1501  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to go with all my BTC profits? on: June 24, 2020, 11:52:39 AM
If you are getting this much profits on which you can live your life then why don't you just honestly put the money in Bank and pay the taxes. I mean you still be earning big bucks every other day. Lolz. So what do you have to loose beside some chunk which will help your nation grow. (!)

I guess you just lurking around to advertise that website and nothing much. Anyone who is earning so much money would never go public and ask for help by asking where to spend and keep the money to avoid taxes. That's funny.

That's a bright idea, you can help a lot in our government most especially that we are experiencing economic crisis right now and the authority is not that strategic in helping people. The allocated budget for helping poor people amidst this pandemic is not that properly distributed and suddenly vanished.

You are really direct to the point which is good so that people will easily know the motive of the OP. But BTC is really a good thing to help other people.

If you have some spare amount BTC, you could help a lot of people in needs. Helping people is voluntary action where you can lessen the suffering of poor people who are struggling to survive this Covid-19 pandemic.  You should always pay your taxes.
1502  Economy / Economics / Re: What if this pandemic persists till the end of the year? on: June 24, 2020, 11:19:42 AM
Not being a negative thinker but this will probably lasts longer than this year. But we're so lucky because our scientist are working so hard and risking their lives just to find the vaccine that we are looking for. Looking and discovering the vaccine for Covid-19 requires a lot of time, effort, and budget. It is not that easy to look for an effective vaccine that we will use to fight the virus, it takes a lot of study before we do that.

Probably, as the economy of some countries are going down, and as this pandemic can lasts longer than we imagine, the government should look for an effective and precise plan to help the economy of their country to become stable.

That's one of the most important thing, not only the health sector that they should prioritize on.
1503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying food or groceries with Bitcoin on: June 24, 2020, 10:48:48 AM
Buying food or groceries with Bitcoin is a good idea but there is some problem. The price of Bitcoin is very volatile so many people are not interested in buying and selling everyday items with it. Moreover, Bitcoin's transaction fee is a little high at present that many people are not interested to pay for small transactions due to high transaction costs. Yet most people collect bitcoin usually for trade and to earn income from it. Many top companies already accepted bitcoin but if it is possible to maintain the price stability of Bitcoin and make the cost of its transactions less, it will be possible to buy and sell food and groceries worldwide.

Most of the grocery markets here in my place are not that knowledgeable in using cryptocurrency as a payment tool. When I try to buy goods in the groceries, I always use fiat as it is the traditional currency that they only accept. They also accept credit cards or debit cards but cryptocurrency is not that known here.

Maybe some of them understand how bitcoin works, but they are scared about its volatility once they have it. Bitcoin's price is really uncertain especially in the market so maybe some stores are not that courageous when it comes to holding a bitcoin. We all know that bitcoin is risky to invest that's why you need to be patient and manipulate it properly in the market.
1504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: June 23, 2020, 08:11:14 AM
It's getting a lot of attention because people are now lockdown or quarantine in their home and chess is the easiest and a game that you can play against anyone across the globe, it should have a  mass appeal because it's interactive and you can play at the comfort of your home or anywhere because of the internet.

Chess is really an interesting sports and I already played it since when I was young. Now that this Chess sports game is now in gambling platform, this will be a good feature as many people wants to play chess in gambling. All of us are only knowledgeable about the traditional chess where you will play in a certain table, but now, as our technology is advancing, they put it into a gambling platform where you can play with other people and it involves money.

This a great game as it will enhance your critical thinking skills and you will treat every game seriously because the fate of your bet and money depends on your performance. Chess adoption in online gambling platform is really good, it is a mental exercise as well as winning profits.
1505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL AT CRYPTO TRADING on: June 23, 2020, 07:39:11 AM
By the use of basic fundamentals and knowledge, you should improve yourself through experience and practice. There are a lot of trading simulator that you can use, you can try to invest a certain amount in trading. Explore trading platforms that will be suitable and effective for you to become comfortable in every transaction that you are going to perform. It is not easy at first but if you aim on your goals, then everything will fall into its place. Keep hustling, once you make mistakes, study and learn from it. You need also to adjust depending on the market situation so that you will know what kind of strategies you are going to prepare in order to gain profits instead of losses.
1506  Economy / Economics / Re: Lives vs Economy -- sad truth on: June 23, 2020, 07:08:10 AM
As we are dealing with the pandemic, the virus disease is prone to old citizens they have a weaker immune system than an average person and young adults  part

This pandemic according the author, this virus is not prone to the old citizens base on immune system, the virus is for everyone living it does not differentiate any one,a new born baby is the immune system not strong,  1 year old baby contacted corona virus.
Brotherly the virus is base on the environment we find our selves.close contact with affected one.

We all know that when we grow older, our immune systems are weakening and young people have stronger immune system. But no one is safe when it comes to this virus, no matter how old you are, the Covid-19 can still make you sick once you get it. But there are reports which the baby that was infected by the virus is already a Covid-19 survivor.

Our government should really prioritize the health sector and focus on supporting it with most of the budgets that we have. I know that economic crisis is also a problem but we should take care of the lives of our people.

We should take care of ourselves and our family once we engage with our environment and obey the "new normal" that there is still a virus out there. This pandemic will surely end, and we'll get through this.
1507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is another type of fiat money according to the New York Fed on: June 23, 2020, 06:38:32 AM
I find it unreasonable. Why is bitcoin fiat money when it is not approved by any government agency as a currency? Besides, it is considered an intangible asset and we will never see bitcoin in real life. it is a non-physical asset and cannot be traded directly from hand to hand. I think people should no longer struggle to think about Bitcoin becoming a common currency. it is unworthy, the supply is limited and a lot of whales hold it to manipulate the market. This is unfair and it's wrong to see bitcoin as a payable currency everywhere.

Yes, right now, there is still an issue between bitcoin and fiat currency. Most of the countries are not yet making bitcoin legal in their country so how can you say that it is an another type of fiat money?

Not all of us are knowledgeable about bitcoin that's why we are having a hard time to introduce it in the society and our community to achieve mass adoption.

Fiat currency is the traditional money that we are using for so many years in many transactions. While bitcoin is a digital currency that can be used in a more faster and safe transactions. This is due to the advancement of technology and it is very far different from fiat.
1508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addict steals $6 million of client funds to fund his gambling addiction on: June 22, 2020, 03:32:53 PM
I've always considered gambling addiction an affliction that is much worse than substance addiction. Whereas you have a limit to how much you can slam into your body and whereas your finances are depleted for the substances, there is only so much damage that you can do in one moment with substance addiction unless you're dying from it.

Addiction is still an addiction, no matter what kind it is. Once you are really into a certain activities, then you will really push yourself to do that no matter what happens. For me, IMO, substance addiction is much worse, it can cost lives once people are not knowledgeable about it, while in gambling addiction, you can overcome it once you control yourself and you have someone to guide you in order to limit yourself from doing it. Gambling addiction is not that easy to avoid, that's why you should do it little by little.

Problem gamblers, though... I bet their stakes go up in correlation with their external wealth, and there's no stopping it. It's pretty difficult to spend 30K on heroin in one day, but to spend 30K on a couple bets in a casino in a few minutes? You basically get rid of the buffer zone for any regret. Everything can happen instantly, and if you find yourself stealing from others to gamble... you get situations like this.

If someone will do anything just to steal money and spend it in gambling then he should be accountable on the consequences that may come to him. That's very unfair, you are using money that isn't yours. It is true that it is easy to spend money in gambling because the circulation of money there is extremely fast. You just place your bet and BOOM! the results are there. I encourage you not to do gambling if you don't have your own budget to spend.
1509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade by yourself on: June 22, 2020, 01:37:30 PM
Trading is never easy at first but once you know how trading works then you can come up with some sort of strategies that you can use to gain profits. You need to help yourself grow in trading, you should not rely on other people. Your experiences, knowledge, and ideas should be your foundation in trading to become more effective once in for all.

I learned trading with myself with some sort of research, seeking advice from professionals, watching videos, and most importantly, practice. After you come up with a good result in trading, you should apply all your knowledge and become used to the trading situations.

You need to adapt depending on the market situation so that you know what strategies you are going to perform. It is much effective once you understand how signal trading works.
1510  Economy / Economics / Re: How in the world we going to restart the world economy ? on: June 22, 2020, 01:06:24 PM
What terratory are you in? In the UK we only lost about 20% of the economy in March even due to lockdown (so enough people bought things and did things online while being off).. Most countries seemed to furlough people too so they did get "free" money from the government.

I don't think it should be up to a government to give away free money, maybe give money in exchange for efforts people have wput in to social distance, isolate or volunteer to help but you can't print enoghb money for everyone to start a company...

Here in Philippines, they don't allocate the proper budget for this pandemic. There is a budget that's allocated to help those families in need amidst this pandemic but not all of them received even a single cent. The government here is not that strategic enough when it comes to planning on how the economy will recover from the damages brought by this pandemic.

The authorities here are more focused on some other issues than the economic issues. I heard that our President already borrowed huge a lot of budget from the World Bank and other Organizations but I don't think that they properly used it. I don't think that if the government's mindset is not focus on the greater good of its people, then the economy will really have a hard time to restart even the world economy.
1511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can others compare to bitcoin's values? on: June 22, 2020, 12:34:41 PM
comparison can take place between different cryptocurrencies even if their differences were vast. but we first have to clearly define the characteristics we are going to compare and then compare those. for example we can not compare PoW with PoS but we can compare the characteristics that are the result of these algorithms. for example the security, attack surfaces, damage caused by such attacks, cost of attacks, how they contribute to decentralization,...

Comparison will only happen if you compare both two cryptocurrencies that are existing in the market. They have different values and benefits in the market as you try to compare them, for example, Bitcoin and ETH. We all know that bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency and its price is extremely high compared to other coins. While ETH is only the 2nd most used coin in the market although it is an altcoin that most of the people used for their alternative investments. In terms of security, scammers are more focused on bitcoin due to its high value in the market and it is really profitable for them. That's the reason why everytime you should invest in cryptocurrency, always improve your security because bitcoin is very valuable.
1512  Economy / Gambling discussion / "Poker Tournaments" are reopening little by little. on: June 21, 2020, 06:37:07 PM
On March 2020, there are a lot of poker tournaments which are postponed due to this Covid-19 pandemic. I know all of us wants to watch those live tournaments because of getting bored as we don't have an access to play poker physically in some casinos. Some gamblers are only relying on playing poker through offline and online gambling platform.

There are some casinos that are reopened in May to continue operating and it includes "The Seminole Hard Rock Tampa", "the King’s Casino Rozvadov", "Derby Lane", and "Bestbet Jacksonville and Bestbet Orange Park. This is a good news for those gamblers who are homesick in watching or playing poker in the internet.

“We are going to start offering tournaments again in July,” bestbet Director of Poker Jesse Hollander told Card Player. “We will likely have three tournaments a week in Jacksonville and two a week at Orange Park, no-limit hold’em tournaments with buy-ins of $60 and $150. We will offer those in July, and hopefully will offer more starting in August.”

This Multi-Table Tournaments are located in different countries and i'm pretty sure that it can bring a lot of influence to the slowly improvement of gambling industry amidst this pandemic. This is complete possible to happen because probably there are a new set of rules and regulation that are implemented inside a poker casino. There are more casinos that will soon to reopen in the month of July and August.

“The top priorities for us are to make sure that the players are safe and make sure our staff are safe,” said Savage.
Although, it is not that safe to play and go to a physical casinos, it is good that staffs are still prioritizing safety for all.

Do you think this will bring a huge development or improvement in a Gambling Industry? Will poker be the only safest option to play gambling right now?

1513  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Futures trading on: June 21, 2020, 02:51:28 PM
Binance is good as it has many features and even lets you play games in their platform. Though some features requires KYC, I don't think it would be an issue as you've said that you wanted to take higher risks, also, Binance have a lot of users/traders that are active hence it's volume was fair enough. This isn't to promote Binance but I think it's the best if you would pursue daily crypto trading and focus in it.

But if you really love to have a long term (that you can still be using in the future) trading, better reconsider trying Stock Trading or Forex Trading. Most traders there trades for years and wealth is mostly growing (unless you aren't that good enough)

If you're looking for a good and effective trading platform for your future trading, then try to use Binance. I used it for so long and I'm comfortable with its features that I can't find in many trading platforms. It is the most trustworthy exchanges that I know and it is much easier to manipulate my assets using this.

Binance's security when it comes to its customer is really outstanding that's why the volume of people who are using it is high enough. Its reputation to some traders are really high that's why you this platform will never disappoint you.

Future trades are really easy to do using Binance.
1514  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs. Cash Inflation — A discussion on which is better on: June 21, 2020, 01:53:03 PM
Bitcoin is going to be the better one, cash is losing value and keep losing it every year so people lost their trust in it. On the other hand bitcoin is growing technology and it is getting recognized recently for various reasons so time will let us know which is better to individuals.

If you think about the bitcoin's future, it is really the most effective to choose as its value depends on the factors that are related to the advancement of our technology. We are engaging into a more digitize money which is easy to use using our gadgets in many transactions that we will do.

Bitcoin is one of the best creations that can last up to so many years, as this cryptocurrency has a lot of potential to grow more and become the cryptocurrency with a highest value in the market.
Right now, we are still under recession and that can contribute to the value of bitcoin, some businesses are still unable to operate because of the huge increase in the number of infected cases of this pandemic.
1515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [LIST] PVP Games Casino You Can Try on: June 20, 2020, 03:20:28 PM
^ It is a very helpful thread, I remember before there was a thread of newbie asking for PVP game which is it took an hour for me to find in google. But now, you compiled them all, that was a great job and the effort you spent on this. I hope you will regularly update this thread if there are new games you found. How about billiards or 8 ball pool game, I saw someone asking that before.

This thread could help a lot of gamblers who are looking for a skill-based games like those things that are included by the OP. Those PVP gambling games will improve our critical thinking skills and strategies that will probably help us to earn more winning than in other games. Poker is also good and that's my favorite game in all of the gambling PVP games that I've played before.

IMO, if someone put a link on where we can play 8ball pool game with bets, then it is good. There are a lot of gamblers like me who are suggesting to make an 8ball pool gambling game or giving us a link where we can play it because we want it so bad. That is another sort of skill-based gambling game where we can enjoy competing with other people.
1516  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When the US stock market goes down Bitcoin goes down on: June 20, 2020, 02:37:12 PM
Today, the US stock future goes down near 900 points then the bitcoin prices goes down too.  It happened the same in March 2020 when the US stock market goes down then Bitcoin goes down $4500.  Any one knows the psychology or the mood of the trader?  Thanks.
It was a panicked selling mood. is understandable because this is when the epidemic began to spread so people will not need to hold financial assets anymore. they will sell for a lot of cash so they can buy food. That is why when there is instability in the economy out there, the financial market will fluctuate so strongly. We are also investors and Bitcoin is just a financial asset, it will not escape panic selling.

That's their way of surviving this pandemic, they do panic selling in order to buy their necessities as this quarantine really cause inconvenience to all of us. US stock market affects the bitcoin's price so much that if it goes down, bitcoin will also go down. Bitcoin's value is what we need right now to buy food for our family, but if you have some spare amount of money that you can use for your budget, then there's no need for you to do panic selling. Instead, you will still wait for the economy to become in a better state where bitcoin's price will improve and also the US stock market. This pandemic is not a long-term suffering. I believe that bitcoin will save us soon.
1517  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving economy at the cost of what? on: June 20, 2020, 02:07:57 PM
Yes, it is true that coronavirus has made the economic side of the economy unusable and people are facing a lot of problems and because of this schools and colleges have been closed, the wheel of the economy has become stagnant and we have been able to keep the wheel of the economy moving.

We need to recover from economic crisis that we are experiencing right now because it can affect how we live in the next few years. The good thing that the government here are giving chances to those small and big businesses to operate with the "new normal". There are new set of rules and regulations that they must follow in order to open and operate safely.

Huge businesses like universities, corporations, and etc, they are the most affected sectors of the economy as they are not allowed to open because they have huge volumes of customers.

Each and every governments should make an effective plan which they will use to make their economy recover and become stable. Some countries are now in a process of recovery and their economy is now moving well, so that they can retrieve all their budget that they've spent during lockdown. That's how they save their economy from this pandemic.
1518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Police Arrest on: June 20, 2020, 01:33:40 PM
Not the first time that we have heard high profile personalities in Russia abusing their privilege to mine cryptos, Russian nuclear scientists arrested for 'Bitcoin mining plot'.

I just don't understand how russian authorities are that strict when it comes to cryptocurrency. Those Russian nuclear scientist that was arrested due to illegal mining of cryptocurrency should be investigated enough before filing a criminal case against them.

Those people are really wise and intelligent enough in making ways on how to use cryptocurrency even though it is prohibited in their country. No one is exempted when it comes to the laws of the government of Russia, that's why even high profile personalities can be arrested and put into jail once they don't have any permits to present even if they are working on that top-russian Nuclear Power Plant.
1519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading in India is on fire on: June 19, 2020, 01:30:50 PM
This might may not continue for long as new report indicates that India is planning to put the law in place to ban the cryptos from the country. This may not be the good news for the all the crypto enthusiastic who were happy when the court ruled out the RBI judgement and stated that they were legal. Will need to wait for further updates on the is matter.

Maybe their country is really not that prepared in engaging into cryptocurrency and yet they allow it. Probably they are having a hard time right now manipulating cryptocurrency in their economy because they don't have proper plans or actions regarding their legalization of cryptocurrency.

As they plan to discontinue the use of cryptocurrency, i'm pretty sure that there are a lot of bitcoin users who are worrying about their assets and they will have a hard time managing and using their cryptocurrency in their country once they prohibit again the use of cryptocurrency.

We have nothing to do with that, they should accept what the authorities asked them to do if the legalization of cryptocurrencies will go back to normal where it is not allowed to operate in the market.
