved by using his networks and such to pull the site off. One way or another he sticks to his word or goes to jail leaving his debt for someone else to pay.

Read the thread, I've had lawyers looking in to it since the minute I called him out for pulling a scam.

Whoever buys these is getting a bargain. I don't need the money, if I did I wouldn't have blindly invested 50'000 in to the business in the first place. I just don't want the shares.

Also, to anyone who buys at least half of them I'll throw in 600 autotrader shares worth 0.0018 a share and rising.

Its a terrible purchase, how is it a bargain when the actual value is 0.000057 per share, no one will pay the IPO flag price, or anything close to it.

966  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM IPO] AcoinL.L.C; Smack_That_Ace; www.Localpunter.com [SCAM IPO] on: August 07, 2014, 04:21:39 AM

Clear my name?  Aside from your baseless accusation there's nobody here that thinks I'm a scammer.  Nonetheless, got nothing better to do so might as well make you look stupid.  Add me, same username

I will add you as soon as I get home and first of all to prove you are not smack that ace is what anyone who has a clean conscience would and should do, you are taking it too personal. My project is on hold because of these scammers and it is my fault for going with the first idiot who claimed he would do everything down to having professional scripts written for my broadcast material.

I am taking it personal because they all but killed my project to attempt to defraud investors and leave me as the fall guy. I have been planning this show for many months now and can prove it also have members on here that are aware of it that skype on a regular basis, mostly talking about the progress of my project until I learned there was a scam in the first place.

I walked blindly into it and I have a legitimate Business model with great potential, I have disclosed so many unique concepts to these jerks or jerk and feel that Nobody! and I mean Nobody should have to go through something like this.

One or two of those new members each hour just might be a real new forum member and they deserve a fair shot at the crypto market without jerks using them for their own schemes and then tarnishing their idea or concept.

If you are really in the states and from the states then you cannot be sma, that does not clear you from being part of his plot even if it is without your knowledge. There does not seem to be many big picture thinkers in this discussion, Which by the way let me remind you is off topic and you should consider posting any followups in the before mentioned and now again at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=727235.0 Notalambchop would appreciate it.

Back to you cooldgamer, Also don't start spazzing out and having convulsions because I said you could be somehow connected to sma, I did mention it with a wide range of possibilities. I am in this for two reasons now to make sure newcomers don't get flimflammed and investors don't get ripped off.

Besides whats wrong with meeting on a video chat that only strengthens your position as a good honest person, anyone who would instantly buck up and say they don't have to is just the person I would be concerned about doing business with in the first place.

I look forward to meeting on video, I hope your camera and mic work because Vual and Smack that ace only had mic's but they sure didn't mind me being on video. I will add and call you in about an hour and a half.

To any concerned I could of sent this in a private message but as in the nature of BTC transparency is a must for me on the new project of mine. The exposure of a ring of frauds that have been in the system what may go back as early as 2011 possibility further.
So I feel I need to keep all correspondences from me at this point related to this matter a public matter and issue, in the hopes that these rings are broken down and there is some law and order for the people of this site.

I have started a topic on this very issue and listed it twice please make any future comment there as I do not want to take over this topic so please respect the topic here and move additional input to the appropriate area.

Sorry OP for venting in here as I also mentioned before, the only reason I realized I was on a crash course with disaster considering my project is this topic. So I once again give you my thanks for giving me that reason to doubt. Were it not for that I would have been in worse shape than I am in now and I intend on showing you a debt of gratitude.

FYI
Speaking of the OP
Magic IPO being an honest person and answering truthfully are you registered with the SEC

SEC Charges Bitcoin Entrepreneur With Offering Unregistered Securities
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
2014-111
Washington D.C., June 3, 2014 —

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged the co-owner of two Bitcoin-related websites for publicly offering shares in the two ventures without registering them. Full article here http://www.sec.gov/News/PressRelease/Detail/PressRelease/1370541972520

That's just friendly advice from someone who almost started an IPO. I seriously doubt either of the clowns I was working with are registered by the SEC for this sort of thing and without google or something similar they would have no clue what that acronym stood for, unless I spelled it out as I did above.

Do The Right Thing
SexyBTC Out!

OMG! EVERYONE! Satoshi Nakamoto is an alt of Smack That Ace! So is Theymos! All trying to steal your btcz

This is getting so ridiculous its unbelievable. Does my text look like its written by a native english speaker, or a non native speaker (Smack That Ace)? Ive already provided screenshots proving the auction held months ago was a real bid by me, in which I lost 1BTC to a scammer who created a similar username (I was new to the forum and didn't pay enough attention. Lesson learned  Undecided).

SexyBTC, you should start looking at your trust more often. You realize your getting more negative feedback the more you try and correlate that I, and everyone else is Smack That Ace. You sound loony. Also, since your looking up legalities, you should look up slander Wink
Also, you do realize the SEC is a US organization, correct? Smack That Ace is not american... The site is not run in the US... The sites players are not American. I am a private investor, and the other investor that purchased is also not american as far as I am aware. So why would the SEC have any concern? They clearly don't care about havelock which has allowed projects with valuations that are several 100x the size of this project, and they are clearly going after US investors.

Signing onto this project was clearly not worth it, and Smack That Ace and I are highly considering him purchasing my stake, and than each of us are going our separate ways. Project was clearly not worth the hassle and trolls it entailed. Bottom line is, I don't really know the details of the project you did with Scott and Duke, all I know is that Duke dropped you as a client and that Scott completed your site. Any disagreements you have with them.. is with them. Not me.

Again, drop the accusations or get evidence. You still have yet to provide any evidence after several pages of your rants.
967  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM IPO] AcoinL.L.C; Smack_That_Ace; www.Localpunter.com [SCAM IPO] on: August 06, 2014, 09:33:15 PM
SexyBTC, are you off your meds? Completely serious question. Your really sounding like someone that wears tin foil everywhere.

Are all the people who have left me positive trust alts to? Does Smack That Ace spend 24 hours a day posting from his several hundred accounts, creating new accounts here and there in order to spruce up his story in order to "scam" you. Your still failing to show how you got scammed here? You said he left your project... Ok. How is that scamming? Did he take any money from you? If not, how is it a scam? And you need to start showing evidence Duke and I are the same user, Im still waiting for it a few days later. If you haven't checked my trust, its quite a bit larger than yours, and its easier on the eyes... all that red hurts my eyes Wink
Not to mention I have done over 10BTC of deals through Bitcointalk not including Localpunter (Update coming on that shortly). Where is all of this BTC you were supposedly scammed of?
968  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Would you buy a hardware wallet? on: August 06, 2014, 09:21:27 PM
If the price is decent, yes. I likely wouldn't shell out a couple hundred bucks for a hardware wallet unless more brick and mortar shops started accepting BTC... And I have a mobile wallet anyways (Bread) which is secure enough storing enough money to go shopping with anyways. So likely no, if its sub $100, maybe depending on its appearance  Grin

970  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auction: Hero Member forum account 1k+ activity 1k+ post count on: August 06, 2014, 07:42:17 PM
OP - it looks like your auction has ended. Are you going to accept my bid?

You never bid. The OP said starting bid was 1BTC, another user came on and said lets start the bidding lower which is when you bid
Do you think we can get an answer from the OP instead of someone from the PD signature campaign trying to pad his post count?

Just in case you missed the part of this being a public forum with members being able to post responses to anything they want let me remind you.

Also since you're bidding on said account and you mentioned "padding your post count" what do you think you will be doing if/when you receive this hero account? Unless you're just trying to buy it to scam a bunch of people?

Maybe he just had a bad day, either that or a temper. But its quite clear the OP did not list the auction at .15BTC, that was simple what you offered. Im willing to wager 1BTC that the OP will not accept .15BTC as the reserve was over 1BTC according to the original post.

977  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: August 06, 2014, 01:26:45 PM
Originally, shares were $1 USD each (.1btc @ $10 USD/btc) so 5000 shares required an investment of $5,000 USD.

Now, shares are ~.25btc @ $580 or $145 each.  5000 shares would cost around $725,000 USD

I would like to propose a new tier of board member.  Currently it would seem that board members meet semi-monthly via a text based chat.  What if friedcat created a new tier, a view only board member or 'board viewer' that would be open to those share holders with >= 500 shares.  This would give some incentive for larger holders to hodl and would give smaller holders incentive to buy.

If the existing board members were amiable there could even be a side-channel chat where the viewers could pose questions to the board members with 'speak' and if they like the question, they could pose it to friedcat.

Thoughts?
I like it. But will FC agree? There is no reason for him to agree.
It would be more work, but it would also help maintain value of AM shares, which would benefit him seeing as how he owns ~250,000 shares

I like it too. He should listen his shareholders and boardmembers(!)  more, what are they telling him. He doesn't looks like experienced person and steps/decisions from gen1 were simply ... wrong. (Gen2 chip size,Gen3 performance, exchange, lot of promises about better PR,leaving self-mining,stopping production/sales of miners and focusing only on chip sales, very expensive immersion cooling solution and in the end helping the other companies/competitors grow)

After the months of cooperation with almost everybody, and helping everybody with ideas like open-source miners, now, he's shouting : Lets destroy all of them ! The goal is corner all competitors from market ... oh, ok. Show the AM hashrate then. Why is hidden, if you're mining? Something besides talks please, I am tired from talks/promises and plans.

Like in r/BitcoinMarkets we like to use : "Next few weeks are critical"

Next few weeks will see AM price go back down... $170 is not a realistic price for the security, puts a big valuation on a 1 year old business, especially considering the last few months financial performance...

If you're just going to post about your alt site, move this thread to Alt Crypto -> Marketplace.

These aren't a security, this belongs under gambling. And no offense, but DiceBitco.in has all the features you said makes you different than the other sites, and it would be a much better place to invest BTC.
