Guys bawal ba talaga dito ung account farming? Tingnan nyo to binigyan ng negative trust tas ung reason account farming
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=446446

this is very profitable idea one paypal can use 4-5 time no ban.

Wow! you even replied to the post confirming that you indeed plan to cheat Paypal.
Why dont you use your creativeness in another way that does not involve cheating or scam!
1504  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.10 btc loan on: August 06, 2015, 11:44:13 AM
So you just repaid a loan less then 24 hours ago yet you are looking for a larger loan, now? Don't you think it would have made more sense to have the original length of the loan be a little bit longer in the first place? Roll Eyes

I don't understand , what do you mean to say ?  Are you asking to request loan taking some break . OR keeping the same amount which I have kept in previous loan request.

I think what Quickseller is trying to say is you should have requested to extend the deadline of you loan. That way you still have money.
or maybe you should have asked ManyProofs to extend and you will just pay the interest.

question sa mga gumagamit ng coins.ph
may bayad pa ang pag convert from BTC wallet to PhP Wallet?
same din pag convert from PhP wallet to BTC Wallet?

BTC wallet to PHP wallet uses their SELL RATE
PHP wallet to BTC wallet uses their BUY RATE

Thank you. Kala ko walang bawas yun kaya pala lumiliit pag palipat lipat from BTC wallet to PHP wallet and PHP wallet to BTC.

Are you going to include the FEE for the escrow?
1509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Merriam-Webster's Dictionary on: August 06, 2015, 08:56:57 AM
Some of us are hoping that Bitcoin will be accepted by the public and be used in the future like an ordinary currency.
However, I noticed that the word "Bitcoin" itself is not yet in the Merriam Websters dictionary. (please correct me if i'm wrong)
So I searched how can a word be added in the Merriam-Websters dictionary and here's the answer

Quote
To decide which words to include in the dictionary and to determine what they mean, Merriam-Webster editors study the language as it's used. They carefully monitor which words people use most often and how they use them.

Each day most Merriam-Webster editors devote an hour or two to reading a cross section of published material, including books, newspapers, magazines, and electronic publications; in our office this activity is called "reading and marking." The editors scour the texts in search of new words, new usages of existing words, variant spellings, and inflected forms–in short, anything that might help in deciding if a word belongs in the dictionary, understanding what it means, and determining typical usage. Any word of interest is marked, along with surrounding context that offers insight into its form and use.

reference: Merriam-Websters Dictionary FAQs

Looks like we still have a long way to go before Bitcoin will be accepted

Well, it appears to me that Merriam-Webster's editors are not doing such a good job because Bitcoin has been and is constantly being mentioned in all the above mentioned media.
It's either that or they are avoiding it for a reason.

Has anyone tried contacting them about adding Bitcoin in their dictionary?

I was thinking of sending hem like a petition so Bitcoin will be added there, but upon reading the FAQs I don't think it's necessary.
I wonder what kind of reading materials do they have? comics maybe?

1512  Economy / Lending / Re: Request .015 loan on: August 06, 2015, 02:31:21 AM
Will use account as collateral if I can . It has ability to be a member I believe with just a few posts This just until Friday Will pay back .02

I can give you the loan you are asking if you can provide other collateral and not this one that you are using.
Trust rating of this account doesn't look good. (Trust: -2: -1 / +0)

No, sorry and I think it would be and Id guess that in the event I would default and the account be taken over by the loaner,  the person causing the negative trust would remove if asked

they will not remove the negative trust if if the the account is sold to others. A lot have tried that already but answer from the person who give the negative trust is no.

after 31 days and 35 pages after the day cloudminr.io turned scam where are we now?
no chance for cloudminr.io to give back our investment, they cant even post a single update here

CloudMinr ran away with your money. In addition they also sold their database of accounts for 1BTC. So if you have any accounts that share the same user name and password. I suggest that you change those asap
Done. As soon as I cloudminr.io claimed that they we're hacked I checked my list if there's any site that I use same password.
I changed the password to the email that I use with cloudminr.io
It's just hard to organize password to different sites.

how do you compute the value for Potential Activity?
our account only shows Posts and Activity

I have made a bot to calculate potential activity.
You can check demo at:
http://www.satoshiquiz.com/bitcointalk/getactivity.php

Limit:
Only accounts with max 100 posts will work in demo mode.

ok. Nice bot you have there. I checked the link, unfortunately my posts is over 100 so it didn't work Smiley
i'll just wait for my account to increase its level every other Wednesday and hopefully by September i reach Full Member

Awesome! this project is very useful! I have planning to sell an account, this is very useful. Great work.

I don't understand much codes but I will prefer this project to be concluded by releasing it as a GUI simple software and not in codes.
It sounds like he's planning to release it in the form of a web page you go to, input some information into textboxes, and then it'll give you a value for the account. We were just discussing how we'd go about coding it.

I was just able to whip the page up in Javascript (felt like doing it as a small project) and here's the result:

Code:
<!-- Created by ColderThanIce on Bitcointalk. UID 429511. -->

<html>
<head>
<title>Bitcointalk Account Value Calculator</title>
<script type="text/javascript">
var quality
var trust
var currentactivity = 0
var potential = 0
var qualitymultiplier = 0
var trustmultiplier = 0
var finalprice = 0
var potentialactivity

function AccountValue(form)
{
currentactivity = form.activity.value
potential = form.potentialactivity.value
trust = form.trustrating.value
quality = form.postquality.value

// Determine the quality value selected, and set the multiplier to the correct amount
switch(quality)
{
case "excellent":
qualitymultiplier = 1.10;
break;
case "good":
qualitymultiplier = 1.025;
break;
case "fair":
qualitymultiplier = 1.00;
break;
case "poor":
qualitymultiplier = 0.975;
break;
case "bad":
qualitymultiplier = 0.95;
break;
}

//Determine the trust level selected, and set the multiplier to the correct amount
switch(trust)
{
case "darkgreen":
trustmultiplier = 1.20;
break;
case "lightgreen":
trustmultiplier = 1.10;
break;
case "neutral":
trustmultiplier = 1.00;
break;
case "negative":
trustmultiplier = 0.15;
break;
}

//Determine the difference between the account's activity and the account's potential activity
potentialactivity = (potential - currentactivity)

//Calculate final value of the account and round it to a maximum of eight decimal places
finalprice = ((0.00075 * currentactivity) + (0.000375 * potentialactivity)) * qualitymultiplier * trustmultiplier
finalprice = + finalprice.toFixed(8)

//Let the user know what the final value of the account is
alert("The account you entered is worth " + finalprice + " BTC.")
}
</script>
<body>
<form name="information">
<b><u>Post Quality</b></u><br>
<input type="radio" name="postquality" value="excellent">Excellent<br>

<input type="button" name="button" value="Get Account Value" onClick="AccountValue(this.form)"><br>
</form>
</form>
</body>
</html>

Copy that code, save the file as a .html and test it out, seems to work as it should at least on my end.

I have been try your code in html, the algo is correct? Because when i try to input my account spec there, the price is worth 0.3 BTC Shocked

I tried using that HTML code
what do you put in accounts potential activity?
I left it blank and selected
Post Activity = fair
Trust Rating = neutral
Accounts current activity = 84
Potential Activity = Huh

Result is = 0.0315BTC
1518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: SCRYPT.CC vs ZeusHash on: August 05, 2015, 09:23:51 AM
if you can stay away from those 2 companies much better but if between those 2 sites i'll go for scrypt.cc
just don't invest a lot on that site because have a habit of coming up with different issues like electricity charge and hacking
1519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tons of dust transactions from address "1mtgox..." what is this? on: August 05, 2015, 05:25:53 AM

I've seen accounts being sold with remarks saying that Account Activity have Potential to like Senior Member, Hero or Full Member
I would like to know how do we classify an account that have potential?
From what I know every 2 weeks an account will earn 14 activity points granting that there's enough posts made
An account to reach Full Member by September 2015, its has to be registered or created within the Month of May 2015 (please correct me if i'm wrong) and again granting that there's enough posts made.
